Experiencias y emociones

e habla mucho de que todo producto o servicio debe generar una experiencia única y enriquecedora, que supere las expectativas del cliente. Pero no teman, no abusaré de este concepto obsoleto a día de hoy. Hace algunos años, una conocida cadena de bricolaje se dio cuenta de que cuando sus dependientes entendieron que un taladro era la herramienta idónea para reformar una terraza, entonces fueron capaces de vender a sus clientes no solo el taladro, sino también las hamacas, el toldo, la mesa, las sillas y las macetas. Y los clientes se marchaban felices a casa, pues la necesidad de comprar un mero utensilio se había acabado convirtiendo en la ilusión de poder disfrutar de una siesta en su recién estrenada terraza. Con este ejemplo, lo que quiero decir es que comprar un taladro no es un fin en sí mismo (¡nadie desea realmente hacer solo agujeros!), igual que jugar a golf no es realmente un objetivo. El verdadero objetivo es experimentar las agradables sensaciones que produce el juego, ya sea compartiéndolo con amigos o disfrutándolo en medio de un paisaje maravilloso. En Arabella Golf Mallorca pudiera parecer que lo tenemos muy fácil gracias al hecho de que contamos con unos campos de diseño magnífico y mantenimiento excelso. Pero el golf no es una commodity: necesitamos saber qué fin persigue el golfista para así poder personalizar su estancia entre nosotros. ¿Desea hacer deporte, o disfrutar del juego sin prisas? ¿desea competir, o más bien relajarse jugando con amigos? Y es aquí es donde entra en juego nuestro elemento diferenciador: nuestro personal, que no es un mero “empleado commodity“, sino alguien preocupado por crear emociones personales que permanezcan en los recuerdos de cada jugador que visita nuestros campos. En breve las máquinas harán tareas rutinarias de poco valor y analizarán muchísimo mejor que nosotros el Big Data. Pero el factor humano jamás podrá ser sustituido en el fino análisis del Small Data: las personas siempre tendremos aptitudes que nos hacen y harán irremplazables, capaces de generar emociones singulares, que son las que al final terminan generando más valor. XPERIENCES AND EMOTIONS. People often say that a product or service should generate a unique, enriching experience that exceeds the expectations of customers. But never fear, I shall not be abusing this now-obsolete concept. A few years ago, a well-known DIY chain realised that when their shop assistants understood that a drill was the perfect tool for renovating a terrace, they were able to sell their customers not only the drill, but also the sun loungers, the awning, the table, the chairs and the flowerpots to go with it. And the customers would go away happy, because the need to buy a simple utensil had ended up turning into excitement at being able to enjoy a nap on their newly-renovated terrace. With this example what I am trying to say is that buying a drill is not an end in itself (nobody really wants to just make holes!), just as playing golf is not really a goal. The real objective is to experience the pleasant sensations the game produces, either sharing it with friends or enjoying it in the midst of wonderful scenery. At Arabella Golf Mallorca, it might seem that we have it very easy, thanks to the fact that we have some courses with a magnificent design and sublime maintenance. But golf is not a commodity: we need to known what aim it is that golfers pursue, so as to be able to personalise their stay with us. Do they want to practise sport, or enjoy an unhurried round? Do they want to compete, or rather relax whilst playing with friends? And this is where our differentiating element comes into play: our staff, who are not a mere ‘employed commodity’, but people

