KOHLERN Fam. Schrott

DE 1870 als Herrenhaus mit einer kleinen Kirche erbaut, wurde das Anwesen 1899 von Josef Staffler, dem Erfinder der Schwebe- seilbahn, zu einem Höhengasthof umgebaut. Seit rund 50 Jahren führt Familie Schrott das Traditionsgasthaus und wartet mit kulina- rischen Spezialitäten der regionalen Bozner Küche auf. Von der originalen Jugendstilveranda aus genießen die Gäste einen herr- lichen Panoramablick auf die Dolomiten und über das Etschtal. Unser Genusstipp: Saure Suppe.

IT Costruita nel 1870 come casa signorile con piccola chiesa an- nessa, la tenuta fu riattata nel 1899 da Josef Staffler, l’inventore della teleferica, come locanda di montagna. La famiglia Schrott gestisce questa tradizionale locanda da circa 50 anni e propone specialità della cucina bolzanina. Dalla originale veranda in stile Liberty, gli ospiti godono di una splendida vista panoramica sulle Dolomiti e sulla Val d’Adige. Il consiglio dello chef: zuppa di trippa all’agro.

EN The old Kohlern manor house was built in 1870 before be- ing transformed into a mountain inn in 1899 by Josef Staffler, pi- oneer of the world’s first cable car for passengers. 50 years ago, the inn passed into the ownership of the Schrott family. The restau- rant specializes in traditional South Tyrolean dishes. The original Art Nouveau veranda boasts a spectacular panoramic view of the sur- rounding Dolomites and the Val d’Adige Valley below. Our culinary suggestion: Tripe soup.
