At may mga anak kami dito si Jessy Mendiola, si Sam Concepcion at si Paul Salas. Maganda namang family drama,” she shared. The soap is set to air in the primetime slot. So at least may flavors naman ang audience natin,” she said. PAULEEN LUNA REVEALS NEW WEDDING DATE WITH VIC SOTTO While she didn’t share the exact date, contrary to past reports, Pauleen Luna revealed that she and fiance Vic Sotto are getting married January of next year. It may be recalled that it was Pauleen’s manager Lolit Solis who revealed that the couple are set to tie the knot in their private home in Laguna this coming December. In an interview with PEP, Pauleen revealed that they are now getting busier with the preparations for their big day. “Well, every week nagmi-meet na kami with the [wedding] coordinator. Lahat ng kinatatakutan ko mao-overcome ko. I think it started when naging partner ko si Anne, alam mo naman yun sobrang fearless. I started to see the beauty in the scarier things and I remember the exact moment na nawala yung takot ko kasi ang ganda ganda tignan nung ginagawa naming aerial hoop nung magpartner kami ni Anne, that was the first time na nanalo ako. And yung kanina parang ayaw ko talaga ng fire pero ‘di ba naisip ko nalang we made sure that everything was safe nung tinesting nila na hindi flammable yung mga pintura panatag na yung loob ko. Sabi nga ni Billy siya yung natakot kasi ang lapit ko sa kanya so natutuwa ako kasi parang hindi na ako natakot talaga. For my ten years in Child Haus I was able to do a tick in my bucket list such as that. I’d never really done a talk and the Pangilinans helped me, Mr. Anthony Pangilinan nag-workshop ako sa kanya, so that was one major thing for me but a lot of other things, a lot of things are happening.” Vice Ganda Nakaka-Good Vibes -“The biggest highlight of year is yet to come on December may film fest movie with Coco (Martin) and JaDine (James Reid and Nadine Lustre).”
According to Coleen, it was really fun bringing the show to Binan and be closer to the madlanag people in the said town. “I’ve been here to Binan a couple of times for mall shows and the crowd has always been warm. The people here in Binan are very welcoming and it’s good to see that the same goes for today and it’s really exciting, this whole thing that we’re doing. Travelling to different places, meeting the madlang people face to face, it’s really exciting,” she said. Teddy stated that the energy is really unbelievable in Binan. “Ibang energy din ng mga taga Binan eh, nagulat kami. Honestly kasi ‘yung nag Araneta kami tayo ng balahbo namin sa dami ng tao so iba rin ‘yung mas intimate ‘yung energy, ‘yung madlang people ngayon mas malapit so mas malakas.” Anne extended her gratitude to those who have watched the show live. “Sobra kaming nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng mga taga Binan, Laguna na pumunta at

IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT MOVIE OF THIS CENTURY n his second movie project this year, Dennis Trillo brings to life the role of Felix Manalo, the First Executive Minister of Iglesia ni Cristo in monumental film that traces the origin of the INC church. Dennis said he considers himself lucky to be recommended for the role by the film’s director Joel Lamangan. “Katoliko ako eh, kaya nagulat ako nung sabi nila ako yung gaganap. Sabi ko, ‘Bakit kaya hindi kapatid yung pinili nila?’ In-explain naman nila na siyempre gusto naman nila magampanan ng maayos, hindi na nila inisip yung mga relihiyon ng mga artista. Mabuti na lang daw habang nagsusyuting sila ay may mga kasama silang ministro na nagga-guide sa kanya. Umabot ng 59 days ang kanyang shooting ng Felix Manalo. Siya na rin ang gumanap na matandang Ka Felix na dapat ay kay Albert Martinez. Ang maganda naman daw, binigyan siya ng panibagong kontrata dito. “May separate contract naman po kaya okey lang,” sabi pa niya. “Medyo mahirap lang yung matandang Ka Felix kasi matagal ikabit yung fat suit at matagal ding tanggalin and mainit. Pero lahat naman ‘yun kayang tiisin dahil alam ko naman na maganda ‘yung proyektong ginagawa ko,” deklara pa niya.

