Imago Romae is the combination of different passions including art, photography, archaeology and, of course, Rome. We have turned all these passions into professional work and our web site is primarily dedicated to Rome. The ambitious aim of Imago Romae is to represent Rome’s image a little at a time. We are not meaning images like snapshots, but the images that Rome and the Romans offer to the whole world in a combination of Ancient and Modern, of exhibited and hidden art, of renowned spots worldwide and unknown local corners. This website wants to use images and articles to collect these passions in order to share and export them to those who are waiting for their first visit as well. We will do that thanks to the contribution of valuable professionals and young artists, of historians and creatives who, through their own knowledge, will portray a portion of the present and the past of this Eternal City that has always kept an eye on the future.
