Vivimos unos días profundamente convulsos, algo contradictorios respecto a la información y sin duda, muy efervescentes en lo emocional y solidario. Una situación pocas veces imaginada y que como en todo periodo de crisis y crispación saca lo mejor y lo peor de las personas, la cara más amable o egoísta del ser humano y cuanto lo rodea. En este sentido, es para nosotros, para esta casa con más de 22 años de trayectoria todo un privilegio decir que “Sotogrande resiste”.

Como bien dice la canción y como bien está demostrando su comunidad, altamente solidaria y pese una circunstancias muy particulares (ya comenzó este previsible contexto, no para todos, allá por el mes de enero cuando comenzamos a conocer los primeros casos en nuestro país y su masivo crecimiento en países vecinos como Francia o Italia). Más allá de negativas y conflictos, precisamente la urbanización, se mostró más resistente y plural que nunca siendo ese foco único y exclusivo que acostumbra a ser.

We are living through deeply turbulent times, somewhat contradictory in terms of information and undoubtedly, very vibrant in terms of emotions and solidarity. A situation that we rarely imagine and like every time of crisis and tension it brings out the best and worst of people, the kindest or most selfish face of humanity and everything surrounding them. In this regard, for us, for this publishing house with a trajectory of more than 22 years, it is a real privilege to say that “Sotogrande resists”.

As the song goes and as its community is really showing, with lots of solidarity and despite very particular circumstances (this foreseeable content began, not for everyone, back in January when we began to hear about the first cases in our country and its massive growth in neighbouring countries such as France and Italy). Queridos amigos, busquen en su interior ese verano, que tanto brilla en Sotogrande. Agarren con fuerza los días en familia que pasamos en nuestras playas, los paseos, las tardes de cervecitas entre amigos, las noches de verbena, los baños improvisados bajo la luna...

¡Cojan el verano y abracen su esencia! Bailen sus canciones; sientan su levante; sueñen con sus estrellas...

Sotogrande se fortalece como destino educativo de calidad en España • En pocos kilómetros de Sotogrande agrupa varios de los mejores centros educativos de todo el país según el prestigioso ranking de los 100 mejores centros.

• El Colegio Patrocinio San José, escala un puesto, ya es el 32º, se convierte en el primer colegio andaluz de la prestigiosa lista de referencia e influencia a escala nacional.

• El Colegio Internacional de Sotogrande mantiene e incrementa su nivel en el apartado de internacionales.

Sotogrande reúne en tan sólo unos pocos kilómetros de distancia algunos de los mejores centros educativos de todo el país. Sin duda, una sólida referencia más del altísimo nivel educativo en la zona que incrementa el alto valor residencial y de comunidad en la urbanización. El Colegio Internacional de Sotogrande repite otro año su posición en la distinguida lista que elabora el diario El Mundo en el que figuran los mejores colegios de España y en el que no po-

día faltar uno de los grandes referentes educativos de la región; lo hace en la categoría de centros internacionales.

Por su parte, el Colegio San José, figura en la selecta mejor centenar de centros nacionales gracias a obtener una puntuación total, según el informe, de 90 puntos sobre 100 posibles (2 puntos más que el pasado año; desgranados en: Medios materiales (25 sobre 27), Oferta educativa (31/34) y Modelo de Enseñanza (33/39).

Algo que vale la pena resaltar con su constante crecimiento en los últimos años en esta

lista en la que siempre fue escalando posiciones.

Destacan sobre el centro malagueño su formato de Bachillerato que se divide en tres modalidades: el nacional, el Diploma de Bachillerato Internacional y un modelo dual que aúna ambos sistemas. También resalta su número de profesores (114) y su radio escolar desde la que cada mañana se emite un boletín informativo de actualidad y noticias del centro.

En la actualidad, cuenta con 1.152 alumnos de los cuales,

alrededor de unos 150 se desplazan a diario desde Sotogrande y el Valle del Guadiaro; su precio oscila entre los 410 y 955 euros al mes, por alumno. Citar su modelo bilingüe, sus especialidades en Bachillerato: Ciencias y Tecnología/ Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales, así como sus sellos de calidad (EFQM /Normas ISO) y su carácter privado, laico y mixto.