Soon, machines will perform routine, low-value tasks and analyse big data much better than we can. But the human factor can never be replaced in the final analysis of small data: people will always have aptitudes that do and will continue to make us unreplaceable, capable of giving rise to singular emotions, which are those that ultimately end up generating greater value. RLEBNIS UND EMOTIONEN. Man spricht heute viel darüber, dass ein Produkt oder Service stets ein einzigartiges, bereicherndes Erlebnis sein sollte, das die Erwartungen des Kunden übertrifft. Aber keine Angst, ich werde das mittlerweile veraltete Thema an dieser Stelle keinesfalls überstrapazieren. Vor Jahren entdeckte die Leitung eines bekannten Baumarktes folgende Tatsache: als die Angestellten verstanden hatten, dass eine Bohrmaschine u.a. ein nützliches Werkzeug zur Modernisierung einer Terrasse ist, konnten sie den Kunden auch erfolgreich Sonnenliegen, Markisen, Tische, Stühle und Blumentöpfe verkaufen. Und die Kunden fuhren glücklich nach Hause. Was als Kauf eines Werkzeugs begonnen hatte, endete mit der Freude, auf der neuen Terrasse bald eine entspannte Siesta halten zu können. Mit diesem Beispiel möchte ich zeigen, dass der Kauf einer Bohrmaschine kein Selbstzweck ist, denn niemand möchte nur Löcher bohren! Und auch das Golfspiel ist kein Ziel an sich. Das wahre Bestreben liegt darin, ein angenehmes Spielvergnügen mit Freunden oder Gleichgesinnten in traumhafter Umgebung zu genießen. Scheinbar haben wir es leicht bei Arabella Golf Mallorca, mit unseren großartig angelegten Golfplätzen, die durch hervorragende Pflege beeindrucken. Der Golfsport ist jedoch keine commodity: um jedem Spieler ein personalisiertes Golferlebnis zu ermöglichen, müssen wir wissen, welches Ziel er vor Augen hat. Möchte er Sport treiben oder eine Golfrunde ohne Eile genießen? Will er an Turnieren teilnehmen oder entspannt im Freundeskreis spielen? Und genau an dieser Stelle kommt unser Personal zum Einsatz, unser Trumpf und Differenzierungsmerkmal. Denn unsere Angestellten sind kein „commodity staff”, sondern arbeiten mit großem Engagement daran, jedem Spieler, der unsere Plätze besucht, ein individuelles Golferlebnis zu bieten, das in seiner Erinnerung haften bleibt. Schon bald werden Maschinen einfache Routinearbeiten ausführen und besser als wir die big data analysieren. Der menschliche „Faktor“ wird jedoch bei der sensiblen Analyse der small data unersetzlich bleiben. Wir Menschen verfügen über einzigartige Fähigkeiten, die nicht zu ersetzen sind und können beispielsweise Erlebnisse und Emotionen bewirken, die letzendlich zu einer höheren Werteschöpfung führen. Bei Arabella Golf Mallorca setzen wir uns auch weiterhin für die Umsetzung dieser Unternehmensphilosophie ein, die uns wirklich zufriedenstellt und an die wir glauben. Creando recuerdos inolvidables

stimad@ golfista, Desde hace unos años Arabella Golf Mallorca viene apostando por la excelencia, la calidad y el equipo humano, lo que se traduce en mejoras de las instalaciones, implementación de nuevas tecnologías y una continua formación de nuestro personal para convertirnos en referentes en el mundo del golf. Todo ello con el objetivo de ofrecer la mejor experiencia posible a nuestros visitantes, creándoles recuerdos inolvidables. Dentro de este compromiso, este invierno vamos a realizar una serie de mejoras en Golf Son Vida, que cerrará sus puertas durante siete semanas. Durante esta primera fase procederemos a renovar los tees de salida y también los bunkers, con una mejora del sistema de drenaje mediante la implementación de un nuevo material diseñado específicamente para tal función. El pasado invierno, como recordará, cerramos Golf Son Quint durante seis semanas para poder acometer ciertas obras en el campo, entre las que destaca el nuevo diseño de los hoyos 8 y 9. También hace unos meses inauguramos la zona de prácticas en Golf Son Quint, que hasta el momento ha obtenido una gran aceptación. En cuanto a nuestros logros en cuestiones medioambientales, quisiera destacar que en 2018 hemos renovado nuestras certificaciones ISO y EMAS en gestión medioambiental. También hemos conseguido ahorrar más de un 15% de agua de riego con respecto al año anterior, hemos eliminado los plásticos de un solo uso en las cantinas de personal, y estamos renovando los materiales de oficina y eventos para que sean materiales ECO sostenibles. Y en enero de 2019 procederemos a sustituir las más de 140.000 botellas de plástico de un solo uso, que ofrecemos a nuestros clientes al año, por fuentes de agua osmotizada y mineralizada. Dichas fuentes estarán localizadas en sitios estratégicos de los campos de golf. Gracias por apoyarnos. Es un placer formar parte de sus buenos recuerdos.

