We Have Culture in Worthing - and in Adur, too! When I take my kids to see Peter Pan at the Pavilion Theatre in Worthing, they are enjoying a cultural experience, but is this any more cultural than when I listen to poetry at Train of Thought Gallery or saunter along East Beach Studios to peruse the artworks? Is it any less? Culture is one of those strangely flexible terms that describes a host things all at once and yet is used very specifically in many situations. So, where I would say I have the cultural background of a white European, middle class, mid-forties Londoner, would this give you an idea as to what sort of cultural things I enjoy? Perhaps...but you may be very surprised how difficult I am to tie down – or to please! And so it is with everyone; Asian, Liverpudlian, refugee or lord... As a proper seaside town should, Worthing has a number of theatres to entertain visitors (and we locals, of course!). Theatres, and the stuff shown in them, is broadly seen as our town’s ‘cultural offer’; this view is certainly evidenced from the council’s perspective, who’s budget for culture is directed almost solely to their functioning. But I would argue that there is plenty of cultural stuff going on outside and around those assets. Culture in our communities is thriving; excellent craft, spoken word, celebrations of other countries and cultures, youth theatre, music of all styles; bands, choirs, orchestras, quartets, film – both makers and watchers. You name it we are busy in this part of Sussex. But how do we get from doing loads of small things well to attracting regional, national and even international attention for our lovely place and the things that happen here? And the things we want to see happen here? And how do we continue to celebrate the diversity of cultures Worthing boasts? The answer is that we have to work together. The Adur and Worthing Cultural Partnership was devised to do just this. Over the past year it has worked with local authority officers and the Arts Council to produce a strategic view of how to develop the area’s people and activities in order to make a step change in how we do culture; how kids get involved, how we find out what people want, where our strengths lie and what our collective aspirations are.

ARTS & CULTURE

Now we need to complete a plan as to how to get there... Do you want to see an annual cultural festival that last a whole month, perhaps incorporating the WOW Festival, the Filipino festival and Lions and bring internationally acclaimed artist’s to Worthing? Do you want a large festival of music to develop new acts and see new ones from YouTube fame? Do you want

to see a sculpture trail around the town and along the seafront? Perhaps you’d like to see an annual competition of artists and creators to make the region take notice? What else are you doing that could be developed? How can you grow as an artist or creative business? Who would you like to work with? The Partnership will be carrying out a consultation exercise over the next few months to locate the ‘wheres’ and the ‘whats’ so we can properly encourage collaboration and bring some overdue attention to the thriving cultural community that we are all part of, but perhaps only fleetingly see. What’s come out immediately from the discussions at the partnership is that we could communicate better; events, shows, meetings and groups. Many have stated that they always find out about things too late, or not at all. It’s the authors view that an organ and website not dissimilar to this one could fulfil such a purpose, as it has a social and cultural bent and a website to back it up for those promoting things to do. If you’d like to get involved or you simply wish to input into the exercise, please do get in touch with gemma.nethersole@adurworthing.gov.uk. Alternatively, there are some excellent Facebook groups that provide social communication on the topics and opportunities to meet up and develop plans.

The main one being facebook.com/groups/ worthingcreativesandentertainmentsmovement Stef Sykes, Coast Café

Worthing Museum Costume Trail Worthing Costume Trail opens the doors of Worthing Museum & Art Gallery to a wider audience, bringing their fantastic historical collection out of the museum and into familiar locations and venues throughout the town. We hope to pique people’s interest in the treasures to be found within the museum’s walls too!

A changing series of costume displays is presented in state-ofthe-art cases located in 9 popular, diverse venues across the town. Our illustrated trail map leads visitors on a journey across Worthing, uncovering a snapshot of the extensive costume collection and discovering more about the town’s social history and the lives of people who lived here. We invite you to wonder at early Victorian tailoring while sipping your Starbucks Gingerbread Latte on South Street; revel in the golden age of Hollywood glamour with our 1936 ivory crepe evening dress at Dinnages Volvo, Brougham Road; and march all the way to Haskins Garden Centre Roundstone and be invigorated by the 1940s Women’s Land Army display (bottom left). Many of the cases feature artwork designed by local school children working with community artists Creative Waves, including a dramatic jazz-age masterpiece backdrop made by Davison High School students in our art-deco themed case at Connaught Theatre (middle left) which has been drawing admiring crowds. Visitors to Worthing Hospital have been surprised and delighted to see the elaborately trimmed bustle-back silk tartan dress in this most unassuming venue. Durrington Extra (top left), a shopper commented that it was beautiful and interesting and that it has inspired him to go to the museum in the future. People are travelling from Brighton specifically to do the trail, and new residents to Worthing are using the trail as a way to explore the town, with one happy visitor saying, “It is an excellent way to get to know Worthing!”

Our costume collection is one of the most important in the country and numbers some 30,000 pieces. Taking these valuable (and in many cases delicate) objects out into local venues has required months of planning. With support and funding from Heritage Lottery Fund and South East Museums Development programme we have been able to purchase the necessary state-of-the-art environmentally controlled modular showcases. The legacy of owning these cases means the museum’s other collections will be more portable in the future too. Since the launch of the Trail visitors through the doors of the museum has increased and support for the museum is at an unprecedented seasonal high! We are now planning the second phase of the trail which will be launched in June 2017. We’re working with local craftsmen at Worthing Men in Sheds to furnish a Secret Gallery at the museum which will be introduced at Spring half-term, February 2017. The Costume Trail runs until Summer 2018. Pick up a trail map at Worthing Museum or visit www.worthingmuseum.co.uk for more information. Daniela Gargiulo, Curatorial Assistant, Costume Trail

Road Trip for Outfits Worthing residents and visitors are being offered a rare treat by Worthing Museum and Art Gallery, it has turned itself inside out. Instead of displaying items from the Costume Collection in the dedicated gallery at the museum, some lucky outfits have taken to the road.

