Day 2 Yogyakarta Start the day with a visit to Candirejo, a traditional Javanese village which is rich with natural surroundings. Later, gain a real insight into local life as you participate in daily social activities. This afternoon, discover the spectacular Borobudur temple, the largest buddhist sanctuary in the world. (B)
Day 3 Yogyakarta Explore the ancient village of Kotagede, discover local monuments such as Mataram Old Mosque and Kalang House before wandering through a traditional market. Take time to admire the historic Sultan’s palace, which dates back to the seventeenth century. (B)
