Es muy importante estar en los aspectos de desarrollo y crecimiento de un destino. Es más que obvio que en estos días, muchas entidades y administraciones ya están poniendo el ojo en el próximo FITUR 2024, en planes de marketing, de comunicación, de ventas y de comercialización de productos alrededor de una imagen de destino integral. Mostrar lo mejor de un lugar. En todas esas, Sotogrande, obviamente, tiene muchísimo que vender, que mostrar, que preparar y que presumir, por decirlo de algún modo, sobre todos esos activos que mostramos en cuanto tenemos ocasión. Servicios, seguridad, discreción, arquitectura y diseño, calidad de vida, naturaleza, baja densidad de construcción, educación, deporte de alto nivel, etc. Una suma inmejorable e insuperable. Pero también hay una serie de “debes” en la agenda a los que hacer frente más pronto que tarde. Lejos de hacer una ‘Wish list’ o todo lo contrario, de asuntos pendientes, se tratan de varias cuestiones prolongadas en el tiempo que deberían, a nivel deddesitno, acometerse de una manera u otra. Tomar una decisión al respecto de la desembocadura del río Guadiaro, precisar y perfilar una resolución al REM de la Marina y los conflictos vecinales que hace tiempo ello genera; crear un entorno (arcenes, cunetas, rotondas, etc.) adecuado al contexto de la urbanización en accesos y vías; planificar las repoblaciones de arena en la playa o incluso, crear un plan súper necesario de aprovechamiento de agua en zonas altas de la urbanización. Todo eso creará un mejor destino y elevará los servicios, calidad y evidentemente, una revalorización de las propiedades. Resolver, crecer. Que tengan unas felices fiestas y un próspero año nuevo.

