Welcome to a New Season Welcome to the Hazlitt Theatre’s new Summer Season. With the colder weather behind us hopefully the Hazlitt Theatre has some amazing productions within it’s programme to please our audiences of all ages. So with the Easter Eggs eaten and the summer fast approaching, where best to come for your live entertainment fix, than the county towns very own theatre. This season we welcome some fantastic family shows for all Mum’s, Dad’s and children to enjoy. Where best to start than book your tickets for the extremely well known and much loved ‘Guess How Much I Love You’. A book that we have probably all had read to us, or that we have read to our children, will come alive upon the Hazlitt stage. Alongside this we have a production of Elves and the Shoemaker in the studio and the Summer holiday we will welcome The Giants Loo Roll, Little Mix Experience and The Big Draw Along, This particular season will see the commencement, thanks to Parkwood Capital Investment, of work taking place in the studio to turn it into a better working Black Box Studio theatre. We want to attract new and better acts into our other venue and we believe this exciting turn around will be the key to achieving just that.
We also have some great dance shows in with Vienna Festival Ballet, and we are welcoming a new dance company, Ballet Black. We have ‘Evenings With’ with the likes of Paul Gascoigne, Jason Donovan and Peter Andre amongst others. And for all of you that like a laugh we have comics a plenty. John Robbins, Richard Herring, Alun Cochrane and Shappi Khorsandi will be among some of those that will have you laughing in the aisles. And for all those music lovers we have some great acts, bands and tributes in ranging from Les Musicals to Complete Madness. The fantastic Adele Songbook in the same month as Just Begun, a tribute to The Carpenters! So make sure you have a look as I am sure there is a show in this brochure or maybe two or three, just for you. Regards Martin Cleverley General Manager
The Hazlitt Theatre is operated by Parkwood Theatres working in partnership with Maidstone Borough Council.
