SPEAKS Message from Editor-in-Chief Abhignya Srishaila It is september already, and time has definitely not waited for anyone, nor have we… The industry of education, in fact, is booming in creating new opportunities, exploration of dynamic knowledge and information opening doors to magnificent innovations by the people all over the world. This month celebrates, acknowledges and appreciates those who have guided us and taught us to become what we are today. Since our birth, our home is considered to be our first school and our mothers, our first teacher. Later comes our playschool, kindergarten, school and college institutions. We have often heard of influential inventors, doctors, and designers, but rarely of any teacher. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was one of them, and his birthday is nationally celebrated as Teacher’s day, till date. As a former President of India and a fellow mentor, he strongly believed in the responsibility of teachers to be more than teaching students how to read and write, but a sincere responsibility towards the nation’s development. Behind every successful man, is not just a woman, but also a mentor who has walked with him with pride and confidence. This issue of the newsletter showcases inspiring and interesting projects and works or our students and faculty, and artworks that are also dedicated to gratitude towards teachers. It also showcases the events that took place in the month of September, including the virtual meet of the faculty of ImaginXP for teacher’s day, which was not only fun, but full of surprises. Having said, the ImaginXP family expresses our gratitude, appreciation and respect to all the teachers, mentors and all those who have positively helped us learn, grow and nurture to bring the best version of ourselves. We are also extremely thankful to all our students for their efforts and teaching us the importance of patience and helping us be better mentors. We shall continue to walk together, contributing to learning with and from each other.

Message from Director general imaginXP Col. Shishir Kumar Being a teacher is no less than a doctor‘s Hippocratic oath. In India, we call teachers ‘Guru’, an embodiment of the spirit of a guide, mentor and educator rather than a mere instructor of curriculum. They are the torch bearers of well balanced, skilled and educated future skills and teaching is a great responsibility on all of our shoulders. For an educator, everyday is a new challenge where we aim to push the limits of science, art, creativity, technology to instil ideas of innovation. Therefore, we learn more so that we can teach better. We, as teachers, empathise, we motivate, we gamify, we create the best version of our students. That’s what our focus is on. Our job as teachers is not just to teach but nurture opportunities for our students to bring corporates, companies, government and students together. This will enable research led thinking amongst our students. It is for us to push the limits of research in our individual fields. Each teacher is a role model and hence we bring in punctuality, efficiency, effectiveness and RoI in everything that we do. We use our influence for the good, to change the fabric of society. For the last 7 years, students trained under the esteemed faculty of ImaginXP have become leaders, changed mindset and brought about innovation that was not seen in India before. It’s magical to see how these students, our best contribution to the country, are riding the wave of future skills. It is very satisfying that we are able to create the impact that we intended to do in the world of higher education. The current pandemic has proven that we need new ways of thinking, working and surviving in the new normal. Let me thank each of you who has supported your students even through these difficult times and instead turned it into an opportunity for growth and learning. While we have seen immense success, there is a long path in front of us. And the story starts with you.

The redesign was done keeping a minimalistic approach which ran parallelly with the user experience of the site. The visual hierarchy was fixed and the logo was also redesigned making it more minimal and clean.