Ipinagmalaki naman ni Direk Joel na hindi siya nahirapan sa cast ng Felix Manalo. Very cooperative daw ang lahat kahit pa umabot sa 120 ang artista sa pelikula. “Magaan sila lahat katrabaho. Wala naging pasaway. Smooth lahat,” sey pa niya. Marami rin daw siyang na-experience for the first time kahit matagal na siyang nagdidirek ng pelikula while doing Felix Manalo tulad halimbawa ng pagrerecreate ng mga lumang kapilya ng Iglesia Ni Cristo. “Nag-build ako ng set. I recreated Tipas in 1886. Yung iba siyempe, CGI na lalo na yung mga barko. Lahat talaga dito itinayo lalo na yung mga kapilya nu’ng araw, yung kauna-unahan nilang kapilya, eh,

ith her return to the Kapamilya network, Bela Padilla said a lot has changed about her and her career. “First and foremost I think I’m more sure of myself now kasi mahirap yung transition period ko kasi I was parang hanging last year? Like I didn’t know if I was going to stay with GMA or finally take that leap of faith and move to ABSCBN. At least now I know that I can make decisions for myself, my managers back me up, people trust me with big projects so nabigyan ako ng I guess security na kaya ko ito. I don’t want to think of it as second wind kasi that would parang sound like I was lost for a while, but actually I was just waiting because I knew that I was going to move to ABS-CBN so this was all part of my wish, like I really wanted to move back. I talked to my bosses in GMA
when I left, I told them this is my plan and I feel like I’m going to grow more there and I asked them respectfully if I could move. I’m not the kind of person who would just leave. I’m very loyal so for move means a lot. Parang it took a lot of time for me to think of my move. It’s just that right now I need to work with people who I feel like will also be loyal to me or I guess who will return the level of loyalty that I gave,” she explained during the Felix Manalo movie grand presscon held last August 21. In the film, Bela plays the wife of Iglesia Ni Cristo founder Felix Manalo (played by Dennis Trillo). “Sana panuorin niyo ang Felix Manalo and abangan niyo ako bilang si Ka Honorata. First time ko na gaganap ng ganitong character na totoong tao. First time ko mag-portray ng character na ibang iba sa itsura ko and first time kong patatandain sa isang movie so maraming aabangan in terms of yung buong movie plus madami kayong iba’t ibang gagawin ng mga artist katulad namin ni Dennis,” she said. When she got offered the role, Bela admitted she immediately jumped at the opportunity. “This is an actor’s dream. Even before they told me na papatandain nila ako, just to be part of such a historical and huge project is an actor’s dream. I only had a few days to prepare. If they told me on a Monday, I started shooting on Thursday so I had like three days. Naghanap ako ng pictures niya. I googled her photos. I wanted to see first what she looked like. Kasi pag feeling ko mas dikit na sa akin yung itsura, mas madali na sa akin i-arte yung character. Lahat tinanong ko kung ano bang dapat na atake, anong dapat gawin. Nauna si Dennis nag-shoot sa akin and nagtanong din ako sa kanya,” she added. Apart from Felix Manalo, Bela is also set to star with Coco Martin in the teleserye Ang Probinsyano. When asked

But I can’t tell you yet who else is part of it. I just found out the other day. I’m excited na sunod sunod and I’m excited na iba iba yung nagagawa ko,” she said.