REATING UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES. Dear Golfer, For years now Arabella Golf Mallorca has been committed to excellence, quality and its human team, all of which translates into improvements in the facilities, implementation of new technology and continuous training of our staff so that we can become leaders in the world of golf. All with the aim of offering our visitors the best possible experience, creating unforgettable memories for them. As part of this commitment, this winter we are going to undertake a series of improvements at Golf Son Vida, which will close its doors for seven weeks. During this first phase, we shall proceed to renovate the tee offs and also the bunkers, and improve the drainage system by implementing a new material designed specifically for this purpose. Last winter, you will remember that we closed Golf Son Quint for six weeks in order to carry out work on the course, including – most notably – the new design of holes 8 and 9. A few months ago, we also inaugurated the practice area of Golf Son Quint, which has met with a very warm welcome so far. With regard to our achievements in environmental matters, I should like to highlight the fact that in 2018 we have

renewed our ISO and EMAS environmental management certificates. We have also managed to save more than 15% in irrigation water compared to the previous year, we have eliminated disposable plastics in the staff canteens and we are renewing the office and events materials so that they are ECO-sustainable. And in January of 2019 we shall substitute the more than 140,000 disposable plastic bottles we give our customers every year for reverse osmosis purified, mineralized water fountains. These fountains will be located in strategic places around the golf courses. Thank you for supporting us. It is a pleasure to form part of your good memories.

NVERGESSLICHE ERLEBNISSE GESTALTEN. Verehrte G@lffreunde, Seit mehreren Jahren setzt Arabella Golf Mallorca auf Vorzüglichkeit, Qualität und unseren Mitarbeiterstab. Dies zeigt sich in der ständigen Verbesserung der Golfanlagen, der Einführung neuer Technologien und der kontinuierlichen Fortbildung unserer Belegschaft, damit Arabella Golf Mallorca auch weiterhin als eine der besten Referenzen in der Welt des Golfsports gilt. Unser Ziel ist, unseren Mitgliedern und Gästen unvergessliche Spielerlebnisse zu bereiten, damit sie uns in bester Erinnerung behalten. In diesem Kontext werden wir während der Wintermonate eine Reihe an Modernisierungsmaßnahmen auf dem Golfplatz Golf Son Vida durchführen, der für die Dauer von sieben Wochen geschlossen bleiben wird. In der ersten Phase werden Abschlag-Tees und Bunker renoviert und das Dränagesystem durch den Einsatz eines neuen Materials verbessert, das speziell für diesen Zweck entworfen wurde. Wie Sie sich erinnern werden, blieb der Golfplatz Golf Son Quint im vergangenen Winter sechs Wochen geschlossen. In dieser Zeit wurden Arbeiten zur Renovierung des Platzes ausgeführt und die Bahnen 8 und 9 neu gestaltet. Vor einigen Monaten eröffneten wir das Übungsgelände auf Golf Son Quint, das sich bisher regen Zuspruchs erfreut. Bezüglich unserer Erfolge beim Umweltschutz möchte ich an dieser Stelle mitteilen, dass wir sowohl die ISO-Zertifikate als auch das Gütesiegel EMAS für Umweltmanagement 2018 erfolgreich erneuert haben. Im Vergleich zum Vorjahr haben wir bei der Bewässerung 15 Prozent mehr Wasser eingespart. Darüber hinaus haben wir Einwegplastikflaschen aus den Personalkantinen verbannt und derzeit stellen wir unser Büro- und Eventmaterial auf ökofreundliche, nachhaltige Alternativen um. Ab Januar 2019 ersetzen wir die mehr als 140.000 Einwegplastikflaschen, die wir pro Jahr an unsere Spieler und Gäste abgeben, durch Trinkquellen mit durch Osmose aufbereitetem, mineralisiertem Wasser, die sich an wichtigen Standorten der Golfplätze befinden. os campos de Arabella Golf Mallorca tienen un papel fundamental y no suficientemente conocido en la reutilización del agua de Palma. Cuando llueve, el agua es filtrada a través del subsuelo hasta llegar a los acuíferos. De allí se distribuye para el consumo humano. Después de utilizarla para las duchas y lavar la ropa y los platos, el agua es transportada a la depuradora, donde se eliminan todas las sustancias residuales. A continuación, para evitar que la materia orgánica que aún contiene el agua acabe en el mar dañando el ecosistema marino, se usa para regar los campos de golf. De este modo se aprovecha parte de la materia orgánica como fertilizante y se reduce el uso de químicos. Y, de nuevo, vuelta a empezar. El agua se filtra por el subsuelo y la hierba actúa como una depuradora natural, que se queda con la materia orgánica del agua. OW DO WE WATER OUR COURSES? The courses of Arabella Golf Mallorca play a fundamental role, and one there is not enough awareness of, in the reutilisation of water in Palma. When it rains, water filters through the subsoil down to the aquifers. From there, it is distributed for human consumption. After being used for showers and washing clothes and dishes, the water is transported to the purifying plant, where all the residual substances are removed from it. Next, to prevent any organic material the water may still contain from ending up in the sea, damaging the marine ecosystem, it is used to water the golf courses. Bei Regen gelangt das Wasser ins Erdreich und schließlich ins Grundwasser, von wo es in die Haushalte geleitet wird. Nach dem Duschen, Wäschewaschen oder Geschirrspülen wird das Wasser in die Kläranlage transportiert, wo der Abfall herausgefiltert wird. “Fuerza y velocidad no sirven de nada sin coordinación y control”