One of the dresses on show in the reception area of the museum is a bright red and white spotted crisp cotton sundress and matching bolero made in 1958. To me it looks modern and timeless. I could imagine it sitting as comfortably in the H&M Spring/Summer 2017 collection as it would have been promenading on the seafront in the late 50’s. Other outfits are unmistakably of another time and place. The very structured crinoline on show in the foyer at the Pavilion Theatre left me wondering how on earth a lady could fit through a door let alone sit on and fit into a chair. The black beaded Molyneux 1930’s dress with brightly coloured motifs at The Connaught Theatre is stunning and not surprising that it would have felt liberating to wear such a simple and unstructured shape after all the boning and structure of Victorian and Edwardian times. Our town centre, like many others nationwide is under serious threat

as online shopping becomes more widespread. Ideas like The Costume Trail will help to make shopping a more vibrant experience. In 2017 Worthing Museum and Art Gallery will launch a Sculpture Trail, featuring pieces of sculpture installed around the town centre. I would like to see more performance on our streets, bands, singers and theatre would also enhance the shopping experience and be another reason to visit our town. Debbi Mason

Worthing WOW Hello and welcome to the first Worthing WOW page in HERE & NOW The following year, WOW 2015 focused on Jane Austen. It was not until 1989 that it was discovered that the famous writer stayed in Worthing for several months in the autumn and winter of 1805, and later used her experiences as the background for her final, unfinished novel, Sanditon.

Summer holidays that start from your doorstep!

What is Worthing WOW? Worthing WOW is the brainchild of local writer and filmmaker Melody Bridges. As she explains: ‘In 2013 I produced a successful show called ‘Wilde about Worthing’. After that there were all these writers, actors and performers asking me – what are you going to do next? What she did next was – with the help of an amazing team of volunteers - create the first Worthing WOW festival in June 2014. ‘It was intended as a challenge to the creatives of Sussex to raise their game, be appreciated on a national level and as a way of raising the aspirations of our community.’

That very first festival was attended by nearly 3,000 adults and children; it encompassed 14 venues and 40 events over its eight days, and tapped a huge source of creative talent. ‘People were genuinely inspired,’ says Melody, ‘Books were created for the festival, films were made, poems were written. New plays were crafted.’

Punch turned to look, Mr Punch whacked her over the head with a truncheon. Everyone cheered. - Please send us your poems and stories to: submissions@worthingwow.co.uk

To celebrate the connection, in association with Community First and the Heritage Lottery Fund, WOW organised writers’ workshops and carriage rides, film events and historical walks, a concert, a family fun day, an art workshop and talks on Jane Austen and her time in Worthing. In May and June of 2016 some 10,000 people ejoyed the even bigger, even better WOW festival. They attended film events and family fun days, writers’ workshops and poetry readings, they submitted their work to three competitions – flash fiction, writing for children and short films. They enjoyed an anarchic evening with performance poet John Cooper Clarke and marvelled at a re-creation of a night in 1896, when audiences attended the Southern Pavilion for an evening of variety and film. 2017…. Well that’s a blank page that we want you to be a big part of writing the future of WOW!

Story (illustrated by Faye Lindeck) In the past year we’ve been sent in hundreds of poems and stories. Thank you to Clare Curtis for sending in this 100 word story. Greatest Show on Earth! by Clare Curtis The American audience waited in anticipation and, as everyone fell silent, the old adversaries took to the stage. On the left, a bullish man known for his outrageous rhetoric and blonde mop. On the right, a small lady in full makeup with an indignant, smug face. As before, arguments started immediately, this time concerning children and childcare. The crowd knew a good show was to follow. Suddenly, from the back of the stage, a crocodile appeared. “He’s behind you!” shouted the children. As Mrs

The Bohemian Bit The newly thriving area of quirky...

The pedestrian stretch of Montague Street ends at West Buildings where a newly thriving area of quirky, independent shops begins. Crescent Road, Montague Street (West), Rowlands Road and Gratwicke Road used to accommodate businesses servicing the surrounding Poet’s District, it’s road names including, Byron, Shelley, Wordsworth and Shakespeare. Now known as the ‘West End’, this part of Heene District has developed a unique character attracting people looking for Worthing’s Bohemian bit. With over 20 places to eat and drink, artist run galleries and owner operated establishments, you’re far more likely to find an authentic, affordable gem here than in the jewellers, boutiques and restaurants of Brighton’s Lanes. Another bonus is that, past Heene Road it’s free parking. Shoreline Gallery at 61 Rowlands Road, is the working studio and gallery of artist, Hettie Pittman. Hettie’s free, unencumbered expressions are a breath of fresh air. Her work speaks to an inner innocence, a timeless land, seascapes unconcerned with mechanism and manipulation.

He has transformed its basement bar. Friendly locals in armchairs sit around a cosy log burner, play chess and tuck into some cheese Martyn has put out. His white stone sculptures and Frank Auerbachesque paintings are displayed generously. Finishing my bourbon, I confirm that I will be back for the poetry evenings held on the last Monday of each month. West End Gallery was opened at 87 Rowlands Road in November by Sarah Sepe and Barry Williams after four years establishing Worthing Art Studios in a small industrial unit in King Edward Close to provide studio space for themselves and up to 9 other Worthing artists. Their first exhibition features their own work and 7 invited artists. In 2017 the Gallery will also be home to Sarah and Barry’s working studios. On my return home, Debbi asks me how the lovely Hettie and Alfie are. I distract her with coffee and a large, beautiful slice of apricot and cinnamon cake I purchased from Baked (31 Rowlands Road). David Freud Photos: Top: Alfie at Shoreline Gallery Below: West End Gallery & Shoreline Gallery

I hear that Hettie and her little dog, Alfie are very approachable and not at all fierce but I’ve seen her work hung in an exotic gallery in Alfriston and know she has collectors as far away as Canada. Her studio / gallery seems casual and accessible but I look through her window in awe and am too scared to go in. For some Dutch courage, I walk to the seafront and pop into Marine View. In the last few years, developers have snapped up for conversion to flats the Mayfair, Beach, Bay, Kingsway and Cavendish Hotels. Martyn Grubb, the new owner of this 12 room Guest House on Marine Parade since June, was previously an art teacher.

Transition Town Worthing: The power to do stuff Did you know Worthing has been a Transition Town since 2009? No, we thought not…we are the best kept secret, but not any more…the word is out! Transition Town Worthing (TTW) is a community group of over 500 local people exploring how to live and work in a better way. TTW is part of the global Transition Network of 1100 groups throughout 43 countries which started in 2006 (transitionnetwork. org). The aim is to inspire, encourage and inform each other within the community as it adapts to the changing world. Each Transition Town focuses on its own local needs and opportunities, so Worthing does what Worthing needs. Why is this important? People: Local communities contain diverse individuals with many different, multi skilled attributes and the ability to tap into that resource can help shape what happens locally and can enable endless positive possibilities. Planet: To live in balance with our surrounding environment we must find ways of moving away from our reliance on fossil fuels. This will also support the reduction in temperature rise as the weather around us becomes more unpredictable. Profit: 97% of UK grocery sales are through just 8000 supermarket outlets, yet independent businesses (the remaining 3%) create more jobs, better health, wellbeing and social justice.