Minsan, once in a while I still have a hard time, on and off pa rin siya, kasi yung acid reflux wala naman kasi talagang gamot, eh... you just manage it. “So that’s what I’m doing now. 43,624 ang bilang ng mga taong nanood ng premiere night and after the verification of Guinness World Records officials and adjucators na sina Marco Frigatti at Victoria Tweedy, ini-announce nga na nakuha ng Felix Manalo ang dalawang Guiness World Records. Masayang-masaya naman ang bida ng Felix Manalo na si Dennis Trillo dahil sa nangyari at sa pagko-congratulate sa kanyang pelikula. Si Dennis ang gumanap sa katauhan ni Ka Felix sa pelikula. “Napakaraming magagandang nangyayari na hindi normal na nangyayari, so feeling ko, nasa panaginip ako. The said soap will be headlined by Piolo Pascual, Toni Gonzaga, Jolina Magdangal, and Sam. Set to be directed by returning Kapamilya director Andoy Ranay, the soap will also be the reunion project of Toni and Sam after eight years. Meanwhile, Piolo, in a separate interview, expressed excitement over the fact that he will be working with Sarah for the first time. “I’m so excited to work with her because ang sarap niyang panooring magsayaw. Ang bait niya at saka magaan,” he said, adding that he is friends with the Gutierrez siblings Ruffa, Raymond, and Richard (Sarah’s long-time boyfriend). “Nakasama ko siya before sa Malaysia, so okay naman. We are friends with Richard, Raymond and Ruffa. I’m excited to work with her,” he added. As to the persistent question, Sarah remained noncommittal if she’s now officially a Kapamilya or if negotiations about it happening are underway. “Hopefully, hopefully yeah maging confirmed na very soon. Former sexy actress Francine Prieto has joined the list of stars who are now engaged. Francine confirmed that her American boyfriend Frank Shotkoski popped the question on Tuesday night via a recent interview with ABS-CBN News.
“Dapat daw nung birthday ko kaso nag-Bible study ako. Tapos halos wala kaming chance na kami lang, palagi may kasama. Kagabi lang,” she said in the report. Francine has turned 33 last September 17.
The couple have yet to set a wedding date. According to Francine, her fiance is set to leave the country by Thursday and will be returning in November. Asked why she finally decided to settle down, “I guess when you meet the right person at ‘yung lahat ng values na gusto mo nasa kanya at kung paano ang treatment niya sa ‘yo. “And most importantly, kung paano niya i-embrace lahat ng tao at ginagawa mo, at todo suporta sa ‘yo through thick or thin,” she added. Although she will soon be a wife, Francine stressed that quitting the show business is not part of her options. “Hindi ako magre-retire dahil first love ko ang acting. Palaging open ang doors ko sa TV and movie projects,” she said. Francine and her fiance, who is a scientist and molecular biologist have been a couple for over eight months. They met through a common friend December of last year.

part form juggling her duties as a TV host, mom, wife and daughter, Danica Sotto-Pingris admitted she was happy to get the chance to show off her creative side when she was asked to decorate a living room as one of the chosen designers for Shangri-la mall’s “Inspired Homes: Dream Living Spaces Exhibit.” “I felt excited but parang not naman nervous but I was a bit challenged kasi I know there are a lot of nice stores here in Shangri-la. I’m very particular with what I choose for my furniture or for the details for the living room, but the thing is I am limited because I have kids. So everything has to be kid-proof or baby-proof. Since I have two kids. I have a seven-year-old boy and a four-year-old girl so this is the stage where they really run around the house and things might break so if you look at my house, it’s kind of like the one that we designed, but just less details and the figurine and breakable stuff,” she shared during the exhibit opening held at the East Wing of Shangri-la mall last October 8. When she entertains guests at home, Danica said she wants her visitors to feel welcome at all times. “I like my home to be homey, simple and very traditional with modern pieces. For example when I have visitors, I want them to see the space as very inviting and cozy. I don’t want them to feel as if they can’t move because everything’s too expensive or it’s just too clean. And I want it to really feel like a home and look like a home,” she told Push.com.ph. With her dad Vic Sotto becoming newly engaged to Pauleen Luna, the couple have been open about currently working on their dream home. Danica said she does not have any input on her dad’s soon-tobe matrimonial home. “No, I haven’t seen their house,” she admitted. The 32-year-old host said she is also not part of the couple’s wedding plans, if any have already been finalized. “No. I think it’s really Pauleen who’s fixing everything so she’s not naman getting us involved kasi parang it’s her wedding so parang feeling ko awkward naman din to get us involved. I mean I never got Oyo (her brother) to be involved. Well baka kasi he’s a boy pero parang usually di ba ayaw mo naman unless you have like a sister like Ciara (her cousin) got her sisters involved. Pero at the end of the day, she’ll be the one to choose to pa rin what makes her happy,” she added. At the end of it all, Danica said she respects her father’s decisions. She said her relationship with Pauleen has neither grown nor become distant with the announcement of the engagement. “Actually it hasn’t changed naman eh. I’ve always been respectful to her because of my dad, because it’s my duty as a daughter to respect my father but I was also very open that I was or still am concerned about their huge age gap. PHILIPPINE-BASED KOREAN YOUTUBE STARS ‘REACT’ TO LOCAL TEEN LOVE TEAMS

