‘REMEMBERING
Ted Alexander’ By Mike Lewis
The late Ted Alexander, a renowned local historian, will be remembered during Old Home Week. “Ted was well respected by many, many people, from his childhood to his career with the National Park Service and especially at Allison-Antrim Museum,” Bonnie Shockey, president and CEO of the museum, wrote in an email message. Shockey and other historians and friends of Alexander will take part in a panel discussion, “Remembering Ted Alexander,” at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, in the barn at the museum grounds on South Ridge Avenue. It will be an informal gathering, with people sharing memories of the late historian.
We hope you are enjoying Old Home Week!
