Pocas veces nos planteamos alternativas reales a un escenario en el que sea continuada la falta del líquido elemento pero en ocasiones, como las circunstancias actuales, se presenta un contexto de alarmante sequía que condicionará el consumo habitual de para el Campo de Gibraltar y su entorno.

Water is the most necessary asset that exists in nature and is absolutely essential in every regard for any living being. We rarely consider real alternatives for a scenario where there a continuous lack of the liquid element, but sometimes, as in the current circumstances, there is an alarming drought context that will constrain the normal consumption of Campo de Gibraltar and its surrounding area. The reserves of the main supply reservoirs in the Province are practically below the minimum reserves, a circumstance that has forced (as we explained in the February edition of El Periódico de Sotogrande), the Association of Municipalities (in agreement with the Regional Government of the Province, formed by the different mayors), to take a series of measures regarding the consumption of water.

Las reservas de los principales pantanos de abastecimiento en la Comarca se encuentran prácticamente bajo mínimos de reservas, una circunstancia que ha obligado (como ya explicamos en la edición de febrero de El Periódico de Sotogrande), a la Mancomunidad de Municipios (en consenso con la Junta de Comarca, formada por los diferentes alcaldes), a tomar una serie de medidas respecto al consumo del agua. Estas mismas se trataron en un encuentro de trabajo extraordinario de los dirigentes de ARCGISA (empresa pública mancomunidad que gestiona el abastecimiento de agua), con los principales responsables de los campos de golf de la zona para establecer unas pautas comunes para preservar agua. Precisamente, siendo una de las más llamativas (pueden ver la noticia en la página 6), la solicitud de reducir hasta en un 30% el consumo de agua previsto para riego. Esta medida es muy desigual para los diferentes campos; algunos de la zona cuentan con sistemas de suministro de agua a través de canales de depuración y reutilización de aguas pero no todos, por lo que la cuestión es más que preocupante para unos que para otros. Y esto nos lleva a la siguiente cuestión. Debe plantearse como prioridad, tanto en Mancomunidad como en otras alternativas, con los campos de golf como principales abanderados, la ejecución de proyectos como el de Gibralmedina o canalizar las depuradoras de Algeciras o La Línea hasta los campos de golf de la zona para mandar agua reutilizable para el riego. Estamos en crisis de agua pero debemos trabajar con vistas a la siguiente (que antes o después vendrá) y por un sistema de riego más sostenible. Los campos están por la labor, falta el apoyo de las administraciones.

These were addressed in an extraordinary work meeting of the leaders of ARCGISA (the public company that manages water supply), with the main managers of the golf courses in the area in order to establish common guidelines for preserving water. Indeed, one of the most striking (you can see the story on page 6), is the request to reduce the water consumption provided for irrigation by 30%. This measure is very uneven for the different courses; some in the area have water supply systems through channels for the purification and reuse of water but not all of them, therefore the issue is more concerning for some than it is for others. And this leads us to the following issue. It must be considered as a priority, both in the Association of Municipalities and in other alternative, with the golf courses as the main standard bearers, the implementation of projects such as Gibralmedina and channelling the treatment plants of Algeciras and La Línea to the golf courses in the area in order to send reusable water for irrigation. We are in a water crisis but we need to work looking ahead to the next one (which will happen sooner or later) and towards a more sustainable irrigation system. The courses are ready for up to the task, the support of the administrations is lacking.