Del Colegio San José se valoró positivamente, además del Bachillerato Internacional,

su comedor con cocina propia, ciclo de infantil, instalaciones académicas y deportivas (laboratorios, aula multimedia, dos piscinas pista de atletismo, campos de diferentes deportes, etc.(, ruta de transporte, piscina, conservatorio y escuela de música, club deportivo, pizarras digitales o el uso habitual de nuevas tecnologías en el aula. Puntualiza en sus idiomas: inglés, francés y alemán y acentúa que es centro examinador de idiomas Cambridge y Trinity.

Por otro lado, el Colegio Internacional de Sotogrande es uno de los clásicos en el ranking, especialmente en su categoría y lo hace gracias a su constante evolución para incrementar el nivel del centro con innovadoras técnicas. Denominado como: privado, laico y mixto. En la actualidad se encuentran matriculados 1.080 alumnos, procedentes de más de 45 nacionalidades diferentes, y supera el centenar de profesores para impartir las materias en calidad de “plurilingüe”. A resaltar sus modalidades de Bachillerato, dividas en: Arte, Ciencias y Tecnologías, y como tercera opción, Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales.

Respecto al resto de servicios que ofrece, en el propio informe se destaca su Ciclo de Infantil, comedor con cocina propia, ruta de transporte, piscina, conservatorio, club deportivo, bachillerato internacional, pizarras digitales o el uso de nuevas tecnologías. Destaca los idiomas: inglés, francés, alemán y

ruso; y sitúa sus costes entre los: 6.800 y los 20.300 euros al año por alumno (según el curso y matriculación de actividades).

Sobre el centro resalta el desarrollo de los alumnos en diferentes campos académicos y deportivos; imparte bachillerato internacional y se encuentra acreditado por el European Council of International Schools

COVID-19 Servicios activos en Sotogrande, durante la crisis del coronavirus M. Gil / Redacción La Entidad Urbanística de Conservación Parques de Sotogrande ha emitido un comunicado a todos los vecinos en el que informa del cierre de sus oficinas en el CC Mar y Sol (tal y como recomiendan las autoridades sanitarias), así como un decálogo de instrucciones sobre la plena operatividad de sus servicios, en la medida de lo posible, durante esta fase preventiva del COVID-19 En concreto, un plan de contingencia en cada área de actividad, que en líneas generales se basan en los principios resumidos a continuación: Área Administrativa: Para conseguir el mayor grado de seguridad hacia los vecinos, la oficina central (CC Mar y Sol) permanecerá cerrada al público, evitándose así el contacto físico directo entre los vecinos y nuestro personal administrativo.

La atención a todos los vecinos seguirá manteniéndose, en el horario habitual, a través de la línea telefónica ( 956 795 040 ) y el correo electrónico ( administra-

cion@parquesotogrande.com ).

Se prevé realizar teletrabajo una vez que hemos asegurado técnicamente que los sistemas informáticos y de comunicaciones actúan en remoto con la misma eficacia que en la oficina. Área de Seguridad: El Departamento de Seguridad realizará sus funciones en modo habitual, siguiendo en todo momento las indicaciones de las Fuerzas y Cuerpos del Estado.

Los turnos de vigilancia serán en la medida de lo posible los habituales y se irían adaptando en caso de cambios obligados por las Autoridades. Todo ello ya se ha previsto en el plan de contingencia por parte de nuestro Departamento de Seguridad en coordinación con Prosegur que estará informado en todo momento a las FF y CC del Estado.

El Centro de Control mantendrá el servicio de atención telefónico a los vecinos las 24 horas del día en el número ( 956 795 194 ). Por motivos de eficacia, les pedimos que usen esta línea para inciden-

cias relacionadas con la seguridad. Área de Jardinería: Los equipos de trabajo se van a dividir, minimizando alterar la operativa habitual, para independizar los grupos de trabajo de forma que estemos preparados ante posibles incidencias en nuestro personal.

