Ahora que parece, a menos que sustanciales cambios aparezcan ante la inminente repetición de comicios en las Cortes, que la palabra “entendimiento” no aparece en el vocabulario de nuestro escenario político a gran escala; por ello, ceder por ambas partes, en beneficio del entendimiento a pequeña escala, sería una ventana a la esperanza ciudadana.

El entendimiento, la negociación y el acuerdo parten de una premisa fundamental para llegar a buen puerto: ceder. Y si este verbo si ejecuta de la teoría a la práctica en beneficio del sentido común, el menos común de los sentidos, el que sale ganando es el ciudadano, el barrio, la población y el contribuyente, a todos luces, el votante.

Si los grandes partidos no logran entablar un discurso de acuerdo, éste se hace imprescindible para el buen funcionamiento de las pequeñas administraciones, muchas de ellas, condenadas

a entenderse. En la última edición de este periódico se denunciaba la insuficiente cantidad de arena prevista para el aporte de recuperación en la playa de Sotogrande. Un tema casi ‘profanado’ en los últimos años por los tiras y aflojas de las administraciones involucradas, ambas de diferente color político. Ahora, tras una visita del subdelegado provincial del Gobierno y técnicos de diferentes instituciones, se abre una vía alternativa para su incremento (hasta el doble, cerca de 40.000 metros cúbicos de arena), siempre y cuando, Ayuntamiento, Junta de Andalucía y Demarcación de Costas (Ministerio de Medio Ambiente), trabajen de la mano. No es tan complicado, es sólo cuestión de ceder, entenderse y mirar por el ciudadano.

It now seems that, unless significant changes takes place faced with a repeat of elections for parliament, the word “understanding” does not appear to feature in the vocabulary of our political sphere on a large scale; for that reason, for both parties to compromise, for the benefit of understanding, would be a window onto the hopes of citizens.

Understanding, negotiation and agreements begin with a crucial premise if they are to be successful: compromise. If this verb is actually put into practice for the benefit of common sense, the least common of the senses, it is the citizens that ultimately win; the neighbourhoods, people and tax payers, by any reckoning, voters.

If the big parties do not manage to take up a discourse of agreement, it becomes essential for the correct functioning of small administrations, many of which are simply condemned to get along. In the last edition

of this newspaper, we complained about the insufficient provision of sand for the recovery of Sotogrande beach. This has become an almost sacrilegious issue over the last few years due to the give and take of the administrations involved, both of different political colours. Now, following a visit from the Government’s provincial sub-delegate and experts from different institutions, an alternative path has been opened to increase the amount (up to double the initial provision, close to 40,000 cubic metres of sand), provided that, the Council, the Regional Government of Andalucía and the Coastal Demarcation Department (Environmental Ministry), work alongside one another. It is not so difficult; it is a matter of compromising, understanding one another and looking after citizens.

It would not be a bad start to the summer season to see the beach take shape again from May onwards. Indeed, the beach was

previously one of the most iconic in the Resort and surrounding area. Work carried out by residents and entities in the area has been more than proven. We just lack the good predisposition of the administrations.

This start to the season has got off on a good footing following the positive and promising tourism data in the area after the first important period of the year: Holy Week, as a Report in this newspaper looked at. Everything indicates that, once again, we are facing a year of record figures in relation to the last few years. Let us hope everything goes to plan.

A large role in this, as the big driving force behind the start of spring, is down to Real Club Valderrama, for their willingness to hold the Spanish Golf Open. Congratulations for the initiative! Such events revitalise the area, they fill it with economic activity, and they position it internationally at the forefront.

Valderrama y el golf, una fórmula infalible Hablar de golf después de un Máster de Augusta con un final increíble, donde Danny Willett con un juego regular se benefició del alto precio que tuvo que pagar en el hoyo 12 Jordan Spieth, donde se dejo cuatro golpes, ¡cuádruple bogey!. Y no solo eso, fueron muchos los millones de almas que presenciaron este macro evento por televisión en todo el mundo es, cuanto menos, halagüeño. El golf sigue siendo uno de los mayores atractivos.

Y justo ahora cuando aún seguimos recordando los golpes en el emblemático recorrido americano, nos presentamos ante el Open de España en el mítico recorrido de la Europa continental: Valderrama. Y no es cualquier campo, es el campo por

excelencia. El recorrido sanroqueño sigue gozando del prestigio internacional y con tan solo poner en el cartel este trazado parece como si el golf incrementase sus valores. Sólo hay que ver estos días previos al inicio de la competición cómo se vive en la zona, hay mucho movimiento de empleo, transportes, camiones de productoras, un ir y venir propio de los grandes años que vivimos en este rincón a través del golf. Ahora es un gran momento para sumar entre todos, poner lo mejor de cada uno para que de nuevo el golf sea sinónimo de hacer crecer las temporadas. Le damos la bienvenida al Tour Europeo y que nuevamente se apunte el éxito en uno de los lugares mas arraigados con este deporte, en su año de regreso como olímpico.

Sotogrande se viene arriba con los grandes eventos, y en estos días deberíamos todos en general participar y colaborar para consolidar estas acciones. No sólo vale tratar de salir en la foto de rigor y hacer declaraciones banales. Se debe procurar luchar para consolidar una mayor prestación de servicios, hacerles ver a nuestras autoridades que invertir en acontecimientos de este calibre nos da fuerza y nos repercute en nuestras economías de una forma considerable. Aún no nos explicamos como se nos marchó el Andalucía Master, en aquella ocasión manifestaban que tenían que equilibrar los recursos en el territorio y que no podían dotar económicamente las partidas mínimas necesarias para sostener a un grande del

golf. En esos momentos la aportación debería estar entorno a los 3 millones de euros. Una minucia comparado con lo que reporta esta actividad. Luego vimos, con y sin sorpresas, como aún sin levantar del todo las alfombras eso resultaba calderilla comparado con otros casos como los cursos de formación y otras desfachateces de nuestros ilustres gobernantes.

Sólo nos resta decir, por favor vengan, háganse la foto, participen en declaraciones, no se ruboricen, digan que sí, que el golf es un valor en alza y nos trae muchos millones de euros de divisas a nuestra tierra. Si en verdad lo deberían saber, cuando asisten a los grandes salones de turismo por el mundo como pueden comprobar como Andalucía destaca por ser un territorio único y con los mejores campos de golf de Europa.

Y además tenemos el lujo de contar con el número uno: Valderrama.

Por los demás temas, en la próxima edición nos centraremos en las playas de nuestro entorno y comprobar si se perdieron muchos meses con peleas dialécticas entre las distintas administraciones por saber a quien le corresponde “arrojar” la arena en la playa o en la cara del otro. ¡Qué insensatez!, si nuestro visitante y residente tan sólo quiere disfrutar del litoral en paz y con alegría para seguir reportando beneficios al sector turístico.

The San Roque round continues to enjoy international prestige and by simply placing this tour on the poster it is as if golf is increasing its value. You only have to see over these previous days at the beginning of the competition how the area comes alive - there’s so much movement of work, transport, production trucks, a coming and going that is unique to the great years we experience in this corner of the world due to golf. Now is a wonderful moment come

together, making the best of each one of us so that golf once again becomes synonymous with growing seasons. We welcome the European Tour and once again look forward to its success in one of the places where golf is most deeply rooted, in the year of its revival as an Olympic sport.

Sotogrande has some great events coming up, and in this time we all ought to participate and collaborate generally to consolidate these actions. It is not only about posing for the standard photo and making banal declarations. Efforts should be made to fight to consolidate a better provision of services, making our authorities see that investing in events of this level strengthens us and has considerable repercussions on our economy.

It still hasn’t been explained to us how we lost the Andalusia Masters. At the time it was claimed that they had to balance the resources in the region and that they couldn’t economically give the minimum funds necessary to sustain a major golf tournament. At that time the amount must have been around 3 million euros. A miniscule amount compared with the income this activity generates. Then we saw, both surprised and unsurprised, how even without lifting up all the rugs they

managed to find the loose change compared with other cases such as training courses and other affronts of our illustrious leaders.

The only thing that remains to be said is to please come, take the photo, make your declarations, don’t turn red, say that yes, golf is a growing value and brings us many millions of euros from foreign currencies to our country. If they truly want to know, when they attend the great tourism fairs around the world it’s clear that Andalusia is noted for being a unique territory and one of the finest golf courses in Europe. And we also have the privilege of having the number one: Valderrama.

As to the other subjects, in the next edition we will focus on our local beaches and see how many months have been lost to word fights between the various administrations, trying to figure out whose turn it is to either throw sand at the beach or in the face of the other.

What nonsense! When all that our visitors and residents want to do is enjoy our coastline in peace and happiness so that it can continue to benefit our tourism sector.

De Torre abre la puerta a un aumento del aporte de arena destinado para la playa de Sotogrande El subdelegado provincial del Gobierno admite que de contar con nuevos permisos para una mayor cantidad de arena, el incremento es posible; el Consistorio asegura que trabajará por cumplir ese trámite dentro del plazo habilitado 1 Manuel Gil

El subdelegado del Gobierno en la Provincia de Cádiz, Javier de Torre, se desplazó hasta la playa de Sotogrande para conocer de primera mano la finalización de la obra de los espigones y las necesidades de regeneración de la playa, tanto a nivel de usuarios como por la peligrosidad que supone para los vecinos la continua erosión de la playa.

Tras el anuncio, hace algunas de semanas del aporte de arena para este año sería de 20.000 metros cúbicos de arena, procedentes de la desembocadura del río Guadiaro, de los cuales 10.000 sería la parte que asumiese la Demarcación de Costas del Ministerio de Ambiente, de Torre confirmó una nueva vía para incrementar esta cantidad tras visitar en primera

persona la zona afectada.

El subdelegado admitió que el aporte de este año (20.000) era la cantidad aprobada y establecida, recordando que para llevar a cabo una regeneración de este estilo se necesita de una serie de permisos ambientales que proceden de la Junta de Andalucía (siendo en la actualidad permitido el aporte de 20.000 metros cúbicos). Pero no cerró la puerta a que se incrementase esta cantidad siempre

y cuando cada una de las partes realizaran los trámites pertinentes para aumentar esta cifra.

“Si Ayuntamiento, vecinos y Junta de Andalucía, en un trabajo común, tienen preparado los informes y cuentan con los permisos necesarios para una aportación de arena mayor, como vemos que así lo necesita la playa, y se encuentra dentro del plazo habilitado para ello, no habría ningún inconveniente, todo lo

contrario, estaríamos dispuestos a incrementar la cifra de arena aportada”, detalló de Torre desde la misma playa de Sotogrande.

“Siempre y cuando todo esté en tiempo y forma, podría aumentar para este mismo verano de 2016.

La regeneración, hasta ahora tal y como está prevista, de 20.000 metros cúbicos se realizará posiblemente durante el mes de mayo, cuando la propia regeneración natural del río haya finalizado”, añadió.

Por su parte, Juan Manuel Ordóñez, primer teniente de alcalde y edil de Urbanismo, Ordenación del Territorio y Medio Ambiente, también presente en la visita, confirmó que desde el Consistorio se trabajaría “desde ya” para cumplir con ese trámite e incrementar

el aporte de arena. “Trataremos de hacer todo lo posible para aumentar el aporte porque es muy necesario, en especial para muchos vecinos a los que está llegando el agua a la puerta de su casa.

