Expect the unexpected on our hinterland stage STILL, an Adults Only production directed by Cooran-based writer, director, producer, actor and teacher Louise Bezel, opens in October bringing raw, contemporary theatre to our doorstop. This coast to country collaboration will see Noosa Arts Theatre tour the production to Pomona’s Majestic Theatre for one-night only on Saturday 15 October. The tour comes thanks to a Regional Arts Development Fund grant and a push by local creatives to bring quality theatre to our hinterland venues.

Both Louise and actor Andrée Stark have been working with The Farmhouse Theatre Co in Cooran over the past two years, working with fellow hinterland actors to stage packed out short play evenings in the Cooran Hall. “We are calling out to hinterland residents to get behind STILL so we can continue to bring high quality productions to our local stages.” STILL exposes the truth and mayhem of relationships with searing wit and empathy and creates a space for a unique theatre experience.