New Year, New Strength Now is the best time to follow your passion! I’ve always found that the new year can bring new energy and inspiration, and a clear head for reflecting on all those ideas and dreams you’ve kept stashed away somewhere, for some other time. Well, the time is always now. For me it started four years ago when I decided to take on a new challenge and set up a local fish box scheme called ‘Catchbox’ here in Worthing. Together with a small group of volunteers we ran the scheme which supplemented our local fishermen’s income by purchasing fish they caught on the day and distributing it among members in our town. At the time, I was working for a big publishing company travelling between Chichester, Dorking and London on a regular basis. Running the scheme meant an early start most Saturday mornings, no matter the weather, and a trip to the beach to pick up around 25kg of fish, then gutting, de-scaling and often filleting them for our members. I had to learn how to handle and cook fish, run a small volunteer group and juggle being part of a budding social venture with my day job, while keeping in touch with the fishermen over tide tables, weather forecasts and seasonal catch. Expanding Catchbox, and wanting to support local communities, I opened the UK’s first FarmDrop food hub with members of Transition Worthing on weekday nights, liaising with farmers, bakers, and butchers and applied for funding to see if my passion could be turned into an actual job. Working in Partnership When I was awarded funding from West Sussex County Council’s Social Enterprise Fund I finally had the confidence and financial means to set up We Are FoodPioneers, a Community Interest Company, in Worthing together with my friend and business partner Louise. Since then we have run social cookery sessions with a number of different needs groups in our

COMMUNITY

town; we have organised picnics and Christmas Day meals; we have continued distributing fish across Worthing and have started growing food with Breathing Spaces CIC, a fantastic partner organisation focussed on social and therapeutic horticulture for people with extra mental or physical needs, which we use in our kitchens. And, of course, we are now running ‘The last fisherman standing’, a two-year Heritage Lottery funded project to protect and revive our rich fisheries heritage in Worthing. Partnership working has always been key to our projects, and we have many organisations to thank for, be it Worthing Homes, GuildCare, Transition Town Worthing or the Proto Restaurant Group.

Food destined for landfill fed our Forum at the Empty Plate Café

Empty Plate Café One organisation that is particularly close to our hearts is the Empty Plate Café. Started by the tireless Mark Brocklehurst and his team in 2015, Empty Plate provides a fantastic selection of ‘pay as you feel’ dishes to locals, some of whom may otherwise not be able to have a warm meal that day. The team work with waste food from supermarkets, not only reducing the amount of perfectly edible ingredients that would otherwise go in the bin but also creating the most diverse and tasty dishes for their guests at Lovett Hub in Durrington every Tuesday from 11am-6pm. They are now looking for more funding and volunteers so that they can expand their offer to cook for locals from one day to two or even three days a week. This leaves me to ask you: what is your passion? What ideas have you had stashed away that you want to explore this year? I cannot emphasise enough just how rewarding it is to drive your ideas forward, to have absolute faith that they can become reality, and to work alongside others to turn them into reality. Worthing maybe always has been, and is surely fast

Pizzaface, with a focus on top quality ingredients, and skilled pizzaiolos, has not only won recommendations from the likes of Jamie Oliver magazine, but has just been given the Gold Award at this year’s PAPA industry awards, for the ‘Best Independent Pizzeria in the UK’. Whilst the focus in its two Brighton stores has been delivery, their Worthing branch also marks their first full restaurant. Head chef and co-owner Daniele, who grew up and learnt his skills in Sardinia, explains; ‘When we were looking at where to open, Worthing really stood out. We were quite flexible with what we wanted to do, but when we found the premises, with its large area for seating, opening a restaurant just seemed like the natural thing to do’.

Boho set out from the start to make waves in the industry. In addition to the staples like chocolate, and vanilla, that one might usually find, they have an ever changing range of tantalising, seasonal, and experimental flavours - in fact to date they have designed over 500. For their efforts they were named ‘Brighton’s Best Food Producer’ at the Brighton and Hove food awards, and have become both nationally and internationally heralded as one of the leaders of their industry. Pizzaface and Boho Gelato can be found at 138-140 Montague Street, pizzafacepizza.co.uk / bohogelato.co.uk. Search ‘Pizzaface Worthing’, ‘Boho Gelato Worthing’ to find on social media.

Restaurant Review

Can’t read my, Can’t read my, No he can’t read my Pizzaface... It was a cold November evening when Joe and I traversed Rowlands Road and entered Pizzaface - which on the face of it, looked like a small takeaway pizza place. Once inside, though, we found a number of tables in a bright modern and airy restaurant space. With a kindly greeting and smiles from the off, our hostess welcomed us in and showed us to a table, before knowledgably guiding us through the menu.

SOUTHERN PAVILION

Visit the day-time café to enjoy a breakfast, lunch or have a relaxing drink while watching the sunset over Worthing. This multi-purpose venue is perfect for weddings, balls, music & corporate events. Fully licensed bar

This is not your average pizza restaurant they are very accommodating. There’s a great selection of meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan pizzas - and many of the flavour combinations would not appear on more well-known Italian menus. There’s a choice of wheat, spelt or gluten-free bases, and you can build your own dish, or go for one from the menu. There’s also the usual sides (garlic bread, coleslaw, salad, etc.) and platters to share. The pizzas all have great names too - from Ozzy to Daisy via Zephaniah. There was a pizza with my name on it, so the “Johnno” was ordered, with additional lamb prosciutto on top. Joe opted for the vegetarian “Daisy” and we had sides of garden salad and an anchovy aioli dip. The dishes were fantastically tasty - all straight

from the wood-fired oven (okay, well not the salad...). To drink, Joe opted for a rare San Pellegrino flavour (bitter citrus) and I chose glass of Bardolino to wash it all down. The drinks list (complete with tasting notes) favours local breweries, English vineyards as well as the expected Italian - these guys like to keep things local and use an independent wine merchant in Brighton. The Worthing restaurant is their first eat-in venture, building on the success of their two takeaway outlets in Brighton and Hove. The premises are linked to next-door Boho Gelato, so guess what was on offer for dessert? Joe selected Carrot Cake and Fig & Mascarpone gelato while I took the opportunity of an affogato - espresso coffee with (my choice of) salt caramel gelato. The place has a really friendly atmosphere and there was a steady stream of customers throughout our meal. Our bill came to around £35 and was deemed by both of us to be great value for money. We will return, if time allows... but they do takeaway as well, so we may be putting pizza in our face from Pizzaface sooner, rather than later!