Trataremos de intentar doblar al menos, hasta los 40.000 metros cúbicos, la cantidad de arena”, aseguró Ordóñez.

También estuvieron presentes en la visita Sergio Sanchez, gerente de la EUC Parques de Sotogrande; Pilar Lorente, representante de la Urbanización Playa Sotogrande; representantes de Sotogrande S. A.; Óscar Ledesma, edil del Valle del Guadiaro; o los concejales del Partido Popular, Ramón Aranda, Marina García y Carlos Mescua.; además de diferentes técnicos de distintas administraciones.

The sub-delegate admitted that the amount for this year (20,000)

was the approved and stipulated amount, and reminded people that in order to carry out regeneration work of this style it is necessary to have a series of environmental licenses issued by the Regional Government of Andalucía (the amount currently allowed is 20,000 cubic metres). However, he did not rule out the possibility of increasing this amount provided that the parties carried out the steps required to increase this figure.

“If the Council, residents and Regional Government of Andalucía, working together, prepared the reports and have the permits required for the provision of more sand, which is clearly needed for the beach, and they do so within the amount of time provided for that purpose, there would be no problem, quite the opposite, we would be ready to increase the amount of sand provided”, outlined De Torre from Sotogrande.

In turn, Juan Manuel Ordóñez, first deputy mayor and Councillor for City Planning, Land Management and the Environment, also present at the visit, confirmed that the Council will work, “right from this minute” to fulfil this step and increase the provision of sand. “We will try to do everything possible to increase the amount because it is really necessary, especially for

lots of the residents who have the water practically on their doorstep.

We will try to at least double the amount of sand to 40,000 cubic metres”, stated Ordóñez.

Also on the visit were Sergio Sanchez, manager of the UCE for the Parks of Sotogrande; Pilar Lorente, representative of the Sotogrande Beach Resort; representatives of Sotogrande S.A; Óscar Ledesma, councillor of Valle del Guadiaro; and the councillors for the Partido Popular, Ramón Aranda, Marina García and Carlos Mescua; as well as different technicians from various administrations.

Amaya Azcona ensalza las voluntades de Redmadre con una conferencia en Sotogrande 1 M. Gil

El estupendo salón polivalente del Hotel Club Marítimo de Sotogrande sirvió de escenario y tribuna de excepción para acoger la interesante conferencia organizada por la delegación del Campo de Gibraltar de la Fundación Redmadre, una entidad destinada a prestar ayuda a mujeres con dificultades de todo tipo durante el embarazo. La cita contó, además de con un nutrido grupo de asistentes, con la participación de dos nombres claves en el funcionamiento de esta red de asistencia, como Amaya Azcona, presidenta nacional de la Fundación Redmadre; y Gracia Rivas, presidenta de la Asociación Redmadre Málaga.

La cita giró alrededor de las principales voluntades y valores asistenciales que presta Redmadre a todas esas mujeres que se encuentran con dificultades y obstáculos, de todo tipo durante el embarazo. Personas que no encuentran el apoyo y ni más salidas durante esta etapa de su vida, bien por un conflicto per-

sona, emocional, familiar, económico, …, a los que Redmadre asiste de manera desinteresada, logrando establecer una productiva red de socios y voluntarios que contribuyen con la tarea.

En su intervención, Amaya Azcona destacó que durante el embarazo pueden aparecer “numerosas dificultades desde su inicio y en muchos casos estas mujeres cuentan con con dificultades a las que no son capaces de hacer frente solas”.

“Más allá del tratamiento médico, desde las instituciones no se da mayor salida a mujeres que se en-

cuentran embarazadas en una situación de conflicto que el aborto y Redmadre les ofrece la posibilidad de ayudarlas durante esta etapa única de sus vidas, con un red de perfiles profesionales, para hacerles ver que hay más opciones. Amaya Azcona extols the aims of Redmadre at a conference in Sotogrande The fantastic multi-use room at the Hotel Club Marítimo in Sotogrande was an exceptional venue and forum for hosting the interesting conference organised by the Campo de Gibraltar delegation of the Mother’s Network Foundation (Fundación Redmadre) an entity aimed at providing help to women with all kinds of difficulties during pregnancy. In addition to a large number of people in attendance, the event had involvement from key figures that contributes to the functioning of this support network, such as Amaya Azcona, national president of the Fundación Redmadre; and Gracia Rivas, president of the Asociación Redmadre Málaga.

The event revolved around the main desire and values of support

provided by Redmadre to all of these women that face all kinds of difficulties and obstacles dur-

network of partners and volunteers that contribute to the task.

Las plazas de vuelo crecerán este verano cerca de un 40% en Gibraltar El Aeropuerto Internacional de Gibraltar registrará una cifra histórica de vuelos durante el próximo verano. Las nuevas rutas abiertas y el incremento de la frecuencia de vuelo entre las ya existentes por parte de las aerolíneas que aterrizan en el Peñón deparará un balance de récord. Destacar que a Sotogrande desembarca cada verano un número considerable de turistas procedentes de los diferentes aeropuertos colindantes, siendo el de Gibraltar uno de los principales en cuanto a su nexo con Reino Unido en rutas áreas. La compañía British Airways ofrece nuevas salidas a primera hora de la mañana desde Londres Heathrow los lunes y los viernes desde el 28 de marzo y a partir del 3 de mayo, ofrecerá vuelos también los martes y los jueves, con lo que serán 13 vuelos semanales. Por su parte, EasyJet lanzará un servicio bisemanal a Manchester los miércoles y los domingos. Asimismo, a partir del 19 de julio, la aerolínea ofrecerá otros dos vuelos a Londres Gatwick, lo que elevará a 13 el número de vuelos semanales en los meses de temporada alta estival. La ruta a Bristol, inaugurada en abril de 2015, constará de tres vuelos semanales. Además, los vuelos dominicales se realizarán en una aeronave A320, más amplia, que ofrecerá 48 plazas adicionales a la semana. Monarch Airlines incorporará otro vuelo semanal desde Birmingham los lunes, los miércoles y los viernes.

A partir del 1 de mayo, la aerolínea ofrecerá una ruta a Londres Gatwick con cuatro vuelos semanales.De este modo, Monarch Airlines conectará Gibraltar con otros cuatro aeropuertos: Londres Gatwick, Londres Luton, Manchester y Birmingham. Por último, los vuelos de Royal Air Maroc se mantendrán los jueves y los domingos; no obstante, se retrasará la hora de salida de Gibraltar los jueves hasta última hora de la tarde.

The new routes opened and the increase in the frequency of flights between existing routes by Airlines that operate in Gibraltar will cause a record. It is worth highlighting that each summer Sotogrande welcomes a considerable number of tourists coming from neighbouring airports, and Gibraltar is one of the main ones in terms of its flight route connection with the United Kingdom.

The company British Airways is providing new departures first thing in the morning from London Heathrow on Monday and Friday from 28 March and from 3 May, it will also offer flights on Tuesday and Thursday, so there will be a total of 13 weekly flights.

In turn, EasyJet will launch a twice weekly service to Manchester on Wednesday and Sunday. Likewise, from 19 July, the airline will offer another two flights to London Gatwick, which will increase the number of weekly flights during the high tourism months to 13. The route to Bristol, opened in April 2015, will consist of three weekly flights. Furthermore, the flights on Sunday will be an A320 airbus, which is larger, and will provide an additional 48 seats during the week.

La EUC se prepara y actúa ante la actual situación del virus ‘Zika’ Debido a la actual situación de alarma ante la propagación del virus Zika y a la existencia de vectores de propagación en la zona de Sotogrande, tales como el mosquito Tigre (Aedes albopictus), la Entidad Urbanística Parques de Sotogrande ha solicitado a los organismos competentes, tanto a nivel Local, Autonómico y Nacional, la actuación en el área de influencia del río Guadiaro a su paso por Sotogrande.

Actualmente, y como en años anteriores, la EUC viene realizando dentro de su plan de actuación contra plagas, tratamientos contra moscas y mosquitos por toda la urbanización. Debido a las circunstancias de este año estos esfuerzos se doblarán para asegurar el mayor grado de protección posible dentro de Sotogrande.

Por último, desde la Entidad, solicitamos la colaboración a todos los vecinos para que nos informen de toda aquella acumulación de agua existente sin tratar como piscinas abandonadas, charcas o cualquier otro tipo de agua estancada. On 14 March the process to set up the Association of Consumers and Users of La Marina in Sotogrande (ACUMAR) was concluded. The aim is to look after the interests of the large majority of owners in this resort complex. Following more than twenty years of maintenance and conservation, by Sotogrande S.A., they have begun a process led by the Council of San Roque, in order to turn it into an Urban Conservation Entity, as Luis Babiano, a lawyer in Sotogrande, already mentioned in his article published in the March-April edition of this newspaper.

The Organisation currently groups together 21 Communities of Owners of the total of 28 that comprise La Marina, eighteen with full rights and three in the process of joining up. This means that 921 of the total of 1189 owners that are in La Marina currently have representation. The joining of new interested parties, even on an individual basis, is constant, and in the very near future it is expected that practically all the owners in La Marina will participate. The association is already registered in the Register of Associations of the Regional Government of Andalucía, under

number 74. It is precisely because it is an association of consumers and users, that it has total legal protection, according to the General Law on Consumer Protection (LGDC), in order to be able to act on behalf of its associates or anyone whose rights as a consumer are violated, either individually or collectively.

Likewise, the Association has made itself available to Sotogrande, S.A. in order to establish a joint working group, thus providing its deep knowledge of the area, the experience that it has in these processes and the numerous projects already carried out and linked to the current transition to the conservation regime.

The Association aims to bring together and represent the maximum number of owners interested in ensuring that the transition process of the current regime of maintenance and conservation, known as REM, towards the new management regime, under the Urban Conservation Entity –UCE- is carried out in a coordinated and smooth manner between Sotogrande S.A. and the Owners, under the guidance of the Council of San Roque.

Also, the Association encourages owners that require any kind of information in this regard, and who have not already joined up, to do so by getting in contact via the email and telephone details listed further below.

For that purpose, the Association, and specifically, its Management Board offers, and in the same regard, requests, all of the necessary Council of San Roque collaboration, as we have seen over the last few months. This harmony must be maintained, so that the transition process can be carried out with the diligence and speed that are required.

It is clear that at the end of this process, it will be the owners take responsibility for maintaining the high level of quality on show in the resort since its creation more than twenty-five years ago and there is no doubt they will continue to maintain it in the future.

El Campeonato de España de J80 en Sotogrande, galardonada como Mejor Regata de Monotipos 2015 La competición, celebrada en aguas de Sotogrande el pasado junio, logra el premio de mejor competición en su disciplina por un medio especializado 1 Manuel Gil

El medio especializado TodoRegatas otorgó recientemente el Premio Mejor Regata de Monotipos 2015 al Campeonato de España de J80 que se celebró durante el mes de junio del pasado año en aguas de Sotogrande. Un exitoso evento organizado por CN Bevelle, con la colaboración de Puerto Sotogrande, RFEV, FAV, Ayun-

tamiento de San Roque y el colectivo de J80.

Más de una veintena de monotipos y un centenar de regatistas se dieron cita en Sotogrande e hicieron muy disputada la lucha por el título nacional de la clase durante todos los días de competición. Prueba de ello es que el “Da Bruno” de Pepequín Orbaneja y Juan

Luis Páez, ganaba el título de campeón in-extremis, en la última regata del último dia de competición.