Un año inolvidable

An unforgettable year

La de esta edición [436] es para mí una de las más complicadas de escribir en estos 25 años de El Periódico de Sotogrande. No por lo delicado del tema, sino por un pequeño accidente que me tiene algo mermado en el brazo izquierdo. Con paciencia, seguro que tecleamos algunas ideas importantes para dejar en el histórico y en nuestra biblioteca, del que estoy seguro es uno de los años más inolvidables que recuerdo en Sotogrande, este 2023 será complicado que escape de nuestros recuerdos. En la primera mitad del periódico encontrará un breve recordatorio, a modo simbólico, de algunos de los hitos y acontecimientos más destacados del calendario, pero son sólo eso, titulares y algunos pocos; de lo mucho que ha ocurrido. Sotogrande, estoy convencido, experimentará en cuanto a su dimensión como destino un antes y un después de este año, con la consolidación de varios desafíos que ahora parecen corrientes pero que ponerlos en marcha, son todo un reto y un esfuerzo de comunidad a la altura de muy pocos lugares en el mundo. Más allá de todo lo que disfrutamos a menudo y no valoramos, esos concursos hípicos de primer nivel internacional que organiza Dos Lunas, los 10 años del Hospital Quirónsalud en Palmones (excelencia de la sanidad privada en la Comarca); la apertura de Supermercados El Corte Inglés en el antiguo Supercor que eleva la oferta hasta más de 15.000 referencias con marcas ‘premium’ en su establecimiento o congregar a más de 15.000 personas en Sotogrande para disfrutar de la música de Manuel Carrasco (estoy casi seguro que una cifra récord en la urbanización). El deporte ha brillado con mayúsculas esta temporada en Sotogrande. Desde la subida a 22 goles en le Nivel Alto del Torneo Internacional de Polo, que propició la llegada de algunas de las más importantes organizaciones del mundo y estrellas de este deporte; a la gesta más absoluta del golf. En sólo unas semanas disfrutar de alto tan influyente de manera internacional como es LIV Golf en el Real Club Valderrama o el desembarco en el Real Club de Golf Sotogrande del Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters, hay que sumarle a un tiro de piedra la Solheim Cup en Finca Cortesín. ¿Quién puede dar más? Se lo digo yo, nadie. Pero sin lugar a dudas, tampoco olvidaremos este curso por ser el de nuestras bodas de plata como medio de comunicación por excelencia de la urbanización. Los 25 años de El Periódico de Sotogrande, coronados por esa inolvidable cena de gala en Valderrama, es y será algo tan especial que permanece aún como una de esas noches que pasarán a formar parte de la historia de Sotogrande. Gracias a todos por hacerlo posible: equipo, empresas colaboradores y en especial, a vosotros, los lectores. Gracias y seguiremos remando por un 2024 lleno de buenas noticias. ¡Felices Fiestas! The letter of this edition [436] is for me one of the most difficult to write in the 25 years of El Periódico de Sotogrande. Not because of the sensitivity of the topic, but rather because a little accident has somewhat limited my left arm. Patiently, I am sure we will type some important ideas to leave for history and in our library, about what I am sure is one of the most unforgettable years I can remeber in Sotogrande, this 2023 will be hard to forget. In the first half of the newspaper you will find a short remind, in a symbolic way, of some of the most notetworthy milestones and events of the year, but not only that, headlines and just a few a few; about the many things that happened. Sotogrande, I am convinced, will experience, in terms of its dimension as a destination, a turning point this year, with the consolidation of several challenges that now seem common but which launching, is a real challenge and effort for the community that very few places worldwide are capable of. In addition to everything that we often enjoy and do not value, it is worth mentioning the first-rate riding competitions that Dos Lunas organises, the 10 years of Hospital Quirónsalud in Palmones (excellence of private healthcare in the Province); the opening of an El Corte Inglés Supermarket in the former Supercor increasing the offer to over 15,000 items with premium brands in its establishment and bringing together over 15,000 people in Sotogrande to enjoy the music of Manuel Carrasco (I am almost certain that this is a record figure in the resort). Sport has really dazzled this season in Sotogrande. From the increase to 22 goals in the High Level of the International Polo Tournament, which encouraged the arrival of some of the world’s most important organisations and stars in this sport; to the greatest feat of golf. Within just a few weeks, enjoying something as internationally influential as LIV Golf at Real Club Valderrama and the arrival at Real Club de Golf Sotogrande of the Estrella Damm N.A Andalucía Masters, alongside which, a stone’s throw away there was the Solheim Cup at Finca Cortesín. Who can offer more? I will tell you, nobody. However, undoubtedly, nor will we forget this year as it marked our silver anniversary as the media outlet par excellence in the resort. The 25 years of El Periódico de Sotogrande, crowned by that unforgettable gala dinner at Valderrama, is and will be something so special that it remains as one of those nights that will become part of the history of Sotogrande. Thanks to everyone for making it possible: the team, collaborating companies, and especially you, the readers. Thanks and we will continue working for a 2024 full of good news. Happy Holidays! Torreguadiaro: punto de encuentro de autocaravanas en invierno •

Una estampa habitual de esta época es ver este tipo de vehículos, cada mañana, en el aparcamiento de la playa

Desde hace varios años, especialmente durante la época de invierno, el aparcamiento de Torreguadiaro se convierte en lugar de concentración para las autocaravanas. Este hecho no es nada nuevo ya que desde hace varios años las autocaravanas deciden parar aquí para continuar su camino. Una forma diferente de disfrutar de este paraíso, también en invierno. Respecto a su nivel regulativo; encontramos la última ordenanza cursada por el Ayuntamiento de San Roque y publicada en el Boletín Oficial de la Provincia de Cádiz Nº130 (el 11 de julio de 2016); en el que manifiesta la necesidad de establecer un marco legal

que fije a nivel municipal la situación de las autocaravanas en la localidad. Recoge en la regulación la igualdad de uso y derechos que cualquier otro vehículo en el tránsito por la vía pública siempre y cuando, como acentúa en el Art. 4.3, que no obstaculice o incordie su estacionamiento o partes anexas (toldos, ventanas extensibles, etc.), al normal funcionamiento y tráfico de la zona en cuestión. También recoge el mismo artículo en su siguiente punto que deben respetar las normas reguladas en cuanto a vertidos y ruidos e incluso, deja la constancia de que las zonas habilitadas para el estacionamiento de las mismas pueden tener un máximo

de 96 horas. Con el objetivo de garantizar la rotación de los aparcamientos y espacios pertinentes entre los demandantes de di-

chas localizaciones. En definitiva, una nueva oportunidad para abrir un mercado en la desestacionalización de la campaña

