Un verano más, por días, no hemos tenido que repetir como fotografía de portada la desembocadura del río Guadiaro completamente taponada. Desgraciadamente se ha convertido en un clásico del mes de agosto y de verano que esta situación se repita de manera cíclica llegando el momento central del verano, con todos los inconvenientes que ello genera y la afronta natural que supone el bloqueo de una salida natural de un río al mar.

Los ciudadanos y vecinos verán las cosas como deseen verlas, pero desde el punto de vista menos interesado de la pugna político, ese increíble entorno como es la bocana del río Guadiaro y su anexo Estuario debería ser lo suficientemente relevante como para poner de acuerdo a gobernantes y mandatarios de cualquier signo, color o ideología.

Everything has its cause and its consequence. Citizens and residents will see things as they wish to see them, but from the point of view least interested in the political battle, the incredible environment of the mouth of the Guadiaro river and its adjoining Estuary should be sufficiently important to have an agreement between leaders and those in charge from any party or ideology.

Preservar ese extraordinario pulmón y fuente de vegetación y agua en el corazón de la urbanización es un asunto sobresaliente y debería ser capaz de movilizar a las entidades locales en buscar una solución importante, de carácter sostenible y a largo plazo.

Preserving that extraordinary lung and source of vegetation and water in the heart of the resort is an outstanding matter and it should be capable of mobilising local entities in search of an important solution, that is sustainable and long-term.

Si no se acuerdan entre todas las administraciones implicadas un consenso y hoja de ruta de actuación, aunque haya que repartir la financiación o la competencia de actuación quede delegada; si no se alcanza este tipo de protocolo seguirá, tristemente y sin remedio, siendo una posible portada de nuestro periódico de agosto cada verano.

If all the administrations involved don´t reach a consensus and create a road map for acting, even if it is necessary to divide funding or if the responsibility for action is delegated; if this kind of protocol is not reached it will sadly remain without a remedy, and will remain a possible cover of our newspaper every August in summer.

Un paso determinante para Sotogrande Disfrutamos de unos increíbles días de verano de un primerizo y esbelto agosto. Casi todo a pedir de boca (excepto algunos datos inquietantes que pese al elevadísimo ritmo de vacunación no permiten bajar la guardia con el ‘bicho’). Hace tan sólo unas jornadas vivimos uno de esos días que se quedan marcados en el futuro a medio y largo plazo de la urbanización como fue la inauguración y reapertura del que será el gran hotel por excelencia de la urbanización: el nuevo SO/ Sotogrande. El trabajo de rehabilitación y reconversión total del antiguo Hotel Almenara en un establecimiento de gran nivel, cinco estrellas y gran lujo hacen dar un paso completamente notable al resort hacia el futuro, con una plaza hotelera de gran calidad y a la altura de Sotogrande. Enhorabuena a la propiedad, gestores y todas las partes implicadas en este increíble acierto. El lugar viste espectacular, les recomiendo encarecidamente su visita, aunque sea para probar su sobresaliente apuesta gastronómica. Casi con horas de diferencia arrancaba el 50º Torneo Internacional de Polo de Sotogrande, una bonita manera de elogiar las bodas doradas de la Copa de Oro y que pone en valor la enorme visión que en su día tuvo para el desarrollo de este deporte en la urbanización la figura de Enrique Zobel cuando hizo que todo comenzase a tomar forma a raíz de aquella cancha de la playa. Él siempre fue quién se encargó de coordinar con gran acierto todo el polo en la urbanización hasta que al inicio de los 90, tras su accidente, pediría a su gran amigo Ramón Mora-Figuera que tomase el relevo en la organización de la temporada. Un legado que desde entonces desempeñó la familia Mora y que de manera casual, en este 50º aniversario, es precisamente la Familia Zobel, especialmente a través de Paola (hija de Íñigo y nieta de Enrique), quién lidera la apuesta por el polo en Sotogrande y el regreso del Alto Hándicap este agosto a la urbanización. Sencillamente, enhorabuena a todas las partes que han presentado una temporada de polo más que divertida y bien montada para este verano. Los encuentros, como aviso por si alguno anda aún despistado, se repartirán entre los tres grandes clubes locales: Ayala Polo Club, Dos Lunas Polo & Dressage y Santa María Polo Club, que como siempre, acompaña el evento con una fantástica presentación de tiendas, restaurantes y mucho ocio en la zona de Los Pinos. Pero casi sin darnos cuentas, horas más tardes de mandar a imprenta la edición que tiene en sus manos, desembarca en La Reserva Club de Sotogrande un evento de enorme trascendencia internacional como es el Aramco Team Series. Un evento profesional de golf, con las mejores jugadoras del Ladies European Tour y con un millón de euros en premios. Y todo eso, en Sotogrande y del 5 al 7 de agosto. ¿Quién da más? Al siguiente fin de semana la clásica regata, el mercadillo nocturno y dominical, los restaurantes a tope, las terrazas sin descanso y la playa parece casi más bonita que nunca. Es para estar orgullosos y ver todas las señales del paso determinante que está dando Sotogrande en los últimos tiempos. Y aún, queda un otoño golfístico de primer nivel. No pierdan detalle. A decisive step for Sotogrande We are enjoying incredible summer days in a new and graceful Sotogrande. Almost everything has gone perfectly (except some worrying figures that despite the very high vaccination rate we cannot lower our guard against the “bug”). Just a few days ago we experienced one of those days that will be remembered in the mid and long-term future of the resort; the unveiling and re-opening of what will be the great hotel par excellence in the resort: the new SO/ Sotogrande. The renovation and total revamping of the former Hotel Almenara to turn it into a high-end, five-stars, grand-luxe establishment make the resort take a really notable step towards the future, with high quality hotel spaces that are befitting of Sotogrande. Congratulations to the owners, managers and all the parties involved in this incredible success. The place looks spectacular, I strongly recommend you visit, even if it is to try its outstanding range of gastronomy. Almost within hours, the 50th Sotogrande International Polo Tournament got underway, a beautiful way to celebrate the golden anniversary of the Gold Cup and showcase the enormous vision that Enrique Zobel had to develop this sport in the resort when he made everything start to take shape with the beach pitch. He was always responsible for very successfully coordinating all the polo in the resort until the start of the 90´s, after his accident, he requested that his great friend Ramón Mora-Figuera take over to organise the season. A legacy that has been carried out by the Mora family since then, and coincidentally, on this 50th anniversary, it is indeed the Zobel Family, especially through Paola (daughter of Íñigo and grandchild of Enrique), that is leading the commitment to polo in Sotogrande and the return of the High Handicap category this August to the resort. Simply, congratulations to all the parties involved that have presented a very fun and well organised polo season for this summer. The matches, in case anyone is still unaware, will be divided among the three big local clubs: Ayala Polo Club, Dos Lunas Polo & Dressage and Santa María Polo Club, which as always, is accompanying the event with a fantastic presentation of stores, restaurants and lots of leisure in the Los Pinos area. However, almost without realising, hours after sending this edition to print, an event of enormous international significance, the Aramco Team Series, is coming to La Reserva Club de Sotogrande. It is a professional golf event, with the best players from the Ladies European Tour and a prize purse of one million Euros. And all in Sotogrande, from 5 to 7 August. Who offers more? The following weekend there is the classic regatta, the night and Sunday market, the restaurants are packed, the terraces never stop and the beach almost looks more beautiful than ever. This is something to be proud of and we should see all the signs of the decisive step that Sotogrande has been taking lately. And still, a top-level autumn of golf awaits. • El Ayuntamiento de San Roque interviene, de nuevo, ante un problema de salud pública y se ve obligado a abrir la bocana del río Guadiaro. • Desde Alcaldía se critica a la Junta de Andalucía por su dejadez en esta cuestión.

