In addition to preparing your pet’s health and travel documents, you must plan your port of entry when arriving by sea with a pet. Each island designates specific certain ports for entry when arriving by sea with a pet. The term “potcake” refers to the thick leftovers often fed to the strays by the islanders. It is important to be mindful of how your pet will interact with a feral dog if such occasion arises.
