Employee: “Sir, I understand, and we do appreciate your business. Our decoration services and our lanyard products are not free. Would you still like to proceed with this order?
• Never Engage with or Match the Bad Behavior: Steer the dialogue towards a positive outcome by focusing on constructive solutions, avoiding confrontation, and keeping the conversation on track toward resolution.
Customer: “I want a manager!”
Employee: “I can certainly get them, please give me a moment.” Try to practice this framework with your employees before they need it.

Be Prepared to Handle Escalations
When customers cross the line, managers must be willing to step in and support their team.