En la medida de nuestras posibilidades, se seguirá actuando en labores de limpieza (incluido el barrido mecánico), poda de arboleda, recogida de restos de poda, cuidado de zonas comunes ajardinadas, plantaciones, etc. Área de Mantenimiento de Infraestructuras: Las acciones habituales de mantenimiento de infraestructuras (iluminación, red de pluviales, pintura, pequeñas obras, etc.) se seguirán realizando de forma habitual con diferentes grupos de trabajo siempre que nos sea posible.

En próximas semanas se revisarán si la campaña de obras de

mejora de calles y asfaltados, que estaba previsto comenzar a mediados/finales de Abril, se mantiene en su calendario previsto o necesitará de una cierta reprogramación.

Es innegable que la pandemia por el coronavirus (Covid-19) nos afecta a todos. Y necesita de nuestro más grande compromiso para poder atravesar y salir de esta circunstancia fortalecidos. Es un momento para detener también la virulencia de las informaciones falsas y los rumores. Tratemos la información con cautela, y creer sólo lo que venga de organismos y fuentes oficiales como la OMS. Con el granito de arena de cada uno de nosotros, la situación en la que hoy nos encontramos en muchos países del mundo también pasará, y nos dejará enseñanzas que nos marcarán para toda la vida. Y esa acción individual, el aporte de cada uno de nosotros, es el que puede hacer la diferencia para que entre todos ganemos esta lucha contra el virus.

El día siguiente Esta pesadilla va a terminar. Hoy parece absurdo pensarlo, porque el presente, lógicamente, nos apremia.

Pero también podemos otear el horizonte. ¿Cómo será la economía el día siguiente al final de la pandemia?

Aunque nadie lo sabe, podemos plantear dos conjeturas: ese día será malo y también bueno.

El impacto económico será sin duda muy negativo. Lo está siendo ahora, y lo será tanto más cuanto más dure el cierre de los países. Puede ser lógico interrumpir la actividad productiva por motivos de salud durante varias semanas. Pero nadie plantearía que la economía se detenga por completo durante varios meses: el coste sería inasumible.

A la incertidumbre en términos de la actividad se suma la política. El día siguiente nos dejará una economía más pequeña pero una política más grandes, con desequilibrios en la Hacienda Pública, por la explosión del gasto y la caída en la recaudación; y también tensiones financieras por la expansión monetaria en busca de una solución milagrosa al colapso. ¿Dónde están las buenas noticias?

El virus de la solidaridad

Holmes Sotogrande informó de las medidas que seguridad y el protocolo de atención, en su mayor medida de manera telemática, durante el periodo de confinamiento para evitar la propagación del COVID-19. Explican que dado que la Junta de Andalucía tomó la decisión de cerrar todas las escuelas desde el próximo lunes 16 de marzo y solicitar a la población que implemente medidas de distanciamiento social por un mínimo de 15 días, en Holmes también se decidió cumplir con su parte e implementar un protocolo de distanciamiento social. Si todos hacemos nuestro pequeño esfuerzo para ayudar a reducir la propagación de este virus en la comunidad. Protocolo: 1. Holmes cerrará la oficina desde el próximo lunes 16 de marzo por la mañana durante un mínimo de 15 días.

2. Nuestro personal trabajará de forma remota desde su hogar a través de teléfonos móviles, por correo electrónico y mediante el uso de software como “Any Desk” o “Teamviewer”.

3. Pediremos a los clientes que no vengan a la oficina.

4. Llevaremos a los clientes para ver propiedades: a. Pidiéndoles que respeten que estamos empleando medidas de distanciamiento social. b. Pidiéndoles que nos avisen si no se encuentran bien y/o muestran algún síntoma, por pequeño que sea. c. Pidiéndoles que se laven bien las manos antes de comenzar las visitas. d. Los clientes deberán viajar en su propio vehículo. e. Recordar a los clientes que visitarán los hogares de otras personas, por lo que deberán ser respetuosos e intentar no tocar nada. f. Los agentes inmobiliarios debemos intentar abrir la casa con anticipación, incluidas todas las puertas internas para minimizar la necesidad de tocar cualquier cosa. g. NO se listarán nuevas propiedades mientras los propietarios o inquilinos están actualmente ocupando la propiedad. Si los propietarios o inquilinos no están en la propiedad y el acceso se organiza a través de personal autorizado con llave, entonces no hay razón para no visitar la propiedad para valorarla o listarla.

