CONNECTIFY
Connectify Powered by ABB Building a platform to make a win-win-win relationship between ABB, AVP and end-customers powered by ABB. ABB (ASEA Brown Boveri) is a Swedish-Swiss multinational corporation headquartered in Zürich, Switzerland, operating mainly in robotics, power, heavy electrical equipments, and automation technology areas. ABB has been a Global Fortune 500 company for 23 years. ABB has developed a new Smart Sensor for their low-voltage electric motors, which measures vibration, temperature and other critical parameters to remotely monitor machine health and uses algorithms to alert in case of any maintenance needs or faulty conditions. The goal of this project is to help ABB with a B2B2C business model in which ABB’s Smart Sensor data
can be leveraged. The scope of the project is to help ABB to become the preferred partner to their AVPs by utilizing their digital initiative ‘Smart Sensor’. In simple terms, this project intends to help ABB do business with their ‘most valuable data’ and set up a platform to make a win-winwin relationship between all associated stakeholders. We as a multidisciplinary team consists of designers, engineers and business professionals that are lucky enough to catch the opportunity of working with ABB.