urelio Ruíz (Sevilla, 1985) es entrenador de los jugadores de los campos de Arabella Golf Mallorca. Es Licenciado en Ciencias de la Actividad Física y del Deporte y tiene un Máster en Alto Rendimiento. ¿Qué condiciones se necesitan para ser un buen jugador de golf? Una mentalidad positiva y capacidad para vencer los miedos o frustraciones, sobre todo tras golpes no deseados o malos hoyos. Además de una condición física concreta. ¿Qué partes del cuerpo se deben trabajar con especial atención? El golf es un deporte muy completo y hay que trabajar constantemente la fuerza, tanto de piernas para darnos una buena estabilidad de brazos y tronco durante los golpes, como todas las articulaciones que entran en juego. En el golf, la fuerza y velocidad no sirven de nada sin coordinación y control. Además, no podemos olvidar la capacidad de reproducir la técnica correcta y la resistencia durante toda la partida o torneo. ¿Qué tres consejos da al jugador en el plano físico? Realizar un trabajo físico frecuente, buen calentamiento antes de empezar y un buen estiramiento tras la práctica. Al realizar actividad física de forma adecuada veremos como mejoramos mucho, y nos divertiremos más practicando golf.

¿Qué servicios ofrece como entrenador personal en los campos de Arabella Golf Mallorca? Llevamos casi dos años ofreciendo clases individuales, en parejas o en grupos reducidos, disfrutando del aire libre que nos da este entorno. Realizamos entrenamientos desde gimnasia de mantenimiento a entrenamientos funcionales intensos, así como para mejorar el rendimiento. Ahora hemos incorporado el yoga a estos servicios, y está teniendo muy buena aceptación entre nuestros clientes.

A positive mentality, and the capacity to overcome fears or frustrations, especially after undesired shots or bad holes. And a specific physical condition. What parts of the body should one pay particular attention to, and work on more? Golf is a very complete sport and you have to constantly work on

strength, both in the legs to give you good stability of arms and torso during strokes, and in all of the limbs that are used during play. In golf, strength and speed are no good without coordination and control. And in addition, we cannot forget the ability to reproduce correct technique and stamina during the entire match or tournament. What three tips would you give to players, in physical terms? Engage in frequent physical work, do a good warm-up before starting and some good stretching after practising. When we do physical activity properly, we see ourselves improve a great deal, and can have more fun playing golf. What services do you offer as a personal coach on the courses of Arabella Golf Mallorca? For nearly two years now we have been giving lessons to individuals, couples or small groups, enjoying the open-air setting here. We conduct training sessions, ranging from maintenance gym to intense, functional training, and also to improve performance. We have now included yoga in these services, and it is becoming very popular with our clients.