Existen muchos factores a la hora de llevar a cabo un cambio de residencia, la compra de una segunda vivienda o simplemente una inversión que no se considere de riesgo en el mercado inmobiliario. Aspectos económicos, familiares, geográficos, meteorológicos, financieros, deporte y vida saludable, sostenibilidad, conexiones de transporte, seguridad, discreción, calidad, servicios y un larguísimo etcétera son siempre conceptos y aspectos a tener en cuenta y sobre lo que reflexionar. Sotogrande los cumple todos y cada uno de ellos a un cierto nivel de exigencia alto, algo que ya le haría convertirse como destino en un entorno difícilmente equiparable a otros del sur de Europa pero es que además, desde hace unos años, se ha consolidado un factor más a la suma que con toda seguridad ejerce de valor diferencia. Sotogrande se encuentra rodeado de un ecosistema a nivel educativo de primerísimo nivel, de los mejores de todo el país y refrendado por numerosas listas y clasificaciones especializadas y de prestigio en el sector de la educación. La apuesta desde hace años del Colegio Internacional de Sotogrande por un sistema educativo innovador, vanguardista y vinculado al formato británico (sumado el Bachillerato Internacional), ya colocaba el nombre de la urbanización entre los entornos más favorables para familias de alto poder adquisitivo que buscan colegios de gran calidad. En los últimos años casi dobla su número de matriculados el internacional sotograndino. Pero lo mejor de todo ello es que no se reduce al puro ámbito del Valle del Guadiaro (en el que también cohabitan varios centros públicos de muy alta calidad e implicación en el segmento educativo de la zona, con modelos muy avanzados y con aulas que aglutinan escolares de más de 40 nacionalidades diferentes, una gran riqueza cultural). A pocos minutos y con una red de transporte excelsa, el Colegio San José es otro de los grandes referentes educativos en la zona, con más de un centenar de alumnos (bastantes más) que se desplazan a diario hasta sus formidables instalaciones. Con Bachillerato Internacional, idiomas, escuela de música y mucho más que lo convierten en un de los centros más galardonados de toda la zona. Y como ése algunos más que se extienden por toda la comarca e incluso dentro del peñón. Sotogrande cuenta con una herramienta más de alto nivel que contar y sacar a relucir. Arcgisa pide a los campos de golf reducir en un 30% el consumo de riego El Presidente de la Mancomunidad, Juan Lozano, junto a al director general de Arcgisa, José Manuel Alcántara y miembros de la empresa pública mantuvieron un encuentro con todos los representantes de los campos de golf de la comarca para abordar la actual situación de sequía y coordinar y planificar las actuaciones a llevar a cabo a partir del 18 de abril momento en el que se adoptaran medidas que afectarán a la totalidad de la comarca del Campo de Gibraltar en el caso de continuar persistiendo la actual ausencia de precipitaciones Desde la empresa pública se solicitó al sector una reducción de un 25% al 30% del consumo actual, hecho que representa un enorme esfuerzo por parte de todos los

campos de golf, muy superior al solicitado a la población. Arcgisa recordó que actualmente el sector del golf consume el 7% del total del agua abastecida en nuestra comarca. Igualmente, Arcgisa agradeció a todos los responsables de los clubes comarcales el trabajo que ya están ejecutando en materia de eficiencia hídrica, adoptando medidas concretas para el riego de los campos, dentro de las cuales está la utilización de aguas regeneradas por algunos de los 9 campos existentes. Al encuentro asistieron los responsables de Alcaidesa, San Roque Club, Real Club de Sotogrande, Almenara, La Reserva, La Cañada y Valderrama. La reunión, enmarcada den-

tro del conjunto de actuaciones que la empresa pública está llevando a cabo con todos los sectores afectados ante la necesidad de reducir el consumo de agua para garantizar el abastecimiento comarcal hasta final de año, tiene una especial importancia ante el valor de la industria del golf como motor fundamental de la promoción y el desarrollo turístico del Campo de Gibraltar y, por tanto, por su notable repercusión en la económica comarcal.

