MESSAGE FOR TODAY There was a beautiful bird sitting in a tree, preening himself whilst singing loudly about his great and unique beauty. All of a sudden it starts to snow causing the beautiful bird to freeze and fall out of the tree. “Oh my good gosh” thought the bird, “I can’t move, I’m going to freeze to death in this snow. As the beautiful bird’s situation became dire, along came a great big bear, who used the tree to scratch his back, upon seeing the half frozen beautiful bird, the bear then turned his back an ‘Shat’ on the bird and then walked away. Very soon the heat from the ‘shit’ began to thaw the snow and the bird began to regain consciousness, so happy was the bird that he began to sing and chirp very loudly the sound was as beautiful as the bird himself. “Right sang the beautiful bird, I shall soon be free to show off my beautiful self again”. On and on the bird sang loudly whilst he felt the relief of thawing out. Whilst this was happening a big fox heard the sweet sounds of beautiful bird and followed to where the sound was coming. Upon meeting this sight the big fox approached the beautiful bird began to dig him out of the shit, “Oh great, sang the beautiful bird, this big fox is digging me out, I am saved” he sang. Then all of a sudden the fox ate the beautiful bird.
MORAL OF THE STORY 1. NOT EVERY BODY THAT SHITS ON YOU IS YOUR ENEMY 2. NOT EVERY BODY THAT HELPS YOU OUT OF THE SHIT IS YOUR FRIEND
