Pumirma ng kontrata si Alex Gonzaga kasama ang Star Cinema bosses na sina Malou Santos at Olive Lamasan, ang boss ng ABSCBN Publishing na si Mark J. Yambot, at ang kanyang Ina na si Pinty Gonzaga na kanya ding manager. Hindi na nga mapigilan pa ang pagiging matagumpay na manunulat ni Alex lalo pa nasa ika-pitong printing na ng kanyang libro. Ngunit sinabi din ng Managing Director ng Star Cinema na si Malou Santos na may iba pang nabanggit si Alex sa kanya nang minsang magkita sila. Ayon sa boss ng Star Cinema isa din si Matteo Guidicelli sa mga nais ni Alex na gumanap sa pelikula. Hindi na nagbigay pa ng detalye pa si Alex patungkol sa pelikula at hinimok pa ang mga tao na, “Yun ang kailangan nilang abangan kasi aabangan ko din yun. Sabay-sabay kami.” Natanong din ng PUSH kung may magiging parte ba ang kanyang Ate na si Toni Gonzaga sa proseso ng pelikula, ang palabirong sagot ni Alex, “Siguro dahil magiging part din naman ako ng kasal niya ibigay ko din sa kanya pra meron naman akong maibabawi sa kanya. Feeling ko marami naman siyang natutunan sa akin, [yung mga] natutunan ko din sa kanya, nagamit ko sa librong ito pero depende yun sa kanya. Neil Perez named Mister International 2014-2015 PO2 Neil Perez, the country’s representative to the 9th Mister International, has just been declared the winner. According to BEAUTY pageant website Missosology.info, Neil was a favorite through out the pageant held in Seoul, South Korea today, February 14. Neil tearfully walked down the stage and saluted, as what netizens interpreted as dedicating his win to his fellow policemen, the fallen SAF 44. In his interview before leaving for Korea, he said he bought his lucky charms, a Pope Francis coin and his badge. Miss Venezuela noong 2012, siya ang may hawak ngayon ng korona bilang Miss Universe 2013. At sa taong sinubok ang Pilipinas dahil sa mga sunod-sunod na kalamidad na nakaapekto sa bansa, isa si Gabriella na naghatid ng tulong sa mga nasalanta ng Bagyong Yolanda sa Palawan at nanguna na makalikom ng pera para sa mga biktima. Siya din ang isa sa mga naging judges sa nakaraang Bb. Pilipinas 2013 kung saan nakoronahan si MJ Lastimosa bilang kinatawan ng ating bansa.

Stella Marquez Zawadski-Araneta Ang pinakaunang Miss International na si Stella Marquez-Araneta ay ang Pageant Director at Organizer ng Bb. Pilipinas, mula pa noong 1964. Nakapangasawa din siya ng isang Pilipino, si Jorge Araneta, mula sa kilalang angkan ng mga Araneta. Kaya naman sa bawat tagumpay ng mga sumasali sa mga beauty pageants ay nasa likod nito ang paggabay at suporta ni Stella Marquez-Araneta upang mas makilala pa ang ganda at galing ng Pilipinas sa buong mundo.

Dayanara Torres Nakaukit na sa kasayasayan ng Philippine show business ang pangalan ni Dayanara Torres. Matapos niyang koronahan si Sushmita Sen taong 1994, nagtuloy-tuloy na nga ang pamamayagpag ng Puerto Rican sa bansa. Apat na taong nanirahan sa bansa si Dayanara at nakagawa ng halos sampung pelikula. TONI GONZAGA ON HER ENGAGEMENT TO PAUL SORIANO:

TRUE LOVE WAITS

urns out that Toni Gonzaga's absence during last week's The Buzz episode wasn't for nothing as she happily announced this Sunday that she's now finally engaged to her longtime boyfriend Paul Soriano.

