Dear Delegates, Time is flying! We will meet each other very soon in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Meanwhile, international CCs are about to arrive mid-July to make 2014 IC CC team complete. We can’t wait to provide the most heart-touching and unforgettable IC experience for all of you. This mailer is packed with latest registration status of final round and visa FAQ based on the questions we have handled so far. It will also help you fully understand the conference experience in Taiwan such as Global Village, Taiwan Night, Gala Night, etc. Make sure to read it carefully and continue to watch out for more information of on-site reception and transportation in the next couple days and weeks. Delegates, who cannot attend IC due to rejection of VISA or non-reply on their application, will not be charge for cancellation fee. This only applies to delegates who applied for VISA by 7/11 and following the guidelines of the CC. Delegates who by the 30 July 2014 have not yet obtained their VISA but choose to not cancel their participation are fully liable for the full conference fee.

FAQ If embassy doesn’t issue enough visa duration to you, what CC team can help you?
2014 AIESEC IC in Taiwan has a statement that will help all the IC DG to get 30 days visa to enjoy their the most wonderful experience in Taiwan. However, some of DG can’t receive 30 days visa due to the special case and decision is made by each embassy. Please ask the ambassador to contact the MFA and email to CC Visa Team and we will help you get 30 days visa in our best.
If the ambassador ask for stay or hotel reservation, how can I do for next step?
In your IL, you can see the hotel address and you can let ambassador know about it. If the ambassador ask for more detail such as the contract between hotel or reservation receipt, please email to CC Team and we will send it to you.
What kinds of extra documentation will CC Visa team can provide to us?
You have to ask the embassy if these documentation is necessary. CC Visa Team will provide CCP’s personal information, certification of AIESEC in Taiwan, hotel reservation receipt and government statement only for special visa condition on the bellowing when it is necessary: -Embassy ask for CCP’s information -Embassy ask for Certification of AIESEC in Taiwan -Embassy ask for hotel reservation detail -Embassy won’t issue 30 days (for AI & DG)/ 60 days (for ICC) visa duration to you.

Global Village is the best platform for Taiwanese to experience the world. Delegates from 115 countries will prepare the food, culture exhibitions, and traditional clothing to represent their countries. Compared to previous IC, we will have local volunteers do translation at each entity’s stand this time. Our GV hosts will deliver in bilingual way. Therefore, you can put much effort on showcasing your country without worry about language barrier.

1. Mail your roll call song to yujie.wu@aiesec.net before 7/31 and entitle it [Entity’s performing music]. Since the time is limited, we will only allow 12 entities to perform their roll calls to the public. 2. We strongly suggest delegates to bring your country’s traditional food, snacks, and clothing to interact with local Taiwanese and elementary students (around 1000 people.) The most attractive entity selected from GV will recieve an award from IC CC team. 3. Delegates and local Taiwanese will sing the song “We are the World” together at the end of GV. We will stand in manifestation of “World Peace.” We will have the helicopter record this event from the sky.