El premio se entregará físicamente, junto a los premiados en otras disciplinas, durante la celebración del acto de entrega de Trofeos que se desarrollará el próximo sábado 23 de Abril de 2016, en Barcelona.

More than twenty monotypes and one hundred regatta sailors gathered in Sotogrande and had a very closely fought battle for the national title in the class during the course of the competition. Proof of that is the fact that the “Da Bruno” skippered

by Pepequín Orbaneja and Juan Luis Páez, won the title in-extremis, in the last regatta on the final day of the competition.

The prize will be awarded in person, along with prize winners from other disciplines, during the Trophy giving event that will take place on Saturday 23 April 2016, in Barcelona.

Alumnos del Colegio Internacional de Sotogrande presentan un proyecto para mantener limpia la playa de Torreguadiaro Un grupo de alumnos de Secundaria del Colegio Internacional de Sotogrande presentó al Ayuntamiento de San Roque un proyecto para concienciar a la población de la necesidad de mantener limpias las playas del municipio, en concreto la de Torreguadiaro.

Los estudiantes fueron recibidos por el alcalde, Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, y por la concejal de Educación, Belén Jiménez. Ambos se interesaron por los detalles del proyecto, que cuenta incluso con presupuesto propio asignado por su colegio.

En concreto, los estudiantes proponen instalar unos paneles informativos en la playa para concienciar a la población sobre el respeto al medio ambiente, carteles que se comprometen a pagar.

También sugieren cambiar la ubicación de las papeleras, instalándolas más cerca de los aparcamientos.

El alcalde escuchó sus propuestas y les facilitó el contacto con el técnico municipal responsable de la limpieza de playas para que les preste asesoramiento de cara a la posibilidad de poner en práctica este proyecto.

Pupils from Sotogrande International School present project for keeping Torreguadiaro beach clean A group of secondary school pupils from Sotogrande International School presented San Roque Council with a project for raising awareness among the public about the need to keep the municipality’s beaches clean, specifically, the one in Torreguadiaro.

San Roque y Sotogrande, muy presentes en la feria turística de Moscú, MITT 2016, un año más. La delegación sanroqueña, encabezada por la teniente de alcalde de Turismo, Dolores Marchena, mantuvo numerosas reuniones, en algunas de las cuales se cerraron actividades de promoción turística del municipio en la Federación Rusa.

La feria turística de Moscú, MITT 2016, se celebró entre el miércoles 23 y el sábado 26. Se trata de una de las citas más importantes del sector a nivel internacional y clave para captar al pujante turismo ruso,

cada vez más presente en la zona.

La feria MITT de Moscú (Moscow International Travel & Tourism) es la muestra turística más importante de Rusia y la tercera más influyente del mundo. Participan más de 1.800 empresas de 192 países y regiones y este 2016 ha celebrado su vigésimo tercera edición.

El Centro de Documentación Turística de Madrid, que dirige Miguel Montes, Secretario General de la Federación Española de Periodistas y Escritores de Turismo y que desde hace años está presente en la ITB con una muestra de libros y re-

vistas de turismo, ha llevado a cabo con motivo del 50 aniversario de la feria una aportación excepcional.

Seleccionó de entre sus numerosos fondos una colección de carteles y libros de turismo que expuso con cuidada presentación.

Economía con buen viento Los datos que vamos conociendo sobre la economía en los primeros meses de 2016 permiten aventurar un año positivo; por utilizar un lenguaje que se aprecia en Sotogrande, con buen viento…racheado. Continúa el crecimiento, pero quizá a un ritmo menor.

España puede crecer un 2,8 % en 2016.

En el último trimestre de 2015 lo hizo a un 3,5 % anual, algo por encima del trimestre anterior, y por encima de la media del año, que fue un 3,2 %. Pero puede haber un freno en los dos primeros trimestres de este año.

Los datos de empleo han sido buenos, y la Universidad Carlos III, aunque prevé una caída en el crecimiento

medio de la afiliación a la Seguridad Social, mantiene sus previsiones con respecto a la Encuesta de Población Activa, y estima que el empleo va a crecer en 2016 entre un 2 % y un 3 %.

En cuando a la inflación, los precios de los combustibles y la electricidad invitan a esperar un año con un IPC negativo de en torno al – 1,0 %. Esto no significa que no haya inflación; de hecho, se espera que la inflación subyacente, que excluye los productos energéticos y los alimentos sin elaborar, siga creciendo, alcanzando una subida media en 2016 del 0,9 %. Es posible, asimismo, que el ciclo bajista de los precios del crudo haya concluido. Sea como fuere, y aunque la deflación no es algo necesariamente

malo, podemos descartar la llamada “espiral deflacionaria”.

A pesar de las tensiones políticas y financieras, se espera que la economía mundial crezca entre un 3 % y un 3,5 % en 2016. Y la de la eurozona en torno a un 1,5 %. Las incógnitas son muchas, desde la deuda y las divisas hasta los tipos de interés. Y en España está el problema del ajuste fiscal, y cómo va a ser acometido por el próximo Gobierno. Pero las expectativas de crecimiento económico siguen siendo buenas. Además, los analistas subrayan que dos actividades que interesan especialmente en Sotogrande mantienen un dinamismo importante: la construcción de viviendas y el turismo.

Growth is continuing, although perhaps at a reduced pace.

Spain could grow by 2.8% in 2016. In the last quarter of 2015 the annual growth rate was 3.5%, somewhat above the last quarter, and higher than the average for the year, which was 3.2%. However, there could be a slowing down in the first two quarters of this year.

Employment figures have been good, and although the Universidad Carlos III foresees a fall in the average growth of affiliation to Social Security, it maintains its forecasts in relation to the Labour Force Survey, and estimates that employment is going to increase in 2016 by between 2% and 3%.

In terms of inflation, the price of fuel and electricity

point to a year with a negative CPI of around -1.0%.

This does not mean that there is no inflation, in fact, it is expected that the core inflation, which excludes energy and unprocessed food, will continue to grow, reaching an average increase in 2016 of 0.9%.

Likewise, it is possible that the downward cycle of crude oil prices has ended. Whatever the case, and although deflation is not necessary something bad, we can rule out the so-called “deflationary spiral”.

Despite the political and economic tensions, the world economy is expected to grow between 3% and 3.5% in 2016. In the Eurozone this growth will be around 1.5%. There are many unknown factors, from debt to exchange -rates and also interest rates.

La Semana Santa abre un periodo de altas expectativas turísticas en Sotogrande

• El periplo vacacional, pese a su prontitud en el calendario, deja una cuota de ocupación turística cercana al 70%.

• Los visitantes se reparten prácticamente por igual entre nacionales y foráneos.

• El nivel de ocupación se incrementa a medida que avanza la temporada.

• El Open de España de Golf, en Real Club Valderrama, coloca el cartel de “completo” en la zona.

En este año 2016, de manera extraordinaria, la Semana Santa no se convirtió en el eje central de la actividad turística durante la primavera, todo lo contrario, marca el inicio de un periplo de muy altas expectativas para el sector turístico y de servicios tanto en Sotogrande como en todo su área de influencia. La prontitud (mediados de marzo) en la que este año el caprichoso calendario lunar situó la Semana Mayor, la convierten en el pistoletazo de salida de una prometedora primavera a nivel turístico y comercial.

Con una media de ocupación, a gran escala, cercana o incluso algo superior al 70%, la Semana Santa estuvo casi a los mismos niveles que el pasado año pero con la sensación, desde los profesionales del sector hotelero de que están marcando el inicio de un periodo muy positivo en la zona.

La propia Semana Santa, el inminente Open de España de Golf que se celebra en Real Club Valderrama y que ha colocado el letrero de “completo” en los complejos hoteleros del entorno, acompañado de las diferentes citas internacionales de este primavera tanto del mundo del polo como de la vela, sitúan a Sotogrande en el disparadero de

una de las temporadas pre-estivales más prometedoras de los últimos años.

Concretamente, sobre ese dato global de ocupación del 70% durante la Semana Santa, se trata de un dato medio, ya que esta cifra se incrementó notablemente a medida que avanzó la semana y rozó el lleno a finales del “puente largo” en los hoteles de la zona. El visitante, como suele ser habitual en este época del año, prácticamente se divide en iguales entre extranjeros y nacionales.

En el caso del Hotel Almenara,

la media se pudo situar entre el 70 y el 80% de ocupación, alcanzando el 100% de capacidad en el último tramo de la semana. El golf, con un número importante de salidas, también contribuyó a unos datos positivos durante el inicio de la temporada primaveral. Con un perfil, en este caso más extranjero, con visitantes suizos, alemanes y británicos, como principales puntos de procedencia.

En este sentido, destacar también un lleno de reservas cara al fin de semana de la celebración del Real Club Valderrama Open

de España – Fundación Sergio García, que atraerá a numeroso público y amantes del golf.

En esta línea, el Hotel Sotogrande, que abrió sus puertas el pasado 1 de abril también fue incrementando su volumen de ocupación, alcanzando también una importante cuota de reservas cara al fin de semana del 15 al 17 de abril.

Por su parte, el Hotel Club Marítimo de Sotogrande, que inauguró al temporada el pasado 13 de marzo, también alcanzó el 85% de media de ocupación durante la Semana Santa. Colocando el

cartel de “completo”, tanto en los últimos fines de semana registrados como cara a la semana del Open de España de Golf. Con un público muy habitual en este emblemático hotel y que repite año tras año en las mismas fechas.

En otro de los complejos de mayor capacidad en la zona, The Suites at San Roque Club, se notó, de manera palpable, la prontitud de la Semana Santa en este año 2016 aunque logró alcanzar cuotas entre el 60 y 70% de ocupación durante el primer periplo vacacional del año. Repartiendo sus clientes, prácticamente por parejos, entre nacionales y foráneos. En la misma sintonía que otros centros hoteleros, sus reservas rozan el lleno para uno de los fines de semana de mayor atención para el público de golf, con el Open de España.

Una primavera que arranca con mucha fuerza en Sotogrande y se palpa en las demandas turísticas tanto del sector hotelero, en grandes localizaciones, como en los puntos de menor número de camas y viviendas y apartamentos de alquiler que también suman una cuota importante de visitantes. Un inicio prometedor en Sotogrande para un calendario de eventos de consideración que animan el sector turístico y de servicios en la zona.

The holiday period, despite being early on the calendar, sees tourism occupancy rates of close to 70%.

Visitors were an even mix of Spanish nationals and foreigners.

The occupancy level increases as the season progresses.

The Spanish Golf Open, at Real Club Valderrama, will see “no vacancies” signs go up in the area.

In 2016, extraordinarily, Holy Week has not been the central focus of tourism activity during spring. Quite the opposite, it marks the beginning of a period of very high expectation for the tourism and services sectors in Sotogrande as well as its entire area of influence. The earliness (midway through March) of Holy Week in Sotogrande as a result of the capricious lunar year made it the starting point for a promising spring in terms of tourism and business.

With average overall occupancy levels of close to, or even slightly higher than 70%, Holy Week was almost at the same levels at last year. However, there was the feeling among professionals in the hotel sector that they were beginning a very positive period for the area.

