Aunque los tres jugadores eran candidatos para llevarse el título, McDowell consiguió un birdie, y por lo tanto el premio El Camaleón de esta edición. Tanto Knox como Bohn estuvieron cerca de mantener el empate, pero sus tiros no les favorecieron.

McDowell recibió el trofeo de manos de Juan Miguel Villar Mir, presidente de OHL, quien felicitó al campeón, cuyos primeros pasos en este deporte se dieron a la edad de 7 años junto con sus hermanos por presión de su papá.

McDowell received the trophy from Juan Miguel Villar Mir, OHL President, who congratulated the champion whose first steps in this sport were given at the age of 7 with his brothers, under his father’s pressure.

El jugador, que ocupa el lugar 56 a nivel mundial, ha ganado 13 torneos mundiales, incluyendo el 2010 US Open Championship en el que representó a Europa en la Copa Ryder y el 2013 RBC Heritage.

Aunque todos los equipos hicieron un gran trabajo, hubo uno que llamó la atención de participantes e invitados, y que además logró la tercera posición. Se trata del grupo formado por Ricardo Salinas Pliego, Jorge Campos, Inés Sainz y Jeff Lewis, quienes fueron liderados por el golfista mexicano Carlos Ortiz.

“Hospiten presentó conferencia para ginecólogos y obstetras” “Hospiten hosted a lecture for gynecologists and obstetricians”

rupo Hospiten presentó una conferencia magistral con el ginecólogo y obstetra Dr. Carlos Quesnel, vicepresidente del Consejo Mexicano de Ginecología y Obstetricia, y también profesor adjunto de esta especialidad en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, y del Instituto Nacional de Perinatología. Quesnel destacó que los médicos ginecobstetras deben bajar el índice de partos por cesárea a menos que existan riesgos para la salud tanto de la madre como del hijo. Por lo demás es importante enseñar a los pacientes a ser más tolerantes a un dolor pasajero y motivarlas a un parto natural.

Quesnel mentioned that doctors should decrease the rate of C-section surgeries unless there are health risks for the mother and/or the newborn. Otherwise it is important to teach patients to be more tolerant to a short-lived pain, and encourage them to give birth in a natural way.

“Un parto por cesárea aumenta el riesgo de lesionar algún órgano, ya sea vesícula, intestino, vegija, que contraiga una infección, trombosis pélvica o venosa por el tiempo que están acostadas”, dijo Quesnel. Aunque la cesárea es rápida y con una disminución considerable de dolor, el especialista afirmó que se ha abusado de este método que resulta cómodo. Por ello invitó a los presentes a reflexionar sobre el tratamiento adecuado para cada caso.

“A C-section delivery increases the risk of an organ injury, either the vesicle, the bladder intestines, or getting an infection, and pelvic or venous thrombosis because of the time the patient remains in bed,” said Quesnel. Although C-section is fast and it brings a considerable decrease in pain, the specialist said doctors have indeed abused this method because it seems convenient. So he invited attendees to reflect on the appropriate treatment for each case.

Sobre su trayectoria “Empecé a los 16 años en la escuela profesional en la Isla de la Reunión (Oceáno Índico), después trabajé seis años en París en diversos restaurantes. En México, D.F. entré de lleno a la hotelería. Llevo 23 años trabajando como chef ejecutivo en diferentes cadenas de hoteles en México”.

About your experience “I started college in Reunion Island (Indian Ocean) when I was 16 years old. Then I worked for six years in various restaurants in Paris. I got entirely involded in the hotel industry when I was living in Mexico City. It’s been 23 years since I have worked as the executive chef at many hotel companies across Mexico.”

Por ello, te recomiendo una variedad de vinos que podríamos utilizar para las diversas celebraciones que nos esperan a lo largo del año con familiares y amigos, como un cumpleaños, la compra de una casa o la celebración de un aniversario.

Si eres de las personas que gusta brindar con vinos espumosos: ¿Dulces? Toma en cuenta algunos de los vinos italianos como Asti Martini, Cinzano, Riccadonna, Moscato, Pinelli o Mondoro. ¿Más conservador? Si sólo gustas de champagne, te recomiendo Veuve Clicquot, Cristal, y Moet & Chandon Nectar Imperial. Encontrarás un dulzor muy grato cercano al chabacano, mango y piña medianamente maduros, y una espuma suave que acariciará tu paladar. Si tu preferencia son los sabores astringentes y amargos, mi recomendación son los vinos Cava como Freixenet Cordón Negro, Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial, Palo Alto Brut y otros espumosos como Blanc de Blancs, Prestige Cuvée y Perrier Jouët. Y si tu paladar gusta de vinos tranquilos, aquí mis sugerencias: -Blancos: Diamante, Cuatro Rayas Verdejo, Trio Chardonnay, Trapiche Torrontes, Casa Mayor Chardonnay, Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc y Los Vascos Chardonnay. -Rosados: Casa Madero V, Rose D’Anjou, Barefoot Pink Moscato, Marqués de Cáceres y L.A. Cetto Blanc de Zinfandel. -Tintos: Reserva Magna, Santo Tomás Duetto, Puerto Nuevo Cabernet-Malbec, Fauno, Tinto Mexicano, Ghost Pines Zinfandel, Pata Negra Crianza, Gran Coronas Reserva, Beso de Vino Garnacha y Cantaburros. a legendaria banda estadounidense Toto hizo vibrar a la Riviera Maya con su música, en un concierto en el que recorrió sus casi cuatro décadas de carrera. Steve Lukather, Joseph Williams, David Paichy Steve Porcaro tocaron para huéspedes e invitados del Moon Palace Cancún, quienes en todo momento cantaron y se emocionaron. Los integrantes bromearon acerca de su edad y pidieron al público que interactuaran con ellos. Así, tras la cena ofrecida previo al concierto, los asistentes disfrutaron de temas como ‘I`ll be over you’, ‘Hold the line’ y ‘Africa’, entre otras.
