Kimberly grew up in Decorah, a small town in NE, Iowa She's grateful for her upbringing in the beautiful city where at the age of eight, she felt safe enough to ride her bike anywhere alone. Later Kimberly attended the University of Iowa and was a member of the Hawkeye Marching Band, which took her to the Rose Bowl in 86' and the Holiday Bowl in 87' & 88' which is where Kimberly fell in love with Southern California After graduation, she just knew that's where she was meant to be!

Kimberly moved to San Diego in May of 1989 with all of her worldly possessions in her VW Rabbit and never looked back After various jobs, she worked in the auto industry, mainly with BMW, for 14 years. She began her career as a Realtor in 2012 and, after a short stint with a small brokerage, moved to HomeSmart Realty West in Carlsbad later that same year and has been there ever since

Kimberly & her husband, Robert, of 15 years, reside in North San Diego with their five dogs and their 21-year-old potbelly pig Wilbur. When not working, she tries to stay healthy and starts her days at a boot camp class! Kimberly is a passionate Chicago Cubs fanatic but also stays hometown loyal by attending Padres games. She's also involved in dog rescue, particularly with the San Diego Chihuahua Rescue.