Liberan la desembocadura del río Guadiaro Una máquina retroexcavadora procedió a retirar la arena que se había depositado en la bocana del río Guadiaro, taponándola, mientras que otra máquina se dedicó a esparcir por la zona y aprovechar la arena retirada. Una cuestión recurrente, cada verano, en la que el Ayuntamiento debe hacer frente, ya que, según el propio Consistorio, “ninguna administración, ni Gobierno central, ni Junta de Andalucía, quieren hacerse cargo de la competencia en este problema”.

Sin embargo, se mantiene desde Alcaldía, que en 2017 la abogacía del Estado, a instancias del Ayuntamiento, emitió un informe en el que señalaba que la competencia “era de la Junta de Andalucía, y desde ese momento, no se ha rebatido dicho informe”. Ese es el argumento utilizado por el alcalde, Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, para reclamar cada año a la Junta que intervenga, ya que el paraje se incluye en la Red Natura 2000, gestionado por la Consejería de Medio Ambiente.

El alcalde contesta así al delegado territorial de Medio Ambiente, Daniel Sánchez, que hizo unas declaraciones “reiteradas de años anteriores; lo único que le pido es que estudie y trabaje un poco, que lea los informes que existen”. Se refiere el alcalde al “informe de la abogacía del Estado de fecha 2 de octubre de 2017, que, por cierto, entonces quien dirigía el Gobierno de España y por tanto era responsable de la emisión de informes de la abogacía del Estado era el PP”. “Ese informe que fue tras-

ladado al Ayuntamiento de San Roque cuando existía el debate sobre quien era el competente sobre el habitual taponamiento del río Guadiaro, entre la Junta o el Gobierno de España, finalmente la abogacía dijo que la competencia recae sobre la Junta de Andalucía que es quien tiene trasladadas las competencias de materia medioambiental, sobre las marismas, lagunas ecosistemas acuáticos... y sobre los espacios naturales protegidos, como es el caso del estuario del río Guadiaro, que es una

Red Natura 2000”, indica Ruiz Boix. Por tanto, a juicio del alcalde “no obedece ahora mismo un debate mediático, si no solamente podría ser que los técnicos de la Junta den un informe que contraste al informe de la abogacía. Aquí lo que hay es dejación total”.

Mouth of Guadiaro river unblocked • Council of San Roque intervenes once again against a public health problem and is forced to open up the mouth of the Guadiaro River. • The Mayoral Office has criticised the Regional Government of Andalusia for its neglect on this matter. A digger machine removed the sand that had been deposited at the mouth of the Guadiaro River, blocking it, while another machine spread it around the area and used the sand removed. A recurrent matter, every summer, that the Council must confront, as, according to the Council, “no administration, or central Government, nor the Regional Government of Andalusia, want to take responsibility for this problem”. However, the Mayoral Office maintains, that in 2017 the state attorney, at the request of the Council, issued a report that stated that the responsibility “was of the Regional Government of Andalusia, and since that point, that report has not been contested”. That is the argument used by the mayor, Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, to call for the Regional Government to act each year, as the site is included in the Natura 2000 Network, managed by the Environmental Department. The mayor thus responds to the territorial Environmental delegate, Daniel Sánchez, who made “repeated statements in previous years; the only thing I ask of him is that he studies and works a little, and reads the existing reports”. The mayor reports to the “report by the state attorney dated 2 October 2017, and then who ran the Spanish Government, and was thus responsible for issuing reports of the State attorney was the PP”. “That report was passed onto the Council of San Roque when there was a debate about who was responsible for the regular blocking of the Guadiaro River, either the Regional Government or the Government of Spain, ultimately the state attorney said that the Regional Government is responsible as it holds responsibility for environmental matters, over marshes, aquatic lagoon ecosystems... and protected natural spaces, as is the case of the estuary of the Guadiaro River, part of the Natura 2000 Network” states Ruiz Boix. Therefore, according to the mayor “there is no need now for a media debate, similarly the technicians of the Regional Government should issue a report that counters the report of the state attorney. Here, what we have is total neglect”.

Verano distinto en Sotogrande Entramos en agosto y cambia el perfil de nuestra urbanización, con la llegada de los veraneantes. Como apunta el escritor Joaquín Santaella, ilustre residente en Sotogrande, aquí sabemos que ha venido el verano cuando ya no podemos acceder al puerto con nuestro coche libremente, como durante el resto del año. Sin embargo, este no es un agosto más, aunque lo parezca por la cantidad de gente, y hasta por la imagen de la excavadora que volvimos a ver a finales de julio, abriendo la bocana del río Guadiaro. No es un verano más, ante todo, porque podemos haber dejado atrás la pandemia. Es innegable que el virus sigue entre nosotros, y que, como editorializó nuestro periódico, debemos continuar ejerciendo la responsabilidad y la precaución. Pero la luz al final del túnel también es indudable. Una muestra de esa luz es el repunte de la actividad económica en el Campo de Gibraltar y en Sotogrande en particular. Vemos muchas grúas en nuestra urbanización, desde el mar hasta los lugares

más altos, y la compraventa de viviendas se ha animado tanto que ha habido más dificultades para los veraneantes que alquilan apartamentos y casas en julio y, sobre todo, en agosto. En nuestro número anterior ya señalamos la reanimación del sector turístico durante el segundo trimestre de 2021, incluso con la apertura en Sotogrande de un nuevo hotel,

además de los importantes trabajos de renovación de algunos de los ya existentes. En julio hemos podido ver diversas obras de mejora, y nuevos o remozados locales comerciales, chiringuitos incluidos. Y en agosto ya están en plena actividad los deportes, desde la vela y el golf hasta el polo, que cumple unos brillantes 50 años, y recupera el gran espectáculo del Alto Hándicap.

Un verano distinto en Sotogrande, pues. El realismo nos impide lanzar sin reparos las campanas al vuelo porque, como advierte nuestro director, José Luis García Iglesias, no vamos a restaurar el daño de 18 meses en 18 días de buena temporada en agosto. Pero sí es razonable destacar los progresos registrados, y seguir confiando en el mejor momento de Sotogrande: el futuro.

