9 Holers
By Judi Chmielowiec
ATTITUDE! Playing golf should revolve around a good attitude. Positive attitudes produce better golf, camaraderie, and incentive to play golf for many years. So, I would like to thank Barbara Costalas for giving us the example of consistently hitting the ball down the middle of the fairway, practicing and showing up every week in her sporty outfits. Cheers to you, Barbara, and thank you for giving us the incentive!!
Congratulations on the marriage of our Nine Holer, Julie De Laurence, to Ed Logue. What a beautiful couple! We are all so happy for you!

As we continue into the Summer months, we traditionally lose some of our Nine Holers to their part-time residence, with full commitment to return. Travel is beginning to be part of our lives again. We have a lot of family joining us for visits at our beach location. Injuries and illnesses may happen. But ultimately, our Nine Hole Ladies Golf has been a steadfast group for over 30 years, and we look forward to always having new ladies join our group and keeping the group together as a mainstay of the Port Royal Golf Club. See you on the course!! Tees up!
