Two Founders. One Goal.

Partners Rick Hilton and Jeff Hyland established the firm in 1993 with the intention of creating a small real estate boutique that would grow to meet the demands of the market, yet never outgrow a founding philosophy for meeting the uniquely individual concerns of each client. Together, they bring a dynamic and diverse range of global resources to the firm. So do some 150 Hilton & Hyland agents, each chosen for their considerable accomplishments, as well as discerning ethics, in the marketing, purchasing and selling of luxury real estate. Hilton & Hyland’s commitment to its clients has long surpassed the standards by which other brokerages are judged in the highly selective Los Angeles luxury market.

In 2017, we saw the Los Angeles luxury market continue to climb with a 16% increase in properties sold year over year, while the median sales price increased 4% to $7.78 million respectively. Escrows tracked closer to sales than in 2016, reflecting a serious buyer that was willing to pay for the right property in 2017. As the leading Los Angeles luxury real estate brokerage, Hilton & Hyland outpaced the local luxury market with an average median sales price of $9.97 million, 28% higher than the overall luxury market average. The firm also enjoyed a record-breaking sales volume of $3.3 billion and a massive 42% share of the ultra-lux market in 2017. Truly a banner year.

As the location of our sole office of operations, Beverly Hills will always be our preferred market.

For generations, Bel-Air and Holmby Hills have ranked among the most prestigious residential communities in the city of Los Angeles. As of Q3 2017, the median sales price in Bel-Air was up 24.3% compared to Q3 2011. Hilton & Hyland enjoyed a 28% share of the luxury market in 2017.

Home to the star-studded neighborhood The Bird Streets, the Hollywood Hills and the Sunset Strip possess some of the most uniquely iconic residences in Los Angeles. Although demand for the area cooled in comparison to 2016, Hilton & Hyland enjoyed a 26% share of the luxury market in 2017.

The sky is the limit for vertical living in Century City and the Wilshire Corridor. Median home prices have risen by 24% since 2014. In addition to selling out The Enclave of Century Woods, Hilton & Hyland enjoyed a steep 36% share of the luxury market, outpacing our nearest competitor by 19%.

In 2017 we went viral not once, but twice. Our risquĂŠ, envelope pushing campaign for Opus, the 85 million dollar Beverly Hills estate designed by developer Nile Niami, gained millions of new eyes on a market that tends to play it safe. On Fire. Tyrone McKillen. Tyrone McKillen spent his early years on construction sites and working in the hospitality industry. He has worked on sales and developments of luxury properties in London, South of France, Buenos Aires, Laguna Beach, Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. Tyrone has nurtured a special network of international high profile clients over his years abroad, while simultaneously developing a keen eye for architecture and design. Tyrone’s undeniable persistence, coupled with his concern for long term relationships, is what separates him from his peers. In 2017, Tyrone represented both the highest sale in the Hollywood Hills, a $35.7 million off-market estate, and the highest sale in the entire city of Los Angeles, a whopping $88 million estate in prime Bel-Air.

Susân Perryman. Queen of the Hill.

Susân Perryman started her real-estate career as the founder of Map Development, an innovative high-end architectural development firm. Susân spearheaded a trend in modern architectural movement that attracted design conscious clients including celebrity athletes, fashion designers and entertainment industry executives. Her move to Hilton & Hyland created a slate to perfectly harmonize her architectural experience and her high-profile clientele with a firm that had the appropriate visibility and access. Alphonso & Bjorn. East to West. Alphonso Lascano’s innate knack for re-inventing homes and Bjorn Farrugia’s tireless work ethic have ensured their meteoric rise in the Los Angeles real estate industry. Together, Alphonso and Bjorn love nothing more than connecting buyers with their dream homes and communities, representing buyers and sellers from Santa Monica to Glendale.
