In order to help you with your stay at Aqua Luna we compiled some really useful information in this compendium complete with emergency contacts, In-Villa services, neighborhood decorum and appliance manuals for you convenience. We hope it can be useful during your stay and can assist with your transition into vacation mode. Pre Arrival Before you depart on your vacation, you will be sent a comprehensive House Guide for the villa. House Guides are designed to help you get the most out of your accommodation and the local area. They include all the contacts you may require during your stay and highlight any safety elements specific to the villa. A hardcopy of this Guide is also available at villa for easy reference. Prior to your arrival, feel free to drop us a line with all the activities you would like to experience during your stay. We recommend activities such as exclusive yatch charter, intimate sunset barbeque by the terrace and in-villa child minding services to be booked in advance.

What is a Concierge Service (CS)? Our dedicated concierge team arranges all the added extras you need for a bespoke vacation experience. Whether pre-stocking for groceries before your arrival, excursion recommendations, arranging for car hire, personal chefs or, our team will take care of everything. They are only a phone call away ensuring a private and discreet villa experience for our guests. They attend the villa for inspection prior to check-in to make sure all is just right before heading to the airport to welcome you.

Pre-arrival Grocery Service To help ease our guests into holiday mode, our CS team is happy to assist with shopping for basic pantry staples before you check in. See the list attached and email it to us your order at least 3 days before. Let us know if you have any special requests and we will try to source it for you. Provisions and service charges are to be paid in cash directly to the CS.

Airport Transfers Email us the names of guests checking in and flight details so airport pick up logistics arrangements can be made. Single airport pickup or return are charged at THB500 per trip up to 4 people. PAGE 3


Airport Meet & Greet and Thai SIM Card On your arrival at Koh Samui Airport and once you clear immigration, make sure the white departure card is stapled to your passport page with the Thai entry stamp. Should you choose not to turn on data roaming during your stay in Samui, we advise you to purchase a prepaid SIM card at one of the telecom provider kiosks pass the luggage carousel. You can top up the credit to your phone at any convenience store such as Family Mart or 7/11. The villa has excellent high-speed internet but has no fixed land line, getting a Thai SIM card is highly recommended. Head towards the Meeting Point on your left and walk pass the travellator. Our friendly CS will meet you at the Meeting Point holding a welcome board and take you for a 15-minute drive to the villa.

Villa Check –In Our CS will walk you through the villa to familiarise yourself with the amenities, appliances and security details. On arrival and departure, a joint inspection of the property will be carried out by the CS and the guest. It will serve as the only reference document in case of dispute. They are open to discuss the organization of tours and sightseeing excursions, rental of transportation and other in-villa services you might be interested in during your stay.

Checkout Time and Procedures Check out time is 12 noon however we are happy to accommodate late checkouts subject to availability. Please inform the CS should there be any changes in your flight details. The CS will meet you at the Villa half an hour before the agreed check out time to settle any outstanding charges such as electricity consumption and drive you to the airport 2 hours prior to your flight.

Water and Electricity Chargesntil recently, we built the electricity costs into the nightly rate. However, we f Until recently, we built the electricity costs into the nightly rate. However, we found that air con units would be left on all day, even when the villa was unoccupied. So as an eco-friendly approach, we have reduced the nightly rates, and added an electric charge, allowing you to pay for only the electricity that you use. The electricity meter is read on check in and check out. Your rates include a daily allowance of 45Kw for electricity. Should you exceed your free allowance, a charge of 8 (eight) Baht per unit will be made. This is deductible from your refundable security deposit on check-out and is common practice in Thailand. The electricity in Thailand is 220 volts, 50 cycles/sec. At Aqua Luna we absorb the water rates. However, we ask our guest to conserve and be mindful of the environment. Owners' Tip – When you're comfortably settled, ask for personal driver to take you to Central Festival where you can purchase additional groceries, general provisions and SIM cards. The biggest mall on the island and right in the middle of downtown Samui, Chaweng, it has modern restaurants, pharmacies and a speciality grocery store, TOPS.

Emergency Calls The villa does not have a land line phone, it is the guests’ responsibility to make arrangements for emergency calls and communications. We will not accept any responsibility for renters unable to contact 191 services or 077-421 444 ambulance emergency number in the event of an emergency if no phone is provided.

In Case Of Emergencies Power Blackouts - With Samui being a remote island, power outages are inevitable but not frequent, with this in mind we have installed an automatic generator which restores power in seconds and can run for up to 12 hours in the event of a power outage. The generator is located underneath the villa and is inaudible.

