เมื่อวันเสาร์-อาทิตย์ที่ผา่ นมา ท่านผูว้ ่าการภาค พร้อมด้วยอดีตผูว้ ่าการภาค ผูว้ ่าการภาครับเลือก ทั้ง 2 ท่าน และโรแทเรี ยนหลายท่าน ได้ไปร่ วมทา กิจกรรมบาเพ็ญประโยชน์ ของหลายสโมสร และร่ วมงานสถาปนาฯ สโมสรโรตารี หล่มสัก ในจังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ สนุกสนานมากๆครับ อย่าลืมนะครับ วันสาคัญสาหรับพวกเรานายกสโมสร คือวันเสาร์ที่ 22 สิ งหาคม 2558 เป็ นวันสัมมนานายกสโมสรพบผู้ว่าการภาค ครั้งที่ 1 ณ โรงแรมมิราเคิล แกรนด์ คอนเวนชัน่ ถนนวิภาวดี เวลา 8.30 – 16.00 น.
Past Saturday and Sunday, District Governor together with Past District Governors, District Governor Elect, District Governor Nominee and many Rotarians had joined different service projects initiated by various Rotary clubs, and Installation Ceremony of Rotary Club of Lomsak in Phetchabun. It was really fun and enjoyable. Do not forget that there is an important date for all of us, Club Presidents – which is on Saturday 22 August 2015. It is the day for Club Presidents Meet District Governor #1. The event will be held at Miracle Grand Convention Hotel at 8.30 – 16.00.