It’s a New Year, it’s a New Dawn, it’s a New Day, and I am Feeling... Well, If I am honest I am not sure how I am feeling. I am writing this at the beginning of December (the wonders of the printed press) to talk about how 2017 is going to pan out. I can’t see into the future, but what I am sure about is that the diets have been started; the gyms have got busier and the prom has seen an impressive increase in lycraclad, middle-aged people, padding its concrete. Every new year we write lists of things we want to change about ourselves, just as we stuff another selection box chocolate down our necks. So how about a new year resolution of no new year’s resolutions? Just think sod it and not bother… or you could try one of these. Five Things You Can Easily Do To Make Your Life Better. Talk To More Strangers. Take a little bit of time to pop around and properly introduce yourself to that old neighbour you only occasionally see. Or rather than have a coffee and sit there with your head stuck in your mobile, sit down and talk to the person beside you. You never know where it might take you. I did this very thing at St Paul’s last year. The person I spoke to ended up meeting my wife and giving her, her dream job. < Strange but absolutely true. Watch Less Telly. - Rather than spending every night watching the residents of Walford or whatever drivel Simon Cowell has dreamt up, how about volunteering, taking up that hobby, starting a business or joining a group? If you can’t find a group to join why not start one? Stick a note up in St Paul’s or write a post on

a group like the excellent ‘Worthing Mums & Dads’ page on Facebook. You might be pleasantly surprised by what happens when other people suddenly see your post and think ‘Oh yeah, I’d really like to do that, what a great idea.’

Visit The Sea More Often. - We have one of the best beaches in the country on our doorstep, so why not make it might part of your daily/ weekly life. Walk from the Pier to the Sea Lane cafe, listen to some audio books or a podcast or just stop, breathe and take a moment to reflect how wonderful it is not to live in Brighton and have a beach full of stag-dos or hipster twits. Visit The Library. - Worthing has a great library full of books on any subject you can imagine. Why not go and signup, take some out and delve into a bit of whatever tickles your fancy or pop in and join one of the talks that regularly takes place? Learn something new, improve your mind and even make some friends, sounds kind of nice, doesn’t it? Go To Bed Earlier. - Then set your alarm 30 minutes before you are meant to get up and give yourself an edge. Mornings are chaotic, especially if you have kids, but having a 30-minute head start means that you give yourself a bit of a buffer to sort out that ‘tantrum, lost bookbag or whatever evil’ decides to descend on you. Of course, I am not naive enough to imagine your

life will instantly get better overnight, but at least you might have 30 extra minutes to try and finish that coffee, eat some toast and think of a decent excuse to ring up your work and pull a sickie with. For more of this type of nonsense, check out my blog: www.dontbelievethehype.biz or follow me on Twitter @DBTHSocialPR. Until next month. Keep it real and keep em’ peeled. Dan

Put the YOU in YOUTH Yoga HEALTH & WELLBEING

Time to relax and get your chill on!

Blueprint 22 young person, Emily West has just completed her Sport England project ‘Sporting On’, which encourages young people aged 16-25 to try out a range of new sports. Blueprint 22 will be running loads of free yoga classes for anyone aged 16-25 in the New Year. So, as one of her 2017 New Year resolutions, Emily plans to try out yoga. Emily interviewed Mandy Potter, a youth yoga teacher for Blueprint 22 to find out more… Hi Mandy, what do you do as part of Blueprint? I have been involved with Blueprint 22 since it began in 2011, working on various projects such as gardening, knitting, healthy eating, cooking. What made you first want to do yoga? I used to go to a gym and thought I would try some of the classes they ran. Yoga turned out to be the one that I enjoyed the most. I left the very first session with a sense

and promoting good body alignment which helps to prevent poor posture in later life. I think yoga teaches you to respect your body and this often leads to a healthier attitude to what you eat, drink and how you behave.

of well-being and calm that I had not experienced from any other activity and could not wait till my next class. I’ve now been practising yoga for over 20 years and recently trained to be a Youth Yoga Teacher with The Yoga Alliance Professional. How do you think young people can benefit from yoga? Young people can particularly benefit from the focus on breathing techniques and mindfulness within yoga as these help us to deal more effectively with stress and anxiety. Yoga also helps with raising selfawareness, increasing confidence

Hi there Roxy fans, Happy New Year! I was told it would be nice to bark about some fun walkies stuff, (apparently, The Ed’s Dad put in a request) so here’s a walking opportunity on the doorstep that will help keep Dads, doggies and other walkers happy.

Can you tell us what’s your favourite yoga pose and why? My favourite yoga pose is trikonasana (triangle pose) because it stretches the whole body, all the muscles in the arms and legs, opens the chest and is very calming for the mind.

Honestly, people think we sighthounds only like to run, but we do like a nice Walking and Heritage Trail to sniff about on too. They’re a great way to explore the local area and learn about some sites and monuments along the way, (and for our assistants to Get Some Exercise). So, if you want to banish the January blues, ditch the expensive personal trainer and borrow a dog, or even better a sighthound, and go west for an intrepid trek across our ancient patch of heaven.

