Before joining Diamond Hotel Philippines late last year, Chef Ooi served as the Executive Chef at various prestigious properties of a renowned international hotel brand. He showcased his culinary prowess and leadership skills in locations such as Taiwan, Wuhan, and Guilin.

Hailing from Malaysia, Chef Ooi's culinary journey also took him to distinguished hotels in China, Penang, and Melaka. During his tenure, he honed his skills and gained extensive knowledge of regional cuisines, further enriching his culinary expertise. With his extensive culinary background, Chef Ooi will continue to elevate the dining experience at Diamond Hotel.

Taking pride in his culinary mastery, Chef Hiroshi Masuda will be handling the Yurakuen restaurant. A highly accomplished Japanese chef with an extensive international culinary background, he worked for airline catering and renowned hotels in Bangkok, Dusseldorf, Guangzhou, Moscow, Dubai, and Osaka, Chef Masuda brings a wealth of experience and diverse culinary infuences to his craft. Prior to joining Diamond Hotel, he held the prestigious position of Japanese Executive Chef at Cathay Pacifc Catering Service in Hong Kong.

Chef Masuda is not only skilled in traditional Japanese cuisine but also well-versed in modern culinary techniques. His expertise encompasses menu planning, costing, and the creation of innovative dishes. With his talent and dedication to his craft, he has had the privilege of serving his exquisite food to esteemed guests, includ- ing royalties from Germany and Abu Dhabi.