A different summer in Sotogrande We are entering August and the profile of our resort is changing, with the arrival of holidaymakers. As the writer Joaquín Santaella, an illustrious resident in Sotogrande states, here we know that summer has arrived when we can no longer freely access the port with our car as we do during the rest of the year. It isn´t merely another summer, above all, because we may have left the pandemic behind us. It is undeniable that the virus remains among us, and that, as our newspaper stated in the editorial, we must continue to exercise responsibility and caution. However, the light at the end of the tunnel is also unquestionable. One example of this light is the upturn in economic activity in Campo de Gibraltar and in Sotogrande in particular. We see lots of cranes in our resort, from the sea to the highest areas, and the sale of proper-

ties has livened up so much so that there have been difficulties for the holidaymakers renting apartments and homes in July and, especially, in August. In our previous edition, we pointed out the recovery of the tourist sector during the second quarter of 2021, even with the opening in Sotogrande of a new hotel, as well as the significant renovation work on some of the current ones. In July we were able to witness different improvement work and new or revamped commercial premises, including beach bars. And in August, sports

are fully operational, from sailing and golf to polo, which is celebrating 50 brilliant years, and recovering the great spectacle of the High Handicap category. So, a different summer in Sotogrande. Realism prevents us from rejoicing unreservedly because, as our director José Luis García Iglesias warns, we aren´t going to restore the damage of 18 months in 18 days of a good season in August. However, it is reasonable to highlight the progress recorded, and continue to have belief in the best time for Sotogrande: the future.

Este verano: a la playa en bus y gratis • El Consistorio sanroqueño habilita tres líneas de autobús que cruzan el municipio hacia sus diferentes barriadas en el litoral con un servicio gratuito. M. Gil El Ayuntamiento de San Roque pone durante los meses de julio y agosto autobuses gratuitos con destino a las playas del municipio, dentro de la campaña “Disfruta tu playa”. En concreto se han puesto tres líneas que recorrerán desde San Roque a Torreguadiaro, a la Bahía y a Guadarranque, realizando paradas en distintas barriadas del municipio. Así la línea de San Roque a Torreguadiaro partirá de Cuatro Vientos para pasar por la Alameda de San Roque, Pueblo Nuevo, Guadiaro, San Enrique, Torreguadiaro y Cala Sardina. La línea de la Bahía parte de Cuatro vientos y pasa por la Alameda, Puente Mayorga, Campamento y Pozo del Rey. La tercera línea conecta el casco de San Roque con Guadarranque, haciendo parada en Cuatro vientos, Alameda, Guadarranque, Miraflores, Taraguilla y Estación de

San Roque. Desde el Ayuntamiento se han previsto tres rotaciones para cubrir estos servicios de cada una de las tres líneas, cuyo horario serán dados a conocer esta semana. El alcalde señaló que se trata de un servicio a los vecinos del interior del municipio para que puedan disfrutar de los 15 kilómetros de litoral, en el que intentamos acercar a los vecinos a sus tradicionales puntos de destino. Ruiz Boix explicó que se trata de

acercar a los vecinos a sus playas de referencia: la de Guadarranque para los vecinos de Estación, Taraguilla y Miraflores; la de Puente y Campamento a los vecinos del casco; y la de Torreguadiaro y Cala Sardina, a los de Guadiaro y Pueblo Nuevo. This summer: to the beach by bus and free During the months of July and August, the Council of San Roque is providing free buses that go to the beaches in the municipality, as part of the “Enjoy your beach” campaign. Specifically, three lines have been provided that will run from San Roque to Torreguadiaro, to the Bay and to Guadarranque, making stops in different neighbourhoods in the municipality. Thus, the line from San Roque to Torreguadiaro will leave Cuatro Vietos before heading through the Alameda de San Roque, Pueblo Nuevo, Guadiaro, San Enri-

que, Torreguadiaro and Cala Sardina. The Bay line departs from Cuatro Vientos and goes through La Alameda, Puente Mayorga, Campamento and Pozo del Rey. The third line connects the centre of San Roque with Guadarranque, stopping at Cuatro Vientos, Alameda, Guadarranque, Miraflores, Taraguilla and Estación de San Roque. The Council has planned three rotations to cover these services for each of the three lines, whose timetables will be announced this week.

The mayor outlined this is a service for residents from inland in the municipality so they can enjoy the 15 kilometres of coastline, where we are trying to bring residents to the traditional destinations. Ruiz Boix explained that the aim is to bring residents to the main beaches: that of Guadarranque for the residents of Estación, Taraguilla and Miraflores; that of Puente and Campamento for the residents of the centre; and that of Torreguadiaro and Cala Sardina, for the residents of Guadiaro and Pueblo Nuevo.

El Bazar Solidario estará abierto al público, en horario ininterrumpido de 11 a 21 horas y la entrada es gratuita. Habrá gran variedad de puestos con artículos de artesanía, joyas, ropa india, cosméticos, ropa para niños y para el hogar, complementos típicos de la India, sedas japonesas, bisutería, etc. También, como es habitual, habrá una rifa solidaria en la que se sortearán 100 regalos donados por grandes marcas.

India Bazaar returns like every summer to Sotogrande On Thursday 5 and Friday 6 August the Hope and Joy Foundation is holding, at Trocadero Sotogrande, the 14th edition of the Charity India Bazaar whose profits will go towards alleviating the effects of the healthcare emergency caused by coronavirus in India. Faced with the chaotic situation caused by the spike in Covid-19 infections in India, the Hope and Joy Foundation has sent two shipments of healthcare material to the Mundakayam Medical Trust Hospital, located in Kerala, one of the areas currently most affected by the virus. With the aim of sending a third shipment of healthcare materials and thus helping as much as possible in the serious situation that India finds itself in, the Foundation is devoting its traditional Charity Bazaar to raising funds for this purpose. The Charity Bazaar will be open to the public, continuously from 11 am to 9 pm and entry is free. There will be a wide variety of stands with craft items, jewellery, Indian clothing, cosmetics, clothing for children and home textiles, typical Indian accessories, Japanese silks, costume jewellery, etc. Also, like normally, there will be a charity raffle where 100 gifts donated by major brands will be given away in a draw.