La Junta da luz verde al campo de golf y al resort de lujo de La Zagaleta en Castellar La Comisión Territorial de Ordenación del Territorio y Urbanismo (CTOTU) de la Junta de Andalucía acordaron en su sesión del miércoles 15 de noviembre la aprobación definitiva para la construcción del campo de golf y el desarrollo de la primera fase de suelo hotelero del proyecto de La Zagaleta en la finca La Cierva y la Guillena. En paralelo, la administración de Castellar continúa tramitando con la Junta de Andalucía diferentes expedientes administrativos, como el Plan Especial de Infraestructuras o el Plan Parcial de la primera fase recién aprobada. El alcalde de Castellar de la Frontera, Adrián Vaca, defendió este trámite como “un punto importante y decisivo en este mandato”. El Ayuntamiento y la promotora defienden que este desarrollo, actualmente impulsado por la unidad aceleradora

de proyectos de la Junta de Andalucía, beneficiará al municipio de Castellar y a su área de influencia, incrementando el valor de sus recursos y su mano de obra especializada. El proyecto adoptará el modelo de baja densidad de la urbanización La Zagaleta en Benahavís (Málaga), donde priman desde hace 30 años estánda-

res máximos de sostenibilidad y equilibrio con el medio ambiente. A ello se le sumarán los desarrollos para actividades deportivas como la práctica de golf (dos campos de golf), caza, pesca o equitación. La empresa promotora defiende que la visión de Zagaleta en Castellar de la Frontera es la creación de un destino

exclusivo de renombre mundial. Este desarrollo comprende una instalación de golf de 18 o 36 hoyos World Championship único en Europa diseñado por uno de los arquitectos líderes de la industria, Tom Doak, que albergará eventos internacionales y unas instalaciones hípicas el desarrollo de torneos como los World Equestrian Ga-

mes de Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI). Este complejo de élite se complementará con 60 villas unifamiliares en parcelas de entre 1.200 y 2.000 metros cuadrados, cuarenta unidades tipo condominios entre town-houses y dúplex, y un establecimiento hotelero de lujo de 120 habitaciones que albergará también hasta un máximo de otras ciento veinte villas en concepto de branded residences. Argentina y España, contrastes y algo más La llegada de Javier Milei a la presidencia de la República Argentina invita a destacar dos contrastes con respecto a España. En primer lugar, lo que más preocupa a los argentinos es la economía, y en ese campo las historias de mis dos patrias no pueden ser más opuestas. En efecto, durante el último siglo la renta per cápita de España no ha hecho más que subir, mientras que la de Argentina disminuyó sin cesar. España se convirtió en uno de los países más ricos del mundo, y Argentina retrocedió al subdesarrollo, y se enfrenta ahora a una crisis gravísima. El propio Javier Milei, en su discurso inaugural del pasado 10 de diciembre, auguró la continuación del escenario más frecuente de la economía del país, la estanflación, es decir, estancamiento económico y elevada inflación. En segundo lugar, el contraste político también es llamativo. Lo resumió Ricardo T. Lucas en el diario Expansión, al subrayar que el peronismo ha sido derrotado en la Argentina, pero ha llegado al Gobierno en España. La realidad parece ajustarse a dicho diagnóstico. El socialismo populista predominante en nuestro país propicia

políticas de aumento del gasto público, los impuestos y la deuda pública, y un intervencionismo creciente en el mundo económico, social, laboral y empresarial. En cambio, el nuevo presidente argentino es un liberal cuyo programa es el contrario del de Sánchez en todos estos capítulos. Sin embargo, no son solamente los contrastes los que caracterizan a los dos países. Hay algo más. En el área económica, las inversiones españolas, que han sido muy importantes, y que han sufrido inseguridad y contratiempos diversos, pueden ahora reanimarse, empezando por la energía. Y en el área política, el liberalismo que se ha impuesto en la Argentina también suscita simpatía en el electorado español, como se vio en los buenos resultados que obtuvo el centroderecha en las recientes elecciones municipales y autonómicas, frente a la izquierda más antiliberal. Es indudable que la situación argentina es crítica. Solo queda esperar que este viraje político y económico que ha emprendido la lleve a buen puerto. Ese desenlace también será un final feliz para España.