Man muss ständig seine Kraft trainieren, zum einen in den Beinen, damit sie Armen und Rumpf beim Schlagen Stabilität verleihen, zum anderen sämtliche Gelenke, die beim Spielen beansprucht werden. Ohne Koordination und Kontrolle nutzen Kraft und Geschwindigkeit im Golfsport gar nichts. Dazu kommen korrekte Spieltechnik sowie Ausdauer und Widerstandskraft während einer Golfrunde oder eines Turniers. Drei Dinge, die Sie den Spielern zur Verbesserung ihrer Fitness raten? Regelmäßig Sport treiben, effektives Aufwärmen vor dem Beginn der Partie und Dehnungsübungen nach dem Ende der Golfrunde. Bei regelmäßigem Training verbessert sich die Fitness des Spielers spürbar und er kann das Golfspiel besser genießen. Welchen Service bieten Sie als Personal Trainer auf den Plätzen von Arabella Golf Mallorca? Seit knapp zwei Jahren offerieren wir Einzel-, Paar- oder Gruppenunterricht mit reduzierter Teilnehmerzahl und genießen die Bewegung an frischer Luft in dieser schönen Umgebung. Wir machen Fitnesstraining, aber auch intensives, funktionales Training und steigern die sportliche Leistung. Seit kurzem gehört Yoga ebenfalls zum Trainingsprogramm und die Spieler sind begeistert.

“Los campos de Arabella Golf Mallorca siempre han sido mi primera elección”

bonada Premium de Arabella Golf Mallorca, Natasha es una deportista nata: jugadora de tenis desde los tres años de edad, se aficionó al golf hace 10 años. En 2019 participa de nuevo en el Ski & Golf World Championship. ¿Dónde empieza su relación con Arabella Golf Mallorca? Hace muchos años que pasamos nuestras vacaciones en Mallorca. Además tuvimos una casa en Son Vida, motivo por el cual los campos de Arabella Golf Mallorca siempre han sido mi primera elección. Diez años atrás daba clases a primera hora de la mañana con un entrenador, y hace cuatro que me hice abonada. Desde mi victoria en la Liga Social ahora también soy abonada Premium. ¿Cumplen los campos de Golf Son Muntaner, Golf Son Vida y Golf Son Quint con sus expectativas en la práctica de golf? No puedo imaginarme una mejor preparación de la que me facilitan los campos de Arabella Golf Mallorca. Cada uno de ellos tiene su propio carácter individual y requiere determinadas habilidades. Las instalaciones del Driving Range de Golf Son Muntaner también son perfectas. ¿Cuál es su campo de Arabella Golf Mallorca favorito y por qué? No es fácil de responder. Cada campo tiene sus ventajas según la época del año. En verano me gusta jugar en el campo de Golf Son Vida, que es más exigente en cuanto a técnica. La mayoría de mis conocidos suelen jugar en el campo de Golf Son Quint, donde he participado muchas veces en la competición para damas. Luego el campo de Golf Son Muntaner, con sus rápidos y maravillosos greens y su paisaje, es quizá el campo más bonito de los tres. ¿Cuáles son sus proyectos deportivos a corto plazo? En la Ski & Golf de 2017 conseguí la medalla de bronce y quiero mejorar de forma continua tanto en el golf como en el esquí. Uno de mis puntos culminantes de este año fue el Campeonato de España para jugadores de golf de más de 35 años, donde alcancé el 16º puesto. En 2019 me gustaría mejorar este registro.

