Unser Genusstipp im Sommer: Basilikumknödel auf einer Sauce von ge- schmorten Datterinitomaten.

IT Gestito con successo ormai da generazioni, il ristorante storico nel centro di Merano risale al XIII secolo con affreschi di ben 400 anni fa. Elegante e accogliente, il locale vicino alla Porta Bolzano conquista i propri ospiti con prodotti regionali e delizie a base di pasta fresca. Il consiglio dello chef in estate: canederli al basilico su salsa di pomodori datterini stufati.

EN This historic building in the old town of Merano has been a suc- cessful hotel and restaurant for generations. The house dates back to the 13 th century, while the frescoes adorning the exterior walls are 400 years old. The kitchen offers exclusively fresh, local products, and the pasta is homemade. Our culinary suggestion in summer: Basil dumplings on a sauce of braised “Datterini” tomatoes.