orean YouTube stars Minji Sung and Lydia Choi also known as Roaming Koreanas seemed to have had a great time “reacting” to four Kapamilya celebrity teen couples. During the 10-minute video, the two ladies were shown at least two pictures of each love team to comment on how they look, whether they look good together and to guess their respective ages.
The first couple shown to them was KathNiel composed of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. Both of them thought Daniel “looks so young” but “his eyes make him look older.” The two thought that Kathryn was pretty but they suggested that her hairstyle and make up in one of the photos make her look old. However, the two thought that they look good together. In fact, during the latter part of their video, they both revealed that KathNiel was their favorite among the four couples. “I think they shot a movie together also so they’re pretty much good and perfect together,” said MJ. The second teen couple they reacted on was LizQuen composed of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil. Lydia immediately recognized Enrique just a few moments after seeing his first photo as the guy that “sings the shake shake fries theme song.” The two ladies were left astounded upon seeing Liza’s photo that their only comment was “Wow!” “She’s really pretty. Is she his girlfriend?” Lydia asked. Minji added about the Forevermore actress, “Like a model. Her eyes, her smile. She’s really pretty.”
The third couple they saw were the Para Sa Hopeless Romantic stars JulNigo composed of Julia Barretto and Iñigo Pascual. Upon seeing his photo, Lydia was convinced that Iñigo looks like Jacob in Twilight Saga played by Taylor Lautner. Meanwhile they thought Julia’s face looks very natural Filipina. The last couple they saw are the On The Wings of Love stars James Reid and Nadine Lustre also known as JaDine. Minji, after seeing James’s topless photo, thought “He’s hot and he’s cute.” On the other hand, they also noticed the fact that Nadine and Kathryn look alike. Minji commented that Nadine somehow looks like an East Asian. According to their YouTube profile, the Roaming Koreanas started documenting their explorations in the Philippines last February out of “love” and their desire to “share the Filipino culture to others.”