According to Toni, she has opted to attend her two other shows ASAP XV and The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 because she didn't need to "be honest" on the said shows. Whereas in Buzz, she would have to share and be honest with her co-hosts Boy Abunda nd Kris Aquino, whom she says she considers as her family, about what happened during her birthday. Paul, who was also present during the tell all on The Buzz, related what happened a few moments after Toni's birthday at their home in Taytay, Rizal. He said he did the proposal in front of the entire Gonzaga family. "It's been seven and a half years and you know she's been a great part of my life, the best blessing i've ever received and you know I want to spend the rest of my life with her. We're engaged, we're engaged. I'm super happy," Paul began. He shared, "It was right after her birthday like literally 12:30 am. On January 21, we had just come from a birthday dinner and I had the ring in my pocket the whole dinner. I wanted to wait for the right private moment. It happened in her home, just very simple. She was in her pantulog already." The director claimed that, like Toni, he also got too emotional when he popped the question. But before he knelt down before the singer-actress, Paul made sure that he got the green light of Toni's parents, Bonoy and Pinty Gonzaga. "Before I went up, she wasn't there. I talked to Tito Bonoy and Tita Pinty just outside the door and said to them, 'Do you mind po if I propose to Toni?' And the mom was like 'Oh it's about time' so that was nice and the dad was like, 'Why are you asking me, ask her.' So totoo naman, so that meant there was the blessing so I have to give honor to her parents first as she's done all her life. For her dad to tell me to ask her, that felt great," he revealed. While he didn't articulate the exact words that he used, Paul shared what he told them, amid the scenes done by Toni's sister Alex, who at that night, walked out several times while he was proposing. "I just told her family basically that I know they're only four, Catherine and her parents. And I said you know, I'm not here to take her away from you guys, I'm actually here to join you guys if that's possible," Paul recalled. The couple are set to tie the knot this year with Kris as one of their principal sponsors. Toni, for her part, shared that she's been nothing but grateful and happy that her boyfriend waited

for her all those years. "Nung nagsasalita siya nung when he was going to propose sa 'kin iyak ako ng iyak kasi nagflashback lahat sa 'kin from day 1. Kasi nag-flashback lang sa 'kin lahat. I remember there are times na he would ask me 'For the past seven years Tin, I was never a priority in your life. It's always been God, your family, your work and me. I'm always the third. I have accepted that for seven years,'" Toni shared what Paul used to tell her. In this line, Toni confessed, somehow made her pray harder to the Lord saying in between tears that, "Kaya sabi ko I always pray to God, sabi ko 'Lord kung darating 'yung time na mapagod na si Paul kasi hindi na niya kayang maghintay, sabi ko kayo na ang bahala.' Pero he really stayed and he proved to me that true love waits and he really waited for me." She added, "Kaya sabi ko if I become his wife hindi na siya number three priority. I will make sure that he will be my only priority and everything else is secondary nalang." While thanking Paul, Toni stressed that she already knew that Paul would be a good father to their future children. "So I'd like to thank him for enduring everything. For the patience for understanding and thank you very much for honoring my parents. Nung ginawa mo 'yun for seven years she ended.

uring the story conference for her still untitled movie with Coco Martin under Star Cinema held last February 4, a newly-engaged Toni Gonzaga admitted that after their big announcement on The Buzz last Sunday, February 1, there is still no definite date as to when she will walk down the aisle with her long-time boyfriend director Paul Soriano. The 31-year-old-actress said their families have not yet had time to sit down and discuss wedding details even though she will prioritize her newest project first. “Basta mag-sho-showing muna ang movie. Sa ngayon yun lang ang kino-concentrate ko. Basta pagkalabas ng pelikula, tsaka ako magpapakasal. Sa ngayon wala pa kaming detalye. Wala pa talaga akong ma-she-share na detalye. Kasi after nung Sunday wala pa kasing formal na sit-down but of course pag-uusapan pa yan pero sa ngayon wala pa talaga,” she explained. Toni said she has never had any idea of a dream wedding even after a seven-year relationship with Paul. “Actually hindi ako yung ganun eh, hindi ako yung bata pa lang nagangarap na ikasal, na one day may dream ako, ganyan. Si Alex yung ganun, meron na siyang naisipan kung ano itsura ng buong kasal niya. 3. SECRET VISIT TO THE ORPHANAGE He was known for his humble and simple ways, but nothing speaks more of his humility and shunning of the limelight than his secret visit to an orphanage in Intramuros where he mingled, kissed, hugged, and blessed the kids.