In 2019 she will repeat her participation in the Ski & Golf World Championship. How did your relationahip with Arabella Golf Mallorca begin? Years ago we spent our holidays on Mallorca. We also had a house in Son Vida, which is why the courses of Arabella Golf Mallorca have always been my first choice. Ten years ago I took early morning lessons with an instructor, and I became a member four years ago. Since my victory in the Liga Social, I have become a Premium Member as well. Do the Golf Son Muntaner, Golf Son Vida and Golf Son Quint courses meet your golfing expectations? I can’t imagine a better form of preparation than that provided by the Arabella Golf Mallorca courses. Each one has its own individual personality and calls for certain skills. The Driving Range of the Golf Son Muntaner installation is also perfect.

Which is your favourite Arabella Golf Mallorca course, and why? That’s a difficult question to answer. Each course has its advantages, depending on the time of year. In summer, I like to play on the Golf Son Vida course, which is more demanding in terms of technique. Most of my acquaintances tend to play on the Golf Son Quint course, where I have taken part in the ladies’ competition many times. And the Golf Son Muntaner course, with its wonderful fast greens and scenery, is perhaps the most beautiful one of the three. What are your short-term sporting projects? I won the bronze medal at the 2017 Ski & Golf and I would like to continue improving both at golf and at skiing. One of the highlights of this year for me was the Spanish Golf Championship for over 35s, in which I came in 16th place. In 2019, I would like to improve this ranking.

Deshalb sind die Plätze der Arabella Golf Mallorca immer meine erste Wahl gewesen. Vor zehn Jahren absolvierte ich zu früher Morgenstunde meine erste Golfstunde mit Trainer. Seit vier Jahren bin ich Mitglied und dank des Sieges bei der Liga Social nun ebenfalls Premium Mitglied. Entsprechen die Golfplätze Golf Son Muntaner, Golf Son Vida und Golf Son Quint Ihren Erwartungen? Ich kann mir keine bessere Vorbereitung als auf den Plätzen der Arabella Golf Mallorca vorstellen, zumal jeder Platz seinen individuellen Charakter hat und andere Anforderungen stellt. Außerdem sind die Trainingseinrichtungen der Driving Range von Golf Son Muntaner einfach perfekt. Welcher ist Ihr Lieblingsplatz bei Arabella Golf Mallorca und warum? Schwierig zu sagen, jeder Platz hat zu den verschiedenen Jahreszeiten seine Vorzüge. Im Sommer spiele ich gern auf Golf Son Vida, der technisch anspruchsvollste der Plätze. Auf Golf Son Quint spielen die meisten meiner Bekannten, hier habe ich oft am Damenturnier teilgenommen. Golf Son Muntanter hingegen ist der vielleicht schönste Platz, mit seinen wunderschönen schnellen Grüns und der bezaubernden Landschaft. Welche Sportprojekte möchten Sie kurzfristig umsetzen? Bei der Ski & Golf 2017 errang ich die Bronzemedaille, ich will mich im Golf und beim Skifahren kontinuierlich weiter verbessern. Einer der diesjährigen Höhepunkte meiner Karriere war die Teilnahme an der Spanischen Golfmeisterschaft für Spieler Plus 35. Dort erzielte ich den 16. Platz, ein Ergebnis, das ich 2019 gern verbessern würde.

“El Seitai ayuda a aumentar la autoconfianza”