JC DE VERA ADMITS HE IS DATING A NON-SHOWBIZ GIRL JC de Vera is set to be part of the new Kapamilya soap You’re My Home. In an interview at the promo shoot for the show, the actor could not hide his excitement about his new project. “I’m very proud, merong new project tapos merong may bagong pagkakaabalahan. I’m very excited about it.” JC will be playing the role of Christian. “’Yan ‘yung name ng character, I came from a political family. ‘Yung daddy ko senador siya dati tapos medyo brat tapos hindi ako marunong rumespeto sa authority. Gagawin ko ang gusto kong gawin tapos ayon naghahanap ako ng attention ng love from my parents,” he described his role. Assunta de Rossi is set to star in the upcoming Kapamilya teleserye You’re My Home. According to the actress, her role in the soap is far different from the previous characters she has portrayed before. “Very interesting ang role ko dito. I play the role of Jackie… I can’t reveal too much. Noong pinanood ko ‘yung trailer they told me, ‘Hindi ka muna namin isasama kasi secret ka pa.’ Mabait ako dito, hindi ako kontrabida,” she shared in an interview with Push.com.ph. The members of the cast include Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta and Assunta has nothing but good words for the remarkable love team. Though she rarely does a scene with them, she said that she truly admires their acting skills. “Hindi ko sila nakaka-work masyado kasi magkaiba kami [pero] later on magcro-cross’ yung paths namin. So I haven’t had the chance to work with them every single day but yeah magkakakilala naman kaming tatlo, si Goma (Richard) alam naman nating magaling na artista si Dawn don din, super beautiful grabe,” she said. fter providing the voice of Paddington in the Hollywood movie Paddington last year, Xian Lim revealed he is part of another international project as one of the celebrity endorsers of Asia’s largest video-on-demand service, HOOQ. The Kapamilya actor recently shot three commercials for the brand with Jessy Mendiola that had them recreating iconic scenes from three blockbuster movies. “I’m just really thankful sa lahat ng blessings na pumupunta sa akin and I’m really excited for all my supporters and everyone na mapanuod nila itong ginawa nmain na tatlong pelikula dahil dito nag-enjoy lahat. And I can’t wait for them to see it. Meron tayong Jerry Maguire, Zorro, and Pulp Fiction,” he shared during the HOOQ event held last October 8 at URBN Bar in BGC. Xian said he learned a lot from working with a foreign crew that included an Irish director and an Academy Award WINNING Director of Photography while shooting the commercials. “Yung scene namin sa Zorro ang galing eh, ang galing nung approach. It feels great kasi nung nandun kami we learn a lot from each other. They do things differently and just working with people from all over the world like Ireland and the States. Our director was from Ireland. Talagang it was a privilege doing this whole project,” he said. Being reunited with his Must Date the Playboy co-star made the shoot more enjoyable as well. “Yung mga eksena kasi na ginawa namin it was played on loop para makuha talaga namin yung mga eksena sa movies na yun and it was really fun. We were just enjoying the whole time. Wala ng hiyaan sa amin,” he said. Currently shooting for his upcoming teleserye in Palawan, Xian shared a recent accident on set that had him walking in pain that day. “So we had a scene for The Story of Us and paahon na ako sa shore and my last kick merong isang malaking sea urchin na naghihintay dun sa paa ko. And right after that I was rushed to the clinic tapos yun binigyan naman nila ako ng proper medication. Pero sobrang sakit (laughs),” he recalled. Xian said that he doesn’t mind their hectic shooting schedule because he knows the viewers will enjoy his new soap with Kim Chiu. “We just came back from Palawan from kanina and I guarantee mag-e-enjoy talaga yung mga manunuod not only because of the scenery, not only the feel but kumbaga ito yung inaabangan nila eh. POKWANG shares the story behind her pregnancy
O
n Kris TV, comedienne Pokwang together with her beau Lee O’Brien shared with host Kris Aquino and guest cohost K Brosas the story behind her pregnancy and unfortunate miscarriage.
Pokwang said that she first consulted K as she was still doubting if she’s really pregnant. The two then went to an OB/GYN and it was confirmed she’s really pregnant. That’s the only time when she told her boyfriend Lee the good news. “Nung nasigurado na talaga namin sa OB na ‘Yes, you’re pregnant’ tsaka ko na nasabi sa kanya (Lee). [It was a] Sunday, merong lunch sa bahay with some friends, pinakita ko sa kanya ‘yung ultrasound keme,” Pokwang said. When Lee met Pokwang he was a bachelor and this was supposed to be his first child. When asked about his reaction he said, “I was happy, you know it’s something that we’ve both wanted so I think it was something like kind of, in the process obviously there’s that initial ‘absolutely am I ready?’ this is different you know like ‘cause that’s a new phase in life it’s a whole new chapter and understanding responsibilities that come with it.”

