Linguistic Anthropology

Esmeralda, is on route to graduate Ivy Tech Community College with a major in Linguistic Anthropology. During her time with the Pathways to Career program, she has been honing her bilingual and communication skills through advocating for Latino youth through attending networking events and tabling events, and she has been giving to the Latino community through community service and public outreach. Moreover, she’s been involved in Ivy Tech’s K-14 Initiative program where she built connections with local high schools to provide college coaching to prospective students. She also, facilitates the enrollment of high school students to Ivy Tech Community College and finding scholarships for these students.