There is no doubt that the Argentine situation is critical. We can only hope that this political and economic turning point it has undertaken will come to a successful conclusion. That outcome will also be a happy ending for Spain.

Detienen a un grupo dedicado al robo de embarcaciones en el Puerto de Sotogrande •

Recuperan tres embarcaciones y tres motos de agua, sustraídas en el puerto deportivo de Sotogrande.

Guardias Civiles del puesto Principal de Guadiaro, pertenecientes a la Comandancia de Algeciras, han desarticulado un grupo criminal dedicado al robo de embarcaciones de lujo y motos de agua. La investigación comenzó en

verano del presente año 2023, a raíz de las denuncias presentadas por los perjudicados tras la sustracción de varias embarcaciones y motos de agua ocurridas en el Puerto Deportivo de Sotogrande.

Fruto de las numerosas gestiones de indagación practicadas por los Agentes, ha sido identificado un grupo criminal cuyos miembros se trasladaban desde otras provincias andaluzas para consumar los robos, bien a través de llaves

falsas o bien violentando el sistema de arranque de las embarcaciones. Han sido detenidas cuatro personas y otras siete investigadas, en las provincias de Cádiz, Ceuta, Málaga y Córdoba por los delitos de robo con fuerza y pertenencia a organización criminal. Además, han sido recuperadas tres embarcaciones de lujo valoradas en 420.000 euros, así como tres motos acuáticas que ya han sido devueltas a sus legítimos propietarios. Los detenidos junto con las diligencias instruidas y los efectos intervenidos han sido puestos a disposición de la Autoridad Judicial. Para más información pueden

Arrest of group that stole vessels in Sotogrande Port •

Three vessels and three jet skis that were stolen in Sotogrande port were recovered.

Guardia Civil agents from the Main Unit of Guadiaro, belonging to the Command Unit of Algeciras, have dismantled a criminal group that was devoted to the theft of luxury vessels and jet skis. The investigation began in the summer of this year 2023, as a result of reports submitted by those affected by the theft of several vessels and jet skis, which occurred in Sotogrande Marina.

“Sería todo un sueño poder dedicarme y trabajar en el mundo de la Fórmula 1” •

Un proyecto apasionante. Ricardo Andrades estudiante de ingeniería en la Universidad de Sevilla forma parte de unos de las ideas más innovadoras es el Arus Andalucía Rancing Team, el primer equipo de Andalucía compitiendo en la Fórmula Student.

¿Cómo germinó la idea Arus Andalucía? Un proyecto que no solo involucra el desarrollo y diseño de un coche de Fórmula 1 sino también su puesta en marcha y la comprobación de resultado. Nace en 2012 en la escuela de ingeniería técnica. Se formó a base de unos cuantos estudiantes sin apenas recursos, pero empezaron a investigar y fue al año siguiente cuando ya estaba rodando el primer monoplaza en Fórmula Student, convirtiéndose en el primer coche de Andalucía que participaba en esta competición. No solo os ocupáis de la parte más práctica del desarrollo del coche sino también de la estructura y organización, su visibilidad, página web, redes sociales… Efectivamente. De hecho, el

equipo está estructurado como una mediana empresa, con una directiva y con unos departamentos. Entre esos departamentos encontramos el de marketing que es como el de redes sociales. En total somos 120 personas trabajando para crear un proyecto común, eso es muy bonito. Aquí se puede decir que trabajan casi todas las facultades de la universidad de Sevilla: ingenieros, comunicación, empresariales, física, matemática, etc. Es un mundo que te apasiona y disfrutas ¿te gustaría en el futuro hacerlo? Para mí sería un sueño poder terminar trabajando en el mundo del automovilismo. De hecho, la Fórmula Student es muy famosa para las personas que nos queremos dedicar a