Dear Fellow Rotarians,
ผมเชื่อว่าตอนนี้ทุกท่านคงได้ข่าวเหตุอุทกภัยในพม่าแล้ว ด้วยพม่านั้นอยูใ่ นอาณาเขตของภาค 3350 เราจึงได้มอบหมายให้ สโมสรโรตารี ยา่ งกุง้ ทาการสารวจในพื้นที่ประสบภัย เพื่อดูว่ามีอะไร ที่โรตารี สามารถช่วยเหลือได้ทนั ที ด้านล่างนี้คือรายงานของสโมสรโรตารี ยา่ งกุง้ ที่รายงานผ่านมาทาง ผชภ.อธีป มัสกาตี เรี ยน ผชภ.อธีป ผมส่ งรู ปภาพเหตุการณ์ อุทกภัยจากหลายๆพืน้ ที่ที่ได้รับผลกระทบขั้น รุ นแรง นา้ ได้ เริ่ มไหลมาจากทางตอนใต้ ของพม่าและขยับขยายไปในวงกว้ าง ทาให้ การเข้ าถึงในบางพืน้ ที่นั้น เป็ นไปด้ วยความยากลาบากหรื อแทบ จะเข้ าถึงไม่ได้ เลย สาหรั บสิ่ งที่สโมสรโรตารี ย่างกุ้งได้ ให้ ความช่ วยเหลือไปในเบือ้ งต้ น คือ เสื ้อชูชีพ 30 ตัวและรองเท้ าบูท 30 คู่ ผ่ านเครื อข่ ายอาสาสมัครใน ย่ างกุ้ง เราได้ รวบรวมเงินช่ วยเหลือ โดยมีทั้งสมาชิก บุคคลภายนอก และ องค์ กรอื่นๆร่ วมบริ จาค ทั้งนี ้ เนื่องจากเป็ นเหตุการณ์ ที่ต้องการความ ช่ วยเหลืออย่ างเร่ งด่วนและแต่ ละพืน้ ที่กต็ ้ องการความช่ วยเหลือที่ แตกต่ างกัน คณะกรรมการบริ หารสโมสรจึ งตัดสิ นใจบริ จาคเงินผ่ าน เครื อข่ ายที่เชื่อถือได้ ในท้ องที่ใกล้ กับพืน้ ที่ประสบภัย หรื อองค์ กรอื่นที่ มีความสามารถที่จะเข้ าถึงพืน้ ที่เหล่ านั้นได้ โดยตรง ซึ่ งก็ทาให้ เป็ นไป ได้ ยากที่สโมสรจะเก็บหลักฐานว่ าที่เราบริ จาคไปนั้น ได้ ถูกนาไปใช้ อย่ างไร เพื่ออะไรบ้ าง ตอนนี ้ ทางสโมสรจึ งตัดสิ นใจเข้ าไปสอบถามถึงความต้ องการในบาง พืน้ ที่โดยเฉพาะด้ วยตัวของเราเอง และบริ จาคผ่ านเครื อข่ ายที่เรารู้ จัก อยู่แล้ วในพืน้ ที่ เช่ น Myanmar Book Aid และ Preservation Foundation วันนีเ้ ราเตรี ยมตัวที่ จะบริ จาคโคมไฟชาร์ จได้ 50 ตัว (ราคาตัวละ 5,000 จัต (สกุลเงินพม่า) หรื อประมาณ 4 เหรี ยญสหรั ฐ หรื อประมาณ 140 บาท) และเม็ดยาที่ทาให้ นา้ บริ สุทธิ์ สิ่ งที่เราทาอยู่ในตอนนี ้ เป็ นการช่ วยเหลือเฉพาะหน้ า แต่ การช่ วยเหลือ อาจต้ องใช้ ระยะเวลานานถึง 3-6 เดือน ดังนั้นเราจึ งอยากจะระดมทุน เพื่อการช่ วยเหลือในระยะยาว และเราตั้งใจที่จะร่ วมมือกับสโมสรโร ตารี อื่นๆด้ วย
By now, I trust that everyone of all are aware of the Myanmar Flood Disaster. As Myanmar is part of District 3350 boundaries, we have assigned Rotary Club of Yangon to conduct a physical survey for immediate and subsequent relief effort to be taken by Rotary. Please see below report from Rotary Club of Yangon as follows: -QuotedSubject: Flood relief fund Dear Ateeb, I am sending you only a few photos from many different places where severe flooding is taking place. Flood water is starting to reach lower Myanmar and now the affected areas are so widespread that some places are not easily reached at all. So for RCY contribution, we donated 30 life jackets and boots to earlier flood affected areas via Yangon Based Volunteers Network. And we are raising Flood Relief Funding and members as well as other organizations and individuals are contributing. From there right now since this is the emergency help, since some flooded areas are still facing shortage of necessities and different places have different needs so our board decides we will donate money to our trusted network/local partner in the nearest area to the affected areas or other organization which will go to those areas directly themselves. So it is hard for us to ask them to keep records of how they distribute. So right now what we do is we decide upon asking what the needs in particular area and donate through our own local connections such as Myanmar Book Aid and Preservation Foundation. Today we arrange to donate 50 rechargeable lanterns (each costs 5000 kyats/USD 4) and also water purification tablets. So right now we are doing immediate relief effort but the process will be an ongoing process since the recovery relief efforts may take at least 3-6 months and that's why we would like to raise money for the long term use and we plan to collaborate together with some other Rotary clubs. District would like us to do with the report and we can 2

Best, Haymar D3350 RI has taken our 1st step to contribute USD 2,000 from the existing Disaster Relief Fund, as an immediate / initial effort for this disaster relief for purchasing the essential items to the Flood Victims. Thereafter, a rehabilitation program is needed after the water have receded. As such, we will like to urge all Rotarians to contribute towards this meaningful activity. Invites Club Presidents 111 and fellow Rotarians to be a part of “Friends Care For Friends” Activity, which organizes together with Thai Cycling Project for Phra Dabos Southern Border Province to honour Her Royal Hoghness Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on the auspicious occasion of HRH’s 5th Cycle Birthday Anniversary. The cycling distance will be from Maesai to Betong. Rotary Districts 3330 and 3360 have already given their intention of joining in the activity. Hence, Club Presidents are invited to join the meeting for the clarification of project details to be taken part by District 3350 and events to occur at Suan Luang Rama 9 Park – the meeting will be on 13 August 2015 at V6 Room, Thai Army Club at 11.00 – 14.00.