Arcgisa asks golf courses to reduce irrigation by 30% The President of the Association of Municipalities, Juan Lozano, alongside the director general of Arcgisa, José Manuel Alcántara and members of the public company held a meeting with all the representatives of the golf courses in the province to address the current drought situation and coordinate and plan the actions to carry out from 18 April, the point when measures will be adopted that will affect all of the province of Campo de Gibraltar in the event that the current absence of rainfall continues. Guerra y economía Cuando cientos de personas están muriendo en una nueva guerra en suelo europeo, hablar de economía parece irrespetuoso y absurdo. Sin embargo, la economía forma parte del problema, y quizá también de su solución. Las ansias imperiales de Vladimir Putin han sido copiosamente financiadas por unos países europeos que han pasado a comprarle a Rusia cada vez más petróleo y gas, mientras prohibían el carbón, cerraban sus centrales nucleares, y pretendían realizar una transición energética pura, limpia y barata. Era todo un peligroso espejismo. Las sanciones económicas, incluyendo el veto del presidente Biden a la energía rusa, podrán dañar al régimen de Moscú, y también animar las protestas internas contra Putin. Todo ello, más las víctimas de la guerra y el aislamiento internacional, podría deteriorar su imagen y socavar su poder. Pero mientras ansiamos que Putin se debilite y que no aumente la lista de muertos en Ucrania, hay que reconocer que la guerra, como siempre, impone también costes econó-

micos a todos los países, no solo a la Rusia invasora y la Ucrania invadida, sino sobre el mundo, desde los países subdesarrollados compradores del trigo ucraniano, hasta los países europeos cuyos ciudadanos, como sucede ahora en España, comprueban inquietos que los precios, en particular los de la energía y los combustibles, suben sin cesar. Es lógico que la guerra tensione los

mercados. Y es también esperable que los Gobiernos la utilicen como chivo expiatorio para contener el descontento de los ciudadanos. Así, nuestras autoridades insisten en que nuestro empobrecimiento es culpa de Putin. Ignoramos, por supuesto, y hablando de costes, a cuánto ascenderán finalmente los costes económicos que deberemos pagar, y los costes políticos que afrontarán nuestros gobernantes, en la medida en que no consigan convencernos de que ellos no son en absoluto culpables de nuestro desasosiego cuando pagamos la luz, la gasolina, y todo lo demás.

War and economy When hundreds of people are dying in a new war on European soil, it seems disrespectful and absurd to talk about the economy. However, the economy is part of the problem, and perhaps also part of the solution. The imperial longings of Vladimir Putin have been abundantly funded by European countries that have moved to buy an increasing amount of oil and gas from Russia, while they banned coal, closed their nuclear stations, and aimed to carry out a pure, clean and cheap energy transition. It was all a dangerous

mirage. The economic sanctions, including the veto by President Biden on Russian energy, could damage the Moscow regime and also encourage internal protests against Putin. All of this, in addition to the war victims and international isolation, could damage his image and undermine his power. However, while we long for Putin to be weakened and for the list of dead in Ukraine not to rise, we must acknowledge that war, as always, also imposes economic costs on all countries, not only on

Trabajar en el equilibrio entre la salud de cuerpo y mente, con gran secreto de belleza estética. Fabuloso taller ilustrativo, impartido por la prestigiosa Golden Clinic en La Reserva Club de Sotogrande. El evento contó con la presencia de varios profesionales, tanto del sector de la estética y belleza como del mundo de la psicología, para dar a los asistentes algunas pequeñas claves y consejos sobre los mejores cuidados a nivel de salud y belleza. El Pleno respalda la recuperación del servicio de transporte urbano El Salón de Sesiones del Palacio de los Gobernadores acogió el Pleno Ordinario de la Corporación correspondiente al mes de febrero. La aprobación del proyecto para la finalización de la II fase del Paseo Marítimo de Torreguadiaro y la recuperación del servicio de transporte urbano fueron dos de los puntos más El Pleno acogió por unanimidad la inclusión de la aprobación de la propuesta para poner a disposición de Demarcación de Costas de Andalucía-Atlántico de la Dirección General de Sostenibilidad de la Costa y el Mar perteneciente al Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica, la totalidad de los terrenos para la completa ejecución de las obras, relativas al proyecto “Recuperación ambiental del borde litoral de Torreguadiaro (Fase II)”, redactado por los Servicios Técnicos del Ilustre Ayuntamiento de San Roque.Por lo que el Ayuntamiento acuerda ceder al Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica tres parcelas

