ITINERARY

DAY 1: Arrive Sydney

Welcome to Sydney, one of the world’s most liveable cities, home to the Sydney Opera House, the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge, history, and heritage. Make your way to your centrally located accommodation, then after you have checked in the day is yours to see, taste, shop, experience and explore the many hidden treasures..

DAY 2: Sydney to Mudgee

At 12noon you will be collected from the front of the Amora Jamison Hotel. Departing from the city you will commence the picturesque journey via the Bells Line of Road through the Blue Mountains onto Mudgee. As we arrive into Mudgee, our first stop is at the Logan Wines Tasting Room were we have a seated tasting of a selection of their wines. Afterwards it is onto our accommodation at Parklands Resort. You will get time to check in to your accommodation before our introduction to Mudgee and it’s wine and local produce continues with a private Tease Your Palate Experience at 6pm on the property. DAY 3: At Mudgee

Cooked breakfast is included at your leisure this morning. At approximately 10.00am we depart with our vehicle and guide to explore the wonderful region that is Mudgee! Today is about chatting with the locals, discovering a promising vintage, grazing on a selection of the regions finest produce and unwinding over a swirl of your glass and a sip or two (or more!) of fine wine! We will visit a selection of 3 boutique wineries and enjoy a light lunch at a local winery with one of our tastings. Return to your accommodation late afternoon for time to relax. Dinner this evening is at own expense and a dinner reservation will be made on your behalf at one of recommended Mudgee Restaurants.

DAY 4: Mudgee to Sydney

After a leisurely breakfast in the resort dining room, we depart at 9am from Mudgee to make our way to Rylstone and our destination De Beaurepaire Winery. From the first vine planting in 1998, this family’s single estate vineyard has grown into a renowned multi-generational boutique producer of French-style wines. On arrival we will be met by one of the owners, Richard or Amanda de Beaurepaire for an informative and enjoyable couple of hours getting under the skin of our awardwinning French-style wines – there is no better way to experience the true De Beaurepaire Wines! After this wonderful wine tasting experience, we head into the picturesque town of Rylstone, a rare colonial treasure and one of the oldest villages west of the Great Dividing Range. We have reserved a table for lunch at the Globe Hotel – lunch is at own expense and you can purchase directly off the menu. After lunch, time to walk the main street before we depart and commence our return to Sydney via the Bells Line of Road. Return to Sydney approximately 6.00pm.
