Good Neighbors Home Repair We provide home repairs to qualified homeowners in Southern Chester County.
Since 1992, we have helped over 250 homeowners in Southern Chester County, PA. Volunteers have given thousands of hours and homeowners experience restored dignity and hope in the process. Good Neighbors Inc. is a Christian home repair ministry. Our outreach involves working on homes mainly in Southern Chester County, PA. We rely on donations, fund-raising events and grants for our support and do not charge for our services.

How do you qualify for Good Neighbor services? 1. Your household income must not exceed the Federal and County guidelines for low income. 2. Verification of home ownership. 3. All property taxes are current.
If you meet these criteria, call 610-444-1860 or email us: info@goodneighborshomerepair.org and we will set up an appointment to visit your home and assist you with the application process. Once the application is complete, we will inspect your home to identify the critical areas of repair needed. This also helps us prioritize the work. Finally, since most of our work is done by volunteers, we will notify you when we can begin to do the work. Our services are provided to anyone regardless of race, creed, religion, age, or ethnicity.
We are part of a large care network of resources that exist in Chester County to assist homeowners with many needs. Very often we are able to connect you with these resources; such as; county nurses, meals on wheels, transportation, financial counseling, yard work and many others.
Good Neighbors Inc exists but to put our gifts to work in measurable, meaningful ways. We use our hands, our tools, and our financial resources to repair the leaking roofs, fix faulty plumbing, and get the home heating systems working. We do our best to live and give as Jesus Christ taught when he said "love your neighbor as yourself". As a faith-based ministry, we purpose to help homeowners who desire to stay in their homes but are unable to afford or do repairs themselves. To accomplish our mission, we freely give our time, skills and knowledge for the sake of meeting the growing need for warmer, safer, drier and healthier homes for you, our neighbor. We are a registered 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization and raise our funds from many sources who share our vision of eradicating substandard housing in Southern Chester County.