➢ Fire extinguishers are located under the kitchen sink and in the storage cupboard next to the barbecue grill. ➢ Smoke alarms are installed throughout the house and you can find a First Aid Kit in the laundry room cupboard. ➢ Torch lights are attached to the inside of the wardrobes in every room.

Wifi System and Internet Speed We understand the importance of being connected to the internet while away. A dedicated server is installed to ensure uninterrupted WIFI connection during your stay. Internet speed is 50Mb download and 25Mb upload which is enough to let you stream films and TV programmes in the highest quality with ease. No buffering, no stuttering pictures or huge dips in image quality, even at the highest setting. Wireless access points are placed throughout the house to ensure uninterrupted internet access. A backup battery server relay is installed in the laundry room in case of power outages.

Drinking Water The villa provides 6 half-litre bottled drinking water in the fridge upon check-in with our compliments. Top of the range water filtration system is installed throughout the villa and ensures safe for drinking water from every faucet and does not require boiling. An Under-Sink Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Filter System provided guarantees to remove up to 99% of harmful water contaminants such as chlorine, taste, odour, VOCs, as well as toxic fluoride, sodium, arsenic, lead, nitrates and heavy metals.

House Keeping and Villa Maintenance Our discreet villa maintenance and housekeepers will ring the doorbell at 10 am every Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Housekeeping services cover general cleaning and all linens and towels will be replaced. Extra cleaning service is available at 600thb per day.

Beach Access / Samrong Bay We are fortunate to share the same beach as the six star resort Six Senses. To access the beach, walk down the slope towards the end of our street. Between Villa Number 2 and Kinaree restaurant, you will find a pebbled walkway which leads to Samrong Bay. Alternatively, you can walk through Kinaree restaurant and their staff will be happy to direct you to the beach. Larger islands such as Koh Pangan guard the bay, and as such, the waves are very gentle and suitable for children to swim in without worry. Kayaks are available for rent at the beachside

Transportation Hire / Dedicated Taxi Service We can provide you a car/minivan with a personal driver for 500thb per hour or a number for an on-call taxi service. An automatic 5-seater sedan can be rented for THB1,000 or a 6 or 7-seater 4-wheel drive for THB2,500 per day. In Thailand, we drive on the left-hand side. A 150CC motorbike can be rented at THB400-450 a day and helmets will be provided. Neither the owner, nor the website shall be liable for any delay or dysfunction related to passenger transportation, which may be organized by an independent provider.

Mobile Taxi Booking App - NaviGo A new app similar to Uber and worth downloading is NaviGo. We recently booked a taxi though this app and it accurately pin pointed our pick-up location. The app is in English however, you need a Thai number to download and register. You can find a taxi card for directions in Thai by the front door of the villa making it a breeze to get back from anywhere in the island.

Parking The villa has its own parking space by the front steps for a car or two motor bikes by the entryway. Please refrain from parking in the shared driveway at all times.

Bangrak Minimart In Thailand, you can only legally purchase alcohol between the hours of 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. – midnight. If you require a decent bottle of wine or liquor during these 'prohibition' hours, ask your driver to make a stop at this mini-mart to stock up on quality wines and liquors. Beers can be purchased at most 7-11 or Family Mart.

Garbage Collection Bin liners for indoor trash cans are provided. Kindly dispose your trash in the black refuse bin just below the front door. Garbage is collected every morning.

Circuit Breakers The breaker box is in the laundry room, on the wall beside the right-most closet. Simply open the metal panel, check for the popped breaker, pull it TOWARD the middle of the panel then pull away. It will click into place.

International Power Adaptor We have provided an electrical adaptor in every room. Please ensure to leave it behind for the next guests.

Security There are 2 security cameras surrounding the property and the locations will be disclosed to you as part of your property tour. For our safety and yours these cameras record 24/7 and footage is secured. Attempting to disconnect or destroy them will not delete the footage already captured and will trigger the alarm.

Unregistered Overnight Guests All overnight guests must be approved in advance through the booking process and are subject to an additional fee as noted in the agreement.

Baby Cot/High Chair Our CS will be delighted to provide a baby cot and or high chair upon request at no extra charge.

Breakages We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything please let us know immediately. We would like to agree the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later. Thank you!