Holy Week itself, the imminent Spanish Golf Open that is taking place at Real Club Valderrama and which has completely filled occupancy levels at the hotel complexes in the area, accompanied with different international events this spring in the polo and sailing worlds, mean that Sotogrande is on the cusp of one of the most promising pre-summer seasons of the last few years.

Specifically, this overall occu-

pancy figure of 70% during Holy Week is an average figure, as it increased notably as the week progressed and came close to full occupancy in the area’s hotels during the “long bank holiday weekend”, Visitors, as is normal during this time of year, were split practically evenly between foreigners and Spanish nationals.

In the case of Hotel Almenara, the average was somewhere between 70% and 80% occupancy, and it reached 100% during the last stage of the week. Golf, with a significant number of people on courses, also contributed to the positive figures for the start of the spring season. In this case, the tourist profile was predominantly foreign, with mainly Swiss, Germans and British tourists.

In this regard, we should also highlight the full occupancy ahead of the weekend of the celebration of the Real Club Valderrama Spanish Open – Sergio García Foundation which will attract lots of fans and golf lovers.

In the same regard, Hotel Sotogrande, which opened its doors on 1 April, also gradually increased its occupancy level, and also reached a high level of bookings ahead of the weekend of

15 to 17 April.

In turn, the Hotel Club Marítimo in Sotogrande, which opened for the season on 13 March, also reached an 85% average occupancy level during Holy Week. They have had the “full” sign up over the last few weeks, ahead of the week of the Spanish Golf Open. This iconic hotel has very regular clients who come back year after year around the same time of year.

This is a promising start in Sotogrande for a schedule of significant events that will encourage the tourism and service sector in the area.

El Ayuntamiento ha adjudicado a la empresa Manuel Alba SA la obra de urbanización exterior del Polideportivo de Pueblo Nuevo por importe de 205.000 euros más IVA. Los trabajos comenzarán en próximos días, y el periodo de ejecución se ha fijado en seis meses.

El alcalde, Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, explicó que “con estas obras se dará respuesta a una necesidad de los vecinos del Valle del Guadiaro, que desde hace meses acceden a las instalaciones del pabellón cubierto en unas condiciones que no son las adecuadas.

Recordar que la obra del polideportivo y su acondicionamiento interior supuso una inversión municipal de 1,3 millones de euros, a los que hay que sumar ahora estos más de 200.000 euros para su urbanización exterior”.

Por su parte, el teniente de alcalde delegado del Valle del Guadiaro y de Contratación, Óscar Ledesma, manifestó que “el proceso de licitación ha sido más complicado de lo previsto porque concurrieron al mismo 45 empresas y hubo que estudiar con detenimiento la documentación presentada. Este elevado

número de ofertas dice mucho de la confianza que tienen depositada las empresas constructoras en el Ayuntamiento de San Roque, considerado un excelente pagador. Esperamos que las obras comiencen en breve plazo, una vez pasadas las fiestas de Semana Santa”.

Las obras contemplan la habilitación de una zona peatonal alrededor del edificio existente, un vial de acceso y una zona de aparcamientos. También se instalará una nueva red de pluviales y se conectará con la red de fecales y pluviales existentes.

Asimismo, se actuará en una red de baja tensón, en la instalación

de alumbrado público y de hidrantes contraincendios. Finalmente, se instalarán mobiliario urbano y señalizaciones.

La Mesa de Contratación acordó adjudicar la obra “Urbanización de la Zona Exterior del Polideportivo de Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro” a a la empresa Manuel Alba SA por importe de 205.000 euros más IVA, siendo ésta la mejor de las 45 ofertas analizadas. El plazo de ejecución es de seis meses, por lo que se espera que los trabajos estén concluidos a principios de otoño. El Polideportivo de Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro se inauguró en julio del año pasado.

The Contract Awarding Committee agreed to award the contract for the “Urbanization of the Outside of the Sports Centre in Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro” to the company Manuel Alba SA for a total of 205,000 euros plus VAT, which was the best of the 45 offers analysed. The work will be carried out over a period of six months. Therefore, the work is scheduled to be completed by the start of autumn. The Sports Centre in Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro was opened in July last year.

Through Amdel, the Council of San Roque has requested a grant amounting to 645,000 euros in order to start up the Plan for Under-30s (Menos30) or Emple@Joven (Youth Employment). It is aimed at contracting 80 young people under the age of 30 for a period of six months.

It is an essential requirement to have registered in the Guarantee Plan for Young People (Plan de Garantía Juvenil), a process that is facilitated to those interested through the Amdel Work Club, located in the Diego Salinas Building.

This program is part of Law 2/2015 of “urgent measures to encourage people into work, employment stability, the return of talent and encouraging freelancing work”, it belongs to the Social and Community

Se pretende la contratación de 80 menores de 30 años por un periodo de seis meses. Este programa se enmarca en la Ley 2/2015 de “medidas urgentes para favorecer la inserción laboral, la estabilidad en el empleo, el retorno del talento y el fomento del trabajo autónomo”, pertenece a la medida de Coo-

peración Social y Comunitaria, y está financiado por la Junta de Andalucía y por el Fondo Social Europeo, procedente del Programa operativo FSE Andalucía 2014-2020 y del Programa Operativo de Empleo Juvenil.

“Estos ochenta contratos por un periodo de seis meses –explicó Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, alcalde de San Roque- permitirá que algunos de estos jóvenes

obtengan su primera experiencia profesional, mientras que otros que llevan mucho tiempo en situación de desempleo podrán contar con unos recursos económicos muy necesarios.

Para ello el joven tendrá que estar inscrito en el INEM, dado de alta como desempleado, y que se inscriba también en el programa de garantía como solicitante de este plan.

Los paraísos fiscales, de nuevo No es la primera vez que hablo en esta columna de los llamados paraísos fiscales y de la hipocresía con la que tratan los gobiernos estos asuntos.

Sin embargo, con la aparición de los llamados “papeles de Panamá” me veo obligado a repetir algunas de las obser1 Luis Babiano vaciones y comentarios Abogados / Lawyers realizados en artículos Sotogrande anteriores.

Como ya he comentado anteriormente la lista de paraísos fiscales viene establecida en el Real Decreto 180/1991 de 5 de julio renumerada por el Real Decreto 116/2003 de 31 de enero. En el número seis de esta lista consta la República de Chipre y en el número 22 la de Malta.

Es curioso que en la lista aparezca Malta cuando pertenece a la Unión Europea desde el año 2004 y que aparezca también la República de Panamá en el lugar 45 cuando existe un convenio para evitar la doble imposición y prevenir la evasión fiscal de fecha 7 de octubre de 2010; lo que significa que las autoridades fiscales no se toman muy en serio la actualización de esta relación. De todas maneras, después de la publicación del Real Decreto 116/2003 la relación se debería de actualizar reglamentariamente siempre que hubiera un convenio para evitar la doble imposición con cláusula de intercambio de información.

Más claro a estos efectos es el Decreto Foral 188/2003 de 7 de octubre de la Diputación Foral de Vizcaya que ha eliminado de su lista particular de paraísos fiscales (copiada por otra parte de la del Estado) a las Repúblicas de Chipre y Malta manteniendo, al igual que la legislación estatal, a la República de Panamá.

Pero efectuada esta introducción, lo realmente grave es comprobar que todo país occi-dental tiene su propio paraíso fiscal hasta llegar al colmo de la más grande de las hipo-cresías: el mejor, más grande y más seguro paraíso fiscal del mundo se encuentra en los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica en los que estados como Delaware, Nevada, Wyoming o Dakota del Sur ofrecen a las grandes fortunas del mundo un refugio seguro con tal de que no sean residentes fiscales en el país americano.

Lo paradójico del caso es que todas las normas anti blanqueo que estamos conociendo y sufriendo en Europa han sido prácticamente “impuestas” por las autoridades norteame-ricanas de tal manera que los Estados Unidos tienen conocimiento de cuantas operacio-nes realizan sus ciudadanos o residentes en Europa pero, sin embargo, no existe la misma reciprocidad. Como ejemplo, el gobierno norteamericano aprobó una ley denominada FATCA que obliga a las entidades financieras a notificar las cuentas de sus ciudadanos depositadas en el extranjero y que fija fuertes multas en caso de incumplimiento. En esta misma línea, la OCDE elaboró unas normas incluso más severas para descubrir a los evasores fiscales y acordó aumentar medidas de control y transparencia para las cuentas bancarias depositadas en el exterior. ¿Saben qué países o territorios no han suscrito estas normas de la OCDE? Pues Bahréin, Nauru, Vanuatu y Estados Unidos.

La conclusión es clara: Estados Unidos obliga a todos los países del mundo a darle in-formación sobre las cuentas de sus ciudadanos depositados en el extranjero pero se exime de dar información a los otros Estados sobre las cuentas de sus ciudadanos depositadas en Estados Unidos. La situación es tal que se está produciendo un flujo importantísimo de capitales desde los bancos suizos (refugio tradicional del dinero de los ricos) hacia estos Estados de Norteamérica.

Aparte de este ejemplo, el Reino Unido tiene bajo su control la mayor red de paraísos fiscales al igual que Holanda. Debido a su peculiar tributación, Austria podría también consi-

derarse un paraíso fiscal en determinados aspectos. ¿Y qué decir de Irlanda? Por su parte, Alemania está en la novena posición del ranking mundial del secreto financiero pues protege los datos de los inversores extranjeros, los cuales no tienen que pagar im-puestos sobre los intereses.

Y para terminar ¿qué me dicen de España? Pues que tenemos también unos cuantos paraísos fiscales dentro de nuestro territorio nacional. No se puede calificar de otro mo-do la Hacienda Foral vasca o la navarra (que paradójicamente tiene su propio listado de paraísos fiscales como hemos visto anteriormente). En el mismo saco podemos meter a las Islas Canarias, Ceuta y Melilla con sus regímenes fiscales tan especiales y tan favo-rables para los allí residentes. Fuera de estos territorios también existen diferencias tri-butarias entre las distintas autonomías de tal manera que un catalán o un andaluz paga más impuestos que un madrileño. Y eso sin hablar del impuesto de sucesiones práctica-mente inexistente en algunas regiones. ¿Cómo podemos pues escandalizarnos con los llamados papeles de Panamá? Precisa-mente Panamá está en el catorceavo puesto de la lista de paraísos fiscales elaborado según la metodología de “The Tax Justice Network” por detrás de Estados Unidos (sex-to lugar), Japón (octavo lugar), Alemania (noveno lugar) y Reino Unido (treceavo lugar). Sin embargo no está en la lista de paraísos fiscales elaborada por las autoridades españolas y ¿saben por qué? Pues porque las autoridades panameñas aplican el principio de reciprocidad de tal manera que consideran paraísos fiscales a aquellos países que les consideran a ellos como tales y según su legislación nacional los residentes en paraísos fiscales no pueden contratar obra pública. Esto era un problema enorme para las empre-sas españolas que querían licitar para las obras del canal. El único hueco legal que se encontró fue la de la firma del convenio al que ya nos hemos referido. Por tanto, una vez más los grandes principios son sacrificados en aras del vil metal. ¿Por qué pues nos rasgamos las vestiduras con los llamados papeles de Panamá?

Tax Paradises Yet Again This is not the first time that I have spoken in this column about the so-called tax para-dises and the hypocritical way governments deal with this issue. However, with the emergence of the “Panama Papers”, I find myself forced to repeat some of the observa-tions and comments made in earlier articles.