municipales, con una superficie total de más de 2.000 metros cuadrados, para su incorporación al dominio público marítimo terrestre una vez finalizadas y recepcionadas las obras de la segunda fase del Paseo Marítimo de Torreguadiaro por la Demarcación de Costas de Andalucía-Atlántico. El Ayuntamiento se compromete al mantenimiento y conservación de las citadas obras una vez finalizadas. Con un presupuesto de 731.000 euros (IVA incluido) y un plazo de ejecución de 8 meses, el Ministerio proyecta un paseo peatonal litoral, ajardinado, con un ancho de 6 metros que define y limita el borde de la playa. En su extremo Sur, el paseo se conecta al paseo ya ejecutado resolviendo definitivamente el frente marítimo de la Barriada de Pescadores, y evitando futuras ocupaciones de dominio público así como el acceso vehicular indiscriminado que padece actualmente la playa de dicho frente. Se aprobó también la propuesta

para declarar la validez del acto licitatorio y requerimiento a la empresa UTE Autocares Lara, S.L. y Horizontes Sur, S.L., para que constituya la garantía definitiva en relación a la concesión del servicio municipal de “Transporte urbano colectivo de viajeros en el Término Municipal de San Roque”. La UTE compuesta por las empresas Autocares Lara y Horizonte Sur ha sido la adjudicataria de este servicio tras

el pertinente proceso de licitación al ser la oferta más económica. Se establece un precio de 260.000 euros (IVA incluido). El plazo de ejecución del contrato será de diez años, con posibilidad de prórroga por un máximo de cinco años. En el contrato se establece que el servicio de autobuses será gratuito para las personas empadronadas en el municipio, si bien se prevén servicios extraordinarios en fechas

especiales, como Feria Real o Viernes Santo, en los que se podrá cobrar un máximo de un euro. En los anexos del pliego técnico se prevén dos líneas de autobuses: la Azul (Bahía/San Roque/Estación de San Roque); y Roja (Guadiaro/San Roque). Los horarios posibilitarán el trasbordo de viajeros en la parada de la Alameda Alfonso XI. Se prevén dos microbuses de 25 plazas, así como otro de reserva.

At its southern end, the promenade connects to the already created promenade, with the sea front ending at the District of Fishermen, and avoiding future occupancies of public domain as well as the indiscriminate vehicular access that the beach on that front currently suffers. Approval was also given to de-

clare the validity of the bidding proceedings and request by the joint venture company Autocares Lara, S.L. and Horizontes Sur, S.L. to establish the definitive guarantee in relation to the concession of the municipal service for “Collective urban transport of travellers in the Municipality of San Roque”. The joint venture formed by the companies Autocares Lara and Horizonte Sur was awarded this service after the relevant bidding process as it was the most affordable bid. A price of 260,000 (VAT included) has been set. The implementation period of the contract will be ten years, with the option of an extension for a maximum of five years.

The contract stipulates that the service will be free for people registered in the municipality, although they foresee extraordinary services on special dates such as the Royal Fair and Good Friday, where it will be possible to charge a maximum of one Euro. In the annexes of the specifications two lines of buses are planned: The Blue line (Bahía/San Roque/Estación de San Roque); and the Red line (Guadiaro/San Roque). The timetables will enable the transfer of travellers at the stop Alameda Alfonso XI. Two mini buses with 25 seats are planned, as well as another replacement bus are planned.