In-villa Dining Indulge yourself to an authentic Thai dining experience within the comfort and privacy of the villa. A personal Chef Service is charged at THB 2,500 per meal. A culinary tour of Bangrak wet market for seafood and fresh ingredients shopping, personal chef service for in-villa cooking is charged at THB3,000 per meal. We highly recommend a full-service alfresco dining or seafood barbecue at our terrace during sunset. Rates varies with the selection of seafood and number of diners, our concierge service is happy to assist on making each meal an occasion and your holiday a celebration Provisions and not included and are payable in cash to our CS.

Breakfast Delivery The villa partners with 2 reliable breakfast service providers that delivers directly to our doorsteps. Kindly ring them to arrange which breakfast options you require and set the delivery time. We advise you to place your orders the night before and please take note that there is NO breakfast service on Sundays for one of the providers as stated in their menu attached. The charges for this service is payable in cash direct to the providers.

NEIGHBOURING DINING OPTIONS The Wood House Opened in 2018, The Wood House is the newest addition to the neighbourhood. Dinner service starts daily from 5pm-11pm and boasts enviable sunset views. Housed in an intricate teak structure which can be seen from our terrace, The Wood House is a mere stone’s throw away from the villa. With its friendly and relaxed atmosphere, this reasonably priced restaurant is the perfect place to lay back enjoy the best Thai dining experience on this part of Samui.

The Bay – Kinaree Restaurant Located conveniently at the bottom of our street, this restaurant run by The Bay (formerly known as the Arayaburi Resort) was recently refurbished. Kinaree is an estate’s favourite and worth a visit if you prefer not to venture too far from the villa and enjoy short stroll along the beach while waiting for your meal to be served.

Sopa Khun Sopa personally delivers to your doorstep often within less than an hour of calling in your order. You can find her comprehensive Thai and Western food menu on the top right drawer of the kitchen island or on the link below. Six Senses We are fortunate to share the same beach and a mere 300m stroll to this 6-star resort. Their outdoor lunch buffets and sundowner cocktails are not to be missed. If you walk up towards Six Senses along the beach, ask their staff to arrange for a golf cart to take you to their restaurants and bars. Transportation back to the Villa can be arranged at the at their front desk.

Neighbouring Hotels and Restaurants Villa AquaLuna is surrounded by 5 star resorts such as the newly opened Ritz Carlton, The Sala, Tongsai Bay as well as Melati. Our neighborhood Choeng Mon boasts the best selection of seafood restaurants in Samui. So between 5 star dining experience to trying out the local seafood all within 5 minutes drive from the villa, we are spoilt for choice!

Indemnifications The guest agrees to indemnify and save individual homeowner and its contractors, free and harmless for any liabilities or any loss or damages whatsoever arising from, related to, or in connection with rental of the premises. This includes, but is not limited to any claim or liability for personal injury or damage or loss of property, which is made, incurred or sustained, by guest or guest of guest, or any occupants of the premise.

Infinity Swimming Pool The pool steals the limelight, teasing you to take a dip every now and then. It's is chlorinated and is regularly serviced and monitored. The deepest part of the pool is 7 feet or 2 metres deep. All reasonable steps have been taken to ensure you have an enjoyable and safe holiday at the villa. For your safety we ask our guests to observe these safety rules and regulations.

NO diving from any side of the pool NO lilos or pool inflatables are allowed in the pool at any time Refrain from walking or seating on the ledge of the pool. It's a 10m drop! Eating, drinking and smoking are prohibited in the swimming pool. No breakable items, e.g. drinking glasses, glass bottles, etc. are to be used around or in the pool. Acrylic glasses are provided for your safety and convenience Indoors furniture is to be kept indoors and not be taken to the pool.

Villa Indoor Space Space is key at Villa Aqua Luna. The ceiling to floor retractable doors come in handy should you wish to create an open-concept living or if you would rather close it and turn on the airconditioning. Alternatively, if you would rather enjoy watching and listening to the crashing waves, an outdoor dining space is an ideal space for it.

The ceiling light switch can be found on the left of the door. The light can be turned on and adjusted through the dimmer. Due to the height of the bunk beds ceiling fans are not installed in this bedroom for safety reasons. Please be mindful while on the top bunk bed as we are not liable for any injury.

You will find all the necessary kitchen crockery, cutlery and utensils and cleaning supplies including dishwashing tablets stored in the kitchen cupboards. The small tap on the left-hand side of the kitchen sink dispenses distilled water and is best used to top up the ice machine in the fridge.

A family sized washer, dryer is installed and we provide initial laundry supplies for the first few days your stay. Only run your laundry on the COLD setting for both white and colours. Should you wish to outsource your laundry, the CS can arrange for drop off /pick up laundry service payable directly to them.