La esperada reapertura del campo Almenara Golf Sotogrande

La cuenta atrás para la reapertura del campo de golf Almenara ha terminado. El campo reabre el día 4 de agosto tras haber estado cerrado durante los dos últimos años debido a la reforma del hotel que ha dado paso a SO/ Sotogrande. El equipo de Almenara Golf Sotogrande ha aprovechado la oportunidad para remodelar el campo, bajo la guía de Manuel Piñero. El nuevo campo será más comercial y accesible, con una mejor jugabilidad y una mejor experiencia en general. Ricardo Andrades, Director de Golf de Almenara Golf Sotogrande, explica: “Estamos muy ilusionados con la reapertura del campo de golf a principios de agosto. Manuel Piñero se ha encargado del rediseño y hemos tenido en cuenta las mejoras del campo y de las instalaciones, que han sido sugeridas por ju-

gadores y profesionales, y las hemos implementado para mejorar el campo en su totalidad. Estoy muy contento con el resultado y confío en que el campo reflejará la calidad del nuevo hotel 5* SO/ Sotogrande y se convertirá en uno de los favoritos de los jugadores”. Los cambios incluyen la eliminación de unos 20 búnkers y la poda de los árboles del campo para que las calles sean más amplias y generosas. Han adquirido una nueva flota de buggies con GPS, han construido una nueva casa club y una tienda y han realizado importantes mejoras en el camino de los buggies, los aseos, el drenaje y los búnkers. También han rediseñado los hoyos 1, 3, 4, 5 y 9 del campo de Los Pinos para mejorar su jugabilidad. El hoyo 1 solía tener una caída muy pronunciada hacia la izquierda, lo

que lo hacía muy difícil. Durante la remodelación se ha hecho más plano y más divertido para el jugador y ahora es un par 5 fácil. En el hoyo 4 se han modificado los tees y en el hoyo 5 se han modificado dos largos bunkers, lo que ha cambiado significativamente la experiencia del jugador. El campo de Los Alcornoques también ha sido mejorado, con cambios en los obstáculos de agua de los hoyos 4 y 7. El hoyo 7 solía tener un gran lago a la izquierda y uno pequeño en la parte delantera del green que los jugadores encontraban difícil. Ahora se ha eliminado el lago pequeño, lo que ha permitido al equipo ampliar la zona de delante del green para mejorar la experiencia del jugador. Por último, en el green del hoyo 5 del campo de Los Lagos también se ha mejorado para hacerlo más ancho y plano.

The reopening of the Almenara Golf Sotogrande Course The countdown to the reopening of the Almenara golf course is over. The course reopens on the 4th of August after being closed for the last two years due to the refurbishment of the hotel which has given way to SO/ Sotogrande. The team at Almenara Golf Sotogrande have taken the opportunity to remodel the course, guided by Manuel Piñero. The new course will be more commercial and accessible, with improved playability and a better experience. Ricardo Andrades, Director of Golf at Almenara Golf Sotogrande explains, “We are very much looking forward to the reopening of the golf course at the beginning of August. Manuel Piñero has been in charge of the redesign and we have taken into consideration improvements to the course and facilities, which have been suggested by players and pros, and implemented them to improve the course across the board. I am very happy with the result and

confident that the course will reflect the quality of the new 5* SO/ Sotogrande Hotel and become a players’ favourite.” Changes include removing approximately 20 bunkers and pruning the trees on the course to make the fairways feel wider and more generous. They have purchased a new fleet of bug-

king it very difficult. During the refurbishment this has been made flatter and more player friendly and it is now an easy par 5. Hole 4 has had the tees modified and hole 5 has had alterations to two long bunkers, which has significantly changed the player experience. The Los Alcornoque course has also been improved, with changes made to the water hazards on holes 4 and 7. Hole 7 used to have a large lake on the left and a small one on the front of the green which players found difficult. The small lake has now been removed enabling the team to enlarge the area in front of the green to improve the player experience. Lastly, the green of hole 5 on the Los Lagos course has also been improved to make it wider and flatter. Sotogrande: movilidad ‘in-sostenible’ Hace más de medio siglo que nació «Sotogrande», la urbanización puntera de España. Sus infraestructuras viarias siguen siendo básicamente las mismas y sin embargo el flujo de vehículos ha crecido desmesuradamente durante las últimas cinco décadas. ¡¡ATENCIÓN!! SE ESTÁ PERDIENDO EL SOSIEGO. Aunque yo apenas supero la década de residencia por estos privilegiados lares, conozco mucho de aquellos plácidos primeros años, gracias a quien fue la primera Directora General de Sotogrande, Carmen Guerendiain, gran amiga de mis abuelos. Ella, que dejó su puesto de Directora de los Hoteles «Palace y Ritz» en Madrid, para iniciar la gesta de montar este paraíso, sabía mucho de cómo desarrollar agradables infraestructuras para los habitantes del «Gran mundo». Afortunadamente, a Sotogrande le pasa un poco como a París o a Berlín pues también, como ellas, fue diseñada con magnificencia y amplitud, lo cual le va a permitir adaptarse mejor a las nuevas circunstancias. La electricidad aplicada a los viejos patinetes y a las bicicletas ha conseguido miles de nuevos usuarios para dichos medios de transporte; la fiebre deportiva, producto de la hormonada alimentación, puebla los arcenes de caminantes, patinadores y sudorosos corredores; arcenes que están prácticamente ocupados «ya» como aparcamiento de las furgonetas de la multitud de gremios que rehabilitan o construyen de nuevo casas unifamiliares por toda la urbanización; mini coches y motos de cuatro ruedas, disputan el asfalto a los

automóviles tradicionales, y, a todo ello, se han sumado las omnipresentes camionetas de reparto a domicilio capaces de traerte a casa el pescado desde A Coruña. PRONTO EL CAOS ESTARÁ SERVIDO. He trabajado los últimos años en la vecina Marbella y sé de primera mano la ineficiencia del transporte en esa icónica población veraniega. La nefasta movilidad provoca estrés en quienes vienen en búsqueda de descanso y relax, subvertiéndo así la función relajante de las vacaciones. Porque creo que toda crítica, si quiere ser constructiva, ha de aportar posibles remedios, me atrevo a presentar las siguientes PROPUESTAS: A) Acabar de una vez el prometido paseo fluvial hasta El Tesorillo habilitando de paso el «puente de instalaciones» sobre el Guadiaro que existe aguas arriba del puente de la nacional 340. Pero ¡atención! es importante permitir el paso por ambos márgenes del río. A fin de cuentas dichos márgenes de los ríos son tan de Dominio Público como las playas y sus aledaños. Además también hay caminos entre fincas agrícolas susceptibles de ser asfaltados mejorando así la seguridad viaria de la gran cantidad de ciclistas que suben hasta San Enrique. Los márgenes de muchos de los ríos de Europa constituyen autopistas verdes que ayudan a la movilidad local y de paso acogen un cada día más pujante ciclo-turismo de largo recorrido. B) Habilitar el cauce del arroyo (también de dominio público) que bajando desde el antiguo cortijo de Paniagua afluye al

Guadiaro por su derecha junto a la Urbanización del Polo, para reconvertirlo en un «pasillo de movilidad verde» hacia Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro y su zona comercial. C) Remodelar el Paseo del Parque creando un «círculo deportivo» separado del tráfico de vehículos a motor, diferenciando la zona de ciclistas y la de peatones, utilizando para ello los amplios espacios de utilidad pública que existen a ambos lados junto al vallado de las viviendas unifamiliares (Más de 3m a cada lado que mantienen los vecinos). Los vecinos no soportarían un censo que no les beneficia en absoluto, los deportistas podrían ir más seguros y, además, se podrían intercalar algunas plazas de aparcamiento para gremios y visitantes. D) Acondicionar, apisonando (no asfaltando) la pista existente desde el Bunker de la depuradora hasta La Línea. Así se harían realmente efectivos los nuevos cartelitos de «Sendero europeo del arco mediterráneo» E) Exigir «de hecho» la nueva limitación a 30 Km/h en toda la urbanización pues, tristemente, la realidad deja mucho que desear. Dichas medidas no son excesivamente caras para un municipio como San Roque, máxime si tenemos en cuenta que, precisamente Sotogrande es una considerable fuente de ingresos. Si los impuestos los recauda el Municipio, justo es que sea él quien se preocupe de asumir esos cambios, igual que se ha preocupado de abrir el cauce del río o de poner una preciosa ducha junto al chiringuito del Trocadero.