How will you answer the question: What is Rotary? For years, we described Rotary by the numbers: 1,220,115 members in 34,558 clubs in 200 countries and regions. Impressive figures, for sure, but they only tell part of our story. What numbers can't convey is the essence of Rotary –- what sets us apart and inspires people to get involved. So we interviewed members around the world to discover why they're passionate about Rotary. What we found was a new way of talking about Rotary that focuses on three core ideas. Through Rotary, you can: Join Leaders from all continents, cultures, and occupations Exchange Ideas, bringing our expertise and diverse perspectives to help solve some of the world's toughest problems Take Action to bring lasting change to communities around the world

Payment for RI Due and District Levy RI Dues The payment should be made immediately after receiving Club Invoice for 1st half of the term (July – December 2015) from RI at USD 29 per member, which consists of RI Due of USD 27.50 and Council on Legislation (COL) of USD 1.50. Club President, Secretary, Treasurer and Executive Secretary can access into My Rotary to acquire Club Invoice information. The payment can be made by either of the following ways: 1. Pay by credit card online through website: www.rotary.org in My Rotary. 2. Pay by cash/cheque/draft through Fiscal Agent at Rotary Centre in Thailand. * RI Exchange rate starting from 1 July 2015 is at THB 34 = USD 1. ** Any Rotary club that fails to submit their dues within October 2015 will automatically be terminated by RI. ก่อนอื่น คณะกรรมการประชาสัมพันธ์ภาค ต้องขอขอบคุณทุกๆท่าน ทุกๆสโมสรที่คอยติดตามข่าวต่างๆของคณะกรรมการฯ และคอยส่ง ข่าวมาประชาสัมพันธ์ รวมถึงรู ปกิจกรรมต่างๆของแต่ละสโมสร อย่างไรก็ตาม ทางคณะกรรมการฯเห็นว่ามีหลายท่านยังสับสนในการ ส่งประชาสัมพันธ์และการส่งข่าวว่าข่าวใดควรส่งที่ใด ให้ใคร เพื่อ อะไร ทั้งนี้ ทางคณะกรรมการฯมีความตั้งใจ มุ่งมัน่ และอยากให้ทุกๆ รายการที่คณะกรรมการฯได้รับได้ออกนาเสนอถูกช่องทางและได้ผล ประโยชน์สูงสุดสาหรับทุกๆสโมสรและภาค
First of all, the District Public Relations Committee would like to thank all Rotarians and every Rotary club for your interest and follow the news published by the Committee; and send your news to be published, including pictures of successful projects. However, the Committee found that there are some confusions with regards to which news should send to whom and where, and for what purposes. Therefore, with the good intention of the District PR Committee and we would like all news and events received be most effective and beneficial for the District and all clubs.

1. E-News – is the place to tell your news of upcoming activities both at District and club levels. This also includes guest speakers and topics to be presented at the weekly meetings of each club. E-News focuses on the events that are going to happen in the future. This is District’s internal PR. All news can be sent to P. Phanu Yoshmetha (Hope), E-News Editor at enews3350@gmail.com 2. District 3350 Website (www.rotary3350@gmail.com) - is also the place to tell your news of upcoming activities both at District and club levels. This also includes guest speakers and topics to be presented at the weekly meetings of each club. On top of that, each club can also send their club’s newsletters as well as their photos of completed service projects to be published on the District’s website. This is external PR to the public. All information can be sent to District PR Committee at pr3350@gmail.com 3. District Governor’s Monthly Newsletter – is the place for each club to send their photos of completed service projects to be published. It is a source to review the District and clubs’ achievements for the past month.