Los días 24 y 25 de febrero tuvo lugar MUN San José 2022. Tras la preparación en clase, los alumnos de 3º de Secundaria han manifestado su interés por las relaciones internacionales y han debatido durante estos dos días sobre temas de relevancia mundial poniendo de manifiesto sus habilidades de diálogo, diplomacia, dialéctica, trabajo en grupo, oratoria, resolución de conflictos, construcción de consenso, cooperación y liderazgo. La tecnología ha posibilitado la conexión y el trabajo conjunto entre los alumnos de Guadalmina y de Estepona quienes, en el Acto de Clausura de esta edición, han manifestado en varios idiomas un mensaje de preocupación por la situación actual de guerra en Ucrania destacando la necesidad hacer pervivir los valores del consenso, el entendimiento y el diálogo para encontrar una respuesta a puntos de vista y pareceres opuestos. Febrero y marzo han sido meses importantes, cargados de alegrías, celebraciones y conmemoraciones: Inauguramos los lunes de leche con una partida que nos dio la junta dentro del programa creciendo en salud, brindamos por paz creando las grullas de la historia de sadako, y celebramos San Valentín con cartas de las familias destinadas a sus niños. A final de febrero llenamos el cole de disfraces, nos convertimos en superhéroes de fantasía y distintas profesiones, en monstruos, princesas, y un sinfín de personajes. Aca-

Objetivo: divertirse y aprender con valores

bamos el día cantando chirigotas al aire libre, algunas famosas y otras inventadas por nosotros mismos. ¡Qué bien lo pasamos! ¡Cuánto echamos de menos juntarnos, compartir, volver a ser con normalidad. Además del carnaval, celebramos el día de nuestra tierra decorando las puertas de todas las aulas de cada una de las provincias andaluzas, y degustamos un desayuno de productos típicos autóctonos gracias a nuestro AMPA, que nos mimó preparándonos las tostadas y hasta colándonos el zumito de naranja.

No menos importante ha sido la conmemoración del 8 d marzo donde hemos conocido a grandes e importantes mujeres de la historia, y hemos recibido la visita de madres con trabajos coeducativos: policía, empresaria, arquitecta… qué suerte. Por último, contar que vamos dando pasitos hacia el bienestar pasado, y cada vez recuperamos más cositas, así que mejor ejemplo que citar la vuelta a las salidas, en este caso de infantil y primer ciclo al cine de la zona. Hasta la próxima entrega! Seguiremos aprendiendo y divirtiéndonos.

We ended the day singing chirigotas (Spanish folk songs) outdoors, some famous and others invented by ourselves. We had a really great time1 How we missed gathering, sharing, returning to normality. In addition to carnival, we celebrated the day of our region decorating the doors of all the classrooms with each of the Andalusian provinces, and we sampled a breakfast with typical local products thanks to our parent´s association, which spoiled us by preparing us toast and even

squeezing the fresh orange juice. No less important was the commemoration of 8 March where we learned about great and important women from history and we had visits from mothers with co-educational jobs: police woman, business woman, architect... how lucky. Lastly, we are taking little steps towards the wellbeing of the past, and recovering more and more things, and there is no better example than mentioning the return to outings, in this case of pre-school and primary to the cinema in the area. Until next time! We will continue to learn and have fun.

La técnica del sándwich para la comunicación asertiva

Assertiveness is the capacity to say what we need, think and feel with sincerity, clarity and without offending the other person, that is to say, with respect for ourselves and others. It is a social skill that greatly encourages dialogue in mediation and helps to avoid the parties in conflict goes to the extremes of aggressiveness or passivity. The sandwich technique is used to put assertive skills into practice. It consists of expressing a critique or a refusal by putting it between two positive statements, before and after. Its objective is to communicate what we feel, need and want, without harming or damage the speaker, and in turn, minimising our possible fear of rejection by saying what we truly think and feel. It is useful both for making a request, and for saying no to something. It also works well when it comes to making a criticism, communicating something that requires delicacy or expressing a controversial opinion. It is carried out through these three simple steps: 1. First step: The first thing is to empathise with the other person, putting ourselves in their shoes and making them know that we understand their opinion, situation and motives. Thus, we get the person to be favourably predisposed to listening to what we are going to say to them and minimise their rejection. For example, “I understand that this project is important for you and that you have spent weeks of hard and intensive work on it without yet achieving your objectives” 2. Second step: Secondly, we are going to convey the key message that we want to send in a clear and concise way. Following on with the example, it would be “... however, I don´t like how you talked to me yesterday, I don´t believe that this is the right way, I would ask you please to talk to me in a more respectful tone”. 3. Third step: We will end by communicating a positive message with spirit and closeness, “I know that you are going to take it into account and will try to prevent it being repeated, I trust you, I am here to help you, talking to each other with respect strengthens our relationship”. In order for the sandwich technique to work, it is essential to follow the three steps in order, perhaps even prepare them and use language that is comfortable for both parties. Incorporating techniques such as this into our communicative habits strengthens healthy emotions, as when we do it, it is coherent with what we feel and think, we are acting in line with our objectives and values.