Sotogrande: Un-sustainable Mobility “Sotogrande”, the cutting-edge resort in Spain was established more than half a century ago. Its road infrastructures basically remain the same, however the flow of vehicles has grown disproportionately over the last five decades. ATTENTION!!! CALM IS BEING LOST. Although I have barely resided in this privileged setting for over a decade, I know a lot about those peaceful early years, thanks to the woman who was the first Director General of Sotogrande, Carmen Guerendiain, a great friend of my grandparents. She, who left her position as Director of the Palace and Ritz Hotels in Madrid, to begin the feat of establishing this paradise, knew a lot about how to develop pleasant infrastructures for the inhabitants of the “Great world”. Fortunately, Sotogrande is a little like Paris and Berlin as like them, it was designed with grandeur and spaciousness, which has enabled it to adapt better to the new circumstances. Electricity applied to the old scooters and bicycles has obtained thousands of new users for those transport methods; the sporting fever, a result of hormone-treated food, populates footpaths with walkers, skaters and sweaty runners; footpaths that are practically occupied “already” as parking for the vans of the multitude of associations that are renovating or building new single family homes throughout the resort; mini cars and four-wheel motorbikes, compete for paving with traditional cars, and in addition to all of this there are the omnipresent

home delivery lorries capable of bringing you fish from A Coruña. SOON, CHAOS WILL BE SERVED. In recent years I have worked in neighbouring Marbella and I know first-hand about the inefficiency of transport in that iconic summer town. The disastrous mobility causes stress for those who come in search of rest and relaxation, thus subverting the relaxing function of the holidays. Because I believe that any criticism, if it wants to be constructive, must provide possible solutions, I dare to present the following PROPOSALS: A) Put an end for once and for all to the promised river walkway to El Tesorillo by providing the “facilities bridge” over the Guadiaro that exists up-water from the bridge of the national 340 road. But, attention! It is important to allow movement along both sides of the river. Ultimately, those sides of the rivers are as much Public Domain as the beaches and surrounding areas. There are also paths between farm properties that could be paved, thus improving the road safety of the large amount of cyclists who go up to San Enrique. The sides of many of the rivers in Europe are green highways hat help local mobility and incidentally host increasingly thriving long-distance cyclotourism. B) We could fit out the bed of the stream (also public domain) which going down from the old Paniagua farmhouse flows into Guadiaro along the right next to the Polo Resort,

to reconvert it into a “green mobility corridor” towards Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro and its shopping area. C) Remodel the Paseo del Parque by creating a “sporting circle” separated from vehicular traffic, differentiating the area for cyclists and that of pedestrians, using to that end the spacious spaces for public use that exist on both sides next to the fencing of the single family homes (More than 3m on each side from the residents). The residents would not tolerate a census that doesn´t benefit them at all, sports people could travel more safely, and also, some parking spaces could be put in for associations and visitors. D) Fit out, by compressing (not paving) the current path from the Bunker of the treatment plant to La Línea. This would make the new signs of the “European trail of the Mediterranean arch” actually effective. E) Demand “de facto” the new limitation of Km/hr in the entire resort as, sadly, the reality leaves a lot to be desired. These measures are not overly expensive for a municipality like San Roque, especially if we bear in mind that, Sotogrande is indeed a considerable source of revenue. If the taxes are collected by the Municipality, then it is fair that is also the party that is responsible for undertaking these changes, just as it has shown concern to open up the mouth of the river or put a beautiful shower next to the Trocadero beach bar.

After a little over a year of work, the former Hotel Almenara has been transformed into SO Sotogrande, the first 5-Star Grand Luxe hotel in the province that has now opened its doors. I want us to have lots of activity that generates employment and wealth in the municipality of San Roque”. “From today on, with the launch of this hotel, San Roque will begin to lead a new tourist segment in

our province, in the sense that our municipality can boast of having the first five-star grand luxe hotel in Campo de Gibraltar” stated the mayor. He encouraged the investment fund and other developers to invest in San Roque, aware that there is the guarantee of an immediate return on the investment, and he stated that San Roque now has the best

range of tourism and leisure. Lastly, he encouraged everyone who had worked on, from architects and designers to builders and gardeners, so that in less than a year and a half, with the pandemic in between, the work has been carried out and the Hotel is now a reality. ¿Has caído en la trampa? Lo reconozcas no, en algún momento de tu vida, has sentido Celos. Quizás hacia tu pareja, hermanos, amigos, ¿tu compañero de trabajo ?..., habrás podido sentir el enfado o la tristeza que te provocaba algo que estaban haciendo y de lo que no te sentías parte. También puede ser que hayas sufrido los celos del otro, su ira o su desdén, haciéndote sentir culpable por algo que acababas de hacer, de decir, o, por a quien acababas de mirar, mientras tú no entendías nada. Comentarios cómo: “¿de qué habéis estado hablando tanto tiempo?”, “no me gusta cómo te ha mirado”, “has tardado mucho ¿no?” .... Si te resuenan estas frases, no te quepa duda de que has estado ahí en algún momento. Tanto si los sientes tú, cómo si sufres por los celos de alguien, tienes que comprender el “para qué “de esta emoción. Para qué se siente. Que dice. Que necesitas para calmar tus celos y también para entender el por qué de los celos de la otra persona. Los celos son una emoción que tiene trampa y es que se perciben cómo una prueba de amor: “si mi pareja se pone celosa es porque me quiere.” ¿A quién no le ha dado un subidón provocando celos en otro? ¡Cuidado! Si estás en este punto, has podido pisar el cepo: “si hay celos, hay amor”, cuando lo que verdaderamente se está poniendo de manifiesto es: “si hay celos, hay inseguridad y posesividad” por parte de la persona que los siente. Los celos son una emoción compleja derivada del miedo, funcionan cómo una alerta para proteger lo que creemos nuestro ante una amenaza real, pero se vuelven disfuncionales cuando, sin hechos evidentes, empezamos a desarrollar comportamientos de control que pueden generar estrés y ansiedad en la otra persona. Que no le echen la culpa a tu traje de baño, la per-