Many locals do say, especially in the pub, that Highdown was ‘once the traditional burial ground of the kings of Sussex.’ No wonder I like that tale as I am a Leo after all and I love Highdown. But what we do know is it’s a very important archaeological site, heavily steeped in ancient folklore, enough for the Hillfort itself to now be under the care of the National Trust. Getting there: From Worthing, drive towards Angmering on the A259 and use the roundabout to return towards Worthing on the eastbound carriageway. The turning to Highdown Towers is on the left. Look out for the sign, it’s easy to miss the turning (I do like to put my nose out the car window when they are not looking but my assistant doesn’t recommend it.) Duration: 2km, allow one and a half hours (or 30 minutes if you’re a fast runner like me.) Terrain: Mainly grass, occasional flint and chalk footpath. Watch out for rabbit holes! Yes! It’s a moderate climb for slowcoach hoomans to the summit and hard going for wheelchair users and pushchairs. So wear appropriate footwear – boots or shoes with a strong grip, as the ground can be wet and slippery without claws to get a purchase. If you want to impress your doggy pals with the full historic details, go to www.iwalk.org.uk/images/ pdfs/Worthing_Trails_12.pdf And if you fancy a detour, there’s the pub, or the lovely dog-friendly Highdown Tea Rooms and their delicious cake - and Highdown Gardens themselves are en route, although they are not open to us furry ones. But, while you go off for a jaw around the gardens with your bestie, your other half can take your four-legged pal for a run on the hill - hooray! Kisses Foxy X

HIGHDOWN TRAIL Highdown is not really that high – 81m (266 feet), but its unique position as the only hill on the Sussex coastal plain, gives it commanding views along the coast, from Beachy Head in the east, to the Isle of Wight in the west. South Downs. A combination of glacial and inter-glacial periods, with rising and falling sea levels, have eroded away all the other hills in this range, leaving Highdown in glorious isolation. Whereas all the hills of the South Downs have a gentle ‘dip’ slope on their south face and a steeper ‘scarp’ slope on their north face, at Highdown the alignment is reversed, and it

We do like a nice Walking & Heritage Trail is the steeper slope that faces southwards towards the sea. The ancient boundary between the parishes of Goring and Ferring runs north/south and to the east of the summit of Highdown, dividing the modern local government districts of Worthing Borough and Arun. Although there is little to substantiate the charming claim that Highdown was ‘once the traditional burial ground of the kings of Sussex,’ it is a very important archaeological site and one steeped in local folklore. Highdown Gardens Highdown Gardens has been described as Worthing’s best kept secret. In 1909 Frederick Stern planned to build a tennis court in the disused chalk quarry on his land and thought it

“Highdown,” she said, “belongs to me in my mind.” Florence, John, James, and Sir Frederick himself formed a remarkably close-knit and dedicated team that created, over a fifty year period, the beautiful gardens we can all enjoy today. More information about the gardens, their history

Into the Darkness An unwanted excursion into video game territory

HEALTH & WELLBEING

The Christmas & New Year period is synonymous with bright and festive displays. But there are still some areas that would welcome more illumination. It’s cold, dark and windy and all I can see is a bumpy path illuminated up to 7 feet ahead of me. To my right, the infinite blackness of the sea, pockmarked by an occasional lantern, signifying signs of life burrowed within the hull of an invisible vessel. Beyond, a warmer orange glow indicating covert activity at the nascent Rampion Wind Farm. It’s quiet and calm here on the path, except for the rattle of my chain and the rattling of my cough over the slicing wind. To my left, beyond Lancing Beach Green, the twinkling stopstart parade of traffic grinds its well-worn route to and from Shoreham and Worthing. No thanks. This is the way to commute. Away from drive-time radio blandness, cracked camber and the endless faff of Southern Railway strike action. Happily cocooned in my light bubble, conjoined with the elements, acknowledging the pedalling shadows that glide past, eerily lit like lanternfish. As I speed past Golden Sands caravan park to embrace the welcoming flat stretch that skirts Widewater Lagoon, I inhale smugly, look over at the premature Christmas lights and raise an imaginary hip-flask to the genius who green-lit the South Coast Cycle Route. Then suddenly, inexplicably, two zombie-like shapes loom at me from out of the gloom, mouthing silent objections as I swerve to avoid them. And as I’m recovering from this startling near-miss, only 200 yards further, an elasticated line stretches across my path and I have to skid to a dead halt to miss a lady reeling in her dachshund. My journey home suddenly feels

less like a bracing workout and more of an unwanted excursion into video game territory, where points are racked up for avoiding strange denizens of the dark that choose to shuffle along in pitch blackness. Let’s call them ‘The Unilluminated”. Fair enough, it’s their right of way too, you might think. But as 99% of the cyclists taking this route adhere to an essential policy of ‘be seen and be safe’, it’s a shame that some of the perambulating hordes don’t abide in kind. Perhaps they only associate a fluorescent tabard with cyclists and runners - but by not taking precautions they’re putting their health seriously at risk. Generally speaking, pedestrians hate cyclists, cyclists hate motor cars and vice-versa. I happen to get enraged by those who show their contempt for walkers and motorists by simply ignoring the fact they exist. And that’s just the cyclists. Accidents can happen anywhere and anytime of course. Back in the brightness of summer I was emerging from Worthing onto a section of the Route with clearly divided cycle and pedestrian lanes. From my designated track I spied a girl up ahead walking hand in hand with a relative. She was also in the correct lane so I felt confident in passing them by. This was until she decided to break free and make a dash for the beach when I was right in front of her. I hit the brakes but it was too late and I clipped her heel, forcing me to somersault

over the handlebars and land painfully on my back. Thankfully the girl was unharmed; just upset that she hadn’t looked before she ran, worrying for my condition whilst being unsettled by the croaked expletives that filtered from my throat as I gasped for air, checking for (non-existent) injuries. It was a lucky escape for us both but with a bit more awareness it could’ve been avoided. And with

a more illuminated approach all round, especially from those in charge of the Cycle Route’s winter lighting, the journey home could become much safer.

‘From the Wi-Fi Plenty & From the Sea Health’

LOCAL BUSINESS

Why you should escape the rat race and move to Worthing If I asked you to think ‘business’, and then ‘Worthing’, I bet your imagination would take you to a grey office in a grey town, like Slough perhaps? No, I said Worthing! I’ll tell you my story; Spanish guy works for a global media company in London, cycles 80 minutes a day (to save £170 in travel costs), risking his life but still doing his daily breathing exercises, albeit straight from an infinite supply of exhaust pipes. One day this guy gets the crazy idea of extending his life expectancy by moving to a healthier place, ideally keeping his career prospects. He looks for Shangri-La or Rivendell in the A-Z Map, and Brighton comes closest. Then, prohibitive rents and patronising estate agents show him he isn’t the first to entertain this idea. So, he bounces west into Worthing; less glamorous, still maritime, and cheaper. But ‘Worthing is changing’, he keeps hearing, as days become months and his visits to Brighton less frequent. The next frontier in this insatiable lifestyle improvement business is quitting his job and becoming a freelancer, and with lower overheads Worthing is the perfect place to do it. In fact, the town’s motto should be changed to ‘from the Wi-Fi plenty and from the sea health.’ But cost is not the only advantage Worthing offers to freelancers. If you cannot work too close to your fridge, there are five top places to grow your business from: Freedom Works Does freedom work? This is something millions of freelancers ask ourselves every day. Coworking spaces like this convince us that it does. Although recently opened, a friendly tribe of oldtime Worthing freelancers has already warmed the desks of this highly-equipped space that smells like new. It did remind me of London offices, except I

