I
n complete contrast to many of the traditional stone cottages you’ll find sprinkled across Pembrokeshire, there stands The Blue House. Buried in the depths of the woodlands at Trefloyne Manor, this timber lodge is perfectly located for those who want amenities on hand and some of the region’s most popular visitor attractions within easy reach.
Venture outside of the resort however and the world is your oyster. The Blue House stands less than one mile from Tenby’s lengthy South Beach so make sure to bring your bathers and bodyboards for a day at the beach. Tenby’s cobbled streets are lined with further eateries and shops whilst the harbour is where you can book several activities such as boat trips to Caldey Island.
Set in an elevated position with a wooded valley on the outskirts of Tenby, The Blue House offers a contemporary base for outdoorsy adventurers and family holidays - it’s even dog friendly! Open-tread stairs lead from the ground floor with an open-plan kitchen/diner and twin bedrooms to the first-floor galleried lounge, complete with a glassed gable end that opens out onto a decked balcony. Settle here to enjoy magnificent views through the trees and bask in the calming sounds of birdsong; the decked veranda which wraps around the ground floor also boasts this view.
In St Florence, you can plan a day out at Heatherton Adventure Park, Manor House Wildlife Park and The Dinosaur Park or head to Oakwood nearer Haverfordwest for thrill-seeking rollercoasters. Spend a day out at Saundersfoot for another glorious beach day, paddleboarding and a chance to visit the new heritage centre complete with a life-size Schooner. Full Property Details
Stay onsite here at the Trefloyne Manor Resort and you’ll be within walking distance of a fantastic golf course and a spa offering a range of rejuvenating treatments. Plus, there’s a clubhouse bar and restaurant for when you feel like a night out without travelling too far.
