When showing clients around, James uses his excellent people skills to put them at ease and, being Norfolk born and bred, also has a great knowledge of the area. “Knowing about the history of the villages, the distances into town, and if there is a good pub down the road, makes such a difference as it means I can share my knowledge and give clients a valuable insight into the local area.” James is also a personal fitness instructor and often cycles to and from his viewings. “It’s great to be able to incorporate fitness into my daily schedule. If I have appointments in the city I will always jump on the bike. It is so much easier; there’s no parking to worry about and I can beat the traffic.” James admits to having a soft spot for converted barns, but confesses that it his wife who keeps falling in love with the properties he views. “I think that in the six months I have been working for Fine & Country we could have easily moved at least half a dozen times!”
