BEL-AIR Bel-Air property remains a consistently stable market in Greater Los Angeles. Over the past three years, the median sales price of homes has stayed within $150,000 of itself, never dipping below $2,000,000. This quarter was no different.

BEVERLY HILLS The median price of a sold home in Beverly Hills rose 52% to $3,305,000, the highest point we’ve seen since early 2014. With a 15% uptick in the average price per square foot, Beverly Hills undoubtedly continues to sit atop the luxury real estate mountain in the Los Angeles area.

BEVERLY HILLS POST OFFICE Beverly Hills Post Office enjoyed its strongest quarter yet as it rose 28% from three years, just under an average of $3,500,000. Jumping 22% over the last three years, the average price per square foot of a home rose to $1,075.

BRENTWOOD Brentwood remains one of the safest long-term investments in Greater Los Angeles despite slight quarter-to-quarter volatility. The average price of a sold home rose to $1,775,000, a 39% increase from 2014. There's no question that Brentwood remains one of the area’s strongest luxury markets.

CENTURY CITY Century City continued to assert itself as one of Los Angeles' most desirable markets. The median price of a sold home was $1,000,000, a 23% increase since Q2 of 2014. The average price per square foot is the highest we've ever seen in Century City and that's a testament to the trends we've seen in the neighborhood for some time now.

HANCOCK PARK Hancock Park enjoyed its most productive Q2 in over three years. The median price of a home has increased 27% to $1,045,000 over the last three years, which is likely due to the rich history of one of the fiinest neighborhoods in Los Angeles.
MALIBU Despite slight volatility between quarters, Malibu still enjoyed a 29% increase in the median price of a sold home since Q2 of 2014. The highest average square foot per home in any quarter over the last three years at $1,325 has helped secure Malibu as one of the area's strongest luxury markets.

PACIFIC PALISADES The Pacific Palisades enjoyed its strongest Q2 in over three years, and this remains one of Los Angeles’ most consistently strong real estate markets. The average price per square foot of a home surpassed previous years at $999, and it’s now been nine consecutive quarters of that figure being over the $900 mark.
SUNSET STRIP The Sunset Strip remains the most consistently stable market in all of Los Angeles. Rising 6% over the past three years, the median sales price of homes has never dipped below $1,200,000 and has never risen above $1,487,500 until now, reaching $1,550,000. This past quarter proves Sunset Strip remains a market with a bright future.
WEST HOLLYWOOD West Hollywood home prices ascended to new heights in the latest quarter, with average price per square foot rising to $648, a 15% increase over the last three years. The median price of a sold home was $860,000, a 26% increase since Q2 of 2014.

Welcome to the Hilton & Hyland Market Report, our examination of the 2017 second quarter sales figures in the Los Angeles real estate market. Since its inception, Hilton & Hyland has become internationally known as the premier Beverly Hills real estate brokerage. In the first quarter, the company enjoyed increased production in the luxury market, having sold the most expensive listing at $48,000,000. In Q2, we wrapped up the highest first two quarters in company history. Hilton & Hyland continues to set the tone into the third quarter, closing two recordbreaking sales in Malibu. As a leader in the luxury real estate market, it gives us great pleasure to present this comprehensive report. Throughout the following pages, you will find a detailed analysis on all key neighborhoods in the Los Angeles area, along with specific insights into the ultra-luxury market. Hilton & Hyland continues to set the standard for 2017 as we have broken yet another record this past quarter. Not only has June proven to be the highest month of sales volume in the company's history, but the first two quarters of 2017 have also been the highest in the company's 24-year-long history. As the founding affiliate of Christie's International Real Estate, Hilton & Hyland enjoyed four of Christie's Top 10 Sales in 2017 and comprised 50% of their Top Sales in the month of April alone. With only the premier international brokerages affiliated with Christie's, having a stronghold in their top sales not only continues to reinforce the company's position in Los Angeles, but throughout the world.
