01 | Message for the AMR family
Message for the AMR family An organizational culture like ours, which is focused on caring for people so they can be their best, is a tremendously positive factor to success to adapt to the changing environments, and retaining talent. Today, I would like to emphasize the importance of inspiring and motivating our team, which must be a joint responsibility since We Do It Together. The effort and support of each one of you have been key to the development that we have had to date, which will continue to be strong. Undoubtedly, the rest of the year will be full of challenges, openings and opportunities, and it is up to us to continue offering the best service and the best results. As I have mentioned before in this magazine, and want to reinforce today, the culture of our company is considered one of the most powerful capacities to generate sustained competitive advantage. Considering the latter, we must facilitate this process through our attitude. Let’s continue working with optimism and warmth to keep turning vacation dreams into life-long memories. Carrying out our transformation requires relying on our values and overcoming every change. At this point, it has been proven that we are stronger than any challenge that may be presented to us… So, let’s continue taking care of our colleagues, our clients, and our communities (We Care). I am very proud of you all and your achievements. Let’s keep working together! Gratefully,

20 Service Principles that we apply:
01
02
03
We know, and practice, our ONE ALG mission.
Our smile and salutation are our best business card.
We aid our guests and take every opportunity to offer them personalized suggestions about our resort’s facilities and activities.
04
05
06
We are all responsible for keeping a clean image of our resort’s facilities.
We know our individual and team objectives, and we work together to achieve these.
We are well known for our kindness and phraseology.
07
08
09
We apply work procedures and we consistently comply with our standards.
We are service professionals, responsible for assisting in every opportunity from the start to the end. We provide solutions from the root of every situation.
We are conscious of our impact in our work, environment, and social fields.
10
11
12
We are aware and informed about our resort’s daily happenings through departmental briefings and informative boards.
We are the best promotors of our resort as we perfectly know our resort’s facilities and its activities.
We are proud to be hosts and our personal image is impeccable.
14
Our Philosophy | 02
13
14
15
We constantly strive to improve ourselves in our work-environment.
All Supervisors and Department leaders know how to face and approach difficult or emergency situations.
Our resort is the window to the world. We ensure our guests are always taken care of by offering them a pleasant smile and by greeting them.
16
17
18
We apply the basic aspects of service: attitude, quality, and opportunity.
Attitude: We provide excellent service with facts, not just with words.
19
20
Quality: We plan and organize our daily activities to avoid improvisation. We make sure things are done correctly from the beginning, on time, and always according to our guests’ needs.
Opportunity: We use our empowerment to offer service when this is needed.
All the team at AMR work in accordance with our ONE ALG values.

Cancun
Every time we think of Cancun, we can’t help but visualize the turquoise beaches in harmony with the distinctive white sand of the Caribbean, the lagoons, cenotes, jungle, and the ancient legacy of the Mayan culture. In 1969 a project to create a direct road from Puerto Juárez to the center of the island was approved. A year later (1970), they started to materialize the project known as the Master Plan. Before this happened, this area of the Caribbean was an unknown and unexplored territory, where the only thing that existed were sand dunes, mangroves, and lagoons in a 7-shaped territory detached from the Yucatan Peninsula. In other words, Cancun was a desert island and only a few knew of its existence.
174
The basic master plan covered three elements: 1) To build a tourist area without permanent residential areas, like a tourist corridor (given the characteristics of the land itself), with hotel facilities, shopping malls, golf courses, and marinas. 2) To build a residential area for permanent residents. In other words, an integral city, in the northern part of the territorial reserve, with residential and commercial areas, highways, public buildings, schools, hospitals, and markets. 3) To build an international airport next to the Cancun-Tulum highway (under construction at the time), on the southern part of the island.
Host City | 13
The Hotel Zone was to be built in 3 phases. In 1974 took place the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the first hotel, building the history of one of the most important and outstanding tourist destinations in Mexico and the world, creating the opportunity to promote our country as a natural wonder and also spread part of our culture internationally. Today, in addition to its natural wonders, Cancun has become a tourist paradise, with sources of income and work that have resulted in economic and urban growth, as well as a cosmopolitan culture that highlights the destination as one of the best-valued places globally.
On December 7, 2021, we opened our magnificent hotel Breathless Cancun Soul Resort & Spa with 429 suites. In its magnificent areas, you will find:
Medium energy: To play and socialize, at times it will make you move your head or hum the song, but you won’t stop doing your activities.
This is part of the DNA of our hotel whose 7 cornerstones are: Fashion, Art and Culture, Spa, Music, Pool & Beach Experience, Dining Experience, and Entertainment. Cancun has a new standard in the Hotel Zone... Cancun,
High energy: Your body will vibrate, your head and feet will be moving all the time, and you will start to dance...
WE HAVE ARRIVED!
Low energy: Music to read a book, to talk, to sleep.