wasn’t being watched. Expect a heroic broadband speed. freedomworks.space St. Paul’s It’s really inspiring that in a small town of an ever-individualising nation obsessed with real estate investments, there is a thriving agora. Greek Revivalist in design and spirit, St Paul’s empowers you to become a better citizen by allowing you to eat, drink, chat, dance, learn, do your yoga, paint, listen to live music, and by all means, work on your freelancing business. ‘This Is How We Roll’ Review: Craig Charles’ Funk & Soul Show, Southern Pavilion, 20 Nov As a fully paid-up member of the Gobby Musicians Society, and a long-time cynic about the cultural phenomenon that I’ve always called ‘the tyranny of the DJ’, I wasn’t sure whether it was a good idea or not when I hastily agreed to review Craig Charles for HERE & NOW.

LIVE MUSIC PHOTO: Loraine Perry

What’s more, Dear Readers, you might remember that just a few years back, Comedy had reached the absolute zenith of success in 21st century hipster terminology and became known as ‘the new Rock ‘n’ Roll’, which didn’t go down too well with my Gobby Musician credentials either! I mean, how could comedians ever replace really cool dudes like Lennon, Hendrix, Bowie, Prince etc. as our modern-day heroes and icons?? And here I was, going to see a comedian turned DJ – what was I thinking of? Still, I thought to myself, best to be open to new life experiences I said, get out there and do something useful I said, and don’t mind that Storm Angus is busily trying to throw you off the Pier as you’re walking through the pounding rain to get to the venue.

Guitarist Aaron Moreland and Harpist/Vocalist Dustin Arbuckle, along with drummer Brad Horner, have fashioned an old/new 21st century roots sound by merging several American musical strains, from Blues, Folk, and Country to Rock and Soul, and when at their best, they do it all with a raw and energetic passion.

A great blues rock band from Kansas USA that flips between Stax style soul, stinging Chicago blues and Allman-style jams. It’s hard to say exactly what we are and what we do”, says Arbuckle. “Blues is definitely at the core, but were huge fans of all sorts of American music, and all of that comes through as well. Obviously,

there are elements of vintage rock and roll, soul and all that sort of stuff…” Hold on to your seats – Moreland & Arbuckle are going to rock the Pier. Enter now! Just tell us where the band are from. Email your answer and contact details to competition@hereandnowmag.

co.uk Arbuckle must be in the subject header. Competition closes midnight Wed 11 Jan. The winner will be notified by email or phone by Thurs 12 Jan. Good luck! Tickets are also available from www.worthingpier.co.uk or the Southern Pavilion Cafe in person.

Warmly ushered into the house, that is the beautiful Southern Pavilion, thoughts of Angus and my inner Van Morrison Gobby Musician persona just faded away, leaving me with a sense of excitement and anticipation! Inappropriate Handclap was entertaining the Pavilion crowd very nicely, Wheels of Steel spinning in such a way that even my wait at the Bar for a drink became a pleasure not a chore, and I found myself inappropriately handclapping against my better judgement… maybe it’s going to be a good night after all I thought?? So, warmed up, drink in hand, phone to the ready, I managed to ‘sway through the crowd to an empty space’ and wait for Mr Charles entrance. And it was, I’ve got to say, a very cool entrance indeed; that very familiar face of his, de rigueur shades and just a few brief words to the crowd that underlined his credentials. As the music, his music, starts it’s clear that Charles is an authentic lover of all the music he purveys. He’s animated and intense, quirky and ever so recognisable from all his TV work, yet it’s obvious that he’s totally in his right place; passionately dancing and singing along to every word of every song! Immediately the crowd is thronging to the beat and happy vibes spread across the dancefloor. It’s a totally mixed audience of 20, 30, 40, 50 somethings; hipsters, funk & soul aficionados and all the ‘everyday people’ still searching

for that something and I think maybe they’ve found it here on Worthing Pier on a cold Sunday November night! The bass is insistent, decisive and commanding and the tunes are a Smörgåsbord from musical royalty’s top table; Marvin, Michael Jackson, Sly Stone, Grandmaster Flash and Deelite to name just a few, but they’re tastefully mixed in with more subtle flavours, tunes you don’t instantly recognise, which move you and groove you even further… Congas, percussion, horns, swirling anthemic strings and a pulse that takes you suddenly into The Jacksons ‘Shake Your Body Down To The Ground’, spliced in with a chanking guitar sample from one of James Brown finest tunes… A dub mash-up of Stevie Wonder’s classic ‘Superstition’ breaks all known musical rules, yet still gets deep down inside your soul. Charles really knows his stuff and he cuts it up just enough to tease and please. “This is how we roll” says Charles, in one of his few asides into the mic and suddenly as he asks Worthing “how are you all doing?”, iPhones are held aloft in a digital ritual of praise, and you can bet your last Rolo that Facebook posts will be glowing & overflowing later, just like the musical good vibes in the room. ‘Groove is in the heart’ and in the House tonight and Mr Charles has used it to reach out and connect people through the sheer joyful power of music, and on that he and I

can only agree! It’s not the tyranny of the DJ I now realise, but the ‘synergy of the DJ’, the art of mixing great tunes together in a way that makes us rock ‘n’ roll and funk & soul! It’s still raining heavily outside after Charles has left the stage and as I trudge across the pier I’m reflecting on what a great evening it’s been; Craig Charles’ Funk and Soul Show is part of a music scene that never faded away, it’s been surfing its own wave for 40 years now and Charles is riding that wave to the absolute delight of the seaside funk & soul lovers here on Worthing Pavilion Pier. Why has it never gone away? Because it feels great and makes you happy, that’s why! This IS ‘how we roll’. The Gobby Musician

World-famous violinist Nicola Benedetti

reunites with Worthing Symphony Orchestra Ever heard anyone swear during a classical concert? Many did at The Worthing Assembly Hall a couple of Januarys ago. The person wasn’t cross: just simply astounded by what they’d heard. It was a large gasp put into words! Did the performer hear it? “Yes, I did,” smiled Nicola Benedetti. Scotland’s half-Italian global golden girl was playing her Stradivarius violin (also Italian) with her superb Ukrainian pianist friend, Alexei Grynyuk. They had stormed through the opening movement of the Kreutzer Sonata to reach the point when the musicians pause for breath before playing something slower, and the listeners can clear their throats and adjust their posteriors. “Bloody Hell . . .” the voice said. And meaning it, too. It was world-class musicianship in the mind-blowing flesh. Someone later told me they knew of a sceptic converted to Beethoven that afternoon. But audiences have reacted like this throughout classical music history. There have been outbursts of appreciation between movements, calling for them to be repeated right there and then, sometimes at first performances. When was the last time a band played a new album track live and the fans made them play it again, right away? Don’t be fooled. The average passionate classical lover ain’t straitlaced! ‘Lover’ is the operative word . . .

