ITINERARY

DAY 1: Cairns to Port Douglas

Welcome to the place where the Reef meets the Rainforest. After arriving at Cairns Airport collect your car and travel north to the relaxed sea-side village called Port Douglas. Once settled in take your shoes off, get your feet sandy while taking a stroll along the palm fringed Four Mile Beach.

DAY 2: In Port Douglas

Today you head out on a full day experience on the Great Barrier Reef onboard a luxury sailing catamaran. Relax on the white sandy beach, snorkel over the magnificent coral gardens, discover more on the guided snorkel tour with a marine biologist or jump onboard the glass bottom boat trip and full reef interpretations presented by the skipper. you will meet all the iconic Australian animals. Hand feed free-roaming kangaroos and wallabies in the Savannah Habitat, wander through the starlight walk of the Nocturnal Habitat and be immersed in the wet tropics at every level in the Rainforest Habitat.

DAY 4: Port Douglas to Daintree

We farewell Port Douglas as it is time to move to your next destination travelling across the 80km strip of beautiful coastline before heading inland. For the next two nights you will be immersed in the tranquil pristine Daintree Rainforest. Enjoy leisurely walks, seek out secret swimming waterholes, behold towering waterfalls surrounded by breathtaking landscapes that time seems to have forgotten.

DAY 5: In Daintree

Wake up to the calming sounds of the forest welcoming the new morning before heading down to the Julaymba restaurant where you will enjoy a fresh homegrown, seasonal breakfast. The perfect way to get close and personal with the rainforest is on a Daintree River cruise. Choose between sunrise or sunset and visit densely populated mangroves travelling through the waterways all while spotting rare wildlife including Estuarine Crocodiles, birds, frogs, snakes, butterflies, lizards and goannas.

DAY 6: Daintree to Cairns

Wake up early for a stroll around this majestic rainforest before heading back on the road for the scenic drive back to Cairns airport. Drop off your vehicle and head home