l fisioterapeuta Juan Manuel Alloza habla de esta técnica japonesa que produce bienestar tanto en el cuerpo como en el estado de ánimo. ¿En qué consiste Seitai y cómo lo aplica en los campos de Arabella Golf Mallorca? La palabra Seitai en japonés significa organismo en equilibrio. Más que un método es una filosofía de vida creada por el maestro japonés Haruchika Noguchi, en la primera mitad del siglo pasado, que promete recuperar la armonía y la salud del organismo a través de la activación del movimiento interno regenerador y espontáneo (Katsugen undo). Todas las personas poseemos esta capacidad, se trata de un movimiento espontáneo independiente de nuestra actividad consciente y activado por el sistema extrapiramidal. Simplemente hay que dejarse llevar y dejar que el cuerpo se active libremente para poder rearmonizar nuestro cuerpo y mente con la naturaleza y el universo. La práctica del Seitai proporciona un bienestar psicofísico, es decir, se aprecia tanto en el cuerpo como en el estado de ánimo. ¿Qué beneficios tiene para los jugadores de golf el Seitai? Al mejorar la verticalidad y movilidad de la columna vertebral y eliminar las tensiones, aumenta la movilidad general del cuerpo y permite un swing amplio con más naturalidad y facilidad. También previene la aparición de lesiones y, a nivel mental, ayuda a aumentar la autoconfianza y eliminar preocupaciones y tensiones, mejora la capacidad de concentración y autocontrol en el golpeo. ¿Cómo se puede acceder a una sesión de Seitai? En la actualidad estamos haciendo sesiones introductivas de Seitai en Golf Son Muntaner, para que la gente conozca la disciplina. El objetivo es que, cuando los jugadores lo practiquen de forma regular, puedan aplicarlo después en los campos de entrenamiento y de golf, y después en las competiciones.

What does Seitai consist of, and how do you apply it at the Arabella Golf Mallorca courses? In Japanese, the word Seitai means organism in equilibrium. More than a method, it is a philosophy of life created by the Japanese master Haruchika Noguchi during the first half of the last century, which promises recovery of the harmony and health of the organism by activating regenerative and spontaneous internal movement (Katsugen undo). We all possess this capacity, it is a spontaneous movement independent of our conscious activity, activated by an extra-pyramidal system. All you have to do is let yourself go and allow your body to be activated freely so as to be able to re-harmonise body and mind with nature and the universe. The practice of

Seitai provides psychophysical wellbeing, that is to say, it can be felt both in the body and in one’s mood. What benefits does Seitai have for golfers? By improving the verticality and mobility of the spine and eliminating tensions, it increases the general mobility of the body and allows for a broad swing that takes place more naturally and with greater ease. It also prevents the appearance of injuries and on a mental level, it helps increase self-confidence and eliminate worries and tensions, improving the capacity for concentration and self-control during strokes. How can one take part in a Seitai session? At present we are conducting introductory Seitai sessions at Golf Son Muntaner, so that people can learn about the discipline. The aim is that, when players practise it regularly, they can apply it afterwards on the training ranges and golf courses, and subsequently in competitions.

Durch die Verbesserung der vertikalen Position und der Mobilität der Wirbelsäule werden Spannungen abgebaut und die physische Beweglichkeit erhöht. Das erlaubt einen größeren Swing, der zudem natürlicher und leichter ausgeführt wird. Zudem trägt Seitai zur Vorbeugung von Verletzungen bei und stärkt auf mentaler Ebene das Selbstvertrauen, löst Sorgen und Blockaden, verbessert die Konzentrationsfähigkeit und Selbstkontrolle beim Schlagen. Una de las favoritas es la tabla con una selección de embutidos mallorquines, una deliciosa manera de probar la típica sobrasada y el no tan conocido camaiot, acompañados de pan y tomate, como en el típico pa amb oli mallorquín. También destaca el jamón ibérico de Jabugo servido con pan mallorquín y aceite de oliva virgen extra, los huevos rotos en sartén con jamón y patatas caseras o el pincho de solomillo de cerdo. Todos estos platos maridan perfectamente con una cerveza Paulaner bien fresquita.

One of the favourites is the board with a selection of Mallorcan cold cuts, a delicious way of trying the typical sobrassada and the not-so-wellknown camaiot, accompanied by bread and tomato,

as in the typical Mallorcan pa amb oli. Other highlights are the Iberian Jabugo ham served with Mallorcan bread and extra virgin olive oil, ‘broken eggs’ in a frying pan with ham and homemade potatoes or the pork tenderloin pincho. All of these dishes marry perfectly with a chilled Paulaner beer.