“It would be a dream to work in the world of Formula 1” •

An exciting project Ricardo Andrade, an engineering student at the University of Seville, is part of one of the most innovative ideas, the Arus Andalucía Racing Team, the first team from Andalusia competing in the Fórmula Student. How did the idea for Arus Andalucía come about? A project that not only involves the development and design of a Formula 1 car, but also the launch and testing of the result. It was created in 2012 in the technical engineering school. It was formed by some students who barely had any resources, but they began to research and the next year the first single-seater was competing in Fórmula Student, becoming the first car in Andalusia to participate in this competition. You don’t only deal with the most practical part of car development but also with the structure and organisation, its visibility, website, social networks... Indeed. In fact, the team is structured like a medium sized company, with management and departments. The departments including marketing which is like social networks. In total, there are 120 people working to create a shared project, it is very beautiful. LA AUDIENCIA PROVINCIAL DE CADIZ, SECCION ALGECIRAS, “”ACUERDA LA CONTINUACION DEL PROCEDIMIENTO DE NULIDAD DEL REM, POR CAUSA NO JUZGADA” ANTE LA DEMANDA INTERPUESTA POR LA “ASOCIACION DE PROPIETARIOS DE LA URBANIZACION LA MARINA DE SOTOGRANDE” (APUMAS). Desde nuestra Asociación, que agrupa a propietarios de inmuebles de todos los conjuntos residenciales que integran la “Urbanizacion La Marina”, en Sotogrande, informamos que la Audicencia Provincial de Cádiz, Sección Algeciras, por AUTO NÚM. 182/2023, a estimando el recurso de apelación interpuesto por la ASOCIACIÓN DE PROPIETARIOS DE LA URBANIZACIÓN LA MARINA DE SOTOGRANDE (APUMAS) contra el Auto de fecha 25 de julio de 2022 dictado por el Juzgado Mixto número Uno de San Roque, donde estimaba el archivo de la demanda de nulidad por “causada ya juzgada”, dejando sin efecto y acordando la continuación del procedimiento por sus trámites, lo que, en caso que nos den definitivamente la razón pretendida, sería beneficioso para “TODOS” los propietarios de inmuebles en La Marina, ante la citada demanda solicitando la nulidad civil del titulo constitutivo y de la inscripción registral del Régimen Especial de la Marina de Sotogrande (REM), al no haber tenido ningua autorización administrativa, maxime desde que la ci-

tada urbanización ya se encuentra debidamente recepcionada por el Ayuntamiento de San Roque, y NO contar con ninguna autorización, ni autónomica, ni local, ni siquiera de Puertos, por el que se sustente el mantenimiento de las zonas comunes de la Urbanización de La Marina de Sotogrande, todo debidamente acreditado con sendos certififados e informes de los citados estamentos. APUMAS, también interpuso demanda ante el Juzgado de lo Contencioso-Administrativo número 2 de Algeciras, dictándose Sentencia nº 83/2020, de fecha 6 de abril de 2020, por Juzgado de lo Contencioso-Administrativo número 2 de Algeciras, en el que se establece que “no existe ninguna autorización administrativa concedida por el Ayuntamiento de San Roque, que ampare la actuación de la mercantil demandada….” y que “Sotogrande SA no ostentaba concesión alguna, ni autorización por parte del Ayuntamiento que le legitimara al establecimiento del Régimen Especial de la Marina”. El indicado Juzgado sugirió que, a la vista de tal condición, se sustancie la solicitud de nulidad del REM ante la jurisdicción civil. La Asociacion, con objeto de unificar las actuaciones legales en torno al REM, y llevar una única línea de defensa, y tras

