As the birthplace of Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore, two of the most important artists of the 20th century, the Wakefield district is the home of modern British sculpture. The Hepworth Wakefield reflects this standard of excellence in all that we do. Our spectacular galleries and welldesigned public spaces offer versatile and attractive entertaining and meeting venues. We are ideally placed for easy access by car via the M1 and M62 motorways, and by train – our mainline station means that we are a short two-hour trip from London.
