Rationale “Simple and effective delivery focussing on type and layout within identity, text and publication.” To work with strong well-executed design concepts. I want to create high print spec, expensive looking design with great attention to detail. I want to create pieces of work that people want to touch (a focus on print finishes). I want to create products that people have to touch (a focus on audience interaction). Subjects / Themes Creative industries – Photography, Architecture, Fashion, Fine Art Retail – Cafes, Fashion Influences/trends – Specifically typographic trends from over the past year Legibility & Readability Interactivity – Paper folding and general audience involvement Distribution – A focus on print but also for web when appropriate Design Disciplines / Creative Development Grids – Pushing them and breaking the rules in order to fully understand them. Font/Type design – playing with legibility and readability.

Digital application – iPad, web, etc in order to fully understand what can/can’t be achieved. 4D - space/exhibition for the ‘real world’ so again I can experience the restrictions. Promotion – events, identity, exhibitions, posters, publication. Print methods & finishes to gain that high print spec & high budget. Practical Skills / Workshops – what, why and when?
