WEEK 3 READING: LE CORBUSIER AND PURISM
Question 1: What is Pictorial Space according to Le Corbusier? (Maximum 100 words) According to Le Corbusier, Pictorial Space is decieded by specific distance and its is always fixed. It creates the sense of volume dimentionally. One example of it is his plainting made up of colour-planes.
Question 2: The Flatness of Le Corbusier’s painting’s are attributable to two properties. What are they? And what are these pitted against?(Maximum 100 words) According to this reading, Le Corbusier’s believes distance or depth in painting is not longer important. Instead, it represents the cesura between the image of the object and itself, which is the only logical explanation for his pictorial space. Moreover, his use of colour is aiming to show contrast or all the objects will be indistinguishable.

WEEK 4 READING: AXONOMETRIC PROJECTION:
Question 1: Explain the difference between Pictoral (in this case perspectival) space and Projection? (Maximum 100 words) The difference between pictorial (perspectival) space and projection is the degree of limitation. Pictorial space is known as ‘can not be entered or circulated through,’ therefore its space is significantly confined. Projection reaches the effect of infinity by stretching the viewpoint to eternity.
Question 2: Where did Axonometric projection first arise, and why? (Maximum 100 words) Axonometric projection was firstly used in around two-hundred years ago. It was substantially associated mechanization and industrialization. Therefore, was taught in engineering schools. It is very useful, because learning it helps to develop further military skill.