14 | We are authentic
We are authentic Diversity: A key factor to business success and innovation The impact of diversity remains a huge challenge. It is necessary to create the conditions that allow diverse talent to be included in leadership positions, thus contributing to developing initiatives that could represent the modern client, who expects their experience to be personalized according to their needs. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are more important in an increasingly global business environment than ever. It is not just about visible characteristics such as gender, age, or race, but diversity of thoughts. Diversity management is about creating and fostering an environment in which organizational diversity is a true reflection of the diversity in the world. It leads to maximizing our collective intelligence to increase our competitiveness as a company. To develop an organizational culture based on meritocracy, it is

necessary to have and recognize this diversity, creating real opportunities for each person to develop their potential and give their best. Diversity management has an impact on all our human resources processes, which is why our practice is based on achieving very clear objectives: Diversity and inclusion training programs To put females and other minorities in leadership positions To supervise everyone’s development and career plans equally, without bias To succeed in today’s disruptive digital environment, organizations need a broader range of perspectives and skills in their project teams, as well as diversity of thoughts, nationalities, and cultures. By doing it, we create innovative, collaborative, and future-ready project teams which may produce successful results in order to have a diverse client base.
We want to receive your feedback on initiatives to strengthen Diversity and Inclusion at AMR: Corporate Human Resources AMR Collection

4 Mental Health & Wellness Tips for the LGBTQ Community
David Pritchard Health & Performance Coach Apple Leisure Group
Manage your stress First and foremost, you must look after yourself, both physically and mentally, by eating well, exercising regularly, and getting enough sleep. Practice breathing and meditation techniques to bring out your inner Zen. If you’re new to this, there are some apps that can help you get started. Many yoga instructors also offer online classes.
Find a creative outlet
Reach Out to Organizations that Support the LGBTQ Community
Consider something you enjoy doing or want to learn how to do, and then do it with everything you have to make it your own. Drawing, painting, baking, writing, card making, knitting, and compiling photo albums of Prides gone by, all help to focus the mind and reduce anxiety.
There are several different groups out there that support the LGBTQ community in a myriad of different ways. Whether you need the support yourself or want to lift up and encourage others, discovering these organizations can be very beneficial. They can provide resources to help when you’ve decided to come out.
Find a support group
Knowing When to Seek Help
Talking with others who are experiencing similar difficulties can be both a source of comfort and a sounding board for anger and frustration. When you have to deal with people who discriminate against you because you are different, it can make you angry, which can turn into self-doubt. Sharing thoughts and feelings with others who understand and share the same frustrations can help to alleviate the inner pain that leads to mental health issues.
Asking for help can be difficult for many people because they think it means they are weak, but getting help does not make you fragile, it builds inner strength. Everyone needs help at some point in their life, and knowing when to get help is imperative.
Know when to walk away It’s fine to walk away from a heated discussion with someone who doesn’t agree with your way of life because your emotional well-being is more important than having the last word. Writing down whatever comes to mind can aid in the processing of emotions. Include dreams, poems, and just write whatever comes to mind.
178
Be kind to yourself and seek help if you need to, because that will only make you stronger in the end.
You have an essential purpose in life, and your unique qualities make you who you are, and that is a beautiful thing. Be kind to yourself and seek help if you need to, because that will only make you stronger in the end.