sona celosa lo es en julio y en febrero, en Sotogrande o en Madrid. La ecuación es sencilla: los celos son inversamente proporcional al nivel de autoestima, cuanto más celosa es una persona, menos se valora a sí misma y más propensa será a sentirlos. Los celos aparecen por el miedo a perder algo o a alguien, y ese miedo nace debido a una baja autoestima que provoca comportamientos irracionales buscando evidencias de lo que tanto tememos, lo cual es peligroso porque podemos provocar “la profecía autocumplida”, es decir, que nuestra relación personal, laboral o familiar se rompa debido a nuestro comportamiento vigilante y obsesivo. El remedio contra los celos pasa por redirigir toda la energía que gastamos en controlar al otro hacia

nosotros mismos. Comencemos por el punto de partida de toda Gestión Emocional: • Reconoce lo que sientes. Acéptalo. • Identifica qué es lo que te dispara este estado de celos ¿un pensamiento? ¿un gesto ?... • Básate en los hechos que realmente tienes: ¿que evidencias prueban lo que tanto temes? Ahora bien, si realmente tienes evidencias, entonces lo que tienes que valorar es la relación en la que estás. Redirige tu energía a crecer cómo persona: a trabajar tu seguridad, la confianza en ti mismo y en tu propio valor, entender el para qué de tus emociones y comprender las de los demás, para poder así aumentar tu bienestar personal. Mejor con un proceso de Coaching e Inteligencia Emocional.

Have you fallen into the trap? You admit it no, at some point in your life, you have felt Jealous. Perhaps towards your partner, siblings, friends, your work colleague? You will have felt anger or sadness caused by something that they were doing and that you didn´t feel part of. You may also have suffered the jealousy of another, their anger or contempt, making you feel guilty for something you had just done, said, or for who you had just looked at, while you didn´t understand anything. Comments such as: “what have you been talking about for so long’”, “I don´t like how they looked at you”, “you have taken a long time, no?” .... If these phrases sound familiar to you, let there be no doubt that you have been there at some point. Whether you have felt it, or suffered the jealousy of someone, you need to understand the “why” behind this emotion. Why is it felt. What does it say. What do you need to calm your jealousy and also to understand the reason behind the jealousy of another person? Jealousy is an emotion that has a trap and that is because it is perceived as proof of love: “if my partner is jealous it is because they love me.”

Who hasn´t experienced a high by causing jealousy in someone else? Be careful! If you are at this point, you may have stepped in the trap: “if there is jealousy, there is love”, when what is actually being stated is: “if there is jealousy, there is insecurity and possessiveness” from the person who feels them. Jealousy is a complex emotion deriving from fear, it functions like a warning to protect what we believe is ours when faced with an actual threat, but it becomes dysfunctional when, without clear evidence, we begin to develop controlling behaviour that could generate stress and anxiety in the other person. Don´t let them blame your swimwear, a jealous person is so in July and in February, in Sotogrande or in Madrid. The equation is simple: jealousy is inversely proportional to the level of self-esteem, the more jealous a person is, the less they value themselves and the more likely they will be to experience it. Jealousy appears due to the fear of losing something or someone, and that fear emerges due to low self-esteem which causes irrational behaviour by seeking

evidence of what we fear so much, which is dangerous because we can cause the “self-fulfilling prophecy”, that is to say, our personal, working or family relationship may break due to our vigilant and obsessive behaviour. The remedy for jealousy depends on redirecting all the energy we expend on controlling the other towards ourselves. Let´s begin with the starting point of all Emotional Management: • Acknowledge what you feel. Accept it. • Identify what it is that triggers that state of jealousy, a thought? A gesture...? • Base yourself on the facts you really have: what evidence proves what you fear so much? However, if you actually have evidence, then what you need to assess is the relationship that you are in. Redirect your energy towards growing as a person: to working on your confidence, your belief in yourself and in your own value, understanding the reason for your emotions and understanding those of others, in order to thus increase your personal wellbeing. Continúa el “silencio” administrativo sobre la opción de una ITV en San Roque La primera autoridad de San Roque, Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, recriminó que un responsable de la empresa VEIASA realizase una nueva visita a la ITV en Algeciras y que una vez más la Junta de Andalucía siga sin pronunciarse pronuncie sobre la puesta en marcha de una nueva estación, a sabiendas de que las actuales están colapsadas Comentó el alcalde que se trataba de una visita a las instalaciones de Veiasa de Algeciras, las únicas de estación de Inspección Técnica de Vehículos (ITV) en el Campo de Gibraltar y volvían a estas instalaciones que han recibido una inversión. “Este montante -señalóya fue acordado por el gobierno anterior que presidía Susana Díaz, y suponía una actualización de las distintas líneas de atención

LA ESTIMULACIÓN COGNITIVA COGNITIVE STIMULATION

Técnicas para entrenar la memoria Ya dijimos que para recordar no basta con la repetición. No es de las mejores técnicas, e incluso nos puede jugar malas pasadas, como quedarnos en blanco. Es prácticamente imposible recordar todos los detalles provenientes de los estímulos percibidos con los sentidos, y si retenemos alguno de ellos es porque le hemos prestado cierta atención y suele durar pocos minutos. Esta es nuestra memoria a corto plazo. ¿Qué podemos hacer para que pase a la memoria a largo plazo? En otras palabras, ¿qué métodos efectivos podemos utilizar para la codificación? Una vivencia muy intensa puede quedar almacenada en nuestra memoria a largo plazo, especialmente si se es consciente de la voluntad de codificarla ( he aquí la importancia de la atención) En otro sentido, también recordamos de forma automática y mecánica montar en bici o conducir. Aquí nos referimos a otro tipo de “memorización” Una de las técnicas es la de agrupación. Por ejemplo, al realizar la compra, podemos agrupar los diferentes productos por categorías (verduras, productos de limpieza o aseo, bebidas, etc.). La mnemotecnia, según la definición dada por la RAE, es el procedimiento de asociación mental para facilitar el recuerdo de algo. De esta forma, mucho más efectiva será la “recuperación” de la lista de la compra si le hemos asociado colores, imágenes o incluso canciones. Esto es debido a que independientemente de que nuestro cerebro sea generalizadamente visual, cada persona intensifica un sentido de forma predominante sobre otros para el aprendizaje. Así el nombre de una persona que nos acaban de presentar podemos relacionarlo con algún objeto, paisaje, ciudad, personaje histórico… Cuanto más extravagante sea la asociación, más eficientemente se vuelve el recordar, pues el

cerebro ha participado en la codificación de forma más activa. Para memorizar números de teléfono podemos dividirlo en unidades más pequeñas asociándolo a edades, fechas relevantes o incluso consonantes. Anecdóticamente recuerdo con cariño como una compañera de estudios me ayudaba a recordar con gestos estrafalarios contenidos de una asignatura que no era precisamente “ de lo más emocionante” Otra técnica bastante eficaz es la autorreferencia. Consiste en involucrar aspectos de nuestra propia vida en forma de relato. Sí de estudios se trata, el método de la repetición espaciada es fundamental. Es mucho más fructífero el “ritmo” con periodos de descanso, que el “atracón” de última hora propio de los estudiantes. Menos tiempo de dedicación diaria. Eso sí, diariamente. Por este motivo es fundamental la constancia, la disciplina, y sobre todo la atención, ya que la motivación por sí sola no funciona.