As I have mentioned previously, the list of tax paradises is established in Royal Decree 180/1991 of 5 July, renumbered by Royal Decree 116/2003 of 31 January. At number six on the list is the Republic of Cyprus and at number 22 is Malta.

It is strange that Malta appears on the list when it has belonged to the European Union since 2004, and also that the Republic of Panama Republic features at number 45 when there is an agreement to avoid double taxation and prevent tax evasion, dated 7 October 2010; this means that tax authorities do not take the updating of this list very seriously. In any case, following the publication of Royal Decree 116/2003 the list should be up-dated legally whenever there is an agreement to avoid double taxation with an exchange of information clause.

Clearer in this regard, is the Foral Decree 188/2003 of 7 October of the Regional Gov-ernment of Biscay which has eliminated from its list of tax paradises (otherwise copied from that of the State), the Republic of Cyprus and Malta, while maintaining, just like state legislation, the Republic of Panama.

However, having made this introduction, what is really serious is seeing that every Western country has their own tax paradise to the point of absolute hypocrisy; the best, largest and most secure tax paradise in the world is in the United States of America, where states such as Delaware, Nevada, Wyoming and South Dakota offer the world’s

great fortunes a safe refuge provided that they are not tax residents in the United States.

What is paradoxical about this case is that all of the anti-laundering regulations that we are discovering and undergoing in Europe, have practically been “imposed” by North American authorities in such a way that the United States are aware of all the operations their citizens or European residents carry out, however, the same reciprocity.

For exam-ple, the American government approved a law named FATCA which requires banks to provide information about the accounts of their fellow countrymen that are deposited abroad and establishes heavy fines for failure to do so. Along these same lines, the OECD created some guidelines that were even stricter in order to discover tax avoiders and it agreed to increase control measures and transparency for bank accounts held abroad. Do you know which countries or territories have not signed up to these OECD regulations? Well, Bahrain, Nauru, Vanuatu and the United States.

The conclusion is clear: the United States force every country in the world to provide it with information about the accounts of its citizens deposited abroad but it exempts itself from the responsibility of giving information to other states about the accounts of their citizens held in the United States. The situation is such that there is an extremely significant cash flow going from Swiss Banks (the traditional refuge for the money of the rich) towards the United States of America.

Apart from this example, the United Kingdom has the largest network of tax paradises under its control, just like Holland. Due to its peculiar tax system, Austria could also be deemed to be a tax paradise from a certain perspective. And what can we say about Ire-land? In turn, Germany ranks

ninth in the world of secret finances as it protects the data of secret investors, who do not need to pay taxes on interest.

Lastly, what about Spain? Well, we also have some tax paradises within our national territory. There is no other way of looking at the Regional Tax Authorities of the Basque Country or Navarre (which paradoxically has its own list of tax paradises as we mentioned previously). We can put the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla into the same category, in view of their tax regimes that are so special and so favourable for those that live there. Outside of these territories there are also tax differences between the different autonomous regions in such a way that a Catalan or an Andalusian pays more taxes than someone in Madrid.

This is without even mentioning the inheritance tax which is practi-cally inexistent in some regions.

How then can we be so scandalised with the so-called Panama Papers? Precisely, be-cause Panama is in fourteenth position on the list created according to the method of The Tax Justice Network, behind the United States (sixth place), Japan (eighth place), Germany (ninth place) and the United Kingdom (thirteenth place). However, it is not on the list of tax paradises created by the Spanish authorities and do you know why? Be-cause, the Panamanian authorities apply the principle of reciprocity in such a way that they consider countries to be tax paradises if that is how the other countries view them, and according to their national legislation residents in tax paradises cannot procure pub-lic works.

This was an enormous problem for the Spanish companies that wanted to participate in the tender for the canal works.

The only legal loophole they found was signing the agreement we have mentioned above. Therefore, once again, great principles were sacrificed in pursuit of gold.

Creo que es importante valorar el esfuerzo del Circuito Europeo, la Fundación Sergio García, la Federación Española y los distintos patrocinadores para que este torneo se haya podido llevar a cabo. La promoción de San Roque y Andalucía como destinos de golf es fundamental y la exposición de un campo con fama mundial como Valderrama en las televisiones de todo el mundo aporta gran valor y riqueza a nuestro destino. No debemos olvidar el gran impacto que tuvo

Real Club Valderrama Open de España – Fundación Sergio García. Ni una letra más, ni una menos. Así reza el regreso del Tour Europeo de Golf a Sotogrande, concretamente a Valderrama, tras varios años, con un torneo lleno de atractivos y alicientes que lo convierten en una de las grandes citas de la temporada. Por un lado, la asistencia de varios jugadores muy seguidos por los amantes de este deporte; y por otro, cualquier cosa que suene o involucre a Valderrama en el mundo del golf lo dota de una personalidad única e inigualable. Con todos estos ingredientes se presenta uno de los Open de España que más expectativas ha creado en los últimos años.

Una suma de ingredientes que deparará un emocionantísimo torneo, desde el 14 al 17 de abril en el mítico trazado de Valderrama en el que tantas gestas de este deporte se vivieron en los años noventa y durante la primera década del nuevo milenio. Supone el regreso a este imponente trazado del Tour Europeo desde la celebración del Andalucía Masters, en el año 2011, que

precisamente ganase el que hoy es su anfitrión, Sergio García. “Es mi campo preferido, no hay otro igual”, detalló el magnífico golfista.

En esta ocasión, Real Club Valderrama, Tour Europeo, Real Federación Española de Golf y Sergio García, haciendo las veces de anfitrión a través de su fundación, s se han unido dando lugar a una ‘suma perfecta’ que

convertirá de nuevo a Sotogrande en el centro de todas las miradas del mundo del golf. La bolsa de premios asciende a un total de dos millones de euros.

Mejoras en el campo El pasado verano se inauguró la zona de prácticas de juego corto. El diseño de esta nueva zona de prácticas es de Kyle Phillips, dis-

cípulo de Robert Trent Jones, autor del recorrido.

De igual modo, los participantes apreciarán las mejoras efectuadas en bunkers y tees. Los bunkers han sido completamente renovados con el objetivo de presentar el mismo nivel de exigencia y calidad que los greenes y calles; los tees, sin variar su ubicación, se han orientado y nivelado, y se han sembra-

do con la misma variedad de hierba Agrostis utilizada en los greenes.

Otra de las novedades introducidas en los últimos años es la poda de muchos alcornoques del campo, lo que ha mejorado la “jugabilidad” del mismo y permitirá a los jugadores intentar golpes arriesgados desde el rough, lo que redundará en un mayor espectáculo. También

se ha instalado también un nuevo sistema de riego que refleja su firme apuesta por la sostenibilidad medioambiental Presentación del Torneo El presidente de Valderrama, Nuno Pereira, resaltó el gran honor que supone traer de nuevo un gran evento al campo, “el Open de España era el torneo que nos faltaba”. “Valderrama sin torneo no es Valderrama. Ángel Gallardo, vicepresidente del Tour Europeo, agradeció el gran esfuerzo de todas las partes implicadas en la organización y aseguró un “rotundo éxito”.

Por su parte, Consuelo Fernández, madre del golfista Sergio García (anfitrión de la cita) y vicepresidenta de la Fundación que lleva el nombre de su hijo, se mostró entusiasmada antes del comienzo de la prueba y anotó que todos los beneficios irán destinados “a unos pisos que se van a construir para los niños y sus familias que tienen que desplazarse de ciudad para recibir tratamiento contra el cáncer”.

Gonzaga Escauriaza, presidente de la Federación Española de Golf, habló de la gran fusión “de ingredientes para celebrar un torneo “impresionante”. También presente, la directora general de Deportes de la Junta de Andalucía, la exdeportista María José Rienda, se refirió a todos los valores que supone para esta región el

golf, uno de sus grandes exponentes. Cerró el turno de intervenciones Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, alcalde de San Roque, elogiando la gran labor de Valderrama y de todo su equipo para presentar “el mejor campo de Europa” para el Open de España y asegurando un gran éxito a todos los niveles.

Acesso y entrada Cualquier federado, con licencia de golf de la Real Federación Española de Golf , podrá acceder de forma gratuita para presenciar el Real

Club Valderrama Open de España – Fundación Sergio García. La forma de conseguir las entradas es a través de la plataforma digital del European Tour donde los federados españoles deben registrarse previamente para acreditar su condición de federados.

Por su parte, para aquellos que no sean federados de golf, el pase semanal (miércoles a domingo) tiene un coste de 54,40 euros, mientras que el pase diario para las jornadas de jueves a domingo asciende a 18,20 euros.

 FUNDACIÓN SERGIO GARCÍA La Fundación Sergio García se centra en la integración social de los niños y jóvenes más desfavorecidos por medio de la asistencia social y las actividades extraescolares vinculadas al deporte. Siendo el golf, uno de sus grandes motores.

Creada en 2002, la Fundación está liderada por el golfista Sergio García. Su madre, Consuelo Fernández (presente en el torneo), es la vicepresidenta. La entidad promueve el golf adaptado por toda España y más de mil jóvenes han tenido accesos a estos cursos.

La Fundación también ofrece cursos de entrenamiento dirigidos por el americano, especialista en golf adaptado, Peter Longo, con el objetivo de enseñar a los profesionales españoles las mejores técnicas para trabajar con niños con discapacidad y que estos disfruten del golf. En la actualidad, más de 400 profesionales han recibido esta formación.

“No me puedo sentir más orgulloso de la fundación. Para nosotros, como jugadores, es importante poder hacer cosas así. Es maravilloso poder contribuir también al Open de España. Cuánta más gente colabore, mejor, ese será mi mejor golpe”, subrayó Sergio García.

 SERGIO GARCÍA FOUNDATION The Sergio García Foundation is focused on the social integration of the most underprivileged children through social assistance and extracurricular activities linked to sport. Golf is one of its driving forces.

Created in 2002, the Foundation is led by the golfer Sergio García. His mother, Consuelo Fernández (attending the tournament), is the vice-president. The entity promotes adapted golf throughout Spain and more than one thousand young people have had access to these courses.

The Foundation also offers training courses led by the American, Peter Longo, a specialist in adapted golf. They are aimed at teaching Spanish professionals the best techniques for working with disabled children and encouraging them to enjoy golf. At present, more than 400 professionals have received this training.

“I could not be any prouder of this foundation. For us, as players, it is important to be able to do things like that.

It is marvellous to be able to contribute to the Spanish Open. The more people that collaborate, the better; that will be my best shot”, emphasised Sergio García.

Gonzaga Escauriaza, president of the Spanish Golf Federation spoke about the great mixture “of ingredients for hosting an impressive tournament”. Also in attendance was the director general of Sports for the Regional Government of Andalucía, the former sports woman, María José Rienda. She referred to the many assets that golf brings to this region, and how this is one of the major exponents of golf. The last person to speak was Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, mayor of San Roque. He praised the great work of Valderrama and of all their team in presenting “the best course in Europe” for the Spanish Open and assured that it would be a great success on every level.

Access and entry Any federated player, with a license from the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, can access for free in order to watch the Real Club Valderrama Spanish Open – Sergio García Foundation. Tickets can be obtained through the digital platform of the European Tour where Spanish federated players must register in advance in order to accredit their status as federated players.