2. La de ira, de cabreo monumental con los políticos y con todo en general.

3. La de negociación, de ir aceptando los protocolos de seguridad e ideando maneras de continuar con nuestra vida dentro de las nuevas circunstancias.

4. La de tristeza, con la que comienza lo difícil, pues obliga a ser fuertes y creativos a pesar de las coronoticias de la tele o la imposibilidad de un abrazo. Trata de verbalizar lo que te preocupa sin entrar en pánico, coméntalo, consulta fuentes fiables, datos concretos y enfócate siempre hacia la solución del problema.

The process of change has its highs and lows, don´t get overwhelmed and have faith that, sooner or later, you will manage to transform sadness into

its opposite. Remember that you carry everything you need to do so within you.

5. Acceptance is the phase that bears its fruit. Suddenly, one day, you are different. Perhaps you have realised that there is no point consuming things if you don´t have the freedom to move or time to share or be calm. Perhaps you devoted yourself to discriminating and keeping others away and, now you find yourself confined and vulnerable, you understand your error.

Whatever your process, thank this crisis and make the most of it to gain momentum and learn to do things in the different way that the Earth calls upon us to.

Reyes y reinas: clasicismo y esencia de Sotogrande El mapa urbanístico de Sotogrande, a lo largo de las últimas décadas, ha evolucionado y desarrollado de una manera muy intensa hacia otros sectores de la urbanización dando a lugar a nuevos rincones muy especiales y con grandes servicios de alta calidad, lujo y excelencia. Cuenta atrás para el nuevo hotel de lujo de la urbanización: So/ Sotogrande

• El Hotel Almenara se trasformará en 2021 en un cinco estrellas, el único del Campo de Gibraltar Sotogrande S.A. presentó a empresarios, políticos y amigos de la urbanización SO/ Sotogrande. Un extraordinario hotel de lujo que abrirá sus puertas en la primavera de 2021 para formar parte de la experiencia del lifestyle de Sotogrande. El primer hotel de 5 estrellas del Campo de Gibraltar estará ubicado donde ahora se encuentra Almenara.

Un gran proyecto de reforma

para el que se va a realizar una inversión de más de 40 millones de euros y que supondrá un fuerte revulsivo para la economía y el turismo de la zona.

El nuevo hotel contará con 151 habitaciones, spa, una nueva casa club, 27 hoyos para jugar al golf, 9 establecimientos de restauración y 5 piscinas, entre otras impresionantes instalaciones realiza-

Rugeroni detalló que Accor tiene, aproximadamente, 5.000 hoteles en 51 países a través de 28 marcas. Cinco de ellas son de lujo y SO/ forma parte de esta división con 18 hoteles, de los cuales 9 están abiertos y otros 9 se están

abriendo. Los proyectos inmediatos son París, con 2 So Hoteles, y Cascais, en Lisboa.

El vicepresidente regional de operaciones de Accor apuntó que SO/ es una marca que sale un poco de los hoteles estándar de hoy en día, y que trae energía, pasión y muchas cosas diferentes a lo hecho con anterioridad en hostelería.

Countdown for new luxury hotel in the resort: So/ Sotogrande • In 2021, Hotel Almenara will be transformed into a five-star hotel, the only one in Campo de Gibraltar Sotogrande S.A. presented SO/Sotogrande to business people, politicians and friends of the resort. An extraordinary luxury hotel that will open its doors in spring 2021 to form part of the Sotogrande lifestyle experience. The first 5-star hotel in Campo de Gibraltar will be located in on the current site of Almenara. A large renovation project that will involve an investment of more than 40 million Euros and that will really boost the economy and tourism in the area.

The new hotel will have 151 rooms, a spa, a new club house, 27 holes for playing golf, 9 restaurants, 5 pools, alongside other impressive facilities created with an innovative design that will undoubtedly give people a lot to talk about in Sotogrande.

The hotel will be managed by the luxury and lifestyle brand Accor, SO / Hotels & Resorts, which signed a management agreement with Sotogrande SA in order to open the first SO

/ property in Spain.