analizar distintas alternativas, ha suscrito un convenio de colaboración con el Bufete ROCA JUNYENT-GAONA, PALACIOS Y ROZADOS ABOGADOS, encomendándole al mismo la defensa de los intereses tanto de la Asociacion, como de los Asociados, en condiciones económicas muy ventajosas. Este Bufete de ámbito nacional (con sedes en Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Palma de Mallorca, Valladolid, Burgos, Girona, y Lleida) cuenta en Andalucia con sedes en Sevilla y Málaga, y un equipo de mas de 300 abogados en toda España, 50 de ellos en Andalucia. El equipo encargado de asumir la reresentacion de la Asociación y sus Asociados está liderado por el socio director de la oficina de Sevilla, Armando Rozados Pérez, con el apoyo de la socia Ana Alonso Montero, de la sede de Málaga, ambos conocedores de Sotogrande y su entorno, al ser residentes en la urbanizacion. Con tal motivo, además de haberse personado en nombre de muchos propietarios víctimas de las reclamaciones judiciales del REM, por parte de Sotogrande SA y Conservación de la Marina, SLU, ejercitando su defensa en distintos tribunales en toda España. From our Association, which brings together property owners from all the residential units that comprise the “Marina Resort” in Sotogrande, we are reporting that the Provincial Audience of Cádiz, the Algeciras Section, in PROCEEDING NO. 182/2023, has upheld the appeal made by the ASSOCIATION OF OWNERS OF THE RESORT OF SOTOGRANDE MARINA (APUMAS) against the Proceeding dated 25 July 2022 issued by Mixed Court number One of San Roque, upholding the file of the claim for annulment for “case already tried”, nullifying and agreeing the continuation of the proceeding through its procedures, which, if they definitively give us the claimed reason, would be beneficial for “ALL” property owners in La Marina, in view of the aforementioned demand requesting the civil annulment of the foundational title and of the registry entry of the Special Regime of Sotogrande Marina (REM), as it does not have administrative authorisation, especially since the aforementioned resort has been duly received by the Council of San Roque, and DOES NOT have any authorisation, neither regionally, nor locally, not even for Ports, through which the maintenance of the communal areas of Sotogrande Marina is sustained, all duly accredited with certificates and reports from the aforementioned entities. APUMAS, also lodged a claim with the Contentious-Administrative Court number 2 of Algeciras, with Ruling nº 83/2020 issued on 6 April

2020, by Contentious-Administrative Court number 2 of Algeciras, establishing that “there is no administrative authorisation granted by the Council of San Roque, covering the actions of the defendant company….” and that “Sotogrande SA did not hold any concession, or authorisation from the Council legitimising the establishment of the Special Regime of the Marina”. The aforementioned Court suggested that, in view of this condition, the request for the annulment of the REM before civil jurisdiction is substantiated. The Association, in order to unify legal actions around the REM, and bring a unique line of defence, and after analysing different alternatives, has signed a collaboration agreement with the Office ROCA JUNYENT-GAONA, PALACIOS Y ROZADOS ABOGADOS, entrusting it with the defence of the interests of both the Association, and the Associates, with very favourable economic conditions. This firm which operates nationally (with offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Palma de Mallorca, Valladolid, Burgos, Girona, and Lleida), has Andalusian offices in Seville and Málaga, and a team of over 300 lawyers throughout Spain, 50 of them in Andalusia. The team responsible for representing the Association and its Associates is led by the managing partner of the office in Seville, Armando Rozados Pérez, with the support of the partner Ana Alonso Montero, from the office in Málaga, both of whom know Sotogrande and its area, as they reside in the resort. El precio de la vivienda en Andalucía sube un 9,99% frente al año pasado La vivienda de segunda mano en Andalucía en noviembre de 2023 tuvo un precio con un ascenso del 1,13% frente al mes de octubre, el cuarto más pronunciado de España. Interanualmente, se produjo una subida del 9,99%. Andalucía se situó a la misma

distancia de la autonomía más cara, Baleares. En cuanto a la vivienda de segunda mano en España, en noviembre de 2023 registró un precio medio de 2.149 euros por metro cuadrado, arrojando un ascenso mensual del 1,37%. De un año a otro, la cifra registrada

marcó una subida del 9,34%. De un mes a otro, la provincia de Cádiz (1,88%) fue la que más subió de España, mientras que Jaén (-0,97%) fue la única que se devaluó de la región. Interanualmente, todas subieron. Málaga (15,39%) fue la cuarta en el ranking de pro-