The “pace” with rest periods is much more fruitful, than the last-minute “binge” that is typical of students. Less time devoted to daily dedication. Having said that, do it on a daily basis. Therefore, consistency, discipline, and above all, attention are crucial, as motivation alone does not work

Bronce Volvo, la Copa de Plata Terralpa y la Copa de Oro. En el mismo participarán 12 equipos, divididos en dos categorías: Alto Hándicap (18-20 Goles) y Mediano Hándicap (12-14 Goles). La entrada a las canchas vuelve a ser gratuita.

Todo en marcha, para el 50º Torneo Internacional de Polo en Sotogrande Manuel Gil Se llevó a cabo el acto de presentación del 50º Torneo Internacional de Polo, con la presencia del vicepresidente y consejero de Turismo de la Junta de Andalucía, Juan Marín, el acalde de San Roque, Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix; así como responsables de la Federación Española de Polo y de los tres clubes que este año organizan el torneo: Santa María Polo, Ayala y Dos Lunas. En la presentación, el alcalde ha reivindicado la importancia de este Torneo Internacional que aglutina a los mejores equipos y jugadores del mundo durante los meses de verano, dando a San Roque una importancia turística

muy relevante. El vicepresidente de la Junta Andalucía, Juan Marín, recogió el guante lanzado por el alcalde y recordó que llevan 25 años esperando una Ley del Suelo, en la que confía que se pueda buscar alguna fórmula para el distrito equino. Felicitó Marín a los organizadores de estos torneos de polo que alcanzan el medio siglo y es consciente de la importancia turística y social que la celebración de este torneo tiene para el Campo de Gibraltar, y en especial para San Roque. El presidente de la Federación Española de Polo, Luis Benjunea, destacó el buen momento del polo en España, tanto mascu-

lino, femenino como en categorías inferiores, y en especial en San Roque, anunciando que en el mes de septiembre, del 10 al 19, se van a celebrar en San Roque el Campeonato Europeo de Polo, que iba a celebrarse en Azerbayán, con la presencia de las 6 mejores selecciones europeas de polo. The presentation event of the 50th International Polo Tournament took place with the presence of the vice-president and delegate for Tourism of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Juan Marín, the mayor of San Roque, Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix; as well as managers from the Spanish Polo Federation and the three clubs that are organising the tournament this year: Santa

María Polo, Ayala and Dos Lunas. At the presentation, the mayor recalled the importance of this International Tournament which brings together the best teams and players in the world over the summer months, giving San Roque a very significant tourism importance. The vice-president of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Juan Marín, took up the gauntlet thrown by the mayor

and recalled that they have spent 25 years waiting for a Land Law, and is confident that it will be possible to look for a formula for the equine district. Marín congratulated the organisers of these polo tournaments which have reached their fiftieth anniversary and he is aware of the tourism and social importance that the celebration of this tournament for Campo de Gibraltar, and especially for San Roque.

The president of the Spanish Polo Federation, Luis Benjunea, highlighted the good period for polo in Spain, both men´s and women´s, and younger categories, and especially in San Roque, announcing that in September, from 10 to 19, San Roque will hold the European Polo Championship, which was going to be held in Azerbaijan, with the presence of the 6 best European polo sides. La competición se disputó en dos niveles, 6 a 8 goles de hándicap (dónde participaron 4 equipos) y 12 a 14 goles de hándicap, en el que participaron otros 4 combinados. El torneo se celebró entre las canchas de Ayala Polo Club, Dos Lunas Polo & Dressage y Santa María Polo Club. Los partidos de la jornada decisiva se disputaron en las canchas de Ayala Polo Club. La gran final de la Copa Memorial Fundador Enrique Zobel fue un gran partido, en la que se enfrentaron los equipos de Ayala y Marqués de Riscal. Ayala, finalmente, levantó la

copa tras vencer a Marques de Riscal por 10 a 6.5 En la otra categoría, Nairobi y John Smith jugaron un gran y parejo partido final, que ter-

minó quedando en manos de los primeros tras imponerse por medio gol 8 a 7.5. El torneo fue organizado por MINUTO 7. Durante el mismo se

The competition was held on two levels, 6 to 8 handicap goals (with 4 teams participating) and 12 to 14 handicap goals, with another 4 teams participating. The tournament was held between the pitches of Ayala Polo Club, Dos Lunas Polo & Dressage and Santa María Polo Club. The games on the decisive day were held on the pitches of Ayala Polo Club. The grand finale of the Enrique Zobel Founder Memorial Cup was a great game, and brought the Ayala and Marqués de Riscal teams up against one another. Ayala ultimately lifted the cup after beating Marques de Riscal by 10 to 6.5

Educación Culminan con éxito los cursos de verano Los Cursos de Verano del Colegio San José han convocado este año a centenares de niños procedentes de Marbella, Estepona, San Roque y La Línea de la Concepción. Una amplia oferta de la que han disfrutado durante todo el mes de julio niños y niñas con edades comprendidas entre los 3 y los 13 años: KIDS CLUB, MULTIACTIVITY SUMMER CAMP, JUNIOR SPORTS y FOOTBALL CAMPUS. Los participantes han alternado la práctica deportiva (fútbol, tenis, pádel, natación, yoga, rocódromo, pin pon…) con competiciones, juegos y concursos. Los más pequeños han disfrutado de actividades especialmente organizadas para ellos en el Kids Club como psicomotricidad, acampada, arts and crafts, juegos y proyectos educativos enfocados a potenciar su creatividad y el trabajo en equipo dentro de dinámicas o hilos conductores con temáticas muy marcadas como Harry Potter en la primera quincena, donde todos los alumnos han obtenido su diploma de mago, mientras que en la segunda se han convertido en cazadores y entrenadores de Pokémon. Además, han podido practicar deportes alternativos

como la escalada en rocódromo. El Football Campus, donde el factor competitivo y el lúdico han ido de la mano en las sesiones de entrenamiento, ha contado con la participación de chicos y chicas a los que se ha potenciado los valores positivos necesarios para competir en el fútbol y en el entorno social de manera constructiva. Dirigido por los docentes D. Isaac Álvarez y D. Juan Carlos Álvarez,