WELCOME HUG WITH THE KIDS Apart from his megawatt smile and signature wave, this moment set how warm and endearing he was as a Church leader when he hugged the two orphaned kids tightly and with much gusto. 4. HOMILY FOR HIS FIRST MASS IN MANILA CATHEDRAL Held at the historic Manila Cathedral, the Holy See preached about showing love to the poor and lauded the 80 million Filipinos’ lasting piety and devotion to Mother Mary and the Church.

2. FIRST RIDE IN THE POPE MOBILE TO THE NUNCIATURE There’s nothing like the public’s first sight of the Pope when he left Villamor Airbase and passed through Pasay to get to the nunciature. The crowd patiently waited and cheered with much fervor from the sidewalks even if they only got a glimpse of him for a few seconds.

5. METTING WITH THE FAMILIES For once, the SM Mall of Asia Arena was packed with people not for a performance, but for the Pope who met with various families. In his mass before some 16,000 people, the Catholic leader preached not to forget the fire of young love and dreaming as well as the importance of families.

6. SECRET MEETING WITH JESUITS Since he started his service, reports have it that he has been sneaking out of Vatican at night to give money to the poor and do other charitable deeds. In the country though, the Pope once again shocked the public as he met with his brothers in the Jesuit order secretly sans the knowledge of the press by having them at the nunciature.

7. MEETING WITH YOUTH AND OTHER RELIGIOUS LEADERS The Pope really values the youth which he showed when he visited the pontifical University of Santo Tomas on Sunday morning. Apart from reminding the roaring crowd about the importance of weeping in order to see the world differently, the Pope likewise had a short dialogue with different religious leaders as a response to the call of the Second Vatican Council for the Church.

8. HUGGING ORPHAN GLYZELLE PALOMAR Another highlight of the Pope’s trip was his encounter with young orphan Glyzelle, who broke down halfway through her testimonial in front of the Pope and the thousands of mass goers at the University of Santo Tomas. Before she was reduced to tears, Glyzelle posed a very bold question to the pontiff: “Why is God allowing such things to happen, even if it is not the fault of the children? And why are there only very few people helping us?” Her question and emotional reaction led to Pope to deviate from his prepared speech and speak extemporaneously and pointed out, “If you don’t learn how to cry, you can’t be good Christians.”

9. PERSONALLY CONSOLING THE FATHER OF TACLOBAN MASS CASUALTY Kristel Padasas, a papal visit volunteer in Tacloban, died tragically after some scaffolding fell on her just after the Pope’s mass on Saturday. Upon learning about the incident, the Pope offered a moment of silence for Kristel during his mass in UST. But Pope didn’t stop there, he made an effort to personally speak with Kristel’s father Paulino Padasas. The meeting was held in the Apostolic Nunciature in Manila, where Pope Francis stayed during his five-day visit. “Sabi niya, kinilabutan talaga ako, sabi niya, ‘Ipagdadasal ko si Kristel. Nasa heaven na siya with God, namatay siya na tumutulong,’” Paulino, who has accepted that his daughter has died meaningfully, said in reports. He added that the Pope gave him three rosaries and two medallions with the image of Sto. Niño. TACLOBAN MASS What could very well be touted as the most meaningful part of his trip is the mass held in Tacloban which was attended by a good number of survivors of Typhoon Yolanda in 2013 which reduced thousands into tears. The Pope’s strong homily, in a way, has seemingly led the tearful Taclobanon to get the “closure” that they have been meaning to receive since the tragedy struck their province. The following are excerpts from the Pope’s homily in Tacloban: “I’d like to tell you something close to my heart. When I saw from Rome the catastrophe, I felt that I had to be here and on those very days I decided to come here. I am here to be with you. A little bit late, I have to say, but I am here. I come to tell you that Jesus is Lord and He never lets us down.” “So many of you have lost everything. I don’t know what to say to you. But the Lord does know what to say to you. Some of you have lost part of your families. All I can do is keep silent. And I walk with you all with my silent heart. Many of you have asked the Lord, why Lord?” “And to each of you, to your heart, Christ responds from His heart upon the cross.” “I have no more words to tell you, let us look to Christ, He is the Lord. He understands us because He underwent all the trials that we, that you, have experienced. And beside the cross was His mother. We are like this little child, just there.”

