PROJECT OVERVIEW
Located in Tambora, West Jakarta, Jami’ Al Mansur Mosque is one of heritage mosques in Jakarta. Historical event that happened at the mosque before Indonesia declared its independence made this mosque an important part of Indonesia history.

The firm I work at was assigned to revitalize this mosque by Dinas Kebudayaan DKI Jakarta. Collaborating with Netap Studio, Bagan Desain proposed new revitalization plan and design for this mosque along with its lanscape design.
contributed as architectural assistant and junior project coordinator in this project. participated in composing the historical research and conceptual document. also helped out in making 3D models and CAD drawing for concepting stage. As junior project coordinator, became an assistant for my principal coordiantor.

Main Issues Symbolic Heritage Elements
Important heritage elements such as Soko Guru sacred graves of the mosque religious figures, and others were hidden behind the additional part of mosque. Not only that, the existing tower structure needed to be paid attention too.