At the presentation event, held in Almenara, Roberto Roca, the CEO of Sotogrande, S.A., devoted a few words to those present, outlining what the new hotel will be like, detailing the innovative character of the concept, perfectly fitting in with the predominant style in the large community of La Reserva de Sotogrande.

In turn, the mayor of San Roque, Juan Carlos Ruiz, used his speech to highlight the profitability of this investment and highlight the calm of the 80 employees who form part of the temporary redundancy plan of Hotel Almenara.

Entre las medidas acordadas por el Gobierno, se encuentran una serie de ayudas a las personas que hayan perdido su empleo, así como la flexibilización a la hora de plantear y tramitar un ERTE. Os aconsejamos acudir a vuestros asesores de confianza cuanto antes, ya que cada asunto requiere una especialización y un estudio pormenorizado de la situación de cada empresa y de cada autónomo de manera individualizada.

Así, tendríamos tres posibles escenarios: a) Tomar la decisión de continuar con la actividad cuando finalice el estado de alarma, tomar la decisión de cerrar definitivamente el negocio y medidas para sociedades mercantiles, en materia de celebración de Juntas y adopción de acuerdos.

Por ello, y ante la decisión de mantener la actividad de la empresa y del autónomo se puede: 1.- optar por el derecho de los trabajados a la adaptación o reducción de la jornada, 2.- tramitar un ERTE, 3.- derecho de los autónomos a percibir una prestación extraordinaria por cese de la actividad con motivo de la suspensión de la actividad o disminución de la facturación.

4.- En el ámbito fiscal además, hay que distinguir dos aspectos: a)sus-

pensión de los plazos en el ámbito tributario (los plazos que no hayan concluido a la entrada en vigor del RDL (esto es 18/03/2020) se amplían hasta el 30/04/2020; los plazos comunicados a partir del 18 de marzo se extienden hasta el 20/05/2020 y, b) aplazamiento para el pago de impuestos: no se suspenden los plazos para la presentación de declaraciones y autoliquidaciones tributarias, si bien cuando se den determinadas condiciones, es posible realizar aplazamientos a personas o entidades de declaraciones-liquidaciones tributarias.

5.- Pago de deudas y otras obligaciones, ente ellas el pago del alquiler.

6.- Moratoria en el pago de hipotecas.

7.- Reclamación de créditos a los deudores.

8.- Reclamación de parte de la cuota de autónomos en caso de administradores societarios.

Ante la decisión de cesar la actividad definitivamente. Como alternativa a mantener la actividad y acogerse a las medidas extraordinarias del Gobierno, la empresa y el autónomo deben valorar y tomar una decisión sobre la conveniencia de cesar la actividad con carácter definitivo, debidamente asesorado.

Medidas en materia societaria de personas jurídicas. Se podrán alterar los plazos para la formulación de cuentas anuales, para la elaboración de la auditoría en aquellas empresas que estén obligadas y para la celebración de las juntas de socios y/o accionistas.

Visto lo anterior y la extensión de la normativa implementada y los requisitos, habrá que estar al caso concreto de la empresa, trabajador y autónomo y valorar.

5.- Payment of debts and other obligations, including rent payment.

6.- Moratorium on the payment of mortgages.

7.- Claim of credit from debtors.

8.- Claim of part of the quota of self-employed workers in the case of company administrators.

In response to the decision to definitively cease activity As an alternative to continuing activity and benefitting from the extraordinary measures of the Government, the company and self-employed worker must assess and take a decision regarding the desirability of definitively ceasing activity, once they have been properly advised.

Measures on company matters for legal entities It will be possible to change the deadlines for producing annual accounts, for carrying out the audit in companies that are required to and for holding the meetings of partners and shareholders.

Demás, informaron que durante el primer semestre de este año estará implantada en todas las instalaciones una app a través de la cual se gestiona el conjunto de nuestros aparcamientos y que permitirá a los usuarios realizar pagos por la duración de su estacionamiento mediante una apli-

cación móvil (Android o IOS) sin necesidad de utilizar nuestros terminales de pago. Esta aplicación dispondrá también de una versión web en la que los usuarios podrán registrarse y consultar el histórico de pagos, recibir facturas, etc.