VICE GANDA ADMITS SOMEONE IS INSPIRING JAMES YAP TALKS ABOUT FUTURE PLANS WITH SON HIM AT THE MOMENT BIMBY AND GIRLFRIEND MICHELA CAZZOLA Vice Ganda admitted that someone is inspiring him at the moment, but he wants to keep the identity of the person private. “Inspired ako. Masayang masaya po ako ngayon. May taong nagi-inspire sa akin pero hindi ko na ipapaalam sa inyo kung sino. Ire-reserve ko na sa sarili ko basta lalaki siya,” he said. He stressed that he is not in a relationship with the guy though. “Lahat naman tayo ‘di ba, lahat tayo dapat laging inspired, hindi dapat kinakailangan jowa mo ‘yung tao, na kailangan may relasyon sa ’yo ‘di ba? Pwedeng ‘yung tao gustong-gusto mo, nai-inspire ka niya every day, hindi kailangan meron kayo talagang relasyon.” On his Valentine’s Day plans he said, “This year hindi pa namin alam.” Vice shared that when it comes to the people he loves, he gives it his one hundred percent. “Oo super effort [ako], ang dami ko na ngang nabigay don,” he commented. Does he require the other person to give the same amount of love to him? “Hindi ako ganon, hindi ko nire-require at hindi ko dine-demand na ‘yung amount ng pagmamahal ko at kung ano ‘yung ibinibigay ko sa kanya ay makuha ko pa pabalik, mali ‘yun. Kung ano lang ‘yung kaya mong ibigay, i-enjoy ko ‘yun kasi kung hindi mo man kayang ibigay ay hanapin ko sa ibang paraan.” Vice shared that they guy does not need to do anything grand since simple

things already makes him happy. “Mababaw [ako], sobrang babaw. Padalhan nga lang ako ng pares eh nagsisisigaw na ako, i-date nga na lang ako sa parking area ng Burger King masayang-masaya na ako,” he said.

Now that his close friend Toni Gonzaga is about to get married, Vice stated that he is truly happy for her. Well hintayin ko na lang siya na magsabi na, ‘Papa gusto ko matulog sa iyo,’ kasi sa ngayon hindi pa yata siya papayagan kasi bata pa so tignan na lang natin paglaki.” At kung sakaling mabigyan ng pagkakataon na makasama niya ng matagal ang anak, nais niyang dalhin sa Negros ang anak, kung saan siya lumaki. “Bago mag-abroad sa Escalante muna, sa province ko muna dahil para makita niya, makilala niya mga pinsan niya dun, mga lolo at lola niya dun, tito at tita niya, makilala at makita niya kung saan siya galing.” Nang tanungin siya kung nasubukan na ba niyang ipaalam ang anak kay Kris, “Hindi ko na tinatanong kasi alam ko naman eh, alam ko na yung sagot so hindi ko na pipilitin basta ang mahalaga e nakikita ko anak ko, next time na lang yun o saka na lang yun.” Nagpapasalamat pa rin siya na maayos na ang lahat sa pagitan nila ni Kris at nakakasama niya ang anak. “Thank God yung yung pinagpe-pray ko na maayos ang lahat so yun yung pinakaimportante dun na okay tayo na wala

Sa tingin ko type naman nila yung isa’t isa. Yun nga sabi din ni Kris na once na magbasketaball ka, sabi din ni Kris na kailangan higitan mo Tatay mo ‘di ba? So yung pressure nandun pero for me okay lang din kung aong gusto niya.”