Es una habilidad social que favorece grandemente el dialogo en mediación y ayuda a evitar que las partes en conflicto se vayan a los extremos de la agresividad o la pasividad. Su objetivo es comunicar lo que sentimos, necesitamos y queremos, sin herir ni dañar al interlocutor, y a su vez, minimizar nuestro posible miedo al rechazo por decir lo que verdaderamente pensamos y sentimos. Es útil tanto para hacer una petición, como para decir que no a algo. También funciona bien a la hora de hacer una crítica, comunicar algo que exige delicadeza o expresar una opinión controvertida. Incorporar técnicas como esta a nuestros hábitos comunicativos refuerza una sana emocionalidad, pues cuando lo que hacemos guarda coherencia con lo que sentimos y pensamos estamos actuamos en consonancia con nuestros objetivos y valores.

¿Quién no ha escuchado una música y se ha transportado a un momento indescriptible de felicidad?, ¿ o se ha sentido sumamente triste?. ¿Cómo afecta la música a nuestro cerebro? Desde hace tiempo se han venido realizando diversos estudios sobre la influencia de la música en nuestro cerebro. Junto con la poesía y la danza, la música es un arte sublime, grabado en nuestra cultura. Nos une sin importar las diferencias, las cuales pasan a un segundo plano. Tiene tres componentes principales: la melodía, la armonía y el ritmo. Nuestros ancestros ya se valían de elementos de la naturaleza para desarrollar estos sonidos. Llevamos la música de forma innata, dato constatable en los bebés, que al oír el tono suave y rítmico de los padres, empiezan a sonreír, relajarse y/o dormir. Siempre se ha dicho que la música “amansa a las fieras” y es que cuando empezamos a escuchar determinada música podemos acceder a momentos de calma y serenidad. Su beneficio se incrementa al tocar un instrumento así como componiendo. Impacta en procesos cognitivos, emociones y movimiento. Pone en marcha diferentes circuitos neuronales, implicando a ambos hemisferios. En particular se produce una activación de la amígdala, localizada en el lóbulo temporal del sistema límbico, encargada del procesamiento y depósito de las emociones. Aún más, con respecto a los procesos cognitivos, se aumentan los niveles de atención, aprendizaje, potenciandose al mismo tiempo la creatividad, los pensamientos y las ideas. Así mismo, la música puede hacer segregar dopamina, neurotransmisor que nos genera felicidad. No toda clase de música es vá-

San Roque se incorpora a la Red de Destinos Turísticos Inteligentes La Comisión Ejecutiva de la Red de Destinos Turísticos Inteligentes aprobó la incorporación de 102 nuevos miembros titulares, entre los que se incluye San Roque. La Red de Destinos Turísticos Inteligentes, iniciativa de la sociedad estatal Segittur, celebra su tercer aniversario con un total de 483 miembros; de los que 328 son destinos, 63 son instituciones, 89 empresas colaboradoras y tres observadores internacionales. La Red, constituida inicialmente con 47 miembros titulares y 10 instituciones entre ellas la Mancomunidad de Municipios del Campo de Gibraltar, nació con el objetivo de promover un nuevo marco de referencia para consolidar la competitividad del modelo turístico español, a la vez que se pretendía que fuera un ejemplo de colaboración público-privada. Ese objetivo es hoy una realidad, ha-

biéndose consolidado el modelo de destinos turísticos inteligentes, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, a la vez que la Red DTI se ha convertido en un nexo de unión del sector turístico público y privado, donde gestores de destinos, instituciones y empresas comparten conocimiento, casos de éxito y buenas prácticas. Todo ello con el único fin de mejorar la competitivi-