El enclave acogió un nuevo paseo literario “El tiempo entre costuras”, con motivo del tercer aniversario de su puesta en marcha: la cita congregó a más de medio centenar de asistentes y algunos personajes disfrazados de la época de Rosalinda Fox. El paseo literario “El tiempo entre costuras, el hogar de Rosalinda Fox” es una actividad gratuita que organiza la Red de Bibliotecas y que se realiza aproximadamente cada 15 días para conocer la vida de la

espía británica.

El punto de encuentro fue la rotonda de entrada a Guadarranque, a mediodía, y desde la misma se realizó un paseo por el hogar de Rosalinda Fox y por las calles donde vivió. La escritora Mariángeles Chozas ofreció a los participantes en esta iniciativa gratuita todo tipo de datos biográficos sobre la espía que habitó en esta barriada sanroqueña.

Mónica Córdoba, delegada de Bibliotecas, señaló que se acaba de cumplir en marzo el tercer aniversario de estos paseos literarios. “En esta ocasión, hemos querido representar la vida de Rosalinda Fox en

Guadarranque invitando a todos los que quisieran a que se disfrazaran de la época. Cada vez que hacemos un paseo literario resulta ser un éxito -reconoció la edil-, ya que las plazas, que son limitadas, se agotan rápidamente”. Córdoba apuntó que, como excepción, organizaban una comida en el local de la Asociación de Vecinos “Carteia”. La edil le agradeció al colectivo vecinal su colaboración, y a la persona de Pepe Durán por elaborar una paella popular al término de la visita.

Tras la comida, el grupo le hizo entrega a Mariángeles Chozas de un ramo de flores y de una

tarta cuya portada era la de su libro “Las doncellas de la espía”, la biografía novelada de Rosalinda Fox, donde se entremezclan realidad y ficción.

Esta novela fue publicada por Ediciones Atlantis en mayo del pasado año 2019. Los paseos literarios “El tiempo entre cos-

turas” en Guadarranque se llevan a cabo periódicamente, desde su puesta en marcha el 7 de febrero de 2017. Hay que recordar que desde el 28 de febrero de ese año, el Parque de Mayores de la barriada de Guadarranque lleva el nombre de “Rosalinda Fox”.

Thimbles, espionage and literature Fifty people participate in the third anniversary of the “El tiempo entre costuras” (Time in Between) literary walk Guadarranque, a favourite setting in the area with a special and unique connection between literature, wartime espionage and haute couture. The setting hosted a new “El tiempo entre costuras” (Time in Between) literary walk to mark the third anniversary of its launch: the event brought together more than fifty attendees and some people in period costume from the era of Rosalinda Fox. The “El tiempo entre costuras” home of Rosalinda Fox (Time in Between) literary walk is a free activity that is organised by the Library Network and it takes place every 15 days to discover the life of the British spy.

The meeting point was the entrance roundabout to Guadarranque, at midday, and from there a walk took place around the home of Rosalinda Fox and the streets where she lived.

The writer Mariángeles Chozas offered the participants in this

free initiative all kinds of biographical data about the spy who lived in this San Roque neighbourhood.

Mónica Córdoba, the Libraries delegate, stated that March just marked the third anniversary of these literary walks.

“On this occasion, we wanted to represent the life of Rosalinda Fox in Guadarraqnue, inviting everyone who wanted to

dress up in period costume.

The councillor acknowledged that “Every time we do a literary walk it is a success, as spaces, which are limited, run out quickly”. Córdoba stated that, as an exception, they were organising a lunch at the premises of the “Carteia” Residents Association. The councillor thanked the residents group for its collaborations,

and Pepe Durán for making a paella for everyone at the end of the visit.

After the meal, the group presented Mariángeles Chozas with a bunch of flowers and a cake whose cover was that of her new book “Las doncellas de la espía” (The Maidens of the Spy), the novelised biography of Rosalinda Fox, which mixes reality and fiction. The

novel was published by Ediciones Atlantis in May 2019. The “Time in Between” literary walks in Guadarranque have been carried out regularly, since their launch on 7 February 2017. It is worth remembering that since 28 February that year, the Park for Elderly People in the neighbourhood of Guadarranque bears the name of “Rosalinda Fox”.