Worthing Symphony Orchestra and Nicola Benedetti reunite at The Assembly Hall for their ‘annual’ concert on Thursday 12 January at 7.30pm. Benedetti’s playing the Beethoven Violin Concerto, there’s a great Scottish piece about mountains and floods, plus Dvorak’s ‘New World’ Symphony. Get yourself an advance ticket for this or risk being on the wrong side of closed doors! Benedetti has has told her audience that Worthing Assembly Hall “feels like a second home.” That “this place is very important to me.” Why does she play here? For the same reason that top English violinist Tasmin Little requested to play with WSO in December. Conductor John Gibbons and his orchestra of professionals are that good. And if they’ve been good enough for Nicky (MBE) ever since she became at 16 the 2004 BBC Young Musician of The Year, that’s good enough for Tasmin. On Monday 2 January at 2.45pm, families will flock to the WSO’s Viennese New Year Concert at The Assembly Hall with its waltzes, polkas, marches, operetta overtures, and the occasional aria. BBC TV will urge you to watch their concert relay from the Vienna Musikverein, with some famous conductor letting his hair down. But nothing beats live music. Naturally, no dress code. If you don’t book, you could be lucky at the door. The WSO give eight concerts a year and the music chosen and played rivals any professional orchestra in any British city. They could tour Europe if someone gave them the money. And, keen to encourage new audiences closer to home, on the morning of 12 January, WSO will give a special concert to schoolchildren. It’s free, and for ages 7-10. Richard Amey

Projecting More Art Into Worthing in 2017

ARTS & CULTURE

St Paul’s and Northbrook College projecting more art into Worthing in 2017 The South Downs have always protected us here in Sunny Worthing from the worst of the UK’s weather. Similarly, whatever was happening nationally in 2016 (we’ll start with the loss of David Bowie and Prince, leaving you to fill in the rest at your leisure), here on the South Coast, it still felt that Worthing was waking up as a cultural centre. Of all the many rebirths and reawakenings in town this year, let’s look at how just two key Culture centres are planning exciting things together into 2017. I spoke to Ant Dickinson, manager of Arts Centre St Paul’s, and to Pete Floate, who runs the Diploma Course in Art & Design at Northbrook College about new plans to funnel cutting edge art and performance events right into the centre of town. Thanks for coming to look around the new University campus, Ant. Was it important for you to see what goes on there? “At St Paul’s we are trying to connect with lots of people who have sometimes never heard of us. It was clear when I started 6 months ago that not enough young people were coming here. It was of utmost importance therefore that I made a trip to the coolest hub for young people in Worthing, Northbrook College… The energy in the place blew me away. I had heard all about the amazing facilities and the great work being produced, but had felt a bit disconnected from it.“ We’re on the edge of town at West Durrington. Many staff and students travel in and never see Worthing Town Centre. Maybe this also ties in with how you had felt disconnected before your tour. “As I toured the college I began to realise the potential for a link between St Paul’s and Northbrook. We could become a platform for expression. All the good work being done at the college could be shown to the people of Worthing in our fantastic town centre building. “The Theatre Department have jumped on this opportunity and are already using St Paul’s on a weekly basis, trying out ideas on our stage, in front of a packed cafe. The atmosphere created by this is different and it’s so interesting to see the faces on the mums, the kids and the older customers as they engage directly with youth culture. The actors do not force themselves into the space, there is no sound, they silently move about the space, moulding seamlessly into the day-to-day running of St Paul’s. I am very excited about how this relationship can and surely will develop. Bring it on!!”

Art Tutor Pete Floate tells me about a collaboration his students are working on with local artist Nadia Chalk and As Described, which creates video productions and live events for festivals and artists including Brian Eno and Portishead to Fatboy Slim. Pete, how is St Paul’s helping you bring more Art into the Town Centre? “Last year, students in the second year of this pre-degree general Art & Design Course developed Art Work, using the theme of ‘This is Tomorrow’, which was exhibited in St Paul’s gallery space. Then, following a collaboration (artwork for the ‘Appear on the Pier’ initiative) with the Creative Waves team, Nadia Chalk suggested that our ‘St Paul’s project’ (The Art-Factory), might link with Alan Martin’s New Amusements exhibition.” This was the Tank Girl exhibition, which is still on show at Worthing Museum, isn’t it? “Yes - and this seed of an idea has developed into a collaboration between Creative Waves & [Adam Seaman’s] Digital Media company As Described.” When does Worthing get to see the results? “There’ll be a week of events during February 2017 based around the theme of Light/Shade/ Shadow. Creative Waves are organising four days of activities for creative youngsters from Worthing Schools, assisted by Northbrook Students on Work-Placement. The Level 3 Art-Factory group work will be exhibited throughout the month at St Paul’s. In addition, they’ll develop a digital record of the production of their art-work. The culmination

