Ghostbusters is one of my favourite movies of the 1980s. It is a funny supernatural adventure. Even the sequel was decent. I've always wanted to see a Ghostbusters 3 that would continue the story in a new direction. The forgetful reboot was disappointing but it seems that this third chapter will finally push through with many promising aspects--a great cast and an ingenious choice for a director, Jason Reitman, the son of the original Ghostbusters director, Ivan Reitman.
The ultimate upcoming movie for me has to be Godzilla vs Kong. For many years, I've always wanted to see these two iconic giant monsters have a rematch after their first battle in King Kong vs Godzilla (1962). As a fan of these two characters, I can finally celebrate the battle of the century. When Justice League was released in 2017, many fans (including myself) were disappointed because it was a mediocre, bland, run-of-the-mill superhero movie. On top of that, the film suffered terrible visual effects, bad color-grading and a lack of respect for the previous DC Extended Universe movies. Zack Snyder’s original version is darker, longer, and with more action set pieces and sequences. There is a lot more character development as well and, simply epic. The fact that all the cast members are back to reprise their roles intrigues me. After a huge fan petition, Warner Bros, HBO Max and Zack Snyder are going to release his true vision on HBO Max in March, 2021.
