The Fish Kit™ Cubic series consists of models from the Fish Kit™ series, which is specially designed with extra focus on ergonomic and comfort. The construction of the double pivot joint system is designed to prevent loose joints by the screws and the handle adjusts to your fingers. This system minimises the risk for tenosynovitis. The scissors blades are produced by the sublime ATS314 steel. The Bullet belt from the brand Rude is handsewn in London in the finest Italian leather with exclusive stitches and beautiful details. The Bullet ensures maximum protection of your exclusive scissors, combs, clips and brushes.
[ FINGER RINGS, CHAMOIS AND OIL ] Besides sharpening, the scissors need continuous care and maintenance if you wish to keep them for several years. With our Care and Maintenance Set, which consists of a lubricating oil and a wash leather, you achieve optimal daily care of your scissors. The oil is based on camellia oil, which is the absolute best oil for scissors, as it provides extreme moisture without getting sticky. The oil, which is also good for cutting machines, contains Teflon, which fills in the little holes in the metal caused by use. This evens out the surface. The lovely lamb wash leather removes scratches from the blades and keeps them sharp and strong. We also offer finger rings in various colours to ensure optimal grip on the scissors.

For service, maintenance or repair of a scissors, please return it to HH Simonsen. If service, maintenance or repair is done by other companies, the product warranty will become invalid. The producer always has the final say about a scissors further warranty in case the scissors has been repaired or maintained by an unauthorised. All scissors from Excellent Edges™ have lifelong guarantee on the steel. (If the scissors cracks into two or if a chip breaks of a thinning product, a similar new product is offered). The comprehensive ‘Quality Management System’ from Excellent Edges™’ is your guarantee that the scissors have been thoroughly examined and tested before leaving the factory. In case you are still not satisfied, please contact HH Simonsen immediately with a description of the problem. From here, we will repair or exchange according to our estimates.

Please be aware to adjust the scissors’ center screw for the first 8-10 days, as the rubber ring between the center screw and the steel is new and must adjust to the scissors. Furthermore, you must cut with a lighter pressure on the thumb than before the service. Please do not cut if the center screw is too loose. HH Simonsen Carbon Clips are the optimum choice for hair professionals. Made from the exclusive and durable carbon material, the clips boast an abundance of features that make them better than most other hair clips. The clips are extremely durable and can handle up to 140° C without deforming. The strong spring and pointed teeth on the inner side of the clips that cling on to the hair to prevent it from slipping. They will not be discoloured.
With its twin spring closures, the Crocodile Clip can hold massive quantities of hair. One clip does the work of three or four ordinary clips. Still, even with all this strength, it's gentle on hair. Our men’s cutting class encompasses the elements of men’s cutting as well as traditional barbering techniques such as scissor over comb and beard cutting. We work with different classical elements, and we will perform a variety of men’s styles.
The second course focuses on creative expression and teaches you to translate the basic techniques into personalized, individual styles. This course also focuses on varying techniques and we will perform a variety of hairstyles.

This introductory course guides you through the 360 degrees cutting concept concentrating on dry cutting. You will learn how the cutting angle makes a big difference when it comes to personalising a haircut, and you will learn techniques that make your cutting faster, simpler and more effective. The course also looks at ergonomics and how to hold your scissors.
This module takes the basic knowledge from the first course and translates it into personalising of individual styles. Excellent Edges hairdressers will help turn your ideas into reality and encourage you to independently create different hairstyles. This course focuses on developing your skills concentrating on one haircut.

The third module focuses on advancing and refining your cutting skills and taking them to the next level. Focusing on one haircut, this course will teach you how to refine your creative expression while cutting with perfect precision and control.
This is the most advanced stage where we concentrate on perfecting your skills to give you that final technical and creative edge. Two current haircuts will be made, and you will learn every step down to the very last detail. We recommend that everyone who has already taken the first three two modules to also take this final course in order to really boost your skills.

[ #5 CLASSICAL SHAPE ] This workshop will take you through one classical hair-shape, where the focus is on section, partings, combing and cutting angles. We will also work with finishing in dry hair, where texture is important to achieve the correct personal look. 8 hours incl three breaks (incl lunch) of 60/70-minutes total.