dad del turismo en España. Gracias al trabajo de la Red también ha sido posible la publicación de manuales y guías de buenas prácticas vinculados con la adaptación de las playas al contexto del Covid-19, la creación de páginas de promoción turística, la digitalización, entre otros. Asimismo, se han constituido varios grupos de trabajo donde se analizan

temáticas concretas para identificar problemas comunes a los que dar respuesta. La formación ha sido otra de las actividades principales de la Red, con cursos de formación para dar a conocer el modelo de destinos turísticos inteligentes, así como los detalles de ejes que lo conforman, desde la innovación a la tecnología, pasando por la sostenibili-

dad, la gobernanza y la accesibilidad. A ello se han sumado los webinars quincenales en los que se tratan temas de máxima actualidad vinculados con la gestión de los destinos. Asimismo, se ha creado un directorio de soluciones tecnológicas para los destinos turísticos inteligentes, que son claves para los gestores de los destinos.

A 5-star golf circuit The best golf is returning, the best spectacle is returning, the best atmosphere is returning, Sotogrande Golf Circuit is back. The ninth edition of the leading and benchmark tournament in Sotogrande and its area of influence has created the new road map and calendar of events for the 2022 season. A new campaign that will involve several of the best golf courses in southern Europe. An edition in which old friends are returning and that already has a venue for the Grand Finale: the historic Real Club de Golf Sotogrande (18 November). The adventure gets underway on 4 June at La Reserva Club Sotogrande, an eagerly awaited return for the players. The second event is taking place at Almenara Golf – SO/ Sotogrande (9 July), it continues with a course that is new on the circuit, nothing less than the New Course at La Zagaleta (20 August). The newly renovated Links course at La Hacienda (3 September), a real classic; before it ends for the second consecutive year at the competitive Fairplay (1 October). The challenge begins.

La Zagaleta acoge la presentación de la PING Junior Solheim Cup 2023 El club de golf La Zagaleta acogió, como anfitrión del evento, la presentación de la PING Junior Solheim Cup 2023, competición destinada a jugadoras junior que antecede a la celebración de la Solheim Cup 2023 en Finca Cortesín. Al acto acudieron multitud de personalidades entre las que se encontraban Manuel Muñoz, secretario general para el Turismo de la Junta de Andalucía; Antonio Díaz, director gerente de Turismo Costa del Sol; José Antonio Mena, alcalde de Benahavís; Gonzaga Escauriaza, presidente de la RFEG; Jacobo Cestino, CEO de La Zagaleta; Berti Hurt, miembro de la Junta Directiva; Javier Carretero, miembro de la junta directa de socios externos; Eva-Lotta Strömlid, directora de proyecto de la PING Junior Solheim Cup; Pablo Bernárdez, director de la PING Junior Solheim Cup 2023 y Pablo Mansilla, presidente de la RFGA. ‘Alcaidesa Marina’ se apunta el segundo tanto del Circuito J/80 El monotipo ‘Alcaidesa Marina’ se apuntó el segundo tanto de las series de invierno del Circuito Alcaidesa Marina de J/80, tras la segunda jornada bajo condiciones casi extremas por el capricho de un levante racheado y rolón que rozó los 25 nudos de intensidad. Demostrando que hasta que acaba la partida todo está en juego, el ‘Península’ perdía hoy el liderato provisional alcanzado en la jornada anterior por un golpe de mala suerte en la segunda prueba de tres, lo que a falta de descarte no le ha permitido lucir sus dos victorias en las pruebas restantes. No hay cambios en el tercer puesto que se confirma para el ‘Eureka Tech’ de Javier Madrid con Rafael Díaz al mando, equipo que ha sabido mantener la línea sumando por este orden un 3º, 2º y 4º. De nuevo el ‘Aponia’ de Petter Fjelstad era su mayor obstáculo pero ha podido mantenerlo a raya y meterle tres puntos con un 4º y dos 3º del noruego.