I love you po. “To Lee, Take good care of her, she is all I’ve got. I’m happy for the both of you.”
After sharing the good news, Pokwang experienced difficulty with her pregnancy. “Korek, naloka ‘ko nun sabi ko bakit ganun. Nung una ‘di ba sabi ni Doc normal lang yang mga ganyan pahabol parang ganyan. Pero parang ‘di na’ko natutuwa tumi-three days na hindi na tama ito,” she shared. At that time, Kris and Pokwang prayed together on a Sunday and the Queen of All Media advised her that maybe it was time for her to take a break from work to be able to save the baby because its heartbeat was getting weak. During Pokwang’s pregnancy she was busy with the primetime series “Nathaniel” and the staff also told her to take a break and check with the doctor to know more about the baby’s condition.

s their way of saying "thank you" to the solid viewers of their show, longest running musical variety show ASAP 20 brought a different kind of entertainment, for the first time, at the Alonte Sports Arena in Binan, Laguna.
The live Sunday show was attended by some of the biggest Kapamilya stars like Piolo Pascual, Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Maja Salvador, Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo, Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, Shaina Magdayao, Rayver Cruz, Enchong Dee, among others. The show was also graced by several Kapamilya singers like Zsa Zsa Padilla, Martin Nievera, Erik Santos, Jed Madela, Vina Morales, Morrissette, Klarisse de Guzman, as well as Arnel Pineda, Jobit Baldivino, Rico Blanco, Tutti Caringal, Kean Cipriano, Daryl Ong, and Yeng Constantino. Love teams Jane Oineza, Jerome Ponce, Nash Aguas, Alexa Ilacad, Loisa Andalio, Joshua Garcia, Erich Gonzales and Daniel Matsunaga were also present. Hosts Alex Gonzaga, John Prats, and Robi Domingo were also in attendance. Among the highlights of the Sunday’s episode was the opening performance of the Teen King and The King of Gil to the tune of “Mr. Suave.” Their performance was followed by a “Boom Panes” dance number which had Kim, Shaina, Maja, Rayver, Enchong and Gerald in one stage.

Maria and Ian Veneracion as well as Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita stars Richard and Vina interestingly got a loud cheer from the audience. Meanwhile, ASAP once again launched new and exciting things during its Sunday episode. Among those who graced the event were Pangako Sa ‘Yo stars JK Labajo, Andrea Brillantes, Grae Fernandez, Vivieka Vivieka, Pamu Pamorada, Sarah Carlos, Jan Marini, Dominique Roque and Diego Loyzaga. Meanwhile, actors Jodi Sta. Maria and Ian Veneracion, who are playing the iconic roles of ex-lovers Amor Powers and Eduardo Buenavista, made the fans feel kilig while they sang, “Panaginip.” And, as requested by the crowd, Ian gave Jodi a peck on the cheek.

In an interview with PUSH.com.ph, Ian said that he feels shy but flattered that fans also follow his love team with Jodi. “Natatawa na nahihiya kasi I guess because of my age. hen plans to make Etiquette for Mistresses into a film were announced a couple of months ago, many immediately went up in arms and raised a ruckus online that we don't need another "kabit movie." Many presumed that Etiquette for Mistresses would do nothing but "glorify" and "give precedence" to muchscoffed about illicit affairs and paramours. But, after seeing the Chito Rono-helmed film based on the book written by Jullie Yap-Daza, Push.com.ph noticed that the film actually steered away from the initial stereotyping and generalizations that many made about it. If anything, it became a stark reminder that being a mistress is not something that you would want for yourself. 2. Consequently, being a mistress is never a dead end which no one could escape from.
4. Contrary to popular belief, even some mistresses don’t like being a mistress.
Like what Rule #10 implies “If all else fails, leave him.”
Sure they chose to be in their situations, but it doesn’t mean that being mistress is like their lifelong dream.
Since it is done with full knowledge, being a mistress can also be undone subject by the person’s own volition and willfulness. In short, it is never permanent. 1. Being a mistress never happens by accident, it is always by choice. 3. It is not true that being a mistress is filled with happiness and excitement. Although, it may seem like it, in truth, being a mistress is filled with anxiety and uncertainty, which is what the film showed the entire time.
Rule #8 pretty much sums it up: “Mistresses should be ready to give up Valentine’s Day, Christmas holidays, and his birthday.”