of this collaborative project will be an evening of light and music extravaganza. Prop Makers are developing a large Retro TV, through which, As Directed will assist the Art & Design students to create live-mixed light shows with their Digital Diaries. This will accompany live bands and DJs from Northbrook’s Music Department.” Let’s look forward to a whole week of new art, music, performance, stage installation, light projection and huge props this February at St Paul’s. It promises to be a memorable event, bringing together experienced professionals, students and schools, and witnessing and enjoying it all hopefully, you! New in the 2015/16 Season, this atmospheric and poetic staging by director David Bösch puts the story of passion against the backdrop of war. Fire and snow in the landscape echo the cruelty and love of the story: soldiers and gypsies clash, a mother reveals a terrible secret and two men are engaged in a deadly fight for one woman. FEBRUARY NT: Amadeus (12A) Thu 2 Feb, 7pm. Live. Music. Power. Jealousy. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a rowdy young prodigy, arrives in Vienna, the music capital of the world – and he’s determined to make a splash. Awestruck by his genius, court composer Antonio Salieri has the power to promote his talent or destroy his name. Seized by obsessive jealousy he begins a war with Mozart, with music, and ultimately, with God. After winning multiple Olivier and Tony Awards when it had its premiere at the National Theatre in 1979, Amadeus was adapted into an Academy Award-winning film. Connaught Theatre. £14.50-£16.50. ROH: Woolf Works (12A) Wed 8 Feb, 7.15pm. The pioneering literary work of Virginia Woolf is the inspiration for multi-award-winning choreographer Wayne McGregor’s brilliant triptych for The Royal Ballet. McGregor has long been at the cutting edge of ballet, working with collaborators from across the artistic world, and in this critically acclaimed work he combines themes from three of Woolf’s

landmark novels – Mrs Dalloway, Orlando and The Waves – with elements of her letters, essays and diaries. Acclaimed British composer Max Richter (Infra, Sum and Recomposed by Max Richter: Vivaldi, The Four Seasons) creates a specially commissioned score incorporating electronic and live music. Connaught Theatre. £14.50-£16.50. NT: Saint Joan (12A) Thu 16 Feb, 7pm. Live. Gemma Arterton is Joan of Arc, broadcast live from the Donmar Warehouse. Bernard Shaw’s classic play follows the life and trial of a young country girl who declares a bloody mission to drive the English from France. As one of the first Protestants and nationalists, she threatens the very fabric of the feudal society and the Catholic Church across Europe. Connaught Theatre. £14.50-16.50. EOS: I, Claude Monet (12A) Tues 21 Feb, 6.15pm. Exhibition On Screen, Season Four. In this striking film from award-winning director Phil Grabsky, we take a new look at arguably the world’s favourite artist – through his own words. Using letters and other private writings I, Claude Monet reveals new insight into the man who not only painted the picture that gave birth to impressionism but who was perhaps the most influential and successful painter of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Despite this, and perhaps because of it, Monet’s life is a gripping tale about a man who, behind his sun-dazzled canvases, often suffered from feelings of depression, loneliness, even suicide. An unmissable cinematic immersion into some of the most loved and iconic scenes in Western Art. Connaught Studio. £10.50-£11.50.

The Worthing Bypass This column will not change your life Mime is a strange art – highly effective for telling someone you need a refill across a busy bar – but outside of Covent Garden has been generally restricted to long-distance gesticulation. Not anymore. Now, in the technological age when the verbally-stricken cannot leave the house without adorning ear plugs, it is just about the only form of communication left on buses and trains. That and tipsy late night crooning, for which I apologise profusely. Mustering the self-inoculated isolation of a hermit, the pantomime mule commences interaction through gesture and shrugs, indicating they need you to move in order for them to unpack their vast array of electronic devices, specifically designed to simultaneously infuriate and curtail contact at all costs. Once accomplished they turn the volume up to 11 and you never hear (pounding muffled music aside) from them again, in spite of spending the next 17 hours knee-to-knee whilst the train obstinately refuses to do its job (i.e. move). So I greeted the thought of a fancy formal sit-down dinner incorporating social interplay with a tidal wave of gratitude, expecting a torrent of middlebrow tittle-tattle, littered with complimentary drinks and unseemly guffaws as the merriment staggers its way towards a haze of alcohol-fuelled bonding with complete strangers. You know the drill. I was though, I have to confess, taken aback when my neighbour introduced himself as a second cousin of Donald Trump. This is akin to introducing yourself as a pickled gherkin gurgler (sadly, like Sceptics, an increasingly rare breed). To his credit the second cousin (on his mother’s side obviously – no-one in Britain would retain a surname that is a colloquial term for something that my granddaughter describes as “bottom pops”) stated his discomfort at the performance of the President-elect but in the same sentence admitted to lobbying for a spot at the inauguration ceremony. I don’t blame him. I know little of the work of J-Z but would happily turn up at an after show party with my Smile t-shirt, prehistoric demeanour and dad dance moves. Ethics be damned. I was intrigued though. Have you met him? What’s he like? Is it safe? Alas, he had not but he had heard stories. They were many and varied, like Trump’s approach to reality, some of which stretched the bounds of credibility, like his toupee. And that was the one I preferred, the one I think was closest

to Keyser Soze – I mean Donald Trump – the one they use to keep people in check as they grow up in his native Transylvania. The hordes of Transylvanians taken on by the Trump Estate (or Bottom Pop Land if you’re a three year old) had been employed to perform a particularly tricky and onerous task – hand weaving the famous blonde bouffant to the old tyrant’s head, each taking it in turns to thread individual fibres into Trump’s scalp. I recoiled at the thought. What an abomination of a man, I said to my dinner companion. Not really, he insisted, he only wants what’s best for America and the hard working people of America. However he trembled as he lent closer and whispered conspiratorially in a shaky voice: I believe in God, and the only thing that scares me is Donald Trump… but that won’t stop me going to the inauguration if I can blag a ticket, he added jovially. True enough, I agreed, the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that women are mad. And men are sane (this discourse was mindful paraphrasing of life-like villains in the movie The Usual Suspects, which I have to state for legal reasons bear no relation to the fictional personality of the President-elect). As you reflect on the pernicious persecution inflicted on the young and vulnerable by the misogynist billion-dollar elite, you might also wish to bear in mind that none of this actually happened – just a “bit of locker-room banter”. Oh, I did meet Donald Trump’s second cousin (who conferred no inside knowledge, just a suspiciously vague familial link) and the world is littered with second-rate Marcel Marceaus but apart from that, it’s all “untruth”. Conversation over dinner was a blast though, which is what happens sometimes when you have a chat with strangers; I just hope for your sake you meet someone better connected. So while the whole world may seem to be going to Bognor in a handcart, HERE & NOW and its ever-optimistic contributors are staying positive and highlighting stuff that’s bringing people together, which is nice. In a year of uncertainty, the only thing we can be certain of is that this column will continue to not change your life in 2017 and hopefully beyond. The Ubiquitous Hack

AND FINALLY...

Just a bit of “locker-room banter”
