PROJECT OVERVIEW
Pniel Church, or more well-known as “Gereja Ayam”, is one of prominent histsorical churchs in Jakarta. Located near Pasar Baru, Central Jakarta, this church is the only Neo Romaic chruch in Jakarta. Therefore, this church becomes one of cultural significances in the Pasar Baru area. In 2022, the revitalization project of this chruch only was aimed to reach basic engineering stage. The outcome of this stage shall be the basic for DED stage which was planned to be conducted in the future.
In this project, Pusat Dokumentasi Arsitektur (PDA) participated in the research and analyzing the revitalization plan for the chruch main building. contributed as an architectural assistant in this project. My participation in this project includes conducting initial research about the revitalization method of the landscape and the new buildings within the church complex. After conducted the research, the project principal and me attempted to apply the main revitalization concept to the design, specifically the landscape design and the supporting buildings.