In turn, for those that are not federated golf players, the weekly pass (Wednesday to Sunday) costs 54.40 euros, while the daily pass from Thursday to Sunday rises to 18.20 euros.

Victor Dubuisson, Andy Sullivan and Søren Kjeldsen have also not wanted to miss the return of this San Roque course to the European Tour.

German Martin Kaymer is one of the major attractions for those coming to the Open de España at Real Club Valderrama, with Sergio García as host.

Kaymer has won 11 titles on the European Tour.

Other players ranked among the world top fifty who have confirmed their presence at Real Club Valderrama, in addition to Kaymer, are the English Andy Sullivan and Chris Wood, French Victor Dubuisson and Danish Søren Kjeldsen, winner of the Volvo Masters 2008 and the Open de Andalucía 2009 here in Spain, as well as the Diageo Championship at Gleneagles 2003 and the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open hosted by the Rory Foundation 2015.

Defending his title is the English James Morrison, last year’s winner at the R.C.G. El Prat.

With him will be his compatriot Ross Fisher, who has five wins under his belt on the European Tour, including one from Finca Cortesín at the Volvo World

El Real Club Valderrama Open de España – Fundación Sergio García se convirtió en el primer escenario en el que el Tour Europeo llevó a cabo un nuevo formato de Por-

Am en la jornada previa al inicio de la competición profesional.

Este formato sustenta que en cada equipo, formado por tres amateurs, competirán dos jugadores

profesionales, los cuales disputaron nueve hoyos por integrante.

Este nuevo modelo persigue una mayor interacción de los equipos en el campo y un mayor disfrute

para todos los participantes. Ya que durante la misma partida, los asistentes pudieron disfrutar de el juego en compañía de dos golfistas profesionales.

Como es habitual en estos prólogos, un alto número de personalidades de la vida social y del mundo del golf se dejaron ver por Valderrama en la jornada previa al torneo.

“Compartir la Ryder Cup en Valderrama junto a Seve fue algo muy especial” Jefa de protocolo de campos y responsable de comunicación del Circuito Europeo en España, María Acacia López-Bachiller es toda una institución en el mundo del golf. Un respeto ganado a golpe de trabajo bien hecho durante toda una vida dedicada a este deporte. Aprovechamos su visita a Sotogrande para charlar con ella y conocer, un poco más, a una de las personas más queridas del golf: ✑ Mayte Solán

¿Cómo empezó tu ‘romance’ con el mundo del golf?

Por casualidad, como tantas cosas que suceden en la vida. Estudiaba Relaciones Públicas, y un compañero, que trabajaba de becario en la oficina que La Manga Club había abierto en Madrid, llegó un día a clase buscando seis chicas que hablasen idiomas para un torneo de golf. Allá que fuimos sin tener ni idea de lo que era este deporte. Fue en octubre de 1973, hace 42 años y aquí sigo a los 61. Se trataba de un Pro-Am organizado por todo lo alto por Mark Mc Cormack: fletaban un vuelo de Estados Unidos a Murcia con personajes conocidos y los mejores profesionales. Conocí a Ángel Gallardo, Manolo Piñero, Valentín Barrios, Antonio Garrido, José Mª Cañizares, Víctor y Consuelo, los padres de Sergio García, que eran novios…, y nos hicimos muy amigos.

En abril de 1974 nos volvieron a llamar para el Open de España.

Manolo Ballesteros llegó acompañado y me dijo: “este chavalín es mi hermano, cuídalo y estate atenta, porque será un gran jugador”.

Seve tenía 17 años y yo 19.

Las seis amigas nos encargábamos de todo: registro de jugadores, prensa, traducciones, clasificaciones, horarios…; ¡a máquina y con papel calco!

¿Cómo logró una chica en los setenta hacerse un respetado hueco en un mundo mayoritariamente masculino como era el del golf?

Creo que se debió, en gran parte, a mi amistad con los jugadores españoles, que siempre me han tratado como una más, y a que tuve la suerte de empezar en este mundo a la vez que Seve.

En el archivo gráfico histórico de Sotogrande, del que Grupo HCP es propietario, apareces desde, casi, los primeros instantes ¿Qué te trajo hasta la urbanización?

En La Manga Club conocí a dos personas esenciales en mi carrera. En 1977, Frank Breyner, director de una agencia de viajes británica pionera en desplazar a los jugadores por Europa, me contrató para encargarme de vuelos, reservas de hotel, transfers… en todos los torneos del Tour, que entonces duraba de abril a septiembre. Al poco tiempo, Ward Wallace dejaba La Manga para volver a Sotogrande, donde había estado anteriormente, y me pidió que viniera para ocuparme de las relaciones públicas. Viajar es mi pasión; me encantaba el trabajo con la agencia británica, así que propuse a Ward venirme a Sotogrande de septiembre a abril.

Tengo entendido, que durante un tiempo, trabajaste, incluso, para el fundador de Sotogrande, el señor Mc Micking?

Era un señor en el más amplio sentido de la palabra; él y su mujer, Mercedes Zobel, fueron encantadores conmigo. Yo trabajaba directamente con Ward Wallace, Joe Olbés, Alfredo Melián y Richard Denman. ¿Qué recuerdos guardas de aquellos tiempos?

Maravillosos. Del 77 al 80 compaginé ambos trabajos y fueron unos años inolvidables. Durante los meses de invierno venían a entrenar a Sotogrande los equipos de Irlanda, Alemania, Inglaterra, Suecia… Richard Denman, director de deportes, y yo, organizábamos su programa y, también, los llevábamos de juerga.

Así ,conocí a Bernhard Langer, Ronan Rafferty o Philip Walton, que llegarían a jugar la Ryder Cup, y que, para mí, nunca fueron “estrellas”.

Copas de Jerez, Volvos y hasta una Ryder Cup...; ¿Qué capítulo relacionado con el golf rememoras con más cariño de los vividos en Sotogrande?

De todos guardo entrañables recuerdos, han sido muchos tor-

neos: tres Copas Jerez, 16 Volvo Masters, dos American Express, dos Andalucía Masters, un Campeonato de España que ganó Seve en el 87 y la Ryder Cup. Con tu gran amigo Seve también habrás vivido buenos episodios en Sotogrande..., ¿nos cuentas alguno?

A Seve, Manolo Piñero y Antonio Garrido los invité yo a entrenar en Sotogrande en el 78, justo antes del Masters; jugaban un día en Las Aves (ahora RC Valderrama) y al siguiente en el RC de Sotogrande. Era Semana Santa y también vinieron mis amigas, con quienes fui a La Manga Club en el 73, y lo pasamos muy bien.

Compartir la Ryder Cup 97 junto a Seve fue muy especial. Él siempre decía que aquella fue la semana más intensa de su carrera, y con su misma intensidad nos la hizo vivir a todos. Fue muy emocionante. En la Ryder, Seve era más Seve que nunca.

Jamás olvidaré un viaje que hicimos los dos en helicóptero del Algarve a Valderrama en abril del 97. Fue increíble.

Volamos por toda la costa, el Coto de Doñana y las desembocaduras del Guadiana y el Guadalquivir. Antes de aterrizar, junto al campo de prácti-

cas de Valderrama, sobrevolamos todo Sotogrande. Un viaje maravilloso.

Sabemos que tú no juegas al golf, pero, ¿en qué campo de Sotogrande tirarías unas bolas?

Yo no juego, pero me pateo los campos de medio mundo junto a mi marido e hijos, me encanta hacer los 18 hoyos con ellos.

“Hemos jugado” en el RC Valderrama, RG de Sotogrande, La Reserva y Almenara. ¿Cuál es tu rincón favorito de la urbanización (sin ser de golf)?

Me gusta mucho el Puerto, cada vez que venimos a un torneo solemos ir a tomar algo.

Para acabar, ¿qué sensaciones tienes de la vuelta del Circuito Europeo a Valderrama con el Open de España y de la apuesta de Sergio García por hacerlo realidad?

El día que me enteré me llevé una enorme alegría. Me siento muy orgullosa de lo que España y los jugadores españoles han aportado al Tour Europeo. Nuestro Open no podía desaparecer, así que no puedo estar más agradecida a todos los que lo han hecho posible, ¡y en Valderrama!

“Sharing the Ryder Cup at Valderrama alongside Seve was really special” Head of course protocol and in charge of communication for the European Circuit in Spain, María Acacia López Bachiller is a real institution in the golfing world. She has earned this respect through good work undertaken during an entire life dedicated to this sport. We made the most of her visit to Sotogrande in order to talk to her and find out a little bit more about one of the most beloved people in golf: How did you first fall in love with the world of golf?

It was a coincidence, like so many other things in life. I was studying Public Relations when one day a friend who was working as an intern in the office that La Manga Club had opened in Madrid, came to class looking for six girls that spoke languages, for a golf tournament. Off we went with no idea about the sport. That was in October 1973, 42 years ago and I am still here aged 61. It was the Pro-Am organised in real style by Mark McCormack, they chartered a flight from the United States to Murcia with well-known figures and the best professionals. I met Ángel Gallardo, Manolo Piñero, Valentín Barrios, Antonio Garrido, José María Cañizares, Víctor and Consuelo, the parents of Sergio García who were engaged… and we became really good friends.

In April 1974 they called us again for the Spanish Open.

Manolo Ballesteros arrived with someone and said: “This guy is my brother, look after him and keep an eye out because he will be a great player”. Seve was 17 years old and I was 19.

The six friends, we took care of everything: registering players, press, translations, rankings, timetables…. On a typewriter and with tracing paper!

In the seventies, how did a girl manage to earn herself a respected place in a world that was mainly dominated by men, which was the case with golf?

I think that it was largely due to my friendship with the Spanish players, who always just treated me as part of the family, and I was lucky to begin in this world at the same time as Seve.

In the Sotogrande historic picture archive, which is owned by Grupo HCP, you appear almost from the outset. What brought you to the resort?

At La Manga Club I met two people that were essential in my career. First, in 1977 I met Frank Breyner, the director of a pioneering British travel agency that specialised in getting players around Europe. He hired

me to look after flights, hotel bookings, transfers… at all of the Tour tournaments, which lasted then from April to September. It was not long before Ward Wallace left La Manga and returned to Sotogrande, where he had been before. He asked me to come and look after public relations. Travelling is my passion; I loved the work with the British agency so I suggested to Ward coming to Sotogrande from September to April.

I understand that for a while you even worked for the founder of Sotogrande, Mr Mc Micking?

He was a gentleman in the true sense of the work; he and his wife, Mercedes Zobel, were delightful with me. I worked directly with Ward Wallace, Joe Olbés, Alfredo Melián and Richard Denman.

What memories do you have of that period?

Marvellous ones. From ’77 to ’80 I alternated between the jobs and those were unforgettable years.

During the winter months, the Irish, German, English and Swedish sides would come and train in Sotogrande… Richard Denman, director of sports and I, organised their program and we also took them out at night. That is how I met Bernhard Langer, Ronan Rafferty and Philip Walton, who would go on to play in the Ryder Cup, and I never saw them as “stars”.

and even a Ryder Cup...; Which chapter linked to golf do you look back on most fondly among those that you experienced in Sotogrande?