In an interview with showbiz talk show Startalk of GMA-7, Jam Sebastian’s mother revealed that the latter has wished to end his life through “mercy killing.” “Lagi niyang sinasabi ‘Ma pagod na pagod na ako.’ Gusto na raw niya manahimik, gusto na raw niya magpahinga,” Maricar revealed. It was March of last year when Jam discovered that he has cancer. Maricar constantly encourages her son not to give up. “As a mother hindi mo naman pwedeng ibigay sa kanya na alam ko pagod na siya, kaya lang sabi ko na ‘Huwag tayong susuko, laban lang tayo.’ Sabi ko ‘Ang Diyos hindi napapagod sa pagbibigay sa’yo ng buhay kaya huwag kang mapapagod,” Maricar shared. Jam is currently not undergoing chemotherapy for he has to gather strength first before braving another session of chemotherapy treatment. “Supposed to be two weeks ago pa ‘yung chemo niya pero sabi niya gusto muna niya magpalakas daw muna bago siya magpatuloy,” Maricar relayed. Maricar said that she is praying for a miracle and for her son to be healed. “Patuloy pa rin po tayong magdasal na sana maging okay pa rin po ‘yung lahat, na sana magkaroon pa rin ng milagro ang Diyos na mabuhay pa rin siya, na mawala ‘yung pain.

