Super new look coloured Fibreglass safety stair nosing – What a Clever Idea One of Floorsafe Australia’s strategies has always been to give the customer what he wants or what he would like to have. Fibreglass Plus now offer a slip resistant stair nosing that is fully compliant, chemical resistant and gives the customer an option to choose the finished colour which will certainly enhance any stairway.
Our Fibreglass nosing has been a very popular choice over the past two years due to the fact that it is half the price of standard aluminium and a saving of up to $20 a metre on most available metal tread nosings. Although the standard fibreglass have a cost saving and no rust advantages, the finished fibreglass product has very limited chemical resistance and is only available in either yellow or black. So we have taken the advantages of both products and combining them into one competitively priced product that now has many features & benefits.
The new product ‘Fibreglass Plus’ has the same 4mm fibreglass base and produced in 3620mm lengths. Once moulded we have over laid the base with two layers of a 2-part Polyurethane chemical resistant coating. A 30# grade diamond aluminium oxide granule has
also been added giving the new product a superior uniform finish. Colour choice is another advantage. Although available in stock colours, upon request any Australian standard colour can be produced. With Its extra strength, improved chemical resistance, colour