El Andalucía Masters pone la vista en el futuro

El Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters – Fundación Sergio García, que estaba previsto que se celebrara del 30 de abril al 3 de mayo en el Real Golf Club Valderrama (San Roque, Sotogrande), finalmente será aplazado a causa de la amenaza que supone el coronavirus (COVID-19).

La decisión, según detalla el European Tour, se tomó después de consultar a todas las entidades responsables del torneo (la Junta de Andalucía, el Real Club Valderrama, la Fundación Sergio García y el patrocinador principal, Estrella Damm), a raíz de las restricciones al movimiento impuestas en España por esta emergencia sanitaria. Todas las partes implicadas están en contacto con el fin de buscar una nueva fecha para el torneo este mismo año. Se ba-

with other dates.

“We are worried about the development of coronavirus worldwide and we think that postponing the tournament is the best decision” explains Javier Reviriego, director general of Real Club Valderrama. “We will work with the European

Tour and with our sponsors to find a new date for this magnificent event. At Valderrama, we hope to soon welcome players and fans, once we have overcome this exceptional situation”.

In turn, Keith Pelley, executive director of the European Tour declared: “We are very closely monitoring the development of the situation and we continue to assess the impact of coronavirus on all our tournaments, but after discussing it with all the parties involve the most appropriate thing is to postpone the Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters – Sergio García Foundation. The health and wellbeing of everyone remains a priority for us.”

El extremeño consigue su segunda victoria en el European Tour en un emocionante desempate de cinco hoyos de duración

Jorge Campillo gana el Commercial Bank Qatar Masters de Golf Manuel Gil Jorge Campillo consiguió su segunda victoria en el European Tour y la segunda del golf español en la presente temporada.

Tremendo éxito y juego formidable del extremeño en el Commercial Bank Qatar Masters, torneo de la conocida como Gira del desierto que ya había registrado previamente las victorias de Sergio García (2014) y Álvaro Quirós (2009).

El triunfo de Jorge Campillo en el recorrido del Education City Golf Club, diseñado por José María Olazábal, no pudo ser más emocionante, ya que necesitó del quinto hoyo del play off de desempate que le enfrentó al escocés David Drysdale, que andaba a la caza de su primera victoria en el circuito.

Ninguno de los dos estuvo especialmente fino en la ronda final -71 golpes para Campillo, 71 para Drysdale-, siendo el español el que más cerca tuvo el triunfo: en el tee del 17 manejaba una renta de dos golpes sobre el escocés. Pero un doble bogey en el 17 emparejó de nuevo a ambos en la clasificación con -13.

Ya en el play off, celebrado íntegramente en el hoyo 18, los

dos ofrecieron una buena versión de su juego, con birdies en los dos primeros intentos y pares en los dos siguientes. En el quinto hoyo, Jorge Campillo embocó un fantástico putt de unos seis metros que celebró con Jesús Legarrea, su caddie esta temporada.

Cabe mencionar que el cacereño era líder ya al inicio de la jornada gracias a tres vueltas previas prácticamente perfectas de 66, 66 y 67 golpes. También en la pomada se movía

Pablo Larrazábal (T7, -10), que se alejó de la lucha por el triunfo con cuatro bogeys en sus primeros nueve hoyos. El barcelonés era, hasta el momento, el único español que había ganado este curso. Esta es la segunda victoria de Jorge Campillo en el European Tour tras la obtenida en abril de 2019 en el clásico Trophee Hassan II de Marruecos, un título que venía a premiar una trayectoria ascendente plagada de buenos resultados.

Jorge Campillo obtained his second victory on the European Tour and the second for Spanish golf this season.

Great success and amazing play from the Extremadura player at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters, a tournament on what is known as the Desert Tour which had previously witnessed victories by Sergio García (2014) and Álvaro Quirós (2009).

The win by Jorge Campillo on the Education City Golf Club course, designed by José María Olazábal, could not have been more exciting, as it needed the fifth hole of the playoff that saw him face the Scot David Drysdale, who was in search of his first victory on the circuit.