“Anak alam kong pagod ka na. Anak kasi kahit nahihirapan ka, mas nahihirapan ako pero hindi ako tumutigil sa pagdarasal na sana gumaling ka, na sana magkaroon ng miracle, ng milagro. ‘Yun ang lagi kong dinarasal, na sana magkaroon ng miracle. lden Richards admitted he feels blessed to have a busy career which includes numerous endorsements like his newest one for Boardwalk clothing company. “It’s another feather to my wings (sic) and what a way to start 2015 than with a new family. Siguro dahil year of the sheep ngayon and I was born in the year of the sheep so baka it’s part pero still ang big part pa rin nun is hard work, humility, and faith kay Jesus Christ so that’s what makes me as a person now in 2015. Dun lang ang focus ko and my family,” he shared. The 23-year-old actor from Laguna said that having a girlfriend is not his top priority right now. “Sana meron na. Wala pa rin po. Siguro hindi pa ako binibigyan ng tamang tao ni Lord. I pray din sometimes pero siguro sabi Niya, ‘Iba muna yung priority mo.’ Kasi yung pag-aartista very uncertain so everyday ‘pag gumigising ako kapag nagtratrabaho ako I always treat it as my last project, last work kasi aka pag gising ko may iba na eh. And parang yung showbiz industry is a mutation. Every time may sumusulpot na mas magaling sa iyo, mas may itsura sa iyo, mas in demand sa iyo. So kailangan you have to reinvent yourself over and over again,” he explained. Alden said that he recently made a big investment for his future which is partly why his love life will have to take a backseat. “Wala pa po (girlfriend) kasi bumili ako ng bahay, uunahin ko muna yun kasi we’re renting ngayon. Sinabi ko naman sa mga previous interviews ko na hopefully love life is 2015 kung may dumating why not? Hanapin na lang ako ng love life (laughs). Since I bought a new house for my family andun yung focus ko ngayon para at least sa second quarter of the year makalipat na kami. Pag na-settle ko na siguro, pag relaxed na sila puwede na ako mag-set ng other priorities na sini-set aside ko before,” he added. With the recent Papal visit, Alden admits he was one of the many Filipinos who wanted to see Pope Francis up close. “Siguro yung Philippines is a Catholic na bansa kaya talagang since our Pope is Christian din talagang malaki yung involvement ng mga Pinoy sa pagdating niya. At kaya siguro minahal nila si Pope siyempre as a Catholic on my part, kung sino talaga yung hinirang na Santo Papa it is a must na ma-endear tayo sa kanya and we pray to him na sana ipag-pray niya tayo and everyone else around the world. I hope he prays for my family and the Filipino families all over the Philippines. Alden said he also feels lucky to be the last leading man onscreen of Marian Rivera before she officially became Mrs. Dingdong Dantes when they did a TV series last year. “Proud and masaya ako. Naka-attend din ako nung kasal nila. Nakakatuwa kasi bago man lang ma-tie yung knot between Marian and kuya Dong at least naka-partner ko siya once in a lifetime kasi kailan ba mauulit yun? Sana po maulit and especially si Yan yun eh so I won’t say no. I mean now siyempre baka mas mag-focus na si Yan sa building a family and sa buhay mag-asawa and than sa soap. With his colleague Aljur Abrenica filing a case against their home network last year, many were speculating that Alden was one of the reasons connected to the issue, a fact he wants to clarify. “Yun nga po sabi nila hindi ko nga maintindihan kung bakit ina-affiliate yung case na sinampa ni Aljur against GMA sa akin and to think wala (naagaw na project). Pero ang alam ko kasi talaga beforehand, pag merong malaking project na ginagawa ang GMA, of course sa Artist Center group po, sa management namin, si Aljur is always the priority and then kung hindi man available si Aljur or yung roles hindi para sa kanya, saka naghahanap ang Artist Center ng other fit for the role,” he admitted. TROY MONTERO ADMITS HE WANTS MORE BABIES WITH AUBREY MILES Last seen in a guest role in the Kapamilya series Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw in 2013, Troy Montero admits he is happy to focus on his other passions now as well as doing some acting every once in a while. During the Nivea Men Diskarte Challenge event held last February 6 at the Trinoma ACTIVITY Center, Troy talks about his six-yearold production company. “With acting I’m okay with maybe a little bit here and there but I’m still really having fun running the company and doing everything behind the scenes. Right now I’m still guesting and joining fun events like this. But as of now my production company “We Love Post” is in pre-prod for the next two weeks so it’s going to be our first end-to-end movie. DIRECTED and produced all in one so we’re very excited to be starting and probably shooting in the next couple of weeks. Basically we do post-production for mostly all TV commercials but then a few years ago we started doing post-production for Asiong Salonga: Manila Kingpin and El Presidente so we’re very lucky. Now we’re doing our own (movie),” he shares. After shuttling back and forth from the states, Troy says he is making Manila his home base for now. “My office is near Makati so we did our full production just recently. It’s a French movie so the entire cast was French. They shot everything in Manila and it’s an action-thriller. That’s in post-production now and it should be done this month,” he says. The 37-year-old former model also admits that his son Hunter is also studying in a local school. “Yes he’s enrolled here. Our bonding moments is easy, it’s anything where

we can be together, kahit traveling, in the mall, playing sports. We do travel a lot. My kids love to travel and we’re very lucky to be able to take them around,” he adds. With a 12-year relationship with Aubrey Miles, Troy says the secret to their partnership is simple. “It’s great communication, we’re always laughing and having fun. Of course we love working out and watching what we eat and less stress, we’re just trying to have a good time. The two have also just been announced to star in a new series On the Wings of Love under Dreamscape Entertainment in ABSCBN later this year. “The story is unique. It’s really great and really fun. It’s very light and I guess we’ll do our best. That’s all we can do. It’s very light and fun,” he says. Along with their rising popularity comes with it intrigues that continue to plague their onscreen partnership. James has recently been rumored to be seen with different non-showbiz girls which he vehemently denies.

“First of all they are just rumors and we try not to let it get to us. Sometimes it does but I guess we just do our best. Well first of all I’m not going out with anyone. I’m not dating anyone. It’s not true. I’m not dating anyone. I’m not seeing anyone or anything like that. Nadine is my closest friend that’s a girl,” he admits during the On the Wings of Love presscon held today, February 13. Last week, the Fil-Australian hunk stirred further controversy when he posted a message on his social media account that says, “People who read tabloids deserve to be lied to.” This angered the local tabloid press which has led him to feel guilty even after he deleted the message online.

