Hello readers, I hope everyone is safe, healthy and sanitized. We are still experiencing our lives in the view of the pandemic, and it is quite a confusing time for all of us personally and professionally as well. The intensity of the situation is not quite clear and it is definitely altering our lifestyle. Keeping that in mind, let’s not forget that there are two sides to every coin.
These days the talk of the town is – ‘New Normal post-Covid’ and one simply can’t escape the importance of design-led digital transformation in this new normal. It’s the buzz word everywhere. The new leaders talk about user-centric approach and are focussed on innovation. While, industry shows an important change, we at ImaginXP are thriving to produce ‘industry-ready’ resources by focussing on right set of teaching pedagogy in UX, Design Thinking and future skills. This proves right when even during pandemic, many of ImaginXP students got offers from various organizations across the country and many more are in the process and also a lot of Subject Matter Experts and Industry giants have been appreciating work of ImaginXP’s young minds in the live design projects.
While some are anxious about what cannot be done, others are motivated to do more. The world may be at a standstill but the learning never stops. This issue highlights different projects from students of ImaginXP who have inspired everyone by beating their own imagination and going way ahead of anyone's imagination. The issue also dedicates a section to a special feature called the Gratitude Campaign where the imaginXP family extends its gratitude to all the front line workers who stood by us and have put their safety at risk for the safety of others. We aim to speak beyond our achievements as an organisation but also acknowledge and appreciate social responsibilities of others during this unpredictable time. The Campaign showcases artistic and literary works by students and faculty as their mediums of expression. We at ImaginXP express our heartfelt appreciation to all of you those who are doing your part to stay safe and keep others safe
With industry talking about design-led revolution in one hand and academics talking about New Education Policy in the other hand, ImaginXP envisions about introducing more such future skill programs across Universities, Corporate and Retail segments. It’s time to synergize and focus on Atmanirbhar Digital India. Let’s contribute towards this mission together. I urge specially to industry experts, education leaders to connect with us in all capacities for implementing new ideas of learning in digital era. Also, I thank all my students, faculty and employees of ImaginXP for a quick transformation, creating and adapting to new learning models. All the readers, enjoy another power-pack edition of ImaginXP Newsletter. Happy to share that we have also released the first edition of our journal. Do subscribe! Design Writing Enthusiasts, please do contribute your articles for the next edition in winters. Happy Transformation! Keep Learning, Keep Growing and Stay Safe!

Testimonials Aditya Gupta, Student (B.Des) “ImaginXP provides students a platform to learn and showcase their abilities in the field of design. Currently, I am pursuing Bachelor of Design course (1st year) by ImaginXP. I got to know about this course from one of my friends who has a similar interest. Right from day 1, my interest in this field has continuously increased. I have utilized my time in learning design softwares like Adobe XD, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Filmora9, Figma and have developed projects using them. In this time of pandemic, things have not been the same as before. Also, at this point where people cannot make physical contacts and increase networking, our mentors at ImaginXP have provided digital talks and webinars with our faculties and renowned personalities working at leading companies..”

Master of Design (UX) | ImaginXP “Stamurai” by Anoop Dutta Application Homepage Redesign “Whenever I redesign, I just make sure that the user experience gets better with the redesigned product and user feels smart while using it.” Stamurai is a speech therapy mobile application built to help people who stutter / stammer learn and practice speech therapy. The task was to redesign the application and make it more aesthetic and usable. An agile process of design was found most suitable for the project where the existing design of the app was studied and analysed and further brainstormed ideas for reiterations. https://tinyurl.com/stamurai

Out of Nowhere! by Krishna Kumar, UX Design Faculty Everything was going fine and right! There was progress day and night. India and the world were at their height! Future developments in their sight. But then, all of a sudden, out of nowhere! In the midst of the otherwise mundane, Newscast of the onset of the pandemic – COVID 19! Draped the world in a mystic counterpane. This virus resembled miniscule sticktight! Billions of them – their existence, a twilight. Travelled seamlessly making humans affright! Seeing this, authorities put lockdown outright. And then the containment of the virus began! Experiments conducted by persistent clinicians. Places made vacant – sanitization a cosmopolitan! Quarantine and restrictions to every migrant human. Physicians’ active, cops in every thoroughfare! We citizens have a colossal role to play somewhere. To stay indoors and cease exposure! To the virus that emerged out of nowhere.