None of the two played especially well in the final round, with 71 shots for Campillo and 71 for Drysdale, and the Spaniard was closest to victory: on the 17th tee he had a two shot lead over the Scot. However, a double bogey at the 17th brought both level ago in the rankings on -13.

In the playoff, held entirely on the 18th hole, the two

offered a good account of their play, with birdies at the first two attempts and pars at the next two. On the fifth, Jorge Campillo holed a fantastic six-metre putt that he celebrated with Jesús Legarrea, his caddie this season.

It is worth mentioning that the player from Caceres was the leader at the start of the day thanks to three practically perfect previous rounds of 66, 66 and 67 shots. Pablo Larrazábal (T7, -10) was also in the mix, but he moved away from the battle for victory with four bogeys in his first nine holes. Until now, the Barcelona player was the only Spaniard who had won this year. This is Jorge Campillo´s second victory on the European Tour after the one he obtained in 2019 at the classic Hassan II Golf Trophy in Morocco, a title that rewarded an upward trajectory packed with good results.

conditions in force at that time and possible modifications).

El Valle del Guadiaro busca dar un paso más en el auge del deporte femenino, en esta caso con el ´futbol y de la mano de la UD San Enrique. Las instalaciones del UDSE acogieron un encuentro amistoso disputado por futbolistas del Lions, un equipo neoyorquino con escuela en Gibraltar, y jugadoras de la UD San Enrique de categoría Senior.

De este modo, el Municipal de San Enrique de Guadiaro recibió la visita de un nutrido grupo de chicas que integran la academia de fútbol de la entidad neoyorquina Lions, que tiene escuela en Gibraltar. Así, las futbolistas del Lions y las de la UD San Enrique de la categoría Senior disputaron un encuentro amistoso y de fraternidad, que ha servido para compartir algunas estrategias de fútbol. Hay que recordar que el conjunto senior de la UD San Enrique masculino juega esta temporada en la liga de local de Algeciras, mientras que el equipo femenino de fútbol 11 está en pleno proceso de formación.

La chicas, de momento, se ejercitan casi a diario y disputan amistosos, como el que han jugado este jueves gracias a la gestión que ha realizado su presidente y entrenador. El objetivo es que el fútbol femenino se convierta, en un plazo máximo de seis o siete años, en el deporte

con más licencias y más practicado por la base femenina del municipio de San Roque. De la mano del Manuel Ángel, presidente y entrenador de la UD San Enrique, nacía hace dos años uno de los proyectos más bonitos de futuro para el fomento del fútbol femenino.

Valle del Guadiaro is looking to take another step forward in the rise of women´s sport, in this case with football and alongside UD San Enrique. The facilities at UDSE hosted a friendly match played by Lions footballers, a New York team with a school in Gibraltar, and players from the senior side of UD San Enrique.

Thus, the Municipality of San Enrique de Guadiaro welcomed a large group of girls who are part of the football academy of the New York side, Lions, which has a school in Gibraltar. The Lions women´s players and the senior UD San Enrique players held a friendly and sociable game, which was used to share some football strategies. It is worth remembering that the men´s senior side of

UD San Enrique is playing this season in the local league of Algeciras, while the women´s 11-a-side team is in the process of being set up.

At the moment, the girls train almost every day and hold friendlies, such as the one held this Thursday thanks to the management of the president and coach.

The aim is that, within a maximum period of six or seven years, women´s football will become the sport with the most licences and that is most practiced by women in the municipality of San Roque.

Alongside Manuel Ángel, president and coach of UD San Enrique, two years ago one of the greatest future projects for encouraging women´s football was established.

Los noruegos eran los más perjudicados en el mano a mano de ambos, perdiendo la segunda plaza en la general provisional en favor del barco que conduce Juan Luis Páez.

• Una señora de 103 años se ha recuperado completamente después de haber estado infectada por el Corona virus, tras un tratamiento de 6 días en Wuhan, China.

• Apple ha reabierto ya sus 22 tiendas en China y la vida en ese país empieza a volver a la normalidad.

• En Corea del Sur también los números de nuevos casos son cada vez menores.

• Nuestro Sistema de Salud, aunque puntualmente colapsado, es uno de los mejores y más preparados del Mundo.