I have fond memories of all of them, there have been a lot of tournaments: three Sherry Cups, 16 Volvo Masters, two American Express Championships, two Andalucía Masters, a Spanish Championship that Seve won in ’87 and the Ryder Cup. You must have also enjoyed some good times in Sotogrande with your great friend Seve…, can you tell us about any of them?

I invited Seve, Manolo Piñero and Antonio Garrido to train in Sotogrande in ’78, just before the Masters; they played one day at Las Aves (now Real Club Valderrama) and the next at Real Club de Sotogrande. It was Holy Week, and my friends also came, the ones that I went to La Manga Club with in ’73, and we had a great time.

Sharing the Ryder Cup in ’97 alongside Seve was very special.

He always said that it was the most intense week of his career, and he made all of us experience it with that same intensity. It was really exciting. At the Ryder Cup, Seve was more Seve than ever.

I will never forget the helicopter trip that the two of us took from the Algarve to Valderrama in April ‘97. It was incredible.

We flew down the entire coast,

the Coto Doñana National Park and the mouths of the Guadiana and the Guadalquivir rivers. Before landing next to the practice course at Valderrama, we flew over all of Sotogrande. It was a marvellous trip.

We know that you do not play golf, but which course in Sotogrande would you go out and hit a few balls on?

I do not play but I have walked up and down courses all over the world with my husband and children, I love doing the 18 holes with them. We have “played” at the RC Valderrama, RG de Sotogrande, La Reserva and Almenara.

What is your favourite place in the resort (not related to golf)?

I really like the Port, each time that we come to a tournament we usually go and have a drink there.

Lastly, what do you feel about the return of the European Circuit to Valderrama with the Spanish Open and Sergio García’s commitment to make it happen?

I was really delighted the day I found out. I feel very proud about what Spain and the Spanish players have contributed to the European Tour. We could not allow our Open to disappear, so I could not be any more grateful to everyone that has made it happen, and it is at Valderrama too!

Real Club Valderrama ha sido escenario a lo largo de las últimas décadas de importantes eventos de gran nivel en el escaparate internacional del golf. Con una trayectoria impresionante, propia de uno de los mejores campos del mundo, este abril acoge el Open de España, una de las ‘espinitas’ pendientes que tenía el club con el golf nacional.

Valderrama acogió el Volvo

Masters, uno de las citas de referencia en el mundo del golf, desde el año 1988 hasta 1996; y recuperó de nuevo este torneo entre los años 2002 y 2008.

Esos años de paréntesis entre los Volvo Masters se celebraron dos Campeonatos del Mundo los años 1999 y 2000. El Andalucía Masters, celebrado en los años 2010 y 2011, se convirtió en la última cita del Circuito Euro-

peo de Golf que acogió el Real Club Valderrama, precisamente lo ganó Sergio García, actual anfitrión del Open de España.

Y como mención especial, que llevó hasta la excelencia y al máximo exponente la repercusión de Valderrama en el escaparate internacional, en 1997 acogió la Ryder Cup, con nombres míticos como Olazábal o Severiano Ballesteros.

Valderrama hosted the Volvo Masters, one of the major events in the golfing world, from 1988 to 1996; and regained the tournament between the years 2002 and 2008.

In the years between the Volvo

Masters it hosted two World Championships in 1999 and 2000. The Andalusia Masters, held in 2010 and 2011, became the latest event on the European Tour to be welcomed by Real Club Valderrama, and won by Sergio García, the current host of the Open de España.

And deserving of a special mention, which led to excellence and launching Valderrama onto the international showcase, in 1997 it hosted the Ryder Cup, featuring legendary names such as Olazábal and Severiano Ballesteros.

CEIP Barbésula Múltiples actividades en La Semana del Libro Del 18 al 22 de abril celebramos en nuestro cole la Semana del Libro. Dedicamos toda una semana a dicha celebración a través de diferentes actividades que tienen como finalidad afianzar el gusto por la lectura entre nuestro alumnado.

Como broche final, celebraremos nuestro “III MERCADILLO SOLIDARIO” en el que toda la comunidad educativa intercambiará libros por kilos de comida no perecederos para donarlos a CÁRITAS. Algunas de las actividades son: Lunes 18, Actividad LUDUS: Cuentacuentos.

Campaña de Renta y Patrimonio 2015 El pasado 6 de abril comenzó el plazo para obtener y confirmar el borrador, así como para presentar por internet la declaración anual del Impuesto sobre la Renta de las Personas Físicas (I.R.P.F.) correspondiente al ejercicio 2.015. Para presentar borradores y declaraciones en papel, habrá que esperar al 10 de mayo.

El plazo de presentación de las declaraciones finalizará el próximo día 30 de junio de 2.016, pero aquellas declaraciones para las que se solicite el pago con domiciliación bancaria deberán ser presentadas como muy tarde el día 25 de junio.

Las principales novedades este año son: cambian por completo las tablas de IRPF; se elevan de 11.200 a 12.000 euros los ingresos mínimos para estar exento de hacer la declaración de la renta cuando los ingresos procedan de más de un paga-

dor y además se hayan percibido más de 1.500 euros del segundo y siguientes pagadores; se seguirá tributando por las indemnizaciones por despido, pero sólo cuando superen los 180.000 euros; se suprime la deducción por alquiler de vivienda habitual, aunque podrán seguir aplicándola los inquilinos que firmasen su contrato antes del 1 de enero de 2015; se elimina la reducción general de 2.652 euros, por obtención de rendimientos del trabajo, cualquiera que fuese el rendimiento neto positivo, y cualquiera que fuese la cuantía de otras rentas percibidas, aunque en compensación se establece un nuevo gasto deducible de 2.000 euros en concepto de otros gastos; se suprime la exención por dividendos; el porcentaje reductor de las rentas generadas de forma irregular se rebaja del 40% al 30% con un límite

de 300.000 euros al año; se reduce la aportación máxima a los planes de pensiones a 8.000 euros al año.

Como ya comentamos el año pasado, es muy frecuente que existan errores en los borradores y, aunque Hacienda nos proporcione el borrador para facilitar la tarea de confeccionar y presentar la declaración, los datos contenidos en el mismo no son vinculantes, es decir, que es responsabilidad de cada contribuyente comprobar que la información incluida es correcta y que no falta nada por añadir, por lo que es muy recomendable solicitar los servicios de un profesional para asegurarnos de que la declaración se hace correctamente.

Asimismo, volvemos a recalcar que en nuestro despacho, dada nuestra proximidad con Gibraltar, nos encontramos con multitud de casos en los que personas

residentes en España pero trabajadoras en Gibraltar tienen el equivocado convencimiento de que, dado que ya pagan impuestos allí, no tienen que presentar la declaración de la renta en España o que la presentan, pero sin incluir los rendimientos del trabajo percibidos en este lugar, lo que deriva en inspecciones, con sus correspondientes sanciones, por parte de la Agencia Tributaria.

A este respecto, cabe recordar que los impuestos ya pagados en Gibraltar se van a tener en cuenta en el cálculo de nuestra declaración, pues existe un convenio para evitar la doble imposición internacional, pero estos impuestos deben ser incluidos en una casilla concreta creada para indicar esta especialidad, por lo que es muy aconsejable contratar los servicios de un fis-

calista para asegurarnos de que se hace correctamente.

2015 Income and Assets Campaign 6 April marked the start of the period for obtaining and confirming the draft, as well as submitting by internet the annual Income Tax (IRPF) declaration corresponding to 2015. In order to present drafts and declarations on paper, it will be necessary to wait until 10 May. The period for submitting declarations will conclude on 30 June 2016 however declarations for which direct debit payment has been requested must be presented by the 25 June at the latest The main new features this year are: The income tax (IRPF) scale has completely changed: the minimum earnings to be exempt from having to make the income declaration when the earnings come from more than one payer have

risen from 11,200 to 12,000 euros and also if more than 1,500 euros have been earned from the second and following payers; tax will continue to be paid on compensation for dismissals, however only when it is more than 180,000 euros; the deduction for the rent of the regular residence has been eliminated, although tenants that signed their contract before 1 January 2015 can continue to apply it; the general deduction of 2,652 euros for obtaining earnings from work has been eliminated, regardless of what the overall positive earnings were, and regardless of what the total of other income earned was.

What measures does the company have?

Indeed, for many years Prosegur has had innovative products that have been providing security to houses and residential complexes.

Los ‘Fórmula 1’ del mar se retan en Sotogrande La RC44 Sotogrande World Championship se celebra del próximo 11 al 15 de mayo en aguas de Sotogrande 1 Manuel Gil

Sotogrande se convierte durante este calendario de 2016 en capital internacional de la vela. Un apasionante año en el que las aguas de Sotogrande serán testigo de diferentes competiciones de vela de gran nivel y cuyo inicio no puede tener una cita más prometedora: RC44 Sotogrande World Championship, del 11 al 15 de mayo. Una afamada y reconocida competición en la que toman partido unas imponentes y velocísimas embarcaciones de la clase que da nombre a la cita (RC44). Es la segunda ocasión en la que este circuito internacional toma Sotogrande como sede, la primera fue en 2014. En aquella ocasión se estimó un impacto económico en la zona cercano al millón de euros.

En esta edición, el calendario de pruebas lo componen seis citas, siendo la de Sotogrande la segunda en disputarse. El circuito arrancó en marzo con la Bermuda Cup y tras su paso por el sur de España, los RC44 pasarán por Porstmouth (Reino Unido) y Cascais (Portugal), antes de la cita final en Valletta (Malta), para esta temporada.

Hasta Sotogrande se desplazarán un total de 10 equipos de di-

ferentes nacionalidades, siendo el Península Petroleum Sailing Team (Reino Unido), con John Bassadone al mando, uno de los más conocidos en la zona, ya que Bassadone es un habitual en citas ligadas a la vela en Sotogrande.

El resto: Team Aqua (Reino Unido), ganador de la primera cita del calendario; Team Nika (Rusia), Team Caeeref (Eslovaquia), Katusha (Rusia), Charisma (Mónaco), Bronenosec Sailing Team (Rusia), Artemis Racing Youth (Suecia), Artemis Racing (Suecia) y Aleph Racing (Francia).

La clase RC44 nació en 2007, y el espíritu de estas competición es que los propietarios de los barcos sean a su vez patrones, rodeados de regatistas de gran nivel inter-

nacional. Estos impresionantes barcos están apodados como los ‘Fórmula uno de la vela’; y su moderno sistema de transporte permite llevar el evento a diferentes lugares del mundo. Su formato de competición apuesta por un alto nivel de exigencia.

Existe además una estricta normativa equipara la igualdad de condiciones y cuenta con un programa de Hospitality para tripulaciones e invitados.

Además, estas embarcaciones cuenta con una privilegiada ubicación, dentro de la embarcación, en la que cualquier particular o patrocinador que así lo quiera puede disfrutar desde dentro de la emoción de la competición en una experiencia única.

The 2016 calendar sees Sotogrande become the international capital of sailing. We have an exciting year where the waters of Sotogrande will place host to different top level sailing competitions and the starting event could not be any more promising: the RC44 Sotogrande World Championship, from 11 to 15 May. This is a famous and renowned competition that involves impressive and extremely fast vessels from the class that gives their name to the event (RC44). This is the second time that this international circuit has chosen Sotogrande as its venue, the first was in 2014. On that occasion, the economic impact on the zone was close to one million euros.

