Sudhir is a Science graduate from the University of Pune and has a Diploma in Business Management, an UFI EMD and the IAEE CEM.
Having joined RE Rogers India in April 2010 as Country Head Sales & Operation, he later became Chief Executive Officer. He has contributed to IELA immensely for many years. Sudhir has actively participated in Winter Seminars, Operations Summit and Working Groups and was Board Member before being voted Chairperson this year.

Following her studies in Humanities, Yolanda studied International Commerce and began her career in freight forwarding with an apprenticeship in Customs & Airfreight. She began her career in Trade Fairs & Events Logistics back in 2004 in the days when DHL (Danzas at that time) had a Fairs & Exhibitions Department in Spain.
Yolanda learnt the core of the business during this time, both as a Domestic & an Export agent, and became Manager of the Exhibitions Department in Spain in 2006.

Paulo started working in the event industry back in 1996. He worked for a general contractor at the main exhibition venue in Lisbon, providing shell scheme booths and rental furniture? This resulted in him carrying out a variety of tasks over the years.
In 2015 he liked the idea of a challenge and switched roles to become Fairs & Events Product Manager with Agility Portugal.
Sudhir has attended many UFI events and is also an active member of UFI’s Sustainable Development Working Group & Offsetting Working Group. He is also on the skilling committee of Indian Exhibition Industry Association.
Sudhir converted his team of dedicated managers from exhibition logistic specialists to specialists in other related verticals during the pandemic and created critical alternate revenue streams which in turn ensured no redundancies or even salary cuts for anyone. He also implemented many company CSR programmes for relief activities. t

In 2008 Yolanda joined Resa Internacional Events where she worked as Project Manager, Export Manager & finally Sales & Development Manager. Courageous by nature, Yolanda rejoined DHL Trade Fairs & Events as Spain’s Exhibitions Department Manager in 2016.
After the period of Covid & the birth of her beautiful baby girl, Yolanda returned to the industry at Comarfex Logistica de Ferias where she holds the position of Sales Manager and is actively involved in a variety of areas. t

2019 was the start of yet another new challenge for Paulo and his team when they became Rangel Logistics Solutions. They started a new business unit combining international removals and event logistics. Born and raised in the truck and forklift environment, Martin loaded his first pallet on a truck at 12 years old.
After getting his International Trade & Logistics Management Bachelor degree in 2007 in block release, he travelled through Asia Pacific for 3 years where he worked as a galvanizing labourer in Australia, harvester in Fiji and cook in New Zealand.
In 2011, Martin joined the event industry with CLAMAGERAN. He worked as an airfreight supervisor for domestic and export shows first of all and then moved to Sales and Operations on European and export shows.
After setting up some new trends postcovid, he is now managing the CLAMAGERAN export team. t

Alexandra Erdmann has been active in the transport industry since 1997. In 2002, Alexandra moved into exhibition and event logistics and took over the management of the exhibition department of a large corporation in Switzerland.
With the foundation of her own company, SWISS EXPO LOGISTICS AG, in 2010 she fulfilled one of her life’s dreams. As a logical step for her own company, she became a member of IELA in 2013. Since 2013 she is fully committed to IELA.

Alexandra Erdmann has won the precious award “Best Export Agent” with SWISS EXPO LOGISTICS AG in 2014 and 2015. They are the only company to have won the prize twice in a row in the 35th year of the association’s history. t

Alessandra has spent almost her entire working career on site in Fiera Milano working for big Italian companies appointed as official contractors and having the chance to participate in the transformation of the venue and its procedures.
She joined Expotrans in 2004 and she was part of the start-up team that introduced the present ICT and procedures in Fiera Milano. She is today the Manager of Expotrans Fiera Milano Team coordinating the customs
clearance operations, the handling and forwarding of about 100 Exhibitions and Congresses held there yearly, the second largest venue in Europe.
In this role she has worked on mega events such as EMO and ITMA.
At present she is also the company trainer and go-to person for all Customs clearance matters related to exhibitions in Italy. t

Dirk Urra has been an active member of IELA for several years.
Throughout his career in the exhibition and event industry, he has gained valuable experience and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that our industry faces. He feels that he can contribute to the growth and success of our association.
As a member of the BOM, his primary focus is to support collaboration and innovation by creating a supportive environment to
encourage the exchange of ideas, best practices and industry advancements. He believes that by maintaining strong partnerships and embracing new technologies, we can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, ultimately benefiting all stakeholders involved.