The 21-year-old actor says he feels lucky that Nadine is there for him even though their relationship is just platonic for now. “Well we’re together every day and she helps me a lot especially in Tagalog. When asked what the real deal is between them off-cam, James says he considers Nadine his closest female friend. “Friends lang kami. We’re just friends, partners. JAMES REID AND NADINE LUSTRE STAR IN NEW ABS-CBN SERIES ‘ON THE WINGS OF LOVE’ After their stint in Wansapanataym and Maalaala Mo Kaya Valentine’s Day episode, James Reid and Nadine Lustre admit they felt overwhelmed after being offered a major project with the Kapamilya network. The two are set to star in the soap On the Wings of Love under Dreamscape Entertainment later this year. “Of course I’m thankful to be part of Dreamscape and I’m glad we get to do this together. We’ve gone through this whole journey together and I’m really glad. It’s hard to digest and to actually realize that we have a full teleserye to ourselves. It’s ours so we feel a lot of pressure but we’re so excited. I think we only found out about this one month ago. But we’re excited to have a full-length teleserye kasi we did Wansapanataym with Dreamscape before. I’m really excited but I don’t know what to expect yet. It’s going to be a learning experience,” James shared during the On the Wings of Love presscon held last February 13 inside ABS-CBN. In the series, James gets to play a role of a balikbayan from the states. “I play the character of Clark Jones, named after Clark Airbase and he is part of the love triangle between Arjo Atayde and Nadine Lustre. I’m not sure how much we can reveal yet,” he admitted. His leading lady Nadine said she can’t wait for her most major role to date. “Ang character ko dito si Lea. Very simple siya. She’s a dreamer tapos hopeless romantic siya. Parang she believes in the fairytale kind of love. Daddy ko dito si sir Joel Torre and kapatid ko si Miss Bianca Manalo,” she said. The 21-year-old actress says she will try her best for the sake of their stellar SUPPORTING cast which also includes comedian Nanette Inventor. “Kami lang ni James yung ngayon pa lang mag-so-soap. Everyone else in the cast has been doing soaps na so we’re really really excited. I’m pressured lang for myself to always be consistent in doing my best talaga and para maging consistent na 100% lagi yung effort,” she added. As with any celebrity, JaDine knows that it cannot be helped that they be compared with other popular pairs especially with Kathniel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla) who also has their own upcoming soap remake of Pangako Sa ‘Yo. “For me siguro mas napressure ako dito kasi teleserye. We’re used to shooting movies where it’s more laid back. But it’s a full-length teleserye and it’s my first time so I really want to give my best that’s all. So I’m pretty nervous (laughs) But the fans make it easier for us. Because they give us so much SUPPORT and they’re just as excited for us, even more excited than we are. Being compared with others, it’s been like that for us from the start,” James explained.

