ITINERARY

DAY 1: Arrive Sydney

Welcome to the vibrant and iconic harbour city that has everything from quirky galleries, roof top bars, grand shopping districts, heritage buildings, botanical gardens and of course the famous Bondi beach! What better way to start your stay by boarding the beautifully crafted Southern Swan timber ship, cruise the Sydney harbour as the sun descends while enjoying a freshly prepared meal.

ITINERARY

DAY 2: At Sydney

A day to explore Sydney at your leisure. Take the climb to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, explore the famous Opera House, or wander around the historic precent ‘The Rocks’. Visit Taronga Zoo for a chance to meet over 4,000 animals or maybe have a surf lesson at Bondi beach? There is so much on offer accompanied by a vast array of dining experiences to suit everyone.

DAY 3: Depart Sydney

Today you might like to catch the ferry over to Manly with its coastal relaxed vibes, hit up the Manly markets and spoil yourself with breakfast at a beachfront café. A great way to round out this short stay in Sydney. DAY 1: Arrive Blue Mountains

This morning, collect your vehicle and journey west towards the world heritage Blue Mountains region. On the way stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park to see native koalas and hand feed kangaroos.

DAY2: At Blue Mountains

Welcome to a natural wonderland where you can explore one-million-year-old valleys, traverse underground cave systems, and meet the famous Three Sisters. Head to Scenic World where you will have a chance to ride the world’s steepest incline railway and take in the spectacular rainforest views from a cable car. There are plenty of walking trails and townships to explore, including Katoomba and Leura, both are well known for their specialty shops and excellent dining.

DAY 3: Blue Mountains to Hunter Valley

Take the scenic route along the historic Bells Line to your next destination Hunter Valley, one of Australia’s famous wine regions. Over 120 wineries are dotted throughout the rolling green hills, and many offer cellar door tastings. In addition to the fabulous wineries there are plenty of great restaurants, galleries, and local producers selling handmade cheese and olive oil. You may like to join a wine tour and visit one of the wineries or for the more active, hire a bicycle and meander along the quiet country roads.

After a leisurely breakfast you will begin your trip south to Sydney. To top off a scenic self-drive getaway take time to stroll or swim at one of the stunning beaches along the central coast or explore the Brisbane Water National Park before you return your car.