Ute Wiezorrek (nee Nordmann) started her career in August 2001 as an apprentice at L.W. Cretschmar GmbH & Co. KG in Düsseldorf, Germany.
After her graduation she joined the export exhibition department at Cretschmar MesseCargo GmbH where she has been working on different assignments.
From 2005 onwards she studied logistics at evening school and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor in Transport Management and Operations (ICC).

Lena has been a freight forwarder since 1987 and 1996 she started with exhibition logistics. Her company, On-Site Exhibitions was founded in 1997 and became member of IELA in 1999.
Lena prioritises the maintenance and nurturing of skills and craftsmanship in the industry. She likes to concentrate on educating and inspiring young people to discover this fun and exciting job.
In 2006 Ute participated at the IELA Winter Seminar in Zürich and won “Best Student” honours.
During her maternity leave in 2011 & 2013 Ute continued working at least one day per week in order to stay in the business. Following this, she worked more intensely on the administrative side and remained involved as Senior Project Manager for export shows.
In 2021 Ute was promoted to General Manager “Project Logistics” at Cretschmar Group, which includes exhibition, congress & event logistics services as well as individual projects. t

Eugenie has been working on the transport of Dangerous Goods throughout her career. She started working at the distribution department of a radioactive pharmaceuticals manufacturer (for PET Scans etc.). Only ‘shortlived’ isotopes are used, therefore distribution needed to be immaculately compliant with the regulations to prevent delays.
Following this experience, she became European Transport Manager, responsible for distribution compliance in Europe and later extended her responsibilities towards

Louise is a graduate student from both a business school and transport and logistics school. She plunged into the event logistics business by beginning her career in 1999 with Panalpina Panfairs at the Telecom show in Geneva.
Having joined Clamageran Foirexpo Paris in operations and sales services in 2001, Louise quickly moved to Lyon as Manager and got more and more involved in the company’s activity. In 2013, she was additionally appointed Sustainability

Orphee studied Business Administration with a view to working afterwards in the family business. He graduated in 2014 from University of Plymouth in the UK. In November 2014, he carried out his military service and joined the Greek army which was completed in August 2015 when he started work in the family business located in Athens.
Orphee first worked in the warehouse and on-site at exhibition venues in order to gain valuable experience. Learning from A-Z was key to his success in the industry.

In 2019 Louise became National Operations Manager, joining Unimev’s CSR ethics committee that year and then in 2023, she joined IELA as vice-president of the Sustainability working group. She is strategically strong and always fair. Knowing this business inside out and speaking the language of management as well as that of the forklift drivers, Louise is truly committed to raising awareness of the importance of sustainable development in the event industry. t

It was his participation in January 2016 at IELA’s Operations Summit in Hong Kong which thrilled and motivated Orphee to get more indepth involvement in the industry. He attended the IELA Winter Seminar in 2017 which was an incomparable experience, and the IELA congress and partnering event many times.
Orphee believes in the industry. He particularly believes in the IELA spirit and mentality but most importantly, believes in the people of the exhibition industry. He was elected IELA Board Member in June 2022. t

Bas Wiendels is an energetic Dutchman and a well-educated international event and exhibition specialist. He founded Valverde 17 years ago and is appreciated for his experience of over 25 years & his professionalism.
Bas has been a Board Member of the Dutch Exhibition Association (CLC/VECTA) for more than 7 years and he was elected IELA Board Member in 2021.
He knows the drill of being on a Board of Management and taking responsibility, especially shown during the Pandemic.
Bas is a believer in young talent and their contribution in our industry. He is a host speaker at the Amsterdam and Tilburg University of Applied Science teaching young talent the “do’s and don’ts” in our business. He enjoys sharing his passion and passes on his knowledge to next generations in our industry. t
Felix is an accomplished logistics professional with over 15 years of experience in managing complex and large-scale events. He completed his studies in Logistics and Supply Chain in Berlin in 2009.
He entered the industry in 2008 when coordinating the logistics for the EURO Championship with DB Schenker Switzerland. This laid the foundation for his career in the exhibition logistics sector (2009–2018) where he developed his skills in this fast-paced environment.

In August 2018, Felix joined FIFA as a Senior Event Logistics Manager. He continues to lead logistical planning and execution for prestigious world sporting events. Known for his strategic approach and dedication to seamless operations, Felix plays a key role in ensuring the success of global events such as the FIFA World Cup or the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
During his time with SWISS EXPO LOGISTICS LTD., Felix was part of the Think Tank Working Group. He exchanges regularly with good friends inside the IELA family. t