Hay casas en la Urbanización Invespania que se construyeron antes del 2018 que tienen un contrato de suministro de agua de la suministradora Hidralia de Manilva. Estas siguen recibiendo agua y sus contratos siguen en vigor. Pero en 2018 decidió esta suministradora unilateralmente de no conceder mas contratos de agua definitiva. Ni para los que ya estaban construyendo con agua de obra ni para los de licencia de obra nueva. Desde entonces se ha intentado por cada uno de los vecinos afectados de recibir contestaciones a lo ocurrido y soluciones. La suministradora Hidralia le pasa la responsabilidad al ayuntamiento de Manilva. Sin la autorización del ayuntamiento no conceden agua. Por su parte el ayuntamiento de Manilva no autoriza con la excusa que la Urbanización Invespania esta en el término de Cadiz/San Roque y quién tendría que autorizar seria el

Y de los responsables de éste, pasando por el arquitecto municipal hasta el alcalde, nadie nos da ningún tipo de explicación ni solución. Más bien, señalan a Manilva como el culpable. Y aquí se cierra el circulo vicioso. Hay rumores que indican a ciertas reuniones entre el Ayuntamiento de San Roque y la constructora AZATA que en esta Urbanización tiene mas del 60% de propiedades. Es increíble que exista una urbanización a solo 3 minutos de un lugar como Sotogrande donde, hace varios años, los vecinos no pueden conseguir suministro de agua. Un enclave en el que se encuentra una las más prestigiosas urbaniza-

ciones de Europa, los mejores campos de Golf (Valderrama, Sotogrande, La Reserva etc.), el mejor Polo y Vela de Europa. El “Excelentísimo” Ayuntamiento de San Roque no está dispuesto a dar ningún tipo de explicaciones por qué permiten que uno de lo más ricos promotores de España -Azata- , construya más de 20 casas nuevas de lujo (y en cuales ya están viviendo ) SIN PERMISO DE AGUA. Las están suministrando con agua de 2 casas colindantes por “By-pass”. Incluso se están llenando las pertinentes piscinas. Mientras, al lado, la gente normal no tienen ni agua , ni licencia , ni pueden realizar sus sueños. The “Most Excellent” Council of San Roque is not willing to provide any explanations about why they are allowing one of the richest developers in Spain -Azata-, to build more than 20 new luxury homes (and in which people are already living) WITHOUT A WATER PERMIT. They are being supplied with water from 2 neighbouring houses with a “by-pass”. The relevant pools are even being filled. Meanwhile, next to them, normal people do not have water, or a permit, nor can they fulfil their dreams. Nuevo tanto del ‘Península’ en el Circuito Alcaidesa Marina de J/80 El monotipo ‘Península’ del armador John Bassadone despide año con victoria, tras resolver de su lado el segundo asalto a las series de invierno del Circuito Alcaidesa Marina de J/80, disputado este fin de semana en aguas de La Línea de la Concepción. La segunda entrega de las cuatro que completarán las series invernales y última de este año, se cierra según lo previsto con la celebración de seis pruebas, tres disputadas el sábado y otras tantas el domingo, que dejan como ganador al ‘Península’ del RGYC haciendo gala de una regularidad a prueba de fallos, seguido de los equipos del ‘Kouko’ de Pedro Butrón y Dani Cuevas (RCMtmo Linense) y el ‘GVS-PAS’ de Nacho Cifuentes y Rafael Díaz (CN Bevelle/RCN La Línea/Alcaidesa Marina), en un mano a mano intenso y mantenido en cada prueba. Con un total

La Natividad wins Argentine Polo Open With a spectacular atmosphere, pitch 1 at Palermo hosted the Grand Finale of the 130th HSBC Argentine Polo Open, the top inter-club global competition involving 10 teams with between 28 and 40 handicap goals formed by the world´s most important players, including 7 polo players who hold the 10 handicap goal rating. In the grand finale, La Natividad with a fantastic match by Pablo Mac Donough and very successful collective play, won 13-10 against La Dolfina Saudi, a team in which Poroto Cambiaso stood out; and took home the trophy. It has been an impressive season from Jeta Castagnola, who scored 4 goals in the final to make him the top scorer at the Open (38).