este campus ha contado con invitados de excepción como José Herrera, Entrenador de Fútbol UEFA Pro y ex-Granada CF y Málaga CF, y Álvaro Echevarne, Preparador Físico Profesional de Fútbol, también ex-Granada CF y Málaga CF, así como Preparador Físico del St. Joseph, que ha competido en la UEFA Conference League este pasado mes de Junio. Los alumnos mayores han entrenado específicamente un deporte de su elección en el curso Junior Sports: tenis o pádel, combinándolo con natación. Y los estudiantes de Primaria han combinado multitud de actividades en el Multi-Activity Summer Camp. El inglés es una constante en todos estos cursos, que cuentan con profesores nativos y bilingües del colegio para hacer de estos días una experiencia enriquecedora en todos los sentidos. Ya son más de 20 años de experiencia en el interiorismo y la decoración. Cuéntanos un poco más de tu trayectoria en Sotogrande. He crecido en Sotogrande, mis abuelos vivían aquí y he conocido otro Sotogrande totalmente diferente al de ahora. Provengo de una familia con una larga tradición en el mundo de las antigüedades y la arquitectura. Desde que terminé en Madrid la carrera de Arquitectura de Interiores en IADE en el año 1999, volví a Sotogrande y comencé a trabajar junto a otros profesionales de la decoración y la arquitectura. Quiero aprovechar esta ocasión para expresar mi máximo respeto y agradecimiento a la persona que durante 20 años me ha permitido adquirir la experiencia necesaria para ejercer mi profesión. Las tendencias, el color, la luz y el lifestyle de Sotogrande son

The tool to resolve conflicts

Atractores Motivacionales: la

Motivational Attractors are a tool that is used to quickly gain a better and deeper understanding of how the conflict situation is experienced by each of the parties involved. What it offers is, on one hand, information and on the other, exercises and guidelines to help to find new solutions for the problem. Although it is a tool for conflict managers, anyone with the right training or assistance can apply it to manage conflicts at home, work or in the community of residents. Those who are interested in the matter should not hesitate to request information from me. What does it involve? A series of guidelines to gain a broader approach to the problem and thus provide new solutions. It works thanks to a classification of motivations against conflict in 6 groups or Motivational Attractors (AM), from the least to the most complex: ASSURANCE, POWER, DUTY, SUCCESS, BELONGING AND INTEGRATION. Each group explains its vision of the problem and indicates how to overcome it and think more broadly. By applying Motivational Attractors, we manage to take a step back, gain a better understanding of a situation, view the conflict as something transient and focus on what is really going to motivate that person -or group of people- to get out of the deadlock. The idea on which this is based is that no ways of thinking are better than others, but rather more complex and integrative than others and the more perspectives we consider when analysing a situation, the easier it will be to create agreements. In order to identify the predominant Motivational Attractor of the people in conflict it is possible to give each of them a short questionnaire -10 minutes- whose results will provide clues about the future scenario on which to visualise the resolved conflict. It will be a scenario built on the Motivational Attractor that follows the predominant one in terms of complexity, that which includes it and transcends it. For example, if the predominant Motivational Attractor is Assurance, the conflict manager will ask questions and reformulations guided towards, AM-Power, if it is Power, towards AM-Duty, if it is duty, towards AM-Personal Success, if it is Success, towards AM-Belonging. It is a very positive reflective exercise. Deadlock in communication and creativity is most commonly formed around the four first Attractors: Assurance, Power, Duty and Success, as they are linked to partial ways of seeing things and emotions such as fear, anger, violence, prejudices, anger, suffering, competitiveness, envy and, in general, factors that increase a problem. On the other hand, Inclusion -belonging to a group- and, especially, Integration -shared solutions-, are Motivational Attractors through which it is easier to reach agreements, and towards which we, the mediators and conflict managers, try to broaden the perspectives of the people in conflict. The easiest solution that, at the same time, entails a greater complexity of factors will always be the most sustainable over time, therefore it is worthwhile learning to take a broad perspective. Funciona gracias a una clasificación de las motivaciones frente al conflicto en 6 grupos o Atractores Motivacionales (AM), del menos al más complejo: SEGURIDAD, PODER, DEBER, ÉXITO, PERTENENCIA e INTEGRACIÓN. Cada grupo explica la visión del problema e indica cómo trascenderla y pensar con más amplitud. Aplicando Atractores Motivacionales logramos tomar distancia, entender mejor una situación, contemplar el conflicto como algo transitorio y enfocarnos hacia lo que realmente va a motivar a esa persona – o grupo de personas- a salir del bloqueo. La idea que reside en la base de esto es que no hay formas de pensar mejores que otras, sino más complejas e integrativas que otras y cuantas más perspectivas consideremos al analizar una situación, más fácil será crear acuerdos. Por otro lado, la Inclusión -pertenecer al grupo- y, especialmente, la Integración -soluciones compartidas-, son Atractores Motivacionales desde los cuales es más fácil llegar a acuerdos, y hacía ellos tratamos, los mediadores y gestores de conflictos, de ampliar las perspectivas de las personas enfrentadas. La solución más simple que, al mismo tiempo, considere una mayor complejidad de factores será siempre la más sostenible en el tiempo, por eso merece la pena aprender a mirar con amplitud. Recriminan la dejadez y mala imagen de una escombrera en el paseo de Los Canos El PIVG, a través de su portavoz Jesús Mayoral, reivindicó que desde hace más de dos meses, en una parcela municipal en el paseo de Los Canos de Guadiaro, frente al recinto ferial, habían comenzado a “dejar escombros de obra y material orgánico, que los vecinos que pasan por una vía tan transitada, no salen de su asombro pero ahora ya no se trata de una pequeña escombrera, han vertido varias cubas de materiales de obra y se ha hecho de un tamaño considerable, quedando a la vista desde la vía pública”.

Pero lo más alarmante, explica, “es que en los escombros de material de obra vertido recientemente se encuentran restos de lozas de pavimento del viario público y trozos de asfaltado y ese tipo de material el ayuntamiento debe saber de qué obra de reparación vial procede”, explica. “Nos han puesto en conocimiento que al menos parte de esos vertidos parece que corresponden a una obra de reparación, que el ayuntamiento, no sé sabemos si de forma directa, está realizando junto a la entrada del cortijo de Los Canos. Si fuese así sería

A falta de unas pocas semanas para que se celebre la PING Junior Solheim Cup 2021, se ha confirmado la presencia de siete integrantes del equipo europeo y entre ellas figuran Cayetana Fernández y Andrea Revuelta, dos de las amateurs españolas de trayectoria más brillante a lo largo de la temporada 2021. La PING Junior Solheim Cup 2021 se jugará el 1 y 2 de septiembre en el Sylvania Country Club de Toledo, Ohio (EE. Si eres amante de la ciencia ficción estas de enhorabuena, Amazon Prime Video estrena una superproducción de este género protagonizada por el carismático Chris Pratt (Guardianes de la Galaxia). Una película que mezcla la acción con el drama teniendo como ingredientes principales los saltos al futuro y los alienígenas.
