Flowers inspired the design of the restaurant, a place where people can enjoy sensation of peace and serenity. The aim is to make the client feel like a part of nature. He can have two different experiences: the first as a walking observer through the garden, the second as a part of the garden, like an insect inside a flower.

A restaurant peculiarity is to give the chance to clients to share their dinner with other ones. This happens in a special area of the main room in which are set round tables and high setback chairs, which recall flower shapes. The client will be the insect inside it, so maybe new friendships will bloom. For those who prefer being an observer, dinner is served at the other tables. People will taste the serenity of being surrounded by nature and, of course, Thai cuisine! cross section

On the left you can see the logo of the restaurant with the phrase “food preparation is a show” just to exalt the spectacular way the thai chefs cook and treat the food. We started with three key concepts: performance, enjoiment and kitchen’s experience to arrive at the concept of the “theatre” from which we developed our project. the day the colors are invisible but, during the night gives off a faint light, creating a warm atmosphere.
The restaurant attracts mainly a young clientele since the costs are middle-low. The place is open all day long until night, changing the atmosphere according to the time slots by offering different foods and shows (the cooking and after-clubbing ones). In axonometric view, we want bring out the figure of the counter that becomes the stages where the chefs performance. The kitchen, thanks to a big glass window, turns backstage, like a theatre. To exalt the figure of the counter we wanted to include two images where there are the prospectus and the exploded isometric of the counter with the respective materials. The following central room images depict the atmosphere of the restaurant during the after clubbing and during the dinner. Particular appears to be the wall that, painted with fluorescent colors, during the day the colors are invisible but, during the night gives off a faint light, creating a warm atmosphere.

The world around us reflected on the individual thorough the five senses of which it is equipped. The goal that we asked is to represent this concept through five different areas. Each zone has a characteristic feature which refers to a precise sense (sight, smell, touch, taste, hearing); to this end we have used contrasting materials to make it even more clarly the distinction of spaces while manteining harmony between them. In conclusion “Inside is a new way to experience the restaurant, combining the tradition Thai a touch of modernity and avant-garde.

The project is inspired by the shape of Naga snake. Naga is a divinity which represents fertility. Shapes, colours and materials used for the project is strictly connected to the spiritual atmosphere of the Thai culture.