This time, the calendar of events is comprised of six heats, with the one in Sotogrande the second to take place. The circuit got underway in March with the Bermuda Cup and following its trip to the south of Spain, for the rest of the season, the RC44 will head to Portsmouth (United Kingdom) and Cascais (Portugal), before the final event in Valletta (Malta).

A total of 10 teams from different countries will travel to Sotogrande, the Península Petroleum Sailing Team (United

Kingdom), skippered by John Bassadone, is one of the most well-known in the area, as Bassadone is a regular in sailing related events in Sotogrande.

These impressive boats are nicknamed the “Formula 1 of sailing”; and their modern sailing system makes it possible to take the event to different areas of the world. The competition format is committed to a high level of demand. There are also strict regulations that make the conditions very fair and there is a hospitality program for crews and guests.

Also, these vessels have a privileged place, right inside the vessel, where any individual or sponsor who wants to, can enjoy the excitement of the competition from inside; a truly unique experience.

Cinco años y cinco campeones españoles. Arrancó la secuencia Gabriel Cañizares allá por el año 2012 y después le siguieron Raúl Quirós, Carlos Rodiles y Jordi García del Moral. Todo producto nacional, todos golfistas que han paseado su juego al más alto nivel en el European Tour. Ese es el siguiente paso que quiere dar Pastor y ya sabe que ha llegado su momento.

Pastor knew that finishing ahead of Quirós would ensure victory and that is how the last tournament went, a real matter of shadowing throughout, to the point that the champion finished just one shot ahead of his fellow competitor. As for the Grand Final, victory was enjoyed by Marcus Gran.

El campo cuenta con un nivel de mantenimiento muy alto.

Durante los últimos años hemos realizado diferentes inversiones para optimizar al máximo el campo y la experiencia del jugador. Hemos realizado diferentes mejoras, implantado nuevas tecnologías de riego, adquirido una nueva flota de mantenimiento y continuaremos en esta línea. También se ha trabajado

mucho en el ‘landscaping’, dando continuidad e integrando el paisaje en el campo. Destacar, por supuesto, la nueva zona de juego corto para socios y clientes. Con un magnífico ‘tee’ que alcanza los 120 metros, un amplio ‘green’ y zona de ‘búnkers’.

Estamos muy contentos con este nuevo espacio.

El campo cuenta con un nivel como muy pocos en la zona…

Es un campo ‘Championship’ y los jugadores encuentran un gran desafío en cada vuelta. Cuidamos todos los detalles y tratamos que sea una experiencia única para el jugador desde que llega hasta que se marcha. Es uno de los grandes sellos de Finca Cortesín.

¿Cuidar la atención hasta el más mínimo detalle es algo imprescindible en Finca Cortesín?

Por supuesto, creo que es uno de los hechos diferenciales respecto a otros campos y resorts.

Trabajamos tanto a nivel golf como hotel, restaurante [Kabuki Raw cuenta con una Estrella Michelín], spa, …, en cuidar todos los detalles para que nuestros socios y clientes sientan que han vivido una experiencia exclusiva y especial. Desde que llega al campo y colocamos su bolsa de palos en el buggy, las bolas en forma piramidal en la calle de prácticas, el aperitivo con fruta en el campo, las toallas, el recibimiento,…todo suma para que cada persona se marche pensando que ha experimentado algo que merece la pena. Y todo ello, con un precio sensato y coherente, acorde con el alto nivel de servicios.

El resort también se encuentra en pleno crecimiento. ¿Qué planes tienen?

Conseguido el objetivo de consolidar nuestro resort a nivel nacional y internacional como uno de los mejores resorts de Europa, consideramos que es el momento

de incorporar nuevos proyectos inmobiliarios. Hemos iniciado dos nuevos proyectos de 16 villas cada uno, GREEN 10 y GOLFSIDE VILLAS. Ambos proyectos están siendo muy bien aceptados por el mercado por sus características arquitectónicas únicas y por los servicios añadidos que sus propietarios podrán disfrutar por estar inserido en nuestro Resort.

Así auguramos un gran futuro para ambos proyectos y para el crecimiento del Resort. ¿Para cuándo un gran torneo en Finca Cortesín?

Creemos que es una cuestión de tiempo. Tras la experiencia del Volvo Master, el club ha seguido atento a nuevos torneos y palpamos que el mercado, en estos momentos, se encuentra más favorable para estos acontecimientos. Pero no tenemos prisa, nuestra intención es traer un gran evento a la altura y características de nuestro campo y resort. Debe ser el correcto, un torneo que encaje con nuestra filosofía. Pero sí, trabajamos en ello y a corto o medio plazo esperamos traer de nuevo un gran torneo a Finca Cortesín.

What new additions will golfers find at Finca Cortesín?

The course has a very high level of maintenance. Over the last few years we have made different investments in order to fully maximise the course and the experience of players. We have made different improvements, implemented new

watering technologies, acquired a new fleet of maintenance equipment and we will keep working in that direction. A lot of work has also been carried out on landscaping, in order to provide a sense of continuity and integrate the landscape into the course. It is of course worth highlighting the new short play game area for members and clients. There is a magnificent tee that reaches 120 metres, an extensive green and a bunker area.

We are very happy with this new space.

The course is on a level shared by very few others in the area…

This is a Championship course and players find real challenges in every round. We take care of every detail and we try to make it a unique experience for players, from the moment they arrive until they leave. That is one the great hallmarks of Finca Cortesín.

Looking after service right down to the finest detail is something

crucial at Finca Cortesín?

Of course, I think that it is one of the things that distinguish us from other courses and resorts. We work on a golfing and hotel level, we have a restaurant (Kabuki Raw has a Michelin Star), spa…. in order to ensure our members and clients feel that they have had an exclusive and special experience.

As soon as they arrive on the course, we put their club bag in the buggy, the balls are in pyramids on the practice fairway, and the aperitif with fruit out on the course, the towels, the welcome... everything comes together so that everyone goes away thinking that they have experienced something really worthwhile. All of this comes at a reasonable and coherent price that is in accordance with the high level of service.

The resort is also going through a period of extensive growth. What plans do you have?

Having achieved our aim of con-

solidating our resort within Spain and internationally as one of the best resorts in Europe, we believe that it is the right time to incorporate new property projects. We have started two new projects, each of which has 16 villas, GREEN 10 and GOLFSIDE VILLAS. Both projects are being really well accepted by the market due to their unique architectural characteristics and the added services that their owners will be able to enjoy by being part of our Resort.

So, we predict a great future for both projects and for the growth of the Resort.

When will we see a big tourna-

ment at Finca Cortesín?

We think that it is just a question of time. Following the experience of the Volvo Master, the club has paid close attention to new tournaments and we feel that the market is currently more favourable towards these kinds of events.

However, we are not in a hurry, our aim is to bring an event that meets the standards and characteristics of our course and resort.

It has to be correct, a tournament that fits our philosophy. However, yes, we are working on it and in the short or medium-term future we hope to bring another great tournament to Finca Cortesín.

La cuarta edición del Circuito da el pistoletazo de salida en el hispalense tradado del Real Club de Golf de Sevilla el 30 de abril Una de las notas de color, ya tradicionales del Circuito de Golf La Revista de Sotogrande, es celebrar su apertura de citas clasificatorias lejos de su lugar de origen. Tras Marbella y Chiclana, esta cuarta edición no podia ser menos y pone rumbo a tierras hispalenese el próximo 30 de abril.

El Real Club de Golf de Sevilla, situado en Alcalá de Guadaira, posee uno de los mejores

campos del país. Un recorrido diseñado por José Mª Olazábal que ha sido sede de la Copa del Mundo 2004, el Open de Andalucía 2009 y el Open de España 2008, 2010 y 2012. Un par 72 de 6.529 metros con un trazado muy equilibrado que permite acoger cualquier competición de máximo nivel tanto amateur como profesional.

Un trazado exigente y muy agradable cuyo mantenimiento

y cuidado le ha valido para situarse entre los mejores campos que existen en España en la actualidad.

Además del recorrido, el Real Club cuenta con un excelente campo de prácticas de 120 metros de ancho por 260 metros de largo de Bermuda 419, junto al que se sitúan un putting green y chiping green de gran amplitud y con pendientes similares a las de los greens del campo.

After Marbella and Chiclana, the fourth edition had to keep up standards and so it is heading to Seville on 30 April.

Real Club de Golf de Sevilla, located in Alcalá de Guadaira, has one of the best courses in the country. The course was designed by José María Olazábal and was the venue for the

2004 World Cup, the 2009 Andalucía Open and the Spanish Open in 2008, 2010, and 2012.

It is a par 72 that is 6,529 metres long. It is a very balanced course that makes it possible to host any top-level competition, either amateur or professional.

It is a very demanding and pleasant course whose maintenance and care have enabled it to position itself among the best in Spain at the moment.

In addition to the course, Real

Las magníficas instalaciones de la Finca Dos Lunas Polo & Dressage acogieron este fin de semana el Concurso Social de Doma Clásica CDN*** Copa ANCCE y Menores, con un grandísimo nivel de participación, elevada calidad en los jinetes y amazonas y ante un ambiente inmejorable en la Finca Dos Lunas.

Más de un centenar de binomios se dieron en cita a lo largo de dos jornadas en las impresionantes instalaciones ecuestres de Dos Lunas para competir en las diferentes categorías de las que dispuso el evento; entre ellos, nombres tan reconocidos en la zona como el olímpico sevillano Juan Manuel Muñoz.

En cuanto a los representantes de Sotogrande, del equipo Dos Lunas, destacar la magnífica ac-

tuación, con una nota final de 64 en Intermedia I de Anunciada Torras, montando a Revoltoso; Jade Ellery, primera clasificada en Juveniles Equipos con Valette; Ginevra Gemmo segunda y tercera clasificada en juveniles 0*, con Louis; Iida Kiela segunda y tercera clasificada en Young riders, con Damisela; el tercer puesto en 4 años y el cuarto y quinto en 7 años de Alfonso Expósito.

En el equipo de MCRiders, ubicado en Sotogrande, destacó María Carnerero, jinete y entrenadora del equipo, en la prueba de 4 años quedando segunda clasificada y Almudena Villanueva, con Fogoso VG en Juveniles 0*, en tercera posición.

Una nueva oportunidad, gracias a la gran labor como anfitrión de Dos Lunas, de situar a Sotogrande como uno de los grandes destinos ecuestres a nivel nacional.

Classic Dressage in its finest form at Dos Lunas One hundred pairs participate in the CDN Competition*** ANCCE and Minors Cup This weekend, the magnificent facilities at the Finca Dos Lunas Polo & Dressage club hosted the CDN*** ANCEE and Minors Cup Social Competition, with an extremely high level of participation high quality riders and an unbeatable atmosphere at Finca Dos Lunas.

More than one hundred pairs gathered over the course of two days at the impressive equestrian facilities at Dos Lunas in order to compete in the different categories that took part in the event; including such renowned

names in the area such as the Olympian Juan Manuel Muñoz from Seville.

As for Sotogrande representatives, from the Dos Lunas team it is worth highlighting the magnificent performance, with a final mark of 64 in the Intermediate I of Anunciada Torras, riding Revoltoso; Jade Ellery came top in Under-18s teams with Valette; Ginevrea Gemmo was second and third qualified in Under-18s 0*, with Louis; Iida Kiela was second and third qualified Young riders, with Damisela;