urante los últimos meses, los jugadores de los campos de Arabella Golf Mallorca han “afinado su puntería” logrando varios hole in one. El pasado 1 de abril de 2018, Mirja Gansloser hacía un “hoyo en uno” en el hoyo 16 en Golf Son Vida. Christian Huseby también lo consiguió el pasado 3 de julio, en el hoyo 14 de Golf Son Quint. Y María del Pilar Gomila Sureda, durante la prueba del Circuito Senior de la Federación Balear de Golf, el 19 de julio, en el hoyo 4 de Golf Son Vida. A finales de septiembre los hole in one se multiplicaron. El 24 de septiembre, en el hoyo 14 de Golf Son Quint, lo logró Andrés Croon, miembro de Happy Group. También Ed Britz, en el hoyo 13 de Golf Son Muntaner, usando un hierro 9, el 25 de septiembre. Y María Teresa Alcover, en el hoyo 3 de Golf Son Quint, justo al día siguiente. Los últimos hole in one, hasta la fecha de esta publicación, han sido de Richard Mounsor en el hoyo 14 de Golf Son Quint ,el 30 de septiembre; y Klaus Grieshaber, primer hoyo en uno de la historia en el renovado hoyo 9 de Golf Son Quint, el 9 de octubre.

At the end of September, the holes in one multiplied: on September 24th, at hole 14 of Golf Son Quint, Andrés Croon, a member of Happy Group managed one. And so did Ed Britz, at hole 13 of Golf Son Muntaner, using a number 9 iron, on 25th September. As did María Teresa Alcover, at hole 3 of Golf Son Quint, on the very next day. The last holes in one at the date of publication were hit by Richard Mounsor at hole 14 of Golf Son Quint, on 30th September; and Klaus Grieshaber, who attained the first hole in one in the history of the renovated hole 9 at Golf Son Quint on 9th October.

April 2018 ein hole in one am Loch 16 auf Golf Son Vida, während Christian Huseby der „Ritterschlag“ am 3. Juli 2018 auf Bahn 14 des Golfplatzes Golf Son Quint gelang. Beim Turnier „Circuito Senior” des Balearischen Golfverbandes glückte María del Pilar Gomila Sureda am 19. Juli 2018 der “Königstreffer“ an Loch 4 auf dem Golfplatz Golf Son Vida. Doch Ende September reihte sich ein hole in one an das nächste: Andrés Croon, Mitglied der Happy Group (24. September, Bahn 14, Golf Son Quint); Ed Britz, der mit dem Eisen Nummer 9 am 25. September auf Bahn 13 des Golfplatzes Golf Son Muntaner erfolgreich war; gleich am nächsten Tag „legte“ María Teresa Alcover an Loch 3 des Golfplatzes Golf Son Quint „nach“ und Richard Mounsor gelang das Kunststück am 30. September auf Bahn 14 auf Golf Son Quint. Das letzte hole in one bei Redaktionsschluss hatte Klaus Grieshaber am 9. Oktober zum ersten Mal in der Geschichte an dem renovierten Loch 9 auf Golf Son Quint eingelocht.

urante el mes de noviembre, el jugador de golf Michael Dolan hizo un Hole in One en un Par 3 en el hoyo 8 de Golf Son Vida. La bola fue directa al hoyo desde 128 metros de distancia. De esta manera Dolan entrará en la Gran Final de Million Dollar Hole in One para competir por el millón de dólares. ¡Mucha suerte!

INALIST OF MILLION DOLLAR HOLE IN ONE. During the month of November, golfer Michael Dolan hizo hit a hole in one on a par 3 at hole 8 of Golf Son Vida. The ball went directly into the hole from a distance of 128 metres. In this way Dolan will enter the Grand Finale of the Million Dollar Hole in One, competing for a million dollars. Best of luck!

M FINALE DES MILLION DOLLAR HOLE IN ONE. Im November gelang dem Golfspieler Michael Dolan ein einzigartiges Kunststück: ein hole in one am Par 3 auf Bahn 8 auf Golf Son Vida. Aus sage und schreibe 128 Metern Abstand rollte der Ball direkt ins Loch. Damit nimmt Dolan am Großen Finale des Million Dollar Hole in One teil, bei dem die Siegerprämie atemberaubende eine Million Dollar beträgt. Wir wünschen viel Glück!