Nadine said it is not an issue for them now. “Medyo nag-die down na din yung pag-kocompare but then we’re just really happy na may project kami and that we’re doing well pa rin. Medyo nag-die down na kasi yung issue.” The two admitted that for Valentine’s day this year, they will be together for both professional and personal reasons. “We actually have our own plans. She has plans for us and I also have plans. My album kick-off is coming out tomorrow also. So we’ll be promoting my album also,” he said. SARAH GERONIMO SAYS MOVIE WITH PIOLO PASCUAL IS A GO Contrary to what was previously reported, Sarah Geronimo’s film with premiere leading man Piolo Pascual is pushing through. This was confirmed by Sarah herself during her launch as the new face of make up brand San San Cosmetics on Thursday. “Tuloy ‘yung Piolo po,” Geronimo said. It may be recalled that it was Pascual himself who announced early last month that the movie might not push through. Previous reports noted that the PascualGeronimo starrer is supposed to be released on Valentine’s Day. “I really want to work with her but I think it’s not the right project or something like that. In the present batch of Bulilits, Direk Bobot talked about the kids that have a lot of potential to make it big someday. “Si Bugoy (Carino), si Casey (Bacayo), tingin ko yan, si Casey, tapos si Belinda (Mariano), may pupuntahan sila. Actually si Mutya (Orquia). Yung mga bata, may pupuntahan lahat sila eh basta tiyaga lang saka wag silang magbabago.” Meanwhile, the comedy director talked about the issue they had with the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB). He admitted that they reached the point where a psychologist had to check on their scripts. “Minsan napapagalitan kami kasi iba ibang ideas kasi eh. Iba iba talaga. Minsan yung pwede sa ’yo, hindi pwede sa kanila saka medyo nagkasundo na kami ng MTRCB ngayon… Umabot pa kami na kumuha kami ng psychologist dito sa show… pinaaapprove namin sa psychologist yung mga scripts namin para, eto ba makakaapekto sa bata, yung ganon. Hindi ba eh kung ang habol mo lang magpapatawa ka lang, siyempre hindi mo naiisip yun, hindi mo naiisip na, aba offending pala tong joke na ‘to.” Direk Bobot admitted that while they want to showcase socially relevant material, they have to tone it down. “Oo naman kasi mas maganda yung nangyayari para nakakarelate kaagad yung mga tao pero hindi namin masyadong magawa yung pang-adult dahil naaapektuhan na yun… hindi pwede sa bata, baka daw hindi naiintindihan ng bata. Ngayon may guidelines na kami na sinusunod so parang nagmellow ng konti tong Bulilit hindi gaya nung una. Ngayon parang naging training ground talaga ng mga bata.” Though he admitted that it is harder to direct kids, he is hopeful that the show will last long considering that many children want to have a career in acting. He said that even the kids’ personalities are being honed here, not just their skills. He happily recounted that every time they shoot on locations where parents are not around, the kids look after each other. Considering that the kids have grown emotional attachments to one another, how does Direk Bobot handle those that are about to graduate when they reach 12 to 13 years old? “Sinasabi naman namin sa kanila na may pupuntahan naman sila pero ang totoo, ano eh, dumarating din na sila mismo nahihiya na sila, awkward. Yung bang nahihiya, siyempre, enjoy enjoy pa rin sila pero pag nakikita na nila na ang laki na nila, sila na rin naiilang na rin sila eh.” As much as possible, he said they want to feature kids who look like kids. “Yung mga umaabot ng 13 sa’min siguro yung medyo maliit pa, hindi pa halatang dalaga.” He shared that there were also instances where they had to let go of a kid to give way for a major project within the network like what Zaijian Jaranilla did for May Bukas Pa. Direk Bobot shared that he still wants to do a lot with the gag show, maximizing the talents of the children and supporting what they want to do. Lastly, Direk Bobot said that he is proud of Goin’ Bulilit, “Yung tagal saka yung samahan, yung ang importante… Sana parati niyong tatangkilikin ang Goin’ Bulilit, hindi lang pambata to, pang-adults din.”

Solenn Heussaff any were taken by surprise when Solenn Heussaff’s friends Isabelle Daza and the latter’s boyfriend Adrien Semblat revealed that her actress-model’s Argentinian boyfriend Nicco Bolzzico had proposed to her. Even Solenn herself, in a recent interview with PEP, shared that she also didn’t expect her boyfriend’s proposal. “Akala ko next year or two years pa," she began. The “very casual” proposal, Solenn said, happened at her parents’ home, where she used to spend her time when Nicco is not in the metro. "We're very simple. Hindi ako ma-flash mob. Solenn admitted that she prefers to have a “quiet” wedding. "You will know 'pag out na ang pictures. Gusto ko private. Destination wedding, and I will make it sure it is very far,” the 29-year-old actress said, adding that she wants it to happen in a church outside of the country. Have they started planning for the wedding? "Not yet. Parang super lazy ako. Naging comfortable na ko sa buhay namin so no plans yet," she said. Have they set a date for their big day? “Not soon. Buti na nga lang at nadala kaagad siya ni Tito Noli (driver ni Kuya Germs) sa ospital,” kuwento ni Jake sa Push.Com.
