see page 8 for details.
Fall 2012 Getting Better with Age The theme for the 18th Annual Haverford Township Day, “Getting Better With Age celebrates 100 years since the township was incorporated (1912-2012). We have a brilliant past and an even brighter future. With the opening of the Community Recreation Environmental Center in June, Haverford Township demonstrated its committment to the health and stewardship of the community for years to come. We have much to be proud of and even more to be grateful for as we look back and move forward.

The Mission of the CREC is to create a healthier environment and healthier individuals through education and programs. We believe the health of our community is directly related to the quality of our air, water and open spaces as well as the food we eat, the condition of our bodies and how we think. What residents had to say about our programs
Basketball League “I hope this e mail gets to the right people. My name is Jason Kraiza. I am a father of 3 boys and I also coach in your league. I have been around sports my entire life. I played baseball and basketball in college. I have never in my life seen or been involved with a better organization then you guys have. Joe Doc, Andrew and each and every staff member is amazing as the next. My son is having a great time. What’s so important to me is the rules that they have set up. It is set up for the boys to learn basketball and have fun. I am just so proud of being a part of it. Thanks and keep it up!” haverfordtownship.org
